Abstract Acceleration of wilting of forage grasses treated during mowing by the working bodies of dynamic conditioners installed on disc mowers is a prerequisite for improving the quality of forage, primarily in terms of the concentration of high-quality protein, vitamins and other biologically active substances, as well as energy. The main working body of modern conditioning devices is a horizontal shaft rotating at a speed of 18-29 m / s with hinged beaters of various configurations placed on its surface, which ensure grass dragging along the surface of corrugated decks, through combs, etc. [1]. Such devices significantly increase the weight of the mowers, which increases their cost by about 1/3, and the use of an additional drive of the conditioner shaft leads to operational difficulties. In this regard, the search for innovative technical solutions aimed at improving this situation is a very urgent task. The article describes the design and principle of operation of a rotary conditioner with a vertical axis of rotation developed in Federal Williams Research Center of Forage Production & Agroecology for the KR-2.1M mower of the “Agramak” company, the articulated beams of which are installed directly on its discs. The mower with an innovative conditioner was tested on a mixture of reed fescue with clover of the first cut and on tetraploid meadow fescue of the second. The yield of green mass, the composition of the herbage, its height and lodging, as well as the phase of development were determined in accordance with the guidelines for conducting field experiments with forage crops. The work of the mower was evaluated according to GOST 28722-90. The article presents data on the degree of damage to treated plants and the dynamics of the rate of their dehydration.

Purpose: to study the technological process of loosening the soil with a flat-cutting blade and a tine. Materials and methods: the methods of analyzing the power impact on the tine, as well as the theoretical provisions of failure hypotheses are used. As an object of research, the working bodies of tools with a horizontal cutting edge were considered, namely, flat-cutting blades which are used for overall tillage. Results: as a result of studies it was found that the main parameters of flat-cutting blades include: operating width Bi, opening angle 2γ, crumbling angle β0, edge angle i0, band width b, which determine the blades shape and the nature of the impact on the soil. When considering the layout of the soil deformation zones, i. e., the simultaneous combined effect of the tine and plowshares of the horizontal blade, it was found that the zones for obtaining fine soil fractions increase, and a decrease in the thickness t of tine and the operating width of the share B affects the crumbling value. This, in turn, allows regulating the zones for obtaining fine soil fractions and determining the optimal composition of blade width and tine thickness for better crumbling. Conclusions: according to the research results, it was found that the generalized estimated indicator (W) of options for deep tillage ranges from 0.82 to 0.84, for shallow loosening from 0.84 to 0.87, and for surface shallow tillage from 0.845 to 0.870. For loosening soil with mixing crop residues with soil particles, the option W = 0.84 with a vertical tine t = 2.0 cm and a blade operating width of 42.0 cm is acceptable. For surface and presowing tillage, the most suitable options are WX = 0.87 and WXI = 0.85, allowing carrying tillage to a depth of 6–10 cm.

Annotation Purpose. Improving the methodology of substantiation of the selection of energy means for performing technological operations in walnut orchards, which is the basis for further determination of their rational parameters. Methods. The research uses the principles of systems analysis, as well as monographic and graph analytical methods. Results. Performing technological operations in walnut orchards requires special features from tractors: movement in the rows of the garden without damaging the tree crown; providing aggregation of symmetrical machines and with lateral displacement; availability of a universal hydraulic system for the drive of working bodies; to provide statistical and dynamic stability when hanging agricultural machines. To achieve this goal, it is advisable to consider the tractor on a two-parameter classification system, ie the transition from traction to traction-energy concept, take into account the traction force of the tractor on the hook and the effective power of the tractor engine. To substantiate the parameters of the energy means of performing technological operations in perennial walnut plantations, an algorithm is proposed that allows taking into account the technical and technological parameters of MTU. It is developed on the basis of information on the technologies of growing walnuts available on the world market and technical means for their implementation. It is developed on the basis of information about the technologies and technical means of walnut production available on the world market and allows carrying out their system-structural analysis. The identification of domestic and foreign energy remedy available on the market to ensure the technological process of walnuts production was carried out and correlation-regression analysis was performed, which allowed establishing the relationship between tractor cost and their parameters: engine power, operating weight. The proposed dependences make it possible to substantiate the rational (optimal) parameters of the technical support of the entire technological process with different subject-production characteristics. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of existing methods of substantiation of parameters of energy remedy for technological operations of agricultural production it is established that specialized methods that would take into account the peculiarities of walnut production absent. A new technique has been developed that will increase the efficiency of substantiation of energy parameters during the technological operations of walnut cultivation. The identification of available on the market energy remedy, machines and tools for technological operations of walnut production is carried out and their parametric and cost indicators are established. Based on these data, a regression analysis was performed, which made it possible to establish the relationships between price and their parametric indicators. Keywords: energy remedy, garden, walnuts, weight, traction force, method, rational parameters.

Abstract The subject research is operation of a combined machine for soil preparation and seeding of sunflower and corn seeds. Technological process of machine operation with installed guides, passive rotating flat discs with flanges (which properly ensure movement of soil along the plough share to loosening-separating device), a sowing device, a seed tube, a furrow former, a rotor, a separating grid, a parallelogram mechanism, a spring, a share is described. Dynamic prerequisites for increasing uniformity of depth of groove formation and seed placement in depth in soil are considered. Values of length of links of parallelogram mechanism, initial angle of their installation and stiffness of spring, values of deviations of combined machine section from given depth of movement of plough share are determined. It is proved that with an increase in length of levers of parallelogram mechanism, maximum deviations of section increase. An increase in initial angle of inclination of levers of parallelogram mechanism causes an increase in maximum deflections. As spring stiffness increases, maximum deflections decrease. Relevance of study lies in ensuring stability of copying soil surface by working bodies of combined machine while depth of seeding remains unchanged along entire length of movement, which will make it possible to increase movement speed and unit width. Target group of consumers of information in the article - designers, specialists involved in development of tillage machines.

In the article researched the requirements for machines with disk working parts which are using today. According to the results of the research, it has been proved that some indicators have lost their relevance and are not necessary in modern conditions, because they are replaced by electronic control systems. In the materials of the article indicators of work of machine units in field conditions at cultivation of soil by disk working bodies in different farms of Sumy region are given. Machines of domestic production are researched: T-150+UDA-2,4, HTZ 17221+UDA-3,1, HTZ 17221+UDA-3,8. During the study of the performance of machine units in the performance of disking used different techniques and instruments that maximize the accuracy of research. The aim was to explore the existing and alternative ways of regulating the depth of cultivation by machines with disk working parts. Thus, we conducted research and obtained results on adjusting the depth of the speed of the disk, changing the angle of attack of the working batteries. The analysis of the experimental data has made it possible to determine the optimal parameters of the speed of movement of the tillage unit and the angles of attack at which it is possible to perform the technological process of disc tillage from the performance indicators that will meet the agro-requirements.

Abstract. The authors presented the results of research and development, on the basis of which a new device was created that facilitates the restoration of degraded mountain pastures after unsystematic use with excessive grass grazing. The purpose of the study is to develop a new method of improvement and a prototype of attachments that will allow the seeding of perennial grasses in sparse grass and bare areas of the soil, which will increase stiffness. The object of the study are the working bodies: sowing devices, the original design, scatter cones, net runners. The novelty of the technical solution lies in the fact that the authors of the article developed a new resource-saving method for improving mountain fodder land using a modernized seeder equipped with removable working bodies for automatic, targeted seed sowing, sowing seeds only in degraded and bare areas, skipping areas with normal grass stand. The tests were carried out at a mountain hospital, located on the southeastern exposition of the Dargavsky depression of the North Ossetia-Alania, at an altitude of 1650 m above sea level with a slope of 10°, in six plots, with a recorded area of 360 m2 two options in triplicate. The first option is natural seeding, and the second is the seeding of grasses by the aggregate. The plots are located across the slope randomized. It was found that at a concentration of 17.2 MJ of energy in 1 kg of dry matter of feed, the total collection in the control plot was 29.7 GJ, and in the seeded experimental field – 85.3 GJ. It was revealed that changes in the grass stand influenced the accumulation of biomass of phytocenosis. So, the crop of the aboveground fodder mass, when sowing grasses, in the first year of observations was 18.2 c/ha of dry weight, which is 5 times higher than in the control. During the growing season of the third year of observations, the yield in the sown area was 59.1 c/ha of dry weight against 17.3 c/ha in the control.
