The possibility of using near infrared hyperspectral imaging spectroscopy to quantify the water content in commercial biscuits was investigated. Principal component analysis was successfully applied to hyperspectral images of commercial biscuits to monitor their water contents. Variables were selected and water contents quantified using analysis of variance, followed by multiple linear regression, and the results were compared with those obtained with variable importance in projection partial least squares. Initially equal to 212, the number of variables after application of analysis of variance was equal to 10. Analysis of variance–multiple linear regression gave better results: the coefficient of determination (R2) was higher than 0.92 and the root mean square error of validation was less than 0.015. The “prediction images” obtained were very relevant and can be used to study biscuit defects. The methodology developed could be implemented at the industrial level for biscuit quality control and for online monitoring of the uniform distribution of water in the superficial layer of biscuits.

Non-invasive determination of leaf nitrogen (N) and water contents is essential for ensuring the healthy growth of the plants. However, most of the existing methods to measure them are expensive. In this paper, a low-cost, portable multispectral sensor system is proposed to determine N and water contents in the leaves, non-invasively. Four different species of plants—canola, corn, soybean, and wheat—are used as test plants to investigate the utility of the proposed device. The sensor system comprises two multispectral sensors, visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR), detecting reflectance at 12 wavelengths (six from each sensor). Two separate experiments were performed in a controlled greenhouse environment, including N and water experiments. Spectral data were collected from 307 leaves (121 for N and 186 for water experiment), and the rational quadratic Gaussian process regression (GPR) algorithm was applied to correlate the reflectance data with actual N and water content. By performing five-fold cross-validation, the N estimation showed a coefficient of determination ( R 2 ) of 63.91% for canola, 80.05% for corn, 82.29% for soybean, and 63.21% for wheat. For water content estimation, canola showed an R 2 of 18.02%, corn showed an R 2 of 68.41%, soybean showed an R 2 of 46.38%, and wheat showed an R 2 of 64.58%. The result reveals that the proposed low-cost sensor with an appropriate regression model can be used to determine N content. However, further investigation is needed to improve the water estimation results using the proposed device.

The aim of this study was to know the relation between the grain yield and its components in order to identify the most important attributes in grain yield prediction which would serve as a criterion for the selection of genotypes growing under semi-arid conditions. Fifteen genotypes were studied composed of 11 advanced lines, 03 local landraces and 01 introduced genotype used as controls. Analysis of variance, simple linear correlation multiple linear regression, stepwise multiple linear regression, path analysis, principal component analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis were used to evaluate six traits including grain yield, plant height, days to heading, number of grains spike-1, number of spikes m-2 and thousand kernels weight. Analysis of variance showed that genotype effect was significant for the majority of traits studied (p=0.001), advanced line G10 was shown to be most performing (4.723 t ha-1). Simple linear regression revealed that the number of grains spike-1, number of spikes m-2 and thousand kernels weight contributed significantly in grain yield changes (R2=43, 17%). Path analysis showed that the number of grains spike-1, number of spikes m-2 and thousand kernels weight had a direct and significant effect on grain yield. Principal component analysis showed that thousand kernels weight and negative days to heading were most important factors traits in grain yield. According to these results number of grains spike-1 and thousand kernels weight were crucial for the majority of static analysis.

This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of competence, independence, professionalism, auditor experience, accountability, and auditor's knowledge of audit quality. This study uses a questionnaire with a population and sample, namely all auditors who work at the Public Accounting Office (KAP) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Surakarta. Sampling techniques using Convenience Sampling with a sample of 61 respondents. The data used in this study is a questionnaire using a Likert scale 1 to 5. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression using the SPSSprogram for Windows. The analysis tool in this study using validity and reliability, the classical assumption (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test) while the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2).Based on the results of the t-test analysis performed, it shows that there is a positive influence of competence, independence, professionalism, auditor experience, accountability, and auditor's knowledge of audit quality and simultaneously competency, independence, professionalism, auditor experience, accountability, and auditor knowledge variables affect quality audit

In this work, the abilities of near-infrared diffuse reflectance (NIR) and transmittance (NIT) spectroscopy to noninvasively determine the protein, fat, and water contents of plastic-wrapped homogenized meat are evaluated. One hundred homogenized beef samples, ranging from 1 to 23% fat, wrapped in polyamide/polyethylene laminates, were used. Results of multivariate calibration and prediction for protein, fat, and water contents are presented. The optimal test set prediction errors (root mean square error of prediction, RMSEP), obtained with the use of the principal component regression method with NIR data, were 0.45, 0.29 and 0.50 weight % for protein, fat, and water, respectively, for plastic-wrapped meat (compared to 0.40, 0.28 and 0.45 wt % for unwrapped meat). The optimal prediction errors for the NIT method were 0.31, 0.52 and 0.42 wt % for protein, fat, and water, respectively, for plastic-wrapped meat samples (compared to 0.27, 0.38, and 0.37 wt % for unwrapped meat). We can conclude that the addition of the laminate only slightly reduced the abilities of the NIR and NIT method to predict protein, fat, and water contents in homogenized meat.

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover, operational cost ratio, inventory turnover on the performance of UD. Firmansyah. The data used are the financial statements for the period 2015-2018. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The number of samples used was 48 samples. Partially the results show that working capital turnover and inventory turnover do not have a significant effect on company performance, while the ratio of operating costs has a significant effect on company performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously the research shows that working capital turnover, operational cost ratio, and inventory turnover have a significant effect on company performance. The coefficient of determination in this study is 0.165, which means that 16.5% of the company's performance can be explained by working capital turnover, operational cost ratio, and inventory turnover variables. At the same time, the remaining 83.5% is explained by other factors not included in this study.
