Autism is neural development disorder which complex and is characterized by difficulties in social interaction, communication, emotion and limited behaviour, repetitive and stereotyped characters. The development of people with autism experienced a very significant increase. Autistic fine motoric development of children with autism is done through the hands by using tools or creative media such as brushes, pencils, paper, scissors, clay, plastisin, foam, and others. One way to improve fine motor in autistic children is to play mobile robot therapy. Mobile robots media is an activity to control and regulate the movement of the robot that involves and requires coordination between the eyes, hands, and concentration. It is necessary to approach and use mobile robot in the effectiveness of play therapy in children with autism. Mobile robot as a medium that becomes a play therapy tool with mobile robot capability that can move and move from one place to another by following the pattern of lines that have been designed. The main purpose of this research is to design creativity according to the level of complexity of mobile robot use for children with autism. Besides the use of mobile robot as a medium of play therapy there is also analysis in research using Pre experimental design. Population in the sampling amounted to 20 children. Autistic children who become samples aged between 6 years to 12 years in Special School Kids Pekanbaru. Data collection to study the fine motor of autistic children, collected data analysed by descriptive analysis and Rank Wilcoxon test. The result of the research is a reciprocal relationship which means there is a difference of reciprocal relationship before and after the approach of using mobile robot in play therapy to improve fine motor in autistic children.

AbstractIn Indonesia, abaut 16% of children under five year’s experience developmental delays in fine motor skills. A lack of stimulation causes the delay by the playing media. A Puzzle game is one of the games, which is beneficial to stimulate fine motor skills To find out the effect of puzzle play therapy on the fine motor development of preschool children. A literature review of Quasy Eksperiment studies was used. The searching prpces for articles using the PubMed, Garuda Portal, and Google Schoolar  database. Articles were selected that matched the inclusion criteria and appraised using DISCREN instrument. There were five articles included in this study. Two studies used the Denver II to measure fine motor skills, Whereas three used the KPSP instrument ( Indonesia child developmental and monitoring screening). Those studies were analyzed by using either the Wilcoxon test or t-test. All studies concluded a similisr result thst puzzle play therapy has a significant effect on preschool children’s motor development. AbstractNineteen autistic children were examined in a modified version of Ainsworth's Strange Situation. The attachment security of 15 children could be classified. Each of these children displayed disorganized attachment patterns, but almost half (40%) of them were subclassified as securely attached. To assess the validity of the attachment classifications, children and their mothers were observed in a separate interaction. Mothers of children who were subclassified as securely attached displayed greater sensitivity than mothers of children who were subclassified as insecurely attached. Children who were subclassified as securely attached more frequently initiated social interaction with their mothers than did children who were subclassified as insecurely attached. Children with secure and insecure subclassifications were compared to investigate correlations between attachment organization and representational ability and social-emotional understanding. Although children with underlying secure attachments were no more likely to initiate joint attention, they were more responsive to bids for joint attention, made requests more frequently, and demonstrated greater receptive language ability than children subclassified as insecurely attached. Discussion focuses on dynamics that may contribute to individual differences in the attachment organization of autistic children and on the reciprocal relationship between advances in our understanding of normal and pathological development.

Generally, children with autism have development disorders in many areas such as development delay in the physical aspect. Therefore, western researchers on children with autism have designed and applied interventions and therapies such as exercise therapies, play therapies, and other approaches to improve the children’s physical capabilities and increase their overall function and physical participation. The data obtained showed the points of saturation and were obtained in accordance with the literature. The results were examined according to themes and sub-themes. The results show that Yayasan Faqeh has been using two approaches, which are exercise therapy and play therapy, that integrate the western and Islamic approaches for autistic children’s physical development. The interview record with the four teachers indicate that the autistic children have shown improvement in their physical development. Knowledge is needed for children with special needs to support their quality of life. This is a challenge for prospective educators / prospective teachers. A deeper knowledge is needed to really understand children with special needs. This research is carried out to develop a skill simulator application for autistic child’s prospective educator using Virtual Reality technology. This application will be used as a teaching medium which incorporates motion sensor tools. The sensors will make the virtual application looks realistic. The application was developed using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The application development begins with discovering the characteristic of autistic children. This is done to formulate the learning materials. The knowledge base of the autistic children was obtained from the Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). By using the obtained knowledge, storyboard was designed and implemented. The developed application has been evaluated by 16 prospective child educators with autism and two professional experts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This study aims to determine the parent's interpersonal communication process to autistic children in the city of Bandung. To answer the purpose of the study, the researcher established a sub focus on verbal communication, nonverbal communication, and inhibiting factors. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive studies where the informants involved in this study amounted to five people consisting of four key informants as parents and one informant supporting child psychologists as supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that the process of interpersonal communication carried out between parents and children with autism is not like communicating with normal children and is difficult to communicate so that it can be understood by children with autism. Verbal communication done with autism must be clear, firm, concise and also by using the image method, as well as the words of the commands given for the independence of autistic children. Nonverbal communication is carried out with movements when parents give a prohibition to children by using the movement of the index finger that is raised and then shaken, they will immediately stop doing that and understand that it is prohibited. Inhibiting factors in communicating with children with autism are difficulty in making eye contact, lack of response given, speech difficulties experienced by autistic children, and disturbances in the sensory field.
