Modern state dendroflora of «Yuzhny» park and the possible ways of reconstruction

The examination of dendroflora of «Yuzhny» Park in the city of Voronezh is made. The spe-cies composition of the vegetation and coenotic composition, the current state of tree and shrub species and plantings of the park are defined, their decorativeness is evaluated. Modern dendroflora of the park is presents by 41 species, hybrids and forms of trees and shrubs belonging to 29 genera of 16 families. Large number of dead trees, indicating the absence of proper care for plants and increased anthropo-genic and technogenic load.

The city of Ternopil is one of the regional centers of Ukraine, the rate of landscaping which is one of the highest. Among the plantations of the city with a large area (22,0 hectares) stands out the park of Taras Shevchenko, located on the banks of the Ternopil pond. V.M. Chernyak, V.O. Burma, I.O. Pyatkivsky, R.B. Dudyn, P.P. Tsaryk, S.M. Pidkhovna and others studied the flora of the city of Ternopil and the region. The dendroflora of the park includes 55 taxa of trees, shrubs and vines, which belong to 38 genera and 24 families. The most numerous in terms of number of representatives are the families Rosaceae and Pinaceae. The total number of woody plants is 1836 specimens. The park is significantly dominated by deciduous trees and shrubs (82%). In general, trees make up 77%, of which conifers – 12,4%. All woody plants of the park are phanerophytes, and mesophanerophytes dominate – 62%. In relation to light, light-loving species predominate (68%). 51% of plants are cold-resistant and only 19% are heat-loving. Most of the park's plants are resistant to environmental pollution (only 10% are not gas-resistant). The results of the study of plants in relation to fertility and soil moisture indicate favorable conditions for their growth and development, as most of them show medium and high demands on habitat conditions: 69% are meso- and mesohygrophytes and 56% – megatrophs. Based on the sanitary assessment of the plantations, it was found that about 8,5% of the park's plants have various damages: frost cracks, core rot, coppice, hollows. 8 dead trees were found, 32 specimens need sanitary pruning. 17 plants are recommended for removal for various reasons.

The aim of the study to analyze the development and modern state of the gardens and parks of the former iron mines at Kryvorizhzhya. During 2013-2017, nine objects of landscape and park at Kryvorizhzhya were explored. Among them were: 1) seven operating parks («Ternivskyi», «Shakhtarskyi», «Zatyshnyi», Suvorov sports park, park near the Palace of Culture of mine «Rodina», «Saksahanskyi», «Rudanivskyi»), one abandonment park in the exclusion zone (Park of mine «Hvardiiska»), one garden of hotel «Park House» (private property). Initially, a historical description of the above objects of landscaping, as well as their structural and functional organization was presented. In the future, in the field conditions, by the route method, the present state of the gardens and parks was investigated and the general level of development of their shoots and shrubs was determined. System creation of gardens and parks on the territory of former iron mines of Kryvorizhzhya began in the 30's of the 20th century, and became massive in the 50's and 60's of the twentieth century. After 80 years of the 20th century there was a change in their owners, a decrease in their social status and the cessation of necessary expenses for their maintenance. At the beginning of the XXI century, among the gardens and parks of the former iron mines of Kryvorizhzhya, in the best condition is the Garden of the Hotel «Park House», which incorporates modern garden and park technology. Now the parks «Shakhtarskyi» and «Saksahanskyi» have the official status – the district parks of the city. The park «Ternivskyi» has the informal status of the main park of the neighborhood. That's why all these parks are actively used, and their territory is relatively well-groomed. Simultaneously others Parks («Zatyshnyi», near the Palace of Culture of mine «Rodina» and «Rudanivskyi») turned out to be less popular for visitors and less for owners. Therefore, their area and plantations - only partially well-groomed. Suvorov sports park, as well as Park of mine «Hvardiiska» are most de-structured. Therefore, their territory is practically unhealthy and the species composition of trees and shrubs degrades. In general, the current state of the gardens and parks of the former iron mines of Kryvorizhzhya depends on «social demand», the degree of their remoteness from residential areas and containment technologies. The obtained results can be used during the development and substantiation of the system of measures for optimization of existing and designing of new garden and park plantings in industrial regions. In further research it is expedient to analyze the environmental conditions of the gardens and parks of the former iron mines of Kryvorizhzhya, as well as the floristic composition and the condition of woody-shrub species. In addition, it makes sense to expand the list of these mines and explore the gardens and parks of inactive mines to them May 1 and Ingulets.

The architecture of the city of Samara of the XIX century, made on exemplary projects. The formation of the architectural environment of the city is investigated. A detailed analysis of the current state of the buildings of Samara, executed on model projects, was carried out. On the example of several monuments, their typical history of reorganizations and changes is considered. On the basis of archival research and analysis of the current state of development, features and decorative solutions of buildings are revealed. The results of the successful study of a successful past, analyze the present, which helps to prepare the basic principles of successful restoration and renovation of historic buildings.

<p>The purpose of our work is to assess the health state of woody plants growing in different habitats of the city of Aktobe. We have studied the health state of arboreal and shrubby plants growing in various urban habitats; the survey was conducted during 2016-2017 by route-visual method. We performed the analysis of species diversity, abundance and density in urban area. The assessment of health state of the trees was made according to V.A. Alekseev. From your data and literature review we established that such species as Ulmus pinnato-ramosa, Acer negundo, Populus tremula, Populus nigra, and Syringa vulgaris have strong winter resistnce in the territory of Aktobe; we registered that only their apex buds and emds of the shoots were frozen in severe winters. The medium-resistant speices include Ulmus laevis and Acer platonoides. They are less plastic and suffer from late spring and early autumn frosts. The Amorpha fruticosa, Vitis vinifera, and Parthenocissus guinguefolia could be considered as the non-resistant species, since they usually freeze up to the snow cover line. The analysis of the vital state made it possible to assess the resistance to urban conditions of the majority of trees and shrubs registered in urban habitats of Aktobe. According to the preliminary data, the origin of the plant and its winter resistance are of main importance when introducing new species to urban area.</p>

An agreement of cooperation and transmission of knowledge regarding the nomination for the European Green Capital Award (EGCA) was signed between the mayors of Belgrade and Ljubljana (EGCA 2016 winner) in September 2018. The candidacy of Belgrade was finally realized in October 2019. Great hope was placed in this endeavour because internationally recognized awards, such as the EGCA, represent enormous capital for both the city and the state. The EGCA requires serious preparation and significant fulfilment of preconditions. Many economically strong and environmentally responsible cities competed for the award, but did not win. On the other hand, the capital of Serbia does not appear to be an obvious winning candidate, especially as it is differentiated from the previous winners by being a non-EU city and by the fact that it is still undergoing an intense urban transformation, characteristic of transitional countries. Therefore, the main aim of this article is to present a review of the current state of Belgrade’s environmental qualities and its comparison with the EGCA criteria and with Grenoble as one of the winning competitors. The article gives a full overview of the EGCA requirements with certain details on required indicators, gives relevant insight into the procedure, which could be of use for any future candidacy, and discusses potential benefits for winners, losers and repeat candidacies.

The article deals with one of the most relevant topics of the modern city and ecology - the problem of landscaping in Volgograd. The city is characterized by an industrial urbanism, with a high concentration of population, saturation of production facilities and vehicles, which contributes to a high level of negative impact on the environment. The pace of greening of the city lags behind the pace of construction of the residential sector, and the existing green spaces do not meet the sanitary and hygienic, aesthetic requirements. The prospects of this problem are determined, the existing green spaces are considered, data on the climatic conditions of the city and the ecological situation are given. Improvement in the field of landscaping is associated with the scientifically sound placement of green spaces, taking into account all the factors that affect the growth and development of plants in the urban environment. Unfortunately, due to the uneven distribution of the assortment of trees and shrubs, the species composition of the central streets and squares of the city is extremely poor. The study focuses on the role of the botanical garden in urban landscaping and aims to create recommendations for the sorting of tree and shrub plants for urban landscaping. As a result of the analysis of the assortment of ornamental plants of the open ground of the botanical garden, the article proposed species and varieties of woody and shrubby plants that have passed the introduction tests for more than 5-10 years. Recommendations for sorting are aimed at improving the ecological situation of the city and greening the recreation areas of citizens. The proposed list of tree and shrub species cannot fully solve the problem of greening the city, but it will help to significantly enrich the composition of tree and shrub plants.

В статье рассматривается специфика бытования музыкального фольклора теленгитов селения Язула Улаганского района Республики Алтай в условиях транзитивности (по материалам полевых исследований 2003 и 2019 гг.). Музыкальный фольклор теленгитов обособленного селения характеризуется полистадиальностью, «вероятностной» (поливекторной, нелинейно меняющейся) природой развития, увеличением культурного разнообразия и трансформацией моноязычной культурной среды в многоязычную в лингвистическом, музыкальном и бытовом планах. Каналами инокультурного влияния на интонационное поле теленгитской музыкальной традиции сегодня выступают радио, Интернет и телевидение, сельский клуб, доступная транспортная связь с городом, международные курултаи сказителей . При расширении сферы бытования различных форм фольклоризма (советского, российского, алтайского) песенная фольклорная традиция теленгитов продолжает существовать исключительно в обрядовом контексте (закрыто от глаз приезжих). Владение каем - особым типом интонирования, характерным для тюрков Горного Алтая, маркирующим их этнокультурную идентичность, - востребовано сегодня со стороны туристов, региональной администрации и общественности, что ведет к миграции носителей этой традиции из обособленных селений в центральные. Трансформация искусства кая обусловлена единым процессом глобализации/глокализации, переходом от традиционного контекста бытования к сценическому фольклоризму, проникновением инокультурных интонационных форм в звуковой ландшафт теленгитских селений. This article focuses on the current state of Telengit music culture in Yazula Village (Ulagan Region, Republic of Altai) in conditions of transitivity. The material presented is based on field studies in 2003 and 2019. The Telengit musical folklore of this territorially isolated village is characterized by polystadiality; the “probabilistic,” non-linear nature of its development; by an increase of cultural diversity; and by the transformation of a monolingual environment into a multi-lingual one in linguistic, musical and ontological terms. Channels for outside cultural influence on the intonational field of the Telengit musical tradition include: radio, television, the Internet, the local club, transportation to the city; and International Kurultai of storytellers. In the presence of different forms of folklore (Soviet, Russian, Altaian) performed in the village club, the village folksong tradition continues to live on exclusively in a ritual context (inaccessible to outsiders). The mastery of kai as a specific type of intonation, typical for the Turks of Gorny Altai, that marks their ethnocultural identity, is in demand today by tourists, regional administrations and the public. This leads to the migration of carriers of this tradition out of isolated settlements into more central ones. The transformation of the art of kai in modern Telengit culture is conditioned by the process of globalization/glocalization; by the change of kai’s function in a traditional context to that of staged folklorism; and by the penetration of other cultural intonational forms into the soundscape of Telengit villages.

We present the study results of modern dendroflora of Donetsk (a large industrial city of the south steppe zone). We have determined the species composition, analyzed the age structure of plantations, estimated the life condition of trees and shrubs. Plantations compose 76 species and 32 forms, types, sorts of trees, including 11 species and 9 sorts of the coniferous, as well as 79 species and 35 forms, sorts of shrubs, including 7 species and 19 sorts of the coniferous. Trees and shrubs belong to 78 genera, which are included into 38 families. The most represented family among the deciduous is Rosaceae Juss. - 46 species and 13 sorts, among the coniferous - Pinaceae Lindl. (9 species and 6 sorts), Cupressaceae Rich. ex Bartl. (7 species and 22 sorts). Tree species dominating in plantations are Populus bolleana Lauche (14,6% of the total number of trees), dominating shrubs are the sorts of Rosa hybrida (44,0% of the total number of shrubs). In the plantations studied we have indicated 33 species of trees and shrubs of the aboriginal fraction of local flora. Analysis of the age structure of plantations revealed that the majority of trees compose the age group of 20-29 years, the majority of shrubs - up to 10 years. Fast-growing species prevail in plantations (73% of the total number). Viability of the most part of trees of fast-growing and slow-growing species is estimated by 4 points, viability of moderate-growing species - by 6 points. The number of trees being in unsatisfactory condition (0 or 1-3 points) prevails among fast-growing species.

This paper analyzes the current state of landscaping in Ishim. The data on the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of woody plants have been obtained for the first time; the assessment of trees and shrubs state is based on the analysis of the vitality index. A database of green plants within 21 objects in Ishim was created and analyzed. The paper also contains data on the species diversity of trees and shrubs in Ishim. It turned out that the objects under study have trees and shrubs placed in special dividing strips, linearly, in rows or in small compact groups, less often they are planted singly. The species composition is represented by 47 species from 28 genera, 16 families and 2 divisions. The biomorphological structure is represented by trees (25, or 53% of species) and shrubs (22, or 47% of species). The total composition of tree and shrub plantations, determined by the number of trunks (bushes) and the percentage of woody plants, is 2854; the composition of the preserved ones is 2 815 (99%) pieces; the ones assigned for removal are 39 (1%) pcs. The vitality index shows that among 85% of the studied objects of the town at the time of the survey were healthy, among 10% of the objects they were qualified as damaged, among 5% of them were severely damaged. Based on the results of examining crowns and trunks of woody plants, signs of diseases and pests, a plan of measures for the treatment, restoration and preservation of woody plants was drawn up and recommendations were given for caring, sanitary felling and removal of single specimens.

This article presents the results of studies the soils of urban parks, gardens, roadside zones in the core of the agglomeration of Baku. The urban soils were studied as indicators of the ecological status of the city of Baku. The impact of soil condition on the green areas in seven districts of Baku has been evaluated.
