Parsana Health Centre Private Limited, a part of the INR 4,500 crore1 fitness industry, was a fitness centre established at Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in India in December 2002, as an integral part of the organized players of the fitness industry. It had been relentlessly working towards creating and nurturing a healthy lifestyle for the people of Ahmedabad over the previous two eventful decades. Under the able guidance of skilled trainers and dieticians, the fitness enthusiast could enjoy state of the art gym facilities, in the upcoming mega city of Ahmedabad. Parsana Health Centre Private Limited enjoyed the first mover advantage in Ahmedabad and tapped the fitness club2 market through its 13 franchises opened in select vantage locations of the city. It was started by the Parsana brothers: Vijay and Dinesh. They strived hard to inculcate the fitness regime in people and attempted to interweave the benefits of fitness with their occupations. However, the road undertaken threw challenges at them – sometimes from people who failed to underline the importance of fitness in their daily schedule, and sometimes from other fitness brands which emerged as strong competitors. The emergence of many individual and branded fitness chains started making inroads into the busy streets of Ahmedabad and they too worked hard to pull out fitness enthusiasts to these social fitness centres by providing personal health counseling, rejuvenation, yoga, etc. Sustaining competitive advantage became a tough task.

This developing area provides a very wide potential in the development as an area that has excellent products or development projects in Bandung. Cigondewah area has the potential to become this area as a creative industrial area that can support the income of the people and the city of Bandung. Cigondewah is one of the areas known as the Cigondewah environment and surrounding areas as a creative industrial area about the utilization of textile industry waste that sells the rest of cloth from factories around the city of Bandung. The area of Cigondewah grows and develops with the uniqueness of the community itself that will take advantage of opportunities from the textile industry, homes along the road corridor that turns into the shelter, the community into warehouses and shops to sell fabrics.It is also the aim of the government to promote and develop tourist areas Cigondewah for the future to be better again to enhance the identity of the area Cigondewah as a tourist area fabric shopping in the city of Bandung. This study aims to determine the development of creative industries in Cigondewah. Cigondewah Textile Tourism Area of Bandung City, especially Capacity Building, to show the identity and image of Cigondewah area as a textile tourism area in Bandung City. The identity of Cigondewah area which is currently called Cigondewah as Tourism Shopping Area Cloth. From this research is expected to give an idea that the environment is in the corridor Cigondewah road.

ABSTRACT  Related to the implementation of the Regional Regulation (Perda) about the increase in parking rates at the edge of the road prone to congestion in the city of Bogor ratified and entered into force on July 2, 2012, The first location that imposed this tariff is the Way Suryakencana and Jalan Siliwangi Bogor and the second location is the application of The Government through the Department trials Traffic Transportation (DLLAJ) Bogor City gets a reaction from the people around Jalan Suryakencana. Enactment of the increase in parking rates at Jalan Bogor Suryakencana expected to reduce illegal parking of vehicles in the area, which has been causing congestion. With parking rates that have been enacted many road users who park their vehicles in multiple and indiscriminate. The method used in this study is empirical juridical approach. The study, based on an inventory of positive law, the discovery of the principles of law and legal discovery inconcretto, which include observation of empirical operationalization of law in society. The conclusion from this study is the basis of the application of the levy Parking Services Bank Public Road, especially in the city of Bogor is Law No. 28 of 2009 on Regional Taxes and Levies and Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012. Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012 on Increase Rates Parking is not yet fully effective this is due to high payments also has not been matched with adequate services, the responsibility for the damage and loss still be a burden for the owner of the vehicle so that the functions and responsibilities of the government that deal with parking problems is questionable. Impact parking tariff policy to demand that any increase in the parking rate of 10 percent would result in a decrease in the use of parking of 0.7 -0.8 percent, increase use of public transport and cycling amounted to 3.71 percent of 0.9 percent. Abstract The rapid development of the city has resulted in the development of development in each city getting more massive with a relatively fast duration of development. This has very significant impacts on the livelihoods of the people. One of the impacts is flooding that occurs due to wrong land use and improper drainage makers. Drainage as a diversion system for excess water is needed to divert water that falls into the road body and tackle inundation that occurs when it rains. This is intended to reduce the risk of accidents due to slipping of tires due to water. The planning of the road surface drainage system in the case of the Budiman Kota Tembilahan road needs important attention in order to avoid flooding or accidents. In this study, an analysis of drainage planning was carried out with a simulation using hecras 4.0 software to simulate the planned drainage conditions on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city. After collecting data on the length of the drainage channel on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city and Catchment for the residential area on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city, as well as rainfall data for the last 10 years, the planned discharge and drainage for the drainage of Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city are Qrencana = 0,141 m3/dt  dan Qsaluran = 0,264 m3/dt dimana Qs > Qr with a rectangular cross section. Then the calculation simulation can be done using HEC-RAS 4.0 software. The results of the analysis of the drainage planning of Tembilahan city roads state that the planned drainage using hecras simulations based on manual calculations is able to accommodate discharge and no runoff.   Keywords: Hec ras 4.0, discharge  , simulation Abstrak Pesatnya perkembangan kota mengakibatkan perkembangan pembangunan pada tiap – tiap kota semakin masif dengan durasi perkembangan yang relatif cepat. Hal tersebut memiliki dampak – dampak yang sangat signifikan bagi hajat hidup warga. Salah satu dampaknya ialah banjir yg terjadi diakibatkan tata guna lahan yang salah dan pembuat drainase yang tidak tepat. Drainase sebagai sistem pengalih kelebihan air sangat diperlukan untuk mengalihkan air yang jatuh ke badan jalan dan menanggulangi genangan yang terjadi ketika hujan. Hal tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menggurangi resiko kecelakaan karena tergelincirnya ban akibat air. Perencanaan sistem drainase permukaan jalan dalam kasus jalan budiman kota tembilahan perlu mendapat perhatian yang penting guna terhindar dari genangan banjir atau kecelakaan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis perencanaan drainase dengan simulasi menggunakan software hecras 4.0 guna mensimulasilkan kondisi drainase yang direncanakan pada Jalan Budiman kota Tembilahan. Setelah mengumpulkan data panjang saluran drainase di jalan Budiman kota Tembilahan dan Catchment Area pemukiman di Jalan Budiman kota Tembilahan, serta data curah hujan 10 tahun terakhir diperoleh debit rencana dan debit saluran untuk drainase Jalan Budiman kota Tembilahan adalah Qrencana = 0,141 m3/dt  dan Qsaluran = 0,264 m3/dt dimana Qs > Qr dengan penampang persegi empat. Kemudian dapat dilakukan simulasi perhitungan menggunakan software HEC-RAS 4.0.Hasil dari Analisis perencanaan drainase jalan budiman kota tembilahan menyatakan drainase yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan simulasi hecras yang berdasarkan hitungan manual mampu mengakomodasi debit dan tidak terjadi limpasan.   Kata kunci: Hec Ras 4.0, Debit, simulasi

Hybrid Application of Roads and Road Fittings Facilities Conditions in the City of Mataram is an application consisting of web applications and mobile applications. The web application is used by Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang of mataram city and Dinas Perhubungan of mataram city to manage condition data from city roads and also road fittings facilities in the city of Mataram and to receive complaints of damage from the public. While the mobile application is used by the people of the city of Mataram to see the condition of the road and road fittings facilities based on data from the department and the public can also make complaints about damage from roads and road facilities. System testing using the Black Box method and MOS testing. MOS test results indicate that the average rating of respondents from Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang of Mataram City stated strongly agree and agree were 66.67% and 33.33%. The average rating of respondents from Dinas Perhubungan of Mataram City stated strongly agree and agree were 58,33% and 41,67%.  The average rating of respondents from the community stated strongly agree and agree were 52,50% and 44,17%. Therefore, this research concluded that this system is eligible to use.

The writing of this paper aims to explain the benefits of the Nyadran Tradition in Temanggung Regency. The Nyadran tradition is a traditional event carried out by the people of the City of Temanggung which is held before the fasting month. The background of the writing of this paper is the Nyadran Tradition which is still preserved until now and the high enthusiasm of the citizens of the City of Temanggung for continuing to hold the tradition. Research on the Nyadran Tradition uses data collection by interviewing the ancestors of one of the villages in the City Temanggung and documentation data. The results of the study showed that, after the interview it was concluded that many people were very enthusiastic to attend the event, both from children to adults. After seeing the documentation data it can be seen that many people who migrate home to follow the Nyadran Tradition and establish a friendly relationship with local residents. Nyadran tradition is usually followed by all people in one village. This tradition is also used by people who wander to return to their hometown. Everyone gathered along the road to the tomb to greet each other and stay in touch. This tradition is also used by people who wander to return to their hometown.

Abstrak Masyarakat Kota Kediri menyadari pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang aman dan nyaman bagi lingkungannya sehingga mendorong kesadarannya berpartisipasi terhadap pengelolaan sampah terpadu berbasis masyarakat. Meskipun partisipasi masyarakat cukup baik, akan tetapi tidak bisa dipungkiri dimana masih dijumpai sebagian kecil masyarakat melakukan pembuangan sampah bukan pada tempatnya seperti sungai atau kali dan selokan sehingga dapat menimbulkan banjir dikala musim hujan, juga di pinggir-pinggir jalan sehingga menimbulkan kesan kotor dan mengurangi pemandangan keindahan kota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan partisipasi masyarakat Kota Kediri dalam pengelolaan sampah berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 3 Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.  Sedangkan teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Guna melakukan keabsahan data, peneliti melakukan triangulasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Adapun langkah-langkahnya menurut Moleong (2010:189-192) meliputi reduksi data penafsiran dengan penyimpulan data dari lapangan dan diaplikasikan dilanjutkan dengan membuat suatu rangkuman data. Rangkuman data tersebut selanjutnya ditafsirkan sesuai dengan metode analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa kurangnya kesadaran sebagian masyarakat, dan tidak semua masyarakat mengetahui teknik pemilahan sampah antara organik dan non-organik. Kata Kunci: Partisipasi Masyarakat; Pengelolaan Sampah; Peraturan Daerah Abstract The people of Kediri City realize the importance of safe and comfortable waste management for their environment so that they encourage their awareness to participate in community-based integrated waste management. Even though community participation is quite good, it is undeniable that a small number of people still dispose of garbage in places such as rivers or streams and ditches so that it can cause flooding during the rainy season, also on the sides of the road so that it creates a dirty impression and reduces the view. the beauty of the city. The purpose of this study was to describe the participation of the people of Kediri City in waste management based on Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2015. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. Meanwhile, the informant selection technique used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. To validate the data, the researcher conducted triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative analysis. The steps according to Moleong (2010: 189-192) include reduction of interpretive data by summarizing data from the field and applying it followed by making a summary of the data. The data summary is then interpreted according to the method of analysis. The results of the study found that the lack of awareness of some people, and not all people know the technique of sorting waste between organic and non-organic. Keywords: Society participation; Waste management; Local regulation

Community empowerment efforts by the City of Padang BAZNAS is through a program that is used as a form of productive zakat utilization and the distribution carried out by BAZ must be prioritized to productive businesses and on target. From this description, the researcher formulated the problem in three research problem formulations, namely 1. How is the BAZNAS strategy of Padang City in empowering the poor with the requirements of the mosque/mushalla congregation. 2. How is the implementation of empowering the poor by the Padang City BAZNAS on the condition of being a mosque/mushalla congregation? And 3. What are the inhibiting and supporting factors of Padang City BAZNAS in empowering the poor on the condition of being a mosque/mushalla congregation? This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are the BAZNAS strategy of Padang City in empowering the poor with the requirements of mosque/mushalla congregation, it has been conducted since 2011. If the people who submit do not have an active certificate of this congregation it will not be served at BAZNAS Padang City. Implementation of the empowerment of the poor by the Padang City BAZNAS with the requirement to be a mosque/mushalla congregation, in the field there are found mosques or mushallas that provide convenience, however there are also mosque or mushalla administrators who are indeed selective in providing the certificate, even though they face challenges from the community around it. The inhibiting factor of Padang City BAZNAS in empowering the poor on condition of being a mosque/mushalla congregation is the lack of public understanding of the purpose of the inclusion of the active congregation certificate. While the supporting factors are the City of Padang BAZNAS has strength, there is support and assistance from the government, has experienced human resources, and has a strategic location on the edge of the road by the city of Padang.Keywords: Strategy, Baznas, Empowering, The Poor, Mosque Jama'ah

ABSTRACTAnalysis of Mode Choice Models as The Effect Plan Implementation of Odd-Even Schemes In Bekasi City: One strategy to reduce the use of automobile is implementing the policy of odd-even on the road sections are unidentified has an unworthy performance. With the implementation of the odd-even scheme, it is expected that the automobile user will switch to using public transportation. In Indonesia, this scheme has already conducted trials on corridor Sudirman Thamrin, Jakarta, and had a positive response towards the implementation of this policy, which is about 13.3% citizens moved to use TransjakartaBusway. If the same scheme was implemented in TheCity Bekasi, was going to have the same response with the city before? How the selection of the mode of the community, when done the policy plan simulation. Quantitative research is conducted by calculating the probability of mode choice the odd-even scheme implementation plan simulations The City of Bekasi using binary logit analysis in the SPSS 17.0 software. The result is plan the implementation of this scheme, it is noted that the people of The City of Bekasi tend to continue using automobile with a probability of 61%, while opportunities will use public transport around 39%. Even so, simulation of the scheme is able to improve the use of public transportas much as 10%.Keywords: Mode Choice; Planning; Odd-Even Scheme.ABSTRAKSalah satu strategi dalam mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi adalah dengan menerapkan kebijakan ganjil genap pada ruas jalan yang teridentifikasi memiliki kinerja yang tidak layak. Dengan diterapkannya skema ganjil genap, diharapkan para pengguna kendaraan pribadi akan beralih menggunakan transportasi massal. DI Indonesia, skema ini sudah dilakukan uji coba pada koridor Sudirman-Thamriin, Jakarta, dan memiliki respon yang positif terhadap penerapan kebijakan ini, yaitu sekitar 13.3% warga berpindah untu menggunakan Bus Transjakarta. Jika skema yang sama diterapkan di Kota Bekasi, apakah akan memiliki respon yang sama dengan kota sebelumnya? Bagaimana pemilihan moda masyarakat, saat dilakukan simulasi rencana kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif yang dilakukan dengan menghitung probabilitas pemilihan moda masyarakat saat dilakukan simulasi rencana penerapan skema ganjil genap Kota Bekasi dengan menggunakan analisa binary logit dengan bantuan software SPSS 17.0. Hasilnya adalah dengan rencana penerapan skema ini, diketahui bahwa masyarakat Kota Bekasi cenderung tetap menggunakan kendaraan pribadi dengan probabilitas sebesar 61%, sedangkan peluang yang akan menggunakan transportasi umum sekitar 39%. Meskipun demikian simulasi skema ini mampu meningkatkan penggunaan transportasi umum sebanyak 10%.Kata Kunci: Pemilihan Moda; Perencanaan; Skema Ganjil Genap

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

Based on the concept of a livable and global age-friendly city, pavements are a public facility that the city should provide to the people. Appropriate pavements will be beneficial for the people, particularly for good quality of life for the elderly to move around in the city. This study explored the behaviour of the elderly in the use of pavements and the problems confronted. The study also evaluated the value of the pavement walking area as it reflected the benefits of pavements to the elderly by applying the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). During March-May 2017, data were collected using interviews with 601 elderly living in Bangkok. The study indicated that the main problem for senior citizens regarding their use of pavements was from being disturbed by motorbikes riding on the pavements. The average value of pavement for the elderly was about THB 160 (USD 5.30) per person per year. Thus, the benefits of pavements to the elderly in Bangkok was approximately THB 158 million (USD 5.2 million) per year. Thus, policy makers should make proper budget allocations for elderly-friendly pavement management and seriously address the problems confronting the elderly in using pavements, to maximize the usefulness of pavements not only for the elderly but also for the public and to support a sustainable urban development.
