The article presents an outline of the issue concerning formulation of a marketing strategy and the possibility of using the knowledge on consumers' preferences for organic development of farms and their products on the example of southern Poland. The paper analyses the distribution process of organic food in the aspect of developing innovative marketing strategies. The studies were performed in 50 organic farms and on the example of 100 respondents from the region of southern Poland. In the opinion of the surveyed representatives of the organic food producers, a competitive advantage of their offer depends the most on the health values, brand, reputation, and taste. Moreover, information on products and the form and place of their sale are significant. The analysis shows that the knowledge is the most eagerly obtained from the Internet. Thus, producers should publish their profiles and pages on social media and business portals.

The main objective of this study was to determine the behavior of the Polish consumer of organic products during the COVID-19 pandemic and to identify preferred channels of distribution of organic products in the situation of restricted freedom of movement as well as to assess what information displayed on the labels of organic food was most important to the customer. The research was conducted on a sample of 1108 respondents with the use of CAWI technique collected in an online survey carried out in February–August 2020. To analyze the obtained results, cluster analysis, linear regression model and duplication method were used to verify the substitute channels for purchasing organic goods. The pandemic has intensified the health value of consumers when making decisions about choosing food products. Consumers are sensitive shoppers who read the content of the labels and pay attention to the ingredients of the products they buy. The price is also of significant importance for consumers; however, it is less important than, for example, the expiration date of the purchased product. With the use of PCA analysis, it was possible to identify 18 factors that could be divided into three segments: marketing, practical and sensory. The proposed factors, according to the respondents, had an effect on the purchase of organic products by Polish consumers. Regarding the preferred purchasing channels, the Internet is becoming more and more important. Almost one-quarter of the respondents confirmed that they bought organic products via the above-mentioned distribution channel. Nearly 17% of the surveyed consumers considered the Internet to be an alternative way of doing their shopping. The results obtained in the research can be used in the sector of organic food producers to design marketing strategies and to adapt their offer to the proposed four groups of purchasers of organic products: eco-activists, eco-dietitians, eco-traditionalists, eco-innovators.

Marketing evolves in parallel with technology. During the last five years, Marketing 3.0 has become the most innovative marketing approach, but of growing, is research focusing on Marketing 4.0: the marketing of big data. Much has been speculated, but academic journals have published little about Marketing 4.0. Maybe, because the total understanding of Marketing 4.0 requires: firstly, a depth knowledge about the evolution of marketing, especially about Marketing 3.0, and secondly, an analysis of how a range of technology –not only the Internet and social media- can be used to design marketing strategies that enhance the brand-consumer relationship. Taking into account how consumers' behavior has been changing since the beginning of this century, this chapter seeks to review Marketing 4.0 concepts, analyzing how big data can be used to enhance the consumer-brand relationship.

Online business is one of method of promoting/offering goods/services that are carried out using the internet network by communicating with each other. In online business, marketing strategies are needed by advertising each product produced thru social media. One of these strategies is endorsement acts. There are several business ethics noted when endorsers or celebrities promote a product through their social media. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the endorsement strategy at PT Murbey Pasti Sukses is in accordance with business ethics. This type of research is qualitative and collected data from PT Murbey Pasti Sukses. The results of the research and discussion can be concluded that the business strategy at PT Murbey Pasti Sukses uses two types of endorsers, namely artists/celebrities and influencers who are active on social media. Endorsements selection choosen by PT Murbey Pasti Sukses considered by shown a good engagement rate. The four strategy indicators (product, promotion, price and people) describe that promotion indicator has a dominant impact to attract consumers' attention and encourage them to buy. Likewise with online business through social media on Instagram at this time, Murbey conducts online promotions using the endorsement system.

The article discusses the impact of digital marketing on modern entrepreneurship, as well as the main tasks in the formation of the business structure. Predictions of rising consumer power in the digital age leading up to the turn of the century were bolstered by the advent of the Internet and then reignited by social media. Changes in consumer behavior require firms to rethink their marketing strategies in the digital sphere. Currently, much of the related research focuses more on the client than the firm. This study uses the firm’s perspective to facilitate understanding of digital marketing and the use of social media, as well as its benefits and inhibitors. The second generation of Internet applications enhances marketing efforts by allowing firms to introduce innovative forms of communication and co-create content with their customers. Firms ’ participation in digital marketing can be classified according to the perceived benefits and uses of digital marketing. To improve engagement with digital marketing, marketers need to focus on relationship-based interactions with their customers. This article demonstrates how some firms are already achieving just that.

Libraries institutions are responsible for collecting and organizing information resources, and simplifying ways to benefit from it through traditional and electronic tools. Libraries today face many technical challenges, such as open access initiatives. Therefore, in order to preserve its role and contribute to the development of its performance, this study came to try to employ some innovative marketing methods that are compatible with the requirements of the digital environment, especially those followed by social networks, and try to invest them in activating the role of libraries. We believe that the best marketing methods are related to the services themselves, especially those services that are difficult to obtain from the Internet.

This article seeks to answer a question on how the da’wah activities of former members of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) conducted after its disbandment in 2017. This study used a qualitative method with netnography approach in which participation observation is conducted primarily online. The sample of this research was the social media account of former HTI activist, Felix Siauw and his da’wah team of “Yuk Ngaji”. Findings illustrate that the online da’wah of former HTI members has remained a quite strong and omnipresent on the internet that has similar vision to HTI in which their da’wah activities offer khilafah doctrine. Both Felix Siauw and team of “Yuk Ngaji” utilise the method of da’wah 2.0 which is maximizing visual aesthetics, communication skills, and marketing strategies. As the result, they are quite successful in attracting the millennials to be part of their da’wah movement.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to discover profiles of organic food consumers in Lebanon by performing a market segmentation based on lifestyle and attitude variables and thus be able to propose appropriate marketing strategies for each market segment. Design/methodology/approach A survey, based on the use of closed-ended questionnaire, was addressed to 320 organic food consumers in the capital Beirut, in February and March 2014. Descriptive analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis (k-means method) were performed upon collected data. Findings Four clusters were obtained and labelled based on psychographic characteristics and willingness to pay for the most purchased organic products. “Localist” and “Health conscious” clusters were the largest proportion of the selected sample, thus these were the most critical to be addressed by specific marketing strategies, emphasising the combination of local and organic food and the healthy properties of organic products. “Rational” and “Irregular” cluster were relatively small groups, addressed by pricing and promotional strategies. Originality/value This is the first study attempting to segment organic food consumers into different categories in a developing country as Lebanon.
