Black pomfret is one of the many fish species found in the southern sea. Pomfret has high economic value and is an active swimmer that has fast growth rate, resistant to disease, and easy to maintain. The purpose of this research was to know the structure of anatomy and histology of black pomfret’s kidney. Histological slides were made using paraffin method and stain with Hematoxylin-Eosin. The results showed that kidney of black pomfret have a soft texture, and the colour is red degradation brown. Histologically, the kidney is found a glomerolous, tubules and lymphoid tissues.

Dumbo catfish (Clarias gariepinus) and Gabus (Channa striata) have additional organ respiratory system structures in the gills, called labyrinth. This organ is a tool for fish to take oxygen directly from the air so that it can live in low oxygen habitats. Both fish have differences at the Order level. Catfish is an order of Siluriformes as Gabus is an order of Perciformes. The purpose of this study was to distinguish the anatomy and histology of the gill structure and labyrinth in both fish. The macroanatomy observation was conveyed by dissection to determine the gill topography in the two fish species. Histology preparations were carried out using the paraffin method and using Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining that showed in the labyrinth organ there were many blood vessels to bind oxygen then distributed to all parts of the fish's body.

Uceng fish is wild native fish of Indonesia that live in fresh water river. It is very common that people consume the fish for it high protein contain. High demand of fish availability cause the fish exploitation increasing rapidly in nature. The high intensity of fish exploitation, soon will induce declining population of the fish and leading to extinction. Uceng fish cultivation is one alternative to solve the tread. The purpose of this research is to examine the Gonadosomatic Index (GSI) and gonad histological structure of male and female uceng fish (Nemacheilus fasciatus) on the period of immature and mature. Fish were dissected , weighed and the gonads were measured for gonadosomatic index. Moreover, gonad were fixed in NBF 5% for histological preparation by paraffin method and which than were stained by Hematoxylin-Eosin. The result were analyzed for both qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis was conducted for gonad histological structure of male and female fish, while quantitative analysis was for Gonadosomatic Index (GSI) of fish respectively. The result showed that there were differences on the gonadosomatic index of males and females fish, the histological structure of ovarian follicle and the composition of the spermatogenic cells of immature gonads and mature gonads of the fish respectively. It was conclude that there are differences on Gonadosomatic Index and gonad histological structure on immature and mature of male and female of Uceng fish (N. fasciatus).

Black pomfret and nile tilapia are belonging to order Perciformes. Both fish are live in different habitat. Black pomfret is marine water whereas nile tilapia is in freshwater. The purpose of the study was to determine anatomy and histology of the kidneys structures in both fishes. Histological preparations were done using paraffin method, with <em>Hematoxylin-Eosin</em> (HE) staining. The results, showed that Black pomfret and nile tilapia have y-shape kidney. Nile tilapia has darker red colour and softer texture than black pomfret kidney. Histologically, black pomfret and nile tilapia kidneys have a distal tubule, proximal tubule, glomerulus and lymphoid tissue. Glomerular diameter of nile tilapia (69,22 µm) was larger than pomfret (61,25 µm). It can be concluded that differences between anatomical and histological structure of kidney are affected by habitat differences.

Caffeine affects activity of enzyme of polimerase DNA, induce the mitosis of cells mammal of before replication DNA ended the perfection, and also pursue the activity of enzyme fosfodiesterase is hence anticipated by a potential caffeine generate the developmental defect, for example can pursue the process of ossification endochondralis in growth plate. This present research studied the effect of caffeine gift by oral on pregnant dam during organogenesis to structure of histologi growth plate tibia foetus. Twenty four pregnant mice (6 per group) were treated by gavage with 0 (control), 40, 80, 120 mg/kg b.w caffeine from gestation day 6 to 15. On day 18 of pregnancy, fetuses was removed from dams by caecarean section.. Observation of histological structure of the tibial growth plate preparation by paraffin method (Hematoxylin-Eosin staining). The result showed that caffeine cause slightened proliferative zone, maturation zone, and cartilage calcification zone on the mouse tibial growth plate.

<em>A study was done to search the composition and abundance of fish species in the waters of the Doreri Gulf the District of Manokwari, from September - October 2005.  The fish catchments wash about 143 specimens consist of 49 species included in 23 families.  The species of fish with a high abundance index consists of Nemipterus celebicus, Upeneus sundaicus, and Upeneus sulphureus.  Those fishes have a high economic value in the market of Manokwari</em>

Biological information, behaviour and suitable habitat of water monitor was very less in order to support its maintenance management and breeding efforts. One of important information is the information of digestive tract, particularly the information about the structure of intestine tissue of water monitor. Sample in this research was intestine organ of water monitor. The animal was anesthetized, exanguinated, and fixed in paraformaldehyde 4% by tissue perfusion method. The intestine tissue sample for histological section with paraffin method was cutted with 3-4 μm thick and coloured with hematoxylin eosin (HE). Observation were performed to the structure of intestine histology. The results was analysed descriptively and presented in figures. Monitor lizard intestine consist of small intestine and large intestine. The small intestinal wall was observed similar to jejunum and ileum. The large intestinal wall was composed of transitional ephytelia and connective tissue. However, the ephytelial layer in this tissue was composed of transitional ephytelia that similar to vesica urinaria and there are no villi.

The cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa L.) produces an estimated 545 chemical compounds of different biogenetic classes. In addition to economic value, many of these phytochemicals have medicinal and physiological activity. The plant is most popularly known for its two most-prominent and most-studied secondary metabolites—Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). Both Δ9-THC and CBD have a wide therapeutic window across many ailments and form part of a class of secondary metabolites called cannabinoids—of which approximately over 104 exist. This review will focus on non-cannabinoid metabolites of Cannabis sativa that also have therapeutic potential, some of which share medicinal properties similar to those of cannabinoids. The most notable of these non-cannabinoid phytochemicals are flavonoids and terpenes. We will also discuss future directions in cannabis research and development of cannabis-based pharmaceuticals. Caflanone, a flavonoid molecule with selective activity against the human viruses including the coronavirus OC43 (HCov-OC43) that is responsible for COVID-19, and certain cancers, is one of the most promising non-cannabinoid molecules that is being advanced into clinical trials. As validated by thousands of years of the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes, vast anecdotal evidence abounds on the medicinal benefits of the plant. These benefits are attributed to the many phytochemicals in this plant, including non-cannabinoids. The most promising non-cannabinoids with potential to alleviate global disease burdens are discussed.

Continuous genetic selection and improvement in nutrition have led to a very fast growth rate in modern strains of broiler chickens. Metabolic disorders such as ascits, sudden death syndrome and leg problems are related to a rapid early growth rate in poultry, especially in broilers, and their incidence can be decreased by slowing early growth. The use of management tools to reduce metabolic disorders that rely primarily on decreasing feed consumption, The feed restriction programs is on of the main techniques in growth curve manipulation for increasing production efficiency in broiler chicken in alleviate the incidence of some metabolic disorders and can be used to reduction the unfavorable effects of fast growth rate in broiler chicken production industry, and could be profitable in broiler chickens production efficiency. This article implicated on new findings in about different feed restriction programs effects on these problems in broiler chickens.

Abstract Efficient supplementary feeding will utilize not only the feed added to the pond, but also natural food. Feeding improves the growth rate of fish in a pond only when the fish are food limited. Natural foods may provide all of the necessary nutrition for normal growth of small fish, and if growth begins to decline at a larger size, supplementary feeding should yield higher growth rates. One experiment compared the use of fertilizer alone, feed alone, and a combination of feed and fertilizer for growth and production of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Ponds receiving feed and fertilizer had higher growth rates than ponds with feed alone, and both showed considerably higher growth rate than ponds with fertilizer alone. Feeding was necessary to grow fish to a size of over 200 g in a reasonable amount of time. A second experiment tested the possibility that feeding at reduced ration and allowing the consumption of natural food might give a comparable growth rate to feeding alone. In this experiment, full satiation ration, 75% satiation ration, or even 50% satiation ration resulted in similar mean weights at harvest, about 400 g after 150 days. These results indicate that it may be efficient to simply feed the fish at about half of their maximum ration and allow them to eat natural food for the other half of their growth, if the pond is managed well. Economic analysis showed that fertilization resulted in $1,891 ha-1 year-1 of profit, feed only lost almost $3,000 ha-1 year-1, 75% feeding lost $258, 50% feeding yielded $1,765 ha-1 year-1, and 25% feeding yielded $155 ha-1 year-1. If the growth rate were linearly extrapolated until the fish reached 500 g and were then harvested, the 75% feeding would yield $4,835 ha-1 year-1 and the 50% feeding $5,865 ha-1 year-1. A third experiment was conducted to evaluate the timing when first feeding should occur. In this case, fish in ponds were fed once they reached 50, 100, 150, 200 or 250 g in size. The fish grew similarly before they were fed, and then grew again similarly after feeding, with a growth rate under fertilization of about 1 g day-1, and a growth rate under feeding of about 3 g day-1. Fish fed first at 50 or 100 g reached the same ultimate size by the end of the experiment and had similar production levels. Fish first fed at 150 or 200 g also showed similar results and, finally, fish fed at 250 g never reached the targeted size. These results indicate that it is most efficient to wait until the fish reach 100 g before commencing artificial feeding. Economic evaluation showed an annual net profit of $3,700 ha-1 year-1 when the fish were fed first at 50 g, $6,160 at 100 g, $4,800 at 150 g, $1,800 at 200 g and $3,600 at 250 g. Clearly, efficient feeding systems produce higher incomes than less efficient systems, and fertilization alone, if the fish reach a targeted size that has a higher economic value.
