Abstract Horticultural crops are one of the most prominent national income supporters in Indonesia. Chili is one of the vegetable commodities that have excellent and promising business opportunities. The need for chili increases every year, in line with the increasing population and the development of industries that require chili as raw material. This study aimed to determine the number of costs, revenues, income, and profits and determine the efficiency of chili farming in Indonesia. The total respondent was 342 from four provinces: West Java, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Central Java, and East Java. The basic research method used in this research was descriptive and analytical. This study was carried out using survey techniques with a simple random sampling method. The method of analysis used is the analysis of costs, revenues, income, and farming profits. The results showed that the chili farming business obtained IDR 114,510,523.99. The costs incurred are IDR 41,120,740.16 per growing season so that the income is IDR 91,905,415.11 and the profit is IDR 73,389,783.83. The R/C ratio of 2.78 indicates that it is efficient.

Pati Regency has the highest cassava productivity in Central Java, however tapioca industry still experiences difficulty in finding raw materials, moreover, cassava farmers have low income. The objectives of this research are 1) to investigate spatial distribution pattern of cassava and tapioca industry, 2) to review the supply of cassava to self-sufficiency oriented tapioca, and 3) to create model of integrated empowerment pilot plan received by upstream-downstream human resources. The research used Cluster Area sampling technique of cassava field and Simple Random Sampling in tapioca industry. The pilot plan model approved by the human resources was the qualified and ready-to-process cassava. Other than that, it could increase additional value of cassava products made by chip makers or for stabilizing the supply to the downstream sector as the raw material for tapioca industry.

This research aimed to assessing whether epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and belief about learning predicted of the constructivist conception of teaching and learning, assessing whether epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge and belief about learning predicted of the traditional conception of teaching and learning. The population in this research consists of students of Tarbiyah Department of STAIN Kudus, Central Java. The sample was as many as study 242 students, taken through simple random sampling method. The data collection techniques used in this research was questionnaire in the form of scales and checklists. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Models (SEM). The research resulted that epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about learning was negatively related on the constructivist conception of teaching and learning and) epistemological beliefs as measured by belief about knowledge was positively related on the traditional conception of teaching and learning.

<p><em>The aim of this study is to find out about the effect of distribution channel, substitution commodity price and consumer demand for cayenne pepper price in Ngablak Market, District of Magelang, Central Java. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling, in which 36 respondents were used. The type of this study is a descriptive quantitative. This study used a survey as the method by interviewing respondents in a research location. Data analysis used in this study was multiple linear regression. The result of this study shows that distribution channel and curly red chili price have real effect on cayenne pepper price on the other hand, consumer demand for cayenne pepper didn’t have any real effect on cayenne pepper price.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari faktor saluran distribusi, harga komoditas pengganti (substitusi) dan permintaan konsumen terhadap harga cabai rawit di Pasar Ngablak, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik <em>simple random sampling</em> dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 36 responden. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode <em>survey</em> dengan cara mewawancarai responden di lokasi penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel saluran distribusi dan harga cabai merah keriting berpengaruhnyata terhadap harga cabai rawit sementara permintaan konsumen terhadap cabai rawit tidak berpengaruhnyata terhadap harga cabai rawit.</em></p><p> </p>

This study aims to analyze the effect of reputation, competence on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study were students of private tertiary institutions in Central Java who are members of Services for Higher Education Institutions Region VI, while a sample of 5 private universities, using the purposive sampling method, was taken with the Slovin formula of 190 respondents. The analysis technique uses regression analysis. Research results show the customer satisfaction variable can be an intervening variable or able to mediate between the direct influence of the reputation variable and the competency variable on customer loyalty variables.

This study mainly focuses on customer care management and customer loyalty. Even though there are many experiential studies about customer care management and customer loyalty system, the lack of studies on customers in Karabük and Safranbolu locally, has leaded to focus on this study. Thus, this study mainly focuses on the influence of customer care treatments of banks in Karabük and Safranbolu on customer loyalty. Descriptive research type was used in the study. In this study simple random sampling method was used which is one of the probability sampling method, face to face surwey to all 726 participants was used for the study. As the result of the experiential study, the attendance and influence of customer care management and loyalty systems have been comparatively low, but it has been figured out that customer care management system influences customer loyalty level.

Mount Merapi eruption has occurred several times in Indonesia and the biggest eruption that last occurred in 2010. The community were suffered losses and were affected by eruptions. The purposes of this research are to analyze community resilience, to analyze the level of vulnerability, and to analize the community adaptive capacity. The research using a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. Simple random sampling technique is used as the sampling method and the informant was taken purposively. The results of this research showed that when the eruption occurred the community has a high vulnerability. The adaptive capacity is also high with innovative learning based on institutional memory and supported by the connectedness. Communities achieve resilience and can adapt to changes with high adaptive capacity.  Keywords: adaptive capacity, community resilience, eruption, vulnerability ABSTRAK Erupsi Gunung Merapi sudah terjadi beberapa kali di Indonesia dan erupsi terbesar yang terjadi terakhir kalinya yaitu pada tahun 2010. Komunitas mengalami berbagai kerugian dan terkena dampak dari erupsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis resiliensi komunitas, menganalisis tingkat kerentanan komunitas, dan menganalisis kapasitas adaptasi komunitas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung oleh data kualitatif. Pemilihan responden dilakukan dengan teknik sampel acak sederhana sedangkan pemilihan terhadap informan dilakukan secara sengaja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa saat erupsi terjadi komunitas memiliki kerentanan yang tinggi. Kapasitas adaptasi komunitas tinggi dengan adanya innovative learning yang didasari oleh pengetahuan dan pengalaman dan didukung oleh jaringan yang dimiliki. Komunitas berhasil mencapai resiliensi dan dapat beradaptasi dengan perubahan-perubahan dengan kapasitas adaptasi yang tinggi.Kata kunci : kapasitas adaptasi, kerentanan, erupsi, resiliensi komunitas

The purpose of this study was to analize the impacts of service quality and customer value on the satisfaction of customers. Questionnaires are used to collect data from Boks Café customer in Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes, Central java by using scale of Likert. In this study, accident sampling method was used and data analysis method was simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicated that service quality and customer value positively and significant influenced the satisfaction of customers. The conclution of this study is that customer value was dominant than service quality in influencing the satisfaction of customers

The aim of this research is to find out how big the role of the farmer group members in increasing rice production at Korobhera Village, Meggo Subdistrict, Sikka District. The research has been done on April to May 2019. This is a qualitative study with purposive sampling considering the site was one of rice central production. The objectives of the study were to know : 1) how big the role of the farmer group members to productivity increasing in the area of research ; 2) the constraints faced by the members of the farmer group. Sample was done randomly using simple random sampling method with a total sample size of 50 people, who were the members of four farmer groups existed. The results of research indicated that the role of farmer group members in increasing rice production at the location of research was high, shown by the percentage of the accomplishment maximum score from average score in the amount of 75,65% (average score 87). The constraints faced by members of farmer group were quite similar, which were financial capital limits problem, uncaged livestocks and the availability of production tools was often not on time.

Background: Assertiveness, which is defined as the way individuals express themselves and as a part of healthy life, is among the prominent features of people who do sports. Assertiveness is an element that increases the quality of people's relationships with their environment. Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the assertiveness scores of the athletes engaged in individual sports in different branches according to independent variables. Methods: The research was designed according to the relational screening model. The sample of the research; The sample consists of 201 participants selected by simple random sampling method among the athletes dealing with different individual sports branches. The branches of the athletes; (Consists of taekwondo and cycling sports) Results: In the study, the personal information form created by the researcher to collect information about the independent variables (gender, age,) that are thought to be effective in the research, and the Rathus Assertiveness Inventory (RAE) were used. It is seen that 1% of the participants are in the avoidant group, 88.6% are in the moderately avoidant group, and 10.6% are in the assertive group. Conclusion: When the assertiveness scale mean scores of the participants by gender are examined, it is seen that the level of assertiveness by gender does not differ statistically significantly. When the assertiveness scale mean scores of the participants according to age are examined, it is seen that the level of assertiveness according to age does not differ statistically significantly. Indonesia as one of the largest coffee producing countries in the world has an important role in global trade, namely the specialty coffee trade. Specialty coffee is one of the leading commodities for coffee producing countries like Indonesia because of the taste of the coffee. The quality of the product itself has an understanding that the product offered by the seller has more selling value that must be owned by competitors' products, therefore the company is trying to focus on the quality of the product and compare it with the products offered by competing companies. This research is associative research using a quantitative approach. With the aim to analyze the effect of Coffee Beverage Product Quality on Buyer's Decisions at Point Coffee Pedurenan, South Jakarta, as well as find out which factors have a dominant influence on Buyer's Decisions at the Coffee Shop. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who had visited Point Coffee by using the Probability Sampling method with the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data was collected using questtionnaires and distribute it directly to buyers at Point Coffee. The suggestion from this research is that the owner of Point Coffee can maintain the hygiene that has been applied by the workers, Increase again the Quality, Quantity, Variation, and Innovation of coffee beverage products in terms of flavor, to meet the buyer's decision. And Point Coffee is more innovative so that buyers don't get bored easily if they come again at Point Coffee. Keywords: Product Quality, Service Quality, Purchasing Decisions
