Having a specific excellence that is different to other educational institutions can be an attractiveness of madrasah. This excellence needs to be managed properly to attract societies and as one of benchmarks of educational institution qualities. Educational institutions in East Kalimantan such as MAN 2 Samarinda, MAN 2 Samarinda, MAN 2 Kutai Kertanegara, and MAN Balikpapan have implemented strategic management in managing their excellence. This research aimed to find out the excellence of each madrasah and strategic management to manage the excellence in MA in East Kalimantan. This is Field work Research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentations. Data analysis techniques used a qualitative analysis technique consisting of data reduction, data model (data display), and conclusing drawing/verification. Based on data, the strategic management considering the madrasah excellence in East Kalimantan is as following: 1) Skill Program based Madrasah has an excellence in the curriculum contents as elective programs for students such as culinary art skills, fashion (sewing skills), light vehicle automotive, computer science, and welding skills. The strategic management implemented is cooperative strategy to build cooperation with and credibility from business field and industry, 2) Religious Program based Madrasah has an excellence in academic by strengthening religious matters, sciences and technology, foreign languages and yellow book. The forms of strategic management used are cooperative strategy and competitive strategy, 3) Excellent Program based Madrasah has an excellence in the students’ achievements from extracurricular activities, particularly martial arts and scientific writing competition. The forms of strategic management are the combination of cooperative strategy and competitive strategy, 4) Regular Program based Madrasah has excellent achievements in scientific writing competition and Syiar Anak Negeri program. The strategic management developed is professional extracurricular coaching by implementing strategic management of cooperative and competitive.

This paper presents data regarding the formula for determining the start of the month for worship at the time of the Prophet. This is important because the determination of the beginning of the month among Muslims has always been a polemic, even Muslims until now still do not have a definite and unique calendar to serve as a common guideline. The method usedin this research is the method introducedby Louay Safi "Unified Aproach to Shari'ah Inference"; namely textual normative inference, empirical-historical-contextualist inference, and integrated inference. The results were as follows: d natural inference stualis te k-normative-legis, fast orders clearly to be given information about ordinances that rukyatul hilal; and if it is cloudy or covered in fog, then it is ordered to calculate, estimate, or fulfill the month into 30 days and the rule of law in matters of mahdah worship such as fasting cannot be changed, sentences that are already text and sharih do not have the character of ijtihadi; and anything that creates controversy in society can be eliminated by the government or the authorities; whereas in the contextualist historical-empirical inference it can be said that worship which includes the obligation of rukyat has encouraged Muslims to study and deepen the science of astronomy ; and in unified inference, the computation of the reckoning at the time of the prophet with the fulfillment becomes thirty days because at that time the Madinans did not have zij or astronomical tables showing the positions of the moon, earth and sun. From this perspective, rukyat often called taabbudiy be part of the entity taaquliy for a silver lining can be found in the annals of the Muslims, and Reckoning ser ing said taaqquliy also part of ta'abbudiy entity because it is part and result of activity namely rukyat taabbudiy .

In various sources of historical books it is said that the Abbasiyah dynasty was the peak of the heyday of Islamic civilization. This article, it aims to describe the Islamic educational institutions at that time which indirectly supported the progress of the Abbasiyah dynasty to reach its peak. This type of research is qualitative research, and is included in the category of library research. The data collection technique uses discourse analysis from books, journal articles, magazines, or other information related to the study of Islamic educational institutions during the Abbasiyah dynasty. Than, the writing of this article was analyzed using the Milles and Huberman analysis model, with the flow of data reduction, data preparation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research in this article can be seen from the form and nature of education. Islamic educational institutions that existed during the Abbasiyah dynasty can be categorized into 3 types. Which consists of informal educational institutions; such as the houses of the scholars', non-formal educational institutions; such as Kutab, mosque, qurhur, bookstore, observatory, literary salun, library, ribath and zawiyah and formal educational institutions, for example, madrasas. A lot of educational institutions that exist shows that this is in accordance with the belief in Islam which requires studying and is considered a form of worship. Therefore the place to study is very diverse, not only focused on a particular place.

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pihak universitas yang menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa yang tidak melakukan pendaftaran ulang pada semester I, II dan III yang menunjukkan ketidakloyalan mahasiswa pada Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang, terutama pada Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (a) pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepercayaan, (b) pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa, (c) pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa, (d) pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap loyalitas, (e) pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap loyalitas, (f) pengaruh kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap loyalitas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah berjumlah 119 orang. Seluruh data yang diperoleh selanjutnya digunakan untuk analisis data. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dan pemilihan responden dengan random sampling. Populasi yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria adalah mahasiswa aktif pada Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang yang telah melakukan registrasi semester 1 hingga semester 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepercayaan menunjukkan nilai koefisien positif dengan nilai C.R=2.490 dengan probabilitas 0.013, pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepuasan dengan nilai C.R=2.788 dengan probabilitas 0.005, pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap kepuasan dengan nilai C.R=5.015, pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap loyalitas dengan nilai C.R=2.649 dengan probabilitas 0.008, sedangkan pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap loyalitas dengan nilai C.R=2.030 dan probablitas 0.042, dan pengaruh kepuasan terhadap loyalitas adalah 2.723 dengan probabilitas 0.006. Bahwa kualitas jasa perguruan tinggi berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas mahasiswa Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang.

The existence of facilities and infrastructure are important parts of achieving justice in the community. The issue of justice so far has talked a lot about issues of infrastructure for people with disabilities. This study aims to examine normatively how the responsibilities of the East Kalimantan regional government in providing facilities in public spaces for people with disabilities. This research basically begins with a normative legal study which examines a behavior from the perspective of the prevailing legal norms. The focus of this research is aimed at examining the existence of normative local government responsibilities. Furthermore, the researchers explored social facts related to the provision of facilities for people with disabilities in East Kalimantan, especially in Samarinda. This study found the responsibility of local governments regarding the provision of facilities for disabilities with the issuance of Peraturan Daerah Nomor.1 of 2018 concerning the Protection and Fulfillment of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The results of this study confirm that with the existence of Law Nomor 8 of 2016, local governments are the party responsible for fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities. In addition, this study also indicates the existence of supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the fulfillment of facilities for persons with disabilities.

Shari'a is a rule or law that is sourced from Allah Ta'ala to be a guide to human life so that it impacts on the benefit of life, both personally and socially. The Shari'a of Allah Ta'ala, everything is benefit and there is no evil, although sometimes it is considered bad by humans, but in essence is good for humans themselves. This study aims to explore the harmony of Islamic law on the benefit of humans in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. The details are aimed at giving explanations and religious insights that are washatiyah (moderate) from a number of suggestions in the form of a prohibition or restriction by the government regarding religious activities and education carried out face to face when the Covid-19 outbreak occurred. The research method used is the library research method with a phenomenological and normative approach. The issues studied are sourced from literacy which has a relation to the focus of the research, obtained from reading turats, research results and others. The results showed that the government's prohibition on termination and restriction in religious and educational activities during the Covid-19 period, such as: restrictions on religious and educational activities carried out face-to-face, were cases permitted in the Shari'a for human benefit.

This research is trying to delve how the company or the employer put their laborers as human beings who at least pays attention on the three aspects of the employee’s right; they are recognition, appreciation and worship. In one side, it cannot be denied that the laborers need the appropriate management, facilities, and salary, but in another side, the employer needs to pay more attention on their needs as human being such as the need to do worship as they believe. There has been an interesting phenomenon about doing the worship for laborers happened in Pamekasan, and it becomes the focus of this research. It is how the laborers’ reality deals with the rights to do worship and how is the review of it from the Islamic law and the Labors law’s perspectives.  Pamekasan with its jargon “Gerbang Salam” should have had a significant role in treating the laborers well deals with worship because theoretically it is legalized by the syara’  (Islamic law) and the constitution. This research used qualitative approach with developmental research kind. The result shows that there are some different regulations between one employer to another employers in applying the  rights to do worship  for the laborers. While from islam's prespective, this reality does not ban the laborers' right to do worship so that it can be categorized as maslahah hajiyah. It is in line with the Labor laws which does not forbit the laborers to do worship. All laborers are given such enough time to do worship although it may be different on it's length in some places because there is no exact regulation on the length of time to do worship in Pamekasan.

Kecerdasan Spiritual merupakan salah satu aspek kecerdasan pada manusia yang menentukan kinerja seseorang dalam pekerjaannya, khususnya bagi seorang pendidik disaat sistem pendidikan saat ini menjadi salah satu kegiatan yang terkena dampak pandemic covid-19, dimana kecerdasaan spirtual menjadi tolak ukur dalam menuntaskan kewajiban dan tanggungjawab sebagai seorang pendidik. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan profesionalitas seorang pendidik dalam menghadapi tantangan global saat ini. Penelitian ini merupakan Field Research yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif, data yang diperloeh melalui observasi, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi. Adapun variabel penelitaian ini ialah  kecerdasan spiritual dan profesionalitas guru, dan untuk mengetahui koelasi antar kedua variabel tersebut, maka mengunakan analisis data statistik berupa koefesien korelasi spearman dengan nilai signifikansi 5% sebesar 0,025 melalui IBM SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ialah sebesar 0,756 dengan nilai signifikansi 0, sedangkan berdasarkan pada tabel interpretasi menyatakan bahwa hubungan antara kedua variabel ini ialah tinggi/kuat dan nilai signifikansi dalam korelasi ialah 0 yang lebih kecil dari 0,025 dengan kata lain kedua variabel ini memiliki ketrekaitan yang sangat erat.

The research based on the phenomenon that indicates Madrasah Tsanawiyah’s  teachers in Samarinda has a good performance when their headmaster lead them effectively and supervision of functional agencies. The purpose of this research are: (a) to describe the quality of the leadership of headmasters of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (b) to describe   the quality of educational supervision of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (c) to describe the quality of the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (d) to find out the influence of  headmasters’ leadership  on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah partially, (e) to find out the influence of education supervision on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah partially, and (f) to find out the influence of headmasters’ leadership  and education supervision on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah  in Samarinda simultaneously. The entire study population Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers of Samarinda amount  629 people, while the sample are 76 teachers  applied multi - stage sampling technique. Determination of madrasah through purposive sampling technique, whereas the selection of respondents conducted through random sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaire techniques, while the data analysis techniques used Multiple Linier Regression Analysis. The result of this research concluded as follows. The headmasters’ leadership based teachers’ assessment are categorized as good (μ= 4,09), while the implementation of education supervision are in good category (μ = 3,92), and the teachers’ performance  are in good category (μ = 4,01). Partial leadership has a strong influence on the teachers’ performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (r= 0.73). The headmasters’ leadership contributed 54.6 % to the effect for improving the quality of teachers performance. Partial implementation of educational supervision has a strong influence on the teacher performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (r = 0.72). Implementation of educational supervision contributed 53% to the effect  for improving the quality of teacher performance. Headmasters’ leadership and implementation of educational supervision simultaneously have a strong influence on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah  (r = 0.74). Headmasters’ leadership and implementation of educational supervision contributied  56.1 % for improving  the quality of teacher performance.

Demands for graduates of quality educational institutions increasingly urgent, in addition to competition between educational institutions also educational institutions must meet minimum graduation standards. This study uses a qualitative approach using data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the findings, the authors conclude as follows: Education Quality Improvement Strategies at SDIT Cordova Samarinda and SDIT YABIS Bontang in terms of the input strategy adopted, namely the selection of Human Resources through a rigorous selection process in accordance with specified criteria; procurement of public utilities and insfrastructures are very complete; partnership support through collaboration with school committees and related foundations and educational institutions; funding guarantees obtained from stakeholders and the integration of the national curriculum, integrated Islamic school network and foundation, In the aspects of the strategic process adopted, namely optimizing the process of decision making, institutional management processes, program management processes, teaching and learning processes, and monitoring and evaluation processes. With a note that the teaching and learning process has the highest level of importance compared to other processes. While increasing the output aspect taken is to improve academic achievement by optimizing existing components and strive to produce quality graduates and increase non-academic achievements by seeking to produce students who have Islamic characters and excel in the arts, sports and extracurricular fields.
