The purpose of this study is to describe the Obon celebration (Obon-matsuri) by Japanese society today. The data used are several literature on Obon and interviews with several informants, namely Japanese people who have or still do the Obon-matsuri ritual. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive. Data collection with library studies, observations, and interviews to explore deeply about the experiences of informants related to Obon in the past and present. In analyzing data, researchers used the qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study are indicate that the differences in Obon celebrations today with the previous period are: 1)  Fewer Japanese people, especially those living in cities, celebrate Obon. Obon as an opportunity for Japanese people to visit their parents/ grandparents or main family, and together with them celebrating Obon becomes increasingly rare or difficult to do; 2) As fewer Japanese people celebrate Obon with their main families, the activities of performing Obon rituals are increasingly rare. Meanwhile, two things that are still maintained from the past to the Obon celebration are: 1) Japanese society is still regularly doing ohakamairi, and 2) Obon is still interpreted and believed that during these days the spirits of ancestors return to their former homes.

The purpose of this study is to describe the culture of senpai-kohai in a Japanese society system that has a vertical structure. The data used are several literature on Japanese seniority system (senpai-kohai) and interviews with several informants. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive. Data collection with library studies, observations, and interviews to explore deeply about the experiences of informants related to seniority system in Japan. In analyzing data, researchers used the qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the culture of senpai-kohai in the lives of Japanese people is reflected in the educational environment, club or organizational environment, work environment, and family environment. In addition to the family environment, senpai-kohai relations are shown through the attitude and actions of a senior to help, maintain, and guide his junior. Conversely, juniors also must behave in accordance with the guidance, instructions, and orders of their seniors. In addition, juniors must also respect and respect their seniors through the use of polite language (keigo) and keep his words

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui konsep pembelajaran pendidikan moral di perguruan tinggi di Jepang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Tokyo Gakugei University. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif.  Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Pendidikan moral pada perguruan tinggi di Jepang bertujuan untuk membangun karakter warga negara muda untuk berpikir bagaimana caranya hidup dan bertindak atas dasar penilaian otonom dan hidup sebagai orang yang proaktif bersama dengan orang lain. Pendidikan moral menjadi alat dan media untuk mentrasformasikan nilai-nilai dasar filosofis masyarakat Jepang. Pendidikan moral dapat tercermin pada karakter keseharian masyarakat Jepang yang memiliki etos dan semangat kerja tinggi dalam menjalankan setiap profesinya-----This study aims to determine the concept of learning moral education in universities in Japan. This research is a qualitative research. The study was conducted at Tokyo Gakugei University. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study explain that moral education at universities in Japan aims to build the character of young citizens to think how to live and act on the basis of autonomous judgment and life as people who are proactive together with others. Moral education is a tool and media for transforming the basic philosophical values of Japanese society. Moral education can be reflected in the daily character of Japanese people who have high ethos and work spirit in carrying out every profession

The purpose of the study is to provide an overview and influence of the project method on the stimulation process of linguistic intelligence of children aged 4-5 years at the Bina Karsa Kindergarten in Lampung Province. The research method used is Action Research. Data collection techniques carried out through observation, interview stimulation of linguistic intelligence through project methods. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques, namely, a complete description of the process of linguistic intelligence stimulation activities through project methods and quantitative descriptive, the results of the percentage of the effect of the project method on the success of linguistic intelligence stimulation with stages through Cycle 1, Cycle 2 and so on. Samples selected by children aged 4-5 years at Bina Karsa Kindergarten. Sampling through interviews with teachers and direct observation. Linguistic intelligence is the intelligence of language intelligence in processing words or the ability to use words effectively both verbally and in writing. Project method is a project method is one method used to train children's ability to solve problems experienced by children in everyday life. Based on the pre-research results, it can be concluded that stimulation of linguistic intelligence through the activities and use of media in accordance with the activities of linguistic intelligence stimulation, and the method often used is the method of storytelling and play. The method of storytelling is not enough in the stimulation process, a trial using the project method is carried out.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to explore the values of local wisdom contained in the myth of Meriam Tegak and the legend Pilang Island. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are carried out using document techniques. Analysis of research data is carried out using content analysis techniques. The results obtained are the myth of the upright cannon and the legend of Pilang Island contains the value of local wisdom, such: (1) religious, (2) honesty, (3) not denouncing, (4) keeping the heart, (5) patient, (6) meek, (7) responsibility, and (8) the value of trust. The conclusion of the research is the myth of Meriam Tegak and the legend of Pilang Island contains religious values (Islam), ethical values, social, hard work, and educational values. The eight values of local wisdom combine to build a whole storyline of myths and legends. In addition, the eight values also decrypt local wisdom values. This article aims to describe the Budi Utomo Quotes Based on Canva Applications for National Awareness Strengthens. In order for the struggle of the Budi Utomo movement to be interpreted in depth by generations, the visual graphic media was chosen to strengthen the national awareness of the generation. This is in line with the basic principles of Budi Utomo's movement, namely the primacy of mind or mind in terms of education. The research method in this article is qualitative descriptive. The writing results describe the process and results of the use of visual graphic media that photographed Budi Utomo's movement with the aim of strengthening the national awareness of Indonesian youth so as to be able to integrate past struggles as a capital "repeating the glory of the past" through education. The hope with this article is that observers of history are able to implement historical learning easily and can adjust technological developments, but without losing their identity as a cultured nation.

This research is a qualitative study aimed to describe the teacher's perception of pop-up book media when applied to the material building space in the V grade elementary school. The research method of using qualitative descriptive with the research data source is the teacher of grade V in elementary school Tanjungsari, namely VA and VB. The data collection techniques used are online interviews through the WhatsApp app. Data analysis techniques using the technical of Miles and Huberman are data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The result of this study raises positive perceptions of class V teachers. The Media pop-up book is interesting to apply to material solid figure in class V, seeing students who are always interested in new things, because this media has not been used, so that the media pop-up book is very good to be applied in class V, in order to support the creativity of students, so that students will be happy and think critically in the process of learning math material solid figure.

This study aims to determine aspects of satisfaction and increase knowledge of participants in participating in the Business Recovery Plan Training (RPU) in the Micro and Tsunami Recovery Program for the Disasters of the Earthquake and Tsunami conducted by the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) in collaboration with Solidar Suisse. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive, data collection methods of observation studies, interviews, documentation, and data analysis techniques through interpretive analysis approach techniques. The results of the study showed that most of the Sirenja people who participated in the Business Recovery Plan Training (RPU) were satisfied and had understood about the preparation of the RPU on good performance. But it is still low in the practice of preparing RPU.

The application of learning and the use of the proper learning model really need to be considered in order to help find out students' understanding of what is conveyed by the teacher. Problem Based Learning is a learning model that focuses on students or student center. The problem-based learning model has a way of dealing with problems in real life and is learning emphasizes investigative activities in solving problems. This study uses descriptive qualitative research method with qualitative descriptive phenomenological analysis techniques to describe broadly and deeply about the learning process when using Problem Based Learning model. By observing and examining the focus of reality or experience experienced by the object of research. The research object chosen in this study was STKIP PGRI Situbondo students who participate in the discussion class on citizenship education.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to describe the results of the effectiveness and interest in reading the nonfiction enrichment book in elementary school. The research method used is research and development data analysis techniques namely quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The test results for the level of material, language, and design validation in the teacher's books were 88.23% and 87.7% of the students' books. Then the feasibility test results are 88,75% and the withdrawal test is 93%. The results of the effectiveness test before using the product are 59,23 %%, and then using the product that is 85%. Meanwhile students' reading interest depends on the lowest percentage value of 92% and the highest percentage of 98%.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil uji efektivitas dan minat baca terhadap buku pengayaan nonfiksi di SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu <em>research and development</em> dengan teknik analisis data yaitu kuanitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil uji tingkat validasi aspek materi, bahasa, dan desain pada buku guru yaitu 88,23% dan buku siswa 87,7%. Hasil uji kelayakan 88,75% dan uji kemenarikan 93%. Hasil uji efektivitas sebelum menggunakan produk yaitu 59,23%% dan sesudah menggunakan produk yaitu 85%%. Sementara itu, minat baca siswa berada pada rentangan persentase nilai terendah yaitu 92% dan persentase nilai tertinggi 98%.

The purpose of research is to find out how the activity of early childhood in improving natural intelligence through the introduction of animals in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung and to find out how much improvement of natural intelligence through the introduction of animals. The research problem is how the introduction of animals made to the natural intelligence of early childhood in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung. The research method used is Classroom Action Research method. Subjects in this study were all children early childhood amounting to 26 children. The instruments used are observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive using percentage and qualitative. Data analysis uses data reduction, data model, and conclusion. The results showed that in cycle I, the average value obtained by children Developing Very Good of 17%. While in cycle II, the average result of children Developing Very Good increased to 65%. This shows that by using the introduction of animals, the early child's natural intelligence in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung increased by 48%.
