In June 2021, the DFG Research Unit 228 ‘Journal Literature’1 organized the 9t International Conference of the European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) on the topic of ‘Periodical Formats in the Market: Economies of Space and Time, Competition and Transfer’. On behalf of the Research Unit, a team from the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) was responsible for planning and carrying out the event, in coordination with the ESPRit Committee. As the COVID-19 pandemic spread in Europe during the Spring of 2020, the conference team agreed to go virtual with the conference, due to the foreseeable legal and logistical difficulties in planning and carrying it out in person. From the outset, planning the virtual conference was flanked by an intensive process of reflection in which the conference team reviewed and adapted its objectives as well as the methods and processes required to achieve these goals. This process of reflection was significantly more intensive than is the case with on-site conferences, which are based on existing experience and logistical support from the host institutions. The experiences and insights gained are shared in this report in order to assist in planning future conferences.

The Papua issue is a criticism directed at the Indonesian government which is often raised by Pacific countries in the United Nations session, especially by the countries of Fiji, Vanuatu and also the Solomon Islands regarding their views on Papua which is part of Indonesia. Feeling a little swayed by the criticism, the Indonesian government then responded by providing foreign aid which had a motive in it, namely to reduce criticism regarding the Papua issue. Foreign aid carried out by the Indonesian government is implemented in the Triangular South-South Technical Cooperation (KSSY), where this SSTC itself will be a milestone in the strategy to reduce criticism from Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands regarding the Papua issue. The research method used in this journal is a qualitative-descriptive research method, where this method will assist the author in describing the results of this journal by better describing the mechanism and course of a foreign aid process implemented in SSTC to reduce the issue of Papua. The data to be used comes from in-depth interviews with resource persons, as well as from academic journal literature, the media, and official government data which includes books and official annual reports from the government. The results of the research obtained will explain the results of the foreign aid process that was able to reduce the Papua issue raised by Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.

Traditional architecture is often a topic of discussion in the literature as well as in academic discussions and the architect's profession. However, sometimes we also encounter differences in understanding due to different points of view and the literature used. Therefore, this paper aims to re-find the definition of traditional architecture by comparing literature review. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis method with  comparative approach to journal literature reviews. There are 10 national journals and 9 international journals that passed through the selection process and become research samples. The results show that the majority of journals explain that traditional architecture is closely related to the culture of the people in a place that identical to the region or ethnicity. Residential houses as a form of architecture are one of the cultural products of hereditary heritage which are motivated by cultural aspects such as religion, customs, beliefs, philosophies, building process rules, and social aspects to show the social stratification of society through symbols and ornaments. Architectural physical aspects studied in traditional architecture include spatial patterns, structures, materials, main access, space boundaries (walls, roofs, floors), window door openings, orientation, and ornament symbols. PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine. PMC receives about 70,000 XML articles every month and uses XSLT to convert them into its preferred format. In 2021, PMC started to explore options to modernize its extensive conversion codebase leveraging XSLT 3.0. This paper describes XML conversion and its challenges at PMC. It then outlines the first approach that PMC is evaluating: breaking a single conversion operation into multiple, dynamic transformations using fn:transform, one of the powerful new tools available with XSLT 3.0.

The method used for the collection of undergrowth species is a plotted track, a path made as many as two lanes with a track width of 5x50 meters and a distance between lines as far as 50 meters. Determination of the location of observation plots was done by purposive sampling, namely deliberate point determination. To find out the benefits of the undergrowth, interviews were conducted with key respondents, taken from journal literature and books on medicines. Based on the results of the study found 52 species of undergrowth at the study site, 30 species of plants have medicinal properties and 22 other types are used by the community for building materials, firewood as well as food..
