In our experiment, we studied the possibility of including dry chlorella in primate feeding structures of the diet. In order to replace high-nutritional protein feed of plant and animal origin. Along with dry chlorella, the effect of chlorella suspension, as a dietary supplement, on the primate organism has been studied. For experiments with dry chlorella, the primate feeding ration was changed. In the structure of the diet of dry chlorella feeding was subjected to substitution: dry milk by 90%, egg powder by 9%. Whereas chlorella emulsion with a cell density in the culture fluid of 55-60 million / cm3 rhesus monkeys was obtained with drinking water. At the rate of 2.8 ml / kg body weight per day and complete feed (CF), as in the control group. The data obtained macaca mulatta of the experiment indicate that the inclusion of chlorella in the structure of rations of primates, both dry and with culture liquid, contributes to a better digestibility of feed nutrients. Significantly increases the level of metabolism in the body of primates of the experimental groups. And the results of hematological studies indicate an increase in the natural resistance of the organism.

Introduction. The most susceptible to lead is the hematopoietic system of hematopoietic organs due to lead inhibition of heme and globin synthesis and cytotoxic effect on the membrane of Mature red blood cells. The aim of study was to evaluate the informative value of the study of erythrocyte and reticulocyte parameters determined on modern hematological analyzers in patients working in contact with lead during medical and biological monitoring. Materials and methods. 45 employees of the lead battery processing plant and 30 persons of control group were examined. The level of lead in the blood was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry, δ-ALA in the urine-by the reaction of pyrol formation with acetylacetone in terms of gram of creatinine, the study of hematological parameters was performed on a Sysmex HT-2000i analyzer. Statistical processing of the results was performed using the program STATISTICA 10.0. Results. Significant changes in erythrocytic (RDW) and reticulocytic (RET, IRF, LFR, MFR, HFR, RET-He) parameters, erythropoietin in workers in contact with lead compared to the control group, changes in MCV, MCH, RDW, RET indicators in the group working in dynamics after 2 years were revealed. Associations of hematological parameters with biomarkers of exposure and effect (lead level in blood and ALA in urine) were revealed. Conclusions. Assessment of erythrocyte (MCV, MCH, RDW) and reticulocyte parameters (RET% and their distribution by maturity) in dynamics during periodic medical examinations of workers in contact with lead allows us to detect the development of hematological disorders at early stages.

Poultry farming holds a special place in ensuring the products that the consumers demand, it provides the population with essential food products, such as eggs and meat, that contain vital micro and macronutrients, proteins, lipids, and vitamins. Therefore, the issues of rational, economically feasible feeding of meat poultry, namely broiler chickens, are an urgent task. It is also essential to find effective methods of their application in order to correct the natural resistance and immune and biological reactivity of birds. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the biological stimulant-Nucleostim on the growth and development of chickens, hematological, and immunological parameters of the blood of birds. This Biostimulant is a purified bovine spleen extract containing at least 1 mg / ml of low molecular weight peptides (nucleotides and nucleosides) formed as a result of autolysis, using dry whey and diatomite as fillers. Onthe application ofNucleostim, the gain in live weight of chickens was increased by 9.7%. At the end of the experiment, the livability of the chicks of the experimental group treated with Nucleostimcame up to 88%, compared with the 72% of the control group. The use of biostimulant had a stimulating effect on the liver of chickens confirmed by the research results presented in the article, as well as contributed to the development of the thymus in the setting of general dystrophy. Thus, it improved chicklivability and increased body weight gain. The biological stimulant-Nucleostim as an adaptogenic, anabolic, and immunostimulatory agent is promising for finding new drugs that improve the health and productivity of poultry.

Relevance. Modern turkey crosses have a genetically determined high growth rate. These farm birds are very sensitive to even minor fluctuations in their diet, are susceptible to a deficiency of amino acids, protein, mineral elements and vitamins, which can contribute to a decrease in their productivity, the development of pathological processes and diseases. The use of modern technologies and scientific achievements has made it possible to prepare a new product — modified zeolite. This natural mineral is already free of impurities and microbes, with open pore windows, has a high ability to selectively exchange, and is obtained by various methods of activating zeolite in industrial conditions. At the same time, Ulyanovsk specialists have mastered the technology of enriching modified zeolite with useful substances.Methods. The aim of the work was to study the effect on the body of turkeys and the level of their productivity of additives based on modified zeolite enriched with amino acids. The experiment was organized for 60 days on 250 turkeys of the breed Hybrid Cread-mayker aged 55–60 days in the conditions of the Ulyanovsk region. The control group received the main ration (MR), the experimental group was given once a day in addition to the MR in the morning feeding in a mixture with mixed feed 5% additives of modified zeolite enriched with amino acids.Results. The inclusion of a supplement based on modified zeolite enriched with amino acids in the diet of turkeys does not have a negative effect on the hematological parameters of their blood, all indicators corresponded to the physiological norm. During the experiment in the 2nd group, the live weight of poultry was obtained larger by 8.70%, which amounted to 12,296 kg, respectively, more profit was obtained from the sale of turkey meat, total revenue was 133,210, and additional profit was 27,960 rubles, 2.41 rubles of profit was received for 1 ruble of costs. Тhe data indicate the normalization of mineral homeostasis in the body of turkeys and better absorption of nutrients in the feed diet.

Effects of neem, betel leaf, devil’s tree, jute and turmeric against natural gastrointestinal nematodes in sheep and on some hematological parameters (TEC, Hb and PCV) and body weight were studied. Thirty (30) naturally parasitized sheep were randomly divided into six groups(A, B, C, D, E and F), each consisting of five sheep. Ten percent water extract of leaves of neem, betel leaf, devil’s tree and jute were administered orally to the sheep of group A, B, C and D, respectively. Sheep of group E was treated orally with 10% water extract of rhizome of turmeric. Sheep of group F was kept as infected control group. Fecal samples, hematological parameters and body weight were examined before treatment and on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day. A significant (p<0.01) reduction of EPG count was found following administration of neem (37.60-47.03%), betel leaf (6.43-14.00%), devil’s tree (3.04-11.04%), jute (0.50-5.26%) and turmeric (0.46-8.30) in sheep. The EPG count of the control group (F) were significantly (p<0.01) increased up to the last day of experimental period. After treatment with neem, betel leaf, devil’s tree, jute and turmeric total erythrocyte count (TEC), hemoglobin (Hb) content and packed cell volume (PCV) were increased significantly (p<0.01 and p<0.05) in sheep. The body weight was increased significantly (p<0.01 and p<0.05) in neem, betel leaf, devil’s tree, jute and turmeric treated sheep. On the other hand, body weight was decreased in untreated control group. The present study reveal that 10% water extract of neem was moderately effective and betel leaf, devil’s tree, jute and turmeric were relatively less effective against gastrointestinal nematodes in sheep. The effect of the drug Delcid 7.5 ® on the clinical, hematological and biochemical parameters of rabbits of the New Zealand breed, 6 months of age, when used in doses of 2 ml or 4 ml. Three times with a cutaneous application along the vertebral column from the head to the tail. The conducted studies allow us to conclude that after applying the drug in these doses for 3 days, there were no external signs of intoxication in rabbits. All the animals of the experimental groups were active. The reaction to external stimuli is preserved. Hematological parameters of peripheral blood (number of erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, color index, the average hemoglobin content of PG in erythrocytes, mean corpuscular volume, the exponent of anisocytosis of red blood cells, etc.) of the experimental group after treatment in 5, 15, 25 days had no significant differences from those in the control group, this suggests that the applied drug to the skin along the spine from the withers to the rump at a dose of 2 and 4 ml has no Toxicological effect on peripheral blood. The leukogram of the peripheral blood of rabbits when using the drug did not differ from the control parameters. The analysis of biochemical parameters (activity of aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase, creatinine, urea, glucose, total protein, bilirubin, etc.) of the blood of the experimental groups when applying the drug Delcid 7.5 ® along the spinal column at the maximum therapeutic dose did not reveal statistically significant differences from the control, which indicates that the drug does not have a genotoxic effect, does not interfere with the kidneys and metabolism in the body of rabbits. The results of the conducted studies show that the insecticide-acaricide drug Delcid 7.5® for veterinary use, developed by NVC Agrovetzashchita LLC, is safe for rabbits, and therefore it can be recommended for studying the effectiveness of acarosis in rabbits and other animal species.

Currently, it is important in aquaculture to study and use products and additives, which have positive effects on the digestibility of nutrients by helping to normalize the intestinal microflora, thereby modulating fish immune response. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of a prebiotic based on mannan oligosaccharides produced from the outer walls of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells on the histological structure, morphometric state of the intestine and activity of cellular and humoral components of nonspecific resistance of age -2+ carp. The experiment was conducted in four analogous ponds, which were stocked with age-1 scaly carp with an average weight of 55–58 g with a stocking density of 1000 fish/ha. Carp had been fed balanced compound feed for 60 days. Experimental groups of fish were fed with a prebiotic as a feed additive in the amount of: 0.025 % – Experiment 1, 0.05 % – Experiment 2 and 0.075 % – Experiment 3. Use of the studied prebiotic did not damage the intestinal histological structure of carp of the experimental groups. The villi height and intestinal crypt depth of carp in Experiment 1 (P < 0.05) and Experiment 2 (P < 0.01) were larger compared to the control group. Experiment 3 showed destructive changes in intestinal mucosa. The results of histological examination indicated the effectiveness of the use of the studied prebiotic in the amount of 0.025 and 0.05 % in the diet of age -1+ carp due to the absence of pathological changes and active morphofunctional state of the intestine, which, in turn, had a positive effect on feed absorption and metabolic processes in fish body. Analysis of the indicators of cellular and humoral links of natural resistance showed that in carp of the second and third experimental groups lysozyme activity of serum was 5 and 11 % (P < 0.001) higher than in the control group. Similar changes, though found in a greater extent, were recorded in the study of bactericidal activity of blood serum, especially in individuals of the second and third experimental groups (by 6.8 (P < 0.01) and 15.2 %). While with carps of the third experimental group, which used a prebiotic drug in the amount of 0.075 %, the content of CEC was 20.5 % higher than in the control group, which indicates an additional antigenic load on the body and is an unfavorable diagnostic factor. At the same time, with the fish of the second experimental group, which received, respectively, 0.05 % of the supplement of the drug “Actigen” to the main diet, probably higher phagocytic activity of blood neutrophils was recorded. A direct dependence of the growth of the phagocytic index and the phagocytic number of neutrophils on the dose of the studied prebiotic was detected. Immunological studies indicated a dose-dependent effect of the prebiotic on the activity of cellular and humoral components of non-specific resistance of carp. Given this, for the effective functioning of innate protective mechanisms, for the increase of the body's immune potential and productivity, it is most appropriate to apply to the diet of carp prebiotic supplement “Actigen” in the amount of 0.025 and 0.05 %.

The article presents the data on the effect of antihelmintic and imunomodulating drug «Neoverm» on the dogs’ body when the drug was administered into the stomach of the animals within three days and the results of its application in the combination with the drugs that contain antioxidant and membrane stabilizing substances. To protect the body from toxic action of «Neoverm» the drugs were used under two schemes: «E-Selenium» and «Quercetin», phospholipid hepaprotector «Lesphal» and «green buckwheat» (a feed additive – pre-ground raw buckwheat as a natural source of quercetin). The result a were compared with the control group and the group that received only «Neoverm». It has been found out that the use of «Neoverm» for the dogs both on the 7th and 14th days had a negative impact on the hematological parameters and the activity of blood enzymes that reflects the functional state of the liver. In particular, the reduction in the number of erythrocytes and the level of hemoglobin as well as the significant increase in the activity of diagnostic enzymes: alanine (ALT), asparagine (AST), gammaglutamyl (GGT) transferases and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) have been revealed. The proposed schemes to correct the toxic effect of the drug «Neoverm» in dogs led to the restoration of endogenous antitoxic resources, that is, to a gradual normalization of hematological parameters and the activity of indicatory enzymes of blood (the decrease in the activity of AST, ALT, GGT, ALP and LDH and the normalization of the number of red blood cells and hemoglobin) and that is the basis for the use of the above drugs as protectors-antioxidants when «Neoverm» is used.
