 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi publik yang dilakukan oleh Humas Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) dalam membangun pemahaman mahasiswa IPB terhadap penerapan PTNBH. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada Kabid Humas IPB dan Ketua Bem IPB, observasi dan studi pustaka .Teori yang digunakan adalah Kontruksi Atas Realitas, teori Stakeholder, teori  Relationship Management dan konsep Komunikasi Publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pihak IPB mengkonstruksi esensi dari PTNBH yaitu otonomi, keleluasaan dalam penyelenggaraan rumah tangganya untuk menghasilkan pendidikan yang bermutu, ke dalam program-program yang dapat mendukung kemajuan mahasiswa. IPB dapat membangun hubungan menejerial yang alamiah dengan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi komunikasi publik yang dilakukan lembaga dapat membentuk kesepahaman dalam upaya menjaga relasi yang saling menguntungkan antara pengelola atau menejemen IPB/PTNBH dengan mahasiswa.  Kata kunci:  PTNBH, Strategi, Komunikasi publik, Otonomi  The purpose of the research is to analyse the strategy of public communication implemented by Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) in developing comprehension of its students towards PTNBH implementation. Method used is qualitative with case study approach. Deep interview is done with Public Relations Head of IPB and Head of BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa or Students Executive Board). In addition, this research involves observation and literature study. Theories used in this research are social construct of reality, stakeholder theory, relationship management, and public communication. Result shows that IPB has constructed the PTNBH’s essence of autonomy, freedom in managing its own administration of high quality education, programs in supporting students’ activities. IPB has the capabilities of developing a natural managerial connection with its students. The result also shows that public communication strategy implemented by institution would be able to create understanding and beneficial relationship between administrator/management of IPB and its students.  Keywords: PTNBH, Strategy, Public communication, Autonomy.

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in the field of Public Relations (HUMAS) of the Republic of Indonesia Television Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP TVRI) Jambi. A strategy is needed by TVRI Jambi as times change where the interest of television viewers is decreasing due to competition from both private television and new media. The audience follows a style that has value. Therefore it is necessary to have a Public Relations in order to expand public knowledge about what programs exist at TVRI in order to increase the existence of TVRI Jambi. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection methods used in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study the authors found that the Public Relations Strategy in promoting TVRI Jambi programs to improve the quality of TVRI programs in the eyes of the public to better understand and know broadcasts on TVRI Jambi therefore Public Relations itself uses a communication strategy Public relations strategy, communication, advertising , sales promotion, publicity , corporate design The problems of Public Relations in promoting LPP TVRI programs in Jambi, weak human resources, PR efforts in promoting LPP TVRI Jambi programs in collaborating with other agencies.

 The potency of the water tourism object in Riam Kanan reservoir is not well known by both domestic and foreign tourists because the communication strategy program has not been maximized by the local government. An important factor in raising the image of ecotourism is the communication strategy policy in order to promote it to a wide audience. Communication strategy is a combination of communication planning and communication management to achieve a goal. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques that researchers use are field research and literature study. The results showed that the communication strategy carried out by the Department of Tourism and Culture of Banjar Regency in enhancing the ecotourism image of the Riam Kanan reservoir has followed the procedure as in communication theories, namely establishing communicators. setting targets, compiling communication messages and, selecting media and channels communication. The media used include outdoor media, small format media, print media, electronic media, internet and social media as well as other public communication channels.

Public Relations has an important role in solving crisis problems. In the midst of the crisis caused by Covid-19, Public Relations of the Bandung City government needs to carry out its roles, duties and functions to carry out the strategy for handling the Covid-19 crisis. This research uses a literature study approach by collecting data or sources related to the topic raised in the research, as well as reviewing various literatures, both in the form of note and book. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The result shows that the Bandung City Government Public Relations crisis communication strategy in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, in the early stages of the crisis, is to form knowledge about the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in the organization's internal environment through various communication media used by organizational members or in this case ASN and employees of the Bandung City Government. The next stage is to shape the perception of the people of Bandung City by providing message, information, and education about Covid-19, as well as socializing the policies and steps taken by the Bandung City Government in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic crisis to the people of Bandung. Then the last strategy is to restore image and reputation through improving the quality of communication between the government and the community, as well as carrying out media relations activities to publish positive news about COVID-19 handlers in the Bandung City.

Public Relations of the Bandung Regency Government realizes that its area has a lot of potential for various local wisdom and has a heterogeneous society. This study aims to explore and analyze the values of local knowledge in developing public relations strategies in the government of Bandung Regency, West Java province. This study uses a constructivist interpretive (subjective) paradigm through a case study approach. The results showed that the Bandung Regency Government runs its government based on local wisdom. Bandung Regency Public Relations utilizes local insight and the region's potential to develop a public relations strategy to build and maintain a positive image of Bandung Regency. The impact of this research is expected to become a source of new scientific references in the development of public relations strategies in every region of Indonesia, which is very rich with various philosophies.Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung menyadari wilayahnya memiliki banyak potensi kearifan lokal yang beragam, serta memiliki masyarakatnya yang heterogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali dan menganalisis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam pengembangan strategi kehumasan di pemerintahan Kabupaten Bandung provinsi Jawa Barat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif (subjektif) konstruktivis melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bandung menjalankan pemerintahannya berlandaskan pada kearifal lokal. Humas Pemkab Bandung memanfaatkan kearifan lokal dan potensi wilayahnya untuk mengembangkan strategi humas dalam membangun dan mempertahankan citra positif Kabupaten Bandung.Dampak penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sumber rujukan ilmiah baru dalam pengembangan strategi kehumasan di setiap daerah Indonesia yang sangat kaya dengan beragam filosofi.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengelolaan dimulai dari pencarian data dan fakta, perencanaan, pengaplikasian program, serta tahap evaluasi. Proses ini merupakan rangkaian dari pengaplikasian konsep four step public relations yang dijalankan oleh humas Kantor Wilayah Kementrian Agama Provinsi Jawa Barat, yaitu tahap fact finding, planning and programming, taking actions and communications, and evaluations. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme , pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, mengenai suatu lembaga atau organisasi dengan berupa fenomena yang ada dan terjadi nyata disuatu lembaga atau organisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menerangkan bahwa proses pengelolaan website menghasilkan data yang terbagi kedalam dua bagian yaitu fakta primer dan sekunder , setelah data didapatkan selanjutnya perencanaan program aplikasi yang memudahkan publik, lalu pengaplikasian program aplikasi seperti halnya E-MTQ, SIMKAH, dan lain-lain, tahap akhir yaitu evaluasi yang dilakukan seperti Rapat Koordinasi dengan Pemerintah Provinsi dan Kab/Kota. Kata Kunci :  Pengelolaan; Humas; Website       The purpose of this research is to find out the management process, Fact Finding, Planning and programming, Taking Actions and communications, and evaluation stages. This process is a series of applications of the four-step public relations concept run by the PR of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Java Province. Researchers also use a case study approach that is about an institution or organization in the form of phenomena that exist and occur real in an institution or organization. The results of this study explain that the website management process produces data which is divided into two parts, namely primary and secondary facts, after the data is obtained then the planning of application programs that facilitate the public, then application of application programs such as E-MTQ, SIMKAH, and others, the final stage is an evaluation conducted such as a Coordination Meeting with the Provincial and District / City Governments. Purpose This paper aims to investigate to what extent quality function deployment (QFD) can be used in quality improvement rather than design activities. Design/methodology/approach A framework was developed for implementation of QFD as a quality improvement tool. A case study approach is used to test this framework, and quality issues were analyzed using the framework in a ceramic tile manufacturing company. Findings The results showed considerable improvements in the critical quality characteristics identified and sales rates, demonstrating the potential of QFD to be used in assessing and prioritizing areas of improvement, and converting them into measurable process or product requirements. Research limitations/implications One case study was completed. More studies would be beneficial to support current findings. Practical implications This framework provides structured approach and guidelines for practitioners in adapting QFD for quality improvements in existing products or processes. Originality/value This study proposes a new framework to use QFD in quality improvement activities, expanding its application areas. Moreover, the results of the literature study performed provide a valuable collection of practical QFD implementation examples.

People in Jambi city assume that Pasar Hong Kong, a traditional market located in Jelutung sub-district, is “a Chinese market”, even some areas in the city of Jambi such as Jelutung, Koni, and Talang Banjar are dominated by the ethnic of Chinese. This research aims to explore how social inequality that occurs due to the advantages and disadvantages of an ethnic group so that it can affect individual attitudes that damage social capital. This research uses a case study approach with in-depth interviews and literature study as data collection techniques. The subjects of this study were ethnic Malay and Chinese female merchants in Pasar Hong Kong, Jambi city, Indonesia. This research found that social inequalities that occur among the female merchants of ethnic Malay and Chinese in Pasar Hongkong occur naturally, where both merchants and buyers have a high tolerance when interacting. Although sometimes there are differences in attitude when the merchants serve different ethnic buyers. The involvement of traditional leaders in managing social inequalities is very important due to the lack of assimilation among ethnic Malay and Chinese.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) metode identifikasi masalah Public Relations pada LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; (2) proses perencanaan dan pemrograman LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; (3) strategi aksi dan komunikasi LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; dan (4) proses evaluasi program LAZ Dompet Dhuafa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus eksploratif jenis single case holistic. Data primer dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, sementara data sekunder bersumber dari studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LAZ Dompet Dhuafa tidak melakukan riset khusus terkait perencanaan program; riset yang dilakukan hanya melalui fakta-fakta baru di lapangan melalui program-program yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Perencanaan program tematik dan nontematik LAZ Dompet Dhuafa dilakukan melalui rapat kerja tahunan, sementara pesan utama yang ingin disampaikan kepada pihak eksternal disampaikan melalui website resmi dan media sosial. Adapun evalusi program yang dilakukan tidak melibatkan publik eksternal. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Public Relations, zakat, Dompet Dhuafa ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine (1) the method of identifying problems of Public Relations at LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; (2) the planning and programming process of LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; (3) the strategy of action and communication of LAZ Dompet Dhuafa; and (4) the evaluation process of the LAZ Dompet Dhuafa program. This study uses a qualitative method with an explorative case study approach and single case holistic. The primary data in this study were obtained through in-depth interviews, while the secondary data were obtained from literature and documentation. The results of the study show that LAZ Dompet Dhuafa does not conduct specific research related to program planning; the research only carried out through new facts in the field through the pre-existing programs. The planning of thematic and non-thematic program is carried out through annual work meetings, while the main message to be conveyed to public (external) is delivered through the official website and social media. This study examines the political communication strategy carried out by Kiai as a boarding school caretaker in the General Election. The purpose of this study is to describe the political communication strategy carried out by Kiai Syafik Rofi'i, caretaker of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Bangkalan Regency, East Java Province in the 2019 General Election. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The results showed that the political communication strategy being implemented was political negotiation among kiai in Islamic boarding schools in Bangkalan Regency. In addition, political communication uses the strategy of a campaign winning team or success team, and also uses the media as a channel for delivering messages to provide understanding and influence public opinion.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to clarify business-to-business (B2B) firms’ strategies of social media marketing communication. The study aims to explore the factors contributing to the formation and adoption of integration strategies and identify who the B2B firms target.Design/methodology/approachA multiple case study approach is used to compare four multinational corporations and their practices. Face-to-face interviews with key managers, and extensive readings and observations of the firms’ websites and social media platforms have been conducted.FindingsThe study results in a model, illustrating different processes of selection, adoption and integration involved in the development of social media communication strategy for B2B firms. Major factors involved in determining the platform type, and strategies used within different phases and processes are identified.Research limitations/implicationsAs the chosen methodology may limit generalizability, further research is encouraged to test the model within a B2B context especially within small and medium enterprises as only large multinational corporations were investigated in this study.Practical implicationsThe paper provides insight into how B2B marketers can align social media with their firms’ goals through the strategic selection of platforms to reach the targeted audience and communicate their message.Originality/valueThe study uncovers the benefits gained by B2B firms’ through interaction with individuals on social media. This is a significant contribution as the value of such interaction was previously undefined and acted as a barrier for adopting social media in some B2B firms.
