Research from the role of the Department of Industry and Manpower in Purworejo Regency in an effort to protect the pre-placement of Indonesian migrant workers abroad aims to find out the role of the Department of Industry and Manpower in Purworejo Regency in an effort to protect pre-placement of Indonesian migrant workers abroad, to find out the obstacles experienced , and to find out the efforts made in overcoming these obstacles. The results of the study indicate that the role of the Department of Industry and Labor Purworejo Regency in an effort to protect the pre-placement of Indonesian migrant workers abroad is in accordance with applicable regulations. Although in the implementation of its role there have been several obstacles which these obstacles come from the Indonesian migrant workers in question. The Department of Industry and Manpower of Purworejo Regency makes efforts in overcoming the obstacles that arise when carrying out its role so that the implementation of its role can run smoothly. Keywords: Role of Local Government, Pre Protection of Placement of Indonesian Migrant Workers Abroad AbstrakPenelitian dengan judul peranan Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Purworejo dalam upaya perlindungan pra penempatan pekerja migran Indonesia di luar negeri ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Purworejo dalam upaya perlindungan pra penempatan pekerja migran Indonesia di luar negeri, untuk mengetahui hambatan yang dialami, serta untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Purworejo dalam upaya perlindungan pra penempatan pekerja migran Indonesia di luar negeri adalah sudah sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Walaupun dalam pelaksanaan perannya mengalami beberapa hambatan yang mana hambatan tersebut berasal dari pekerja migran Indonesia yang bersangkutan. Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Purworejo melakukan upaya-upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan yang timbul pada saat melaksanakan perannya sehingga pelaksanaan perannya dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Kata Kunci: Peranan Pemerintah Daerah, Perlindungan Prapenempatan Pekerja Migran Indonesia di Luar Negeri Abstract

This paper aims to critically examine the increasing role of community mediation in the post-conflict situation in Nepal. The practice of community mediation at the professional level is in a preliminary stage in Nepal. Regardingthe peace settlement process and the state of community mediation in different countries, various efforts have been made in Nepal regarding community mediation. The country is gradually advancing towards community mediation practices in ensuring access to justice. Community mediation has been practiced for resolving disputes or conflict through the judicial committees (JCs) formed under the local government. The practices of conflicts or disputes resolution through community mediation have begun in Nepal at the individual or family level, school or community level, or at workplace. It is, therefore, vital to prevent the recurrence of conflicts or disputes through community mediation to ensure sustainable peace. Various efforts have been made to build the capacity of individuals and agencies to settle disputes and to ensure mutual trust and cooperation in Nepal. In the changing context, confronting COVID 19, building awareness, providing education and training to the mediators for community mediation is vital to execute JC practice in Nepal. Community mediation as an important aspect in ensuring sustainable peace in the spirit of the local government act is, therefore, very essential in Nepal.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the placement and protection programs of Indonesian migrant worker that they run by the Ministry of Manpower and The National Agency of Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Worker. This research is done by observation, interview and documentation with Discrepancy Evaluation Model method. The method is to evaluate design, installation, process and the Implementation of the Placement and Protection programs of Indonesian migrant worker  against the Employment Placement Private Company to provide Indonesian Migrant Workers services licensed by the Ministry of Manpower and placement permits from The National Agency for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migran Workers, the role of local government on one-stop integrated service, the role of labor attaches in Indonesian embassy from the Ministry of Manpower and supervision of The Nasional Agency for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Worker. The conclusion of this study indicates that there is a gap in discrepancy at 16.01% from the target to be achieved.

<em>The development of sharia tourism has a multidimensional impact. One of them is employment and poverty alleviation, especially in Ponorogo, considering that is the 11th largest city contributing to Indonesian migrant workers. The development of the sharia tourism business is increasingly attractive, because the Ponorogo community is a pluralistic society, which embraces a variety of cultures, religions and creeds. So that the role of local government as a leading sector is needed to determine the planning and development of regional sharia tourism. For that we need the right strategy in the development of Islamic tourism in accordance with the characteristics of Ponorogo. In the formulation of the right strategy, data from Muslim, non-Muslim and local government communities is needed. The data is analyzed by the SWOT technique which is supported by internal and external factors. With the result has the potential in the development of sharia tourism considering there are still many natural tourism objects that have not been touched and developed by the community or local government. The development of Islamic tourism is approved by Muslim, non-Muslim communities, while maintaining their respective religious sites. The strategy generated from the SWOT analysis formed a map diagram of the development of sharia tourism business in Ponorogo.</em>

The issue of choosing the commune executive body is important both from a democratic, and a social point of view. In the theoretical-practical article, an attempt was made to: − cataloging the most important legal acts and other regulations focused on local government elections (from the perspective of choosing the commune executive body); − indication of changes in the electoral law made in 2018 that are the background to the practical part of the article − defining the role of local government as the organizer of local government elections among other entities involved in the preparation and conduct of the elections. In addition, using the example of the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza, organizations of local government elections were presented from the point of view of the selection of the commune executive body (in particular, its organizational aspect against the results)

Gaps in biodiversity conservation management within the Conservation Area that are the responsibility of the central government and outside the Conservation Areas or as the Essential Ecosystems Area (EEA) which are the authority of the Regional Government, have caused various spatial conflicts between wildlife /wild plants and land management activities. Several obstacles faced by the Local Government to conduct its authority to manage (EEA), caused the number and area of EEA determined by the Local Government to be still low. At present only 703,000 ha are determined from the 67 million ha indicated by EEA. This study aims to overview biodiversity conservation policies by local governments and company perceptions in implementing conservation policies and formulate strategies for optimizing the role of Local Governments. From the results of this study, there has not been found any legal umbrella for the implementation of Law number 23/ 2014 related to the conservation of important ecosystems in the regions. This regulatory vacuum leaves the local government in a dilemma for continuing various conservation programs. By using a SWOT to the internal strategic environment and external stratetegic environment of the Environment and Forestry Service, Bengkulu Province , as well as using an analysis of company perceptions of the conservation policies regulatary , this study has been formulated a “survival strategy” through collaboration between the Central Government, Local Governments and the Private Sector to optimize the role of Local Government’s to establish EEA in the regions.Keywords: Management gaps, Essential Ecosystems Area (EEA), Conservation Areas, SWOT analysis and perception analysis

Aboutness has been studied from any number of angles. Brentano made it the defining feature of the mental. Phenomenologists try to pin down the aboutness features of particular mental states. Materialists sometimes claim to have grounded aboutness in natural regularities. Attempts have even been made, in library science and information theory, to operationalize the notion. However, it has played no real role in philosophical semantics, which is surprising. This is the first book to examine through a philosophical lens the role of subject matter in meaning. A long-standing tradition sees meaning as truth conditions, to be specified by listing the scenarios in which a sentence is true. Nothing is said about the principle of selection—about what in a scenario gets it onto the list. Subject matter is the missing link here. A sentence is true because of how matters stand where its subject matter is concerned. This book maintains that this is not just a feature of subject matter, but its essence. One indicates what a sentence is about by mapping out logical space according to its changing ways of being true or false. The notion of content that results—directed content—is brought to bear on a range of philosophical topics, including ontology, verisimilitude, knowledge, loose talk, assertive content, and philosophical methodology. The book represents a major advance in semantics and the philosophy of language.

In this era, a lot of activities that can not be separated from the practice of cheating or fraud , no exception In the government . Inspektorat Sumenep is the leading institution of internal Local Government in preventing and detecting fraud in the Local Government appropiate Perbup Sumenep No. 29 of 2008 . Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep need attention on the issue . This is due to Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep an agency with the largest number of assets and managing large budgets . These conditions led to the formulation of the problem is How Inspektorat Sumenep role in preventing and detecting fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep. This study used a qualitative approach in which the focus of this study is Inspektorat role in preventing and detecting fraud at Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . Primary data obtained by direct interviews with the parties directly related to the determination of the source of research data in a qualitative study using nonprobability sampling . The sampling technique used was purposive sampling . The conclusion of this study, role of the Inspektorat Sumenep in the prevention of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep still not maximal . This is due to Inspektorat Sumenep not supervise from the planning / budgeting and not optimal in overseeing and assisting the implementation of the SPIP as an instrument of fraud prevention in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . The role of Inspektorat Sumenep in the detection of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep done by conducting an audit of financial and asset management in each financial year.Keywords: fraud, government, inspektorat.
