Personal branding in the last ten years has been gaining significantly in popularity - especially in the business environment (Gehl, 2011; Wee & Brooks, 2010). Meanwhile, the literature still recognizes the need for empirical research on personal branding that examines how various professions experience personal branding. Managers are increasingly aware that the activities they perform as part of personal branding affect how the organization they represent is perceived. The aim of this article is to identify the process of building personal brands by managers. To achieve this goal, a literature review and qualitative research were carried out in the form of individual in-depth interviews. The choice of the research method is justified by the subject of the analysis. The study covered a group of nine people with at least two years of experience in a managerial position and employed in service companies located in Greater Poland. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that personal branding is perceived as a multi-stage process in which social media is credited with increasing use. In addition, organizations only support building personal brands by managers and executives. The article is a field for further exploration of publications and research.

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan menjelaskan setiap tahap proses revitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Selayar Art untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Pakarena Laiyolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan interaksi analisis. Hasil penelitian yaitu memaparkan hasil kajian berupa proses yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Selayar Art dalam upaya melestarikan tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: Sanggar Selayar Art, tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />ABSTRACT</p><p><br />This article is the result of a study that focuses on the subject matter of how the process of revitalization of Pakarena Laiyolo dance is by Sanggar Selayar Art. The purpose of this study was to understand and explain each stage of the revitalization process carried out by the Selayar Art studio in order to revive Pakarena Laiyolo dance. The research method used is qualitative research method with an interaction analysis approach. Sunda Wiwitan is a belief held by traditional Sundanese society or native Sundanese religion. Sundanese Wiwitan community is spread in West Java, one of which is Cigugur Village, Kuningan. In carrying out their religious activities, this group usually presents offerings. The rituals of offerings in Sunda Wiwitan have existed since the stone age. This ritual is a legacy from the ancestors handed down to the younger generation of Sunda Wiwitan through the communication process. This ritual is still carried out by the Sunda Wiwitan community until this day. The purpose of this research is to find out how the process of offering rituals on Sunda Wiwitan adherents and what are the preparations needed at the time of the ritual. Theories used in this research are communication theory, culture and ritual communication. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomenological method. The data to be analyzed was obtained from the results of in-depth interviews with three speakers. The conclusion from this study is that ritual offerings are not a negative thing. But the offerings ritual is a ritual that presents the work of human beings to Sang Hyang Kersa or the Creator, creatures that appear or do not appear as expressions of gratitude and. This ritual is also a symbol that describes the relationship between humans and nature and humans with the Creator. Sunda Wiwitan merupakan sebuah aliran kepercayaan yang dianut oleh masyarakat tradisional Sunda atau agama Sunda asli. Masyarakat penganut Sunda Wiwitan tersebar di daerah Jawa Barat salah satunya adalah Desa Cigugur, Kuningan. Dalam menjalankan kegiatan agamanya kelompok ini biasa menyajikan sajen. Ritual sajen dalam Sunda Wiwitan sudah ada sejak zaman batu. Ritual ini merupakan warisan dari para leluhur yang diturunkan kepada generasi muda Sunda Wiwitan melalui proses komunikasi. Ritual ini masih dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Sunda Wiwitan sampai saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah proses ritual sajen pada penganut Sunda Wiwitan dan apa saja persiapan yang dibutuhkan pada saat ritual sajen dilakukan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori komunikasi, budaya dan komunikasi ritual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data yang akan dianalisis diperoleh dari hasil wawancara mendalam dengan tiga orang narasumber. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ritual sajen bukanlah sebagai suatu hal yang negatif. Tetapi ritual sajen merupakan ritual yang mempersembahkan hasil karya olah manusia kepada Sang Hyang Kersa atau Sang Pencipta, makhluk yang tampak maupun tidak tampak sebagai ucapan rasa syukur dan terima kasih. Ritual sajen juga merupakan simbol yang menggambarkan hubungan antara manusia dengan alam dan manusia dengan Sang Pencipta.

<p><em>Abstrak</em><strong> - </strong><strong>Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai “<em>Personal</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>Branding</em></strong><strong> Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai Komentator Olahraga di Media Televisi”.</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana penerapan personal branding yang dilakukan oleh Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian</strong><strong> </strong><strong>analisis deskriptif. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah <em>post-positivisme</em> karena peneliti ingin membuktikan dan menganalisa suatu fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek penelitian dengan berpedoman teori yang sudah ada dan berpaku pada suatu teori. Dalam objek penelitian penulis memilih Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai informan kunci, lalu memilih Ary Sapari dan Petrus Tomy Wijanarko sebagai informan pendukung dan memilih Dra. Dewi Taviana Walida, Psi, Psikolog sebagai informan ahli. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak hadir sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi </strong><strong>yang memiliki ciri khas variasi ragam bahasanya saat menjadi komentator olahraga yaitu slang, jargon, akrolek, dan ken</strong><strong> </strong><strong>dengan</strong><strong> s</strong><strong>ebelas karaktersitik personal branding yaitu keaslian, integritas, konsisten, spesialisasi, wibawa, kekhasan, relevan, terlihat, kegigihan, nama baik, dan kinerja yang sudah cukup baik dan selaras. Akan tetapi, pada poin kewibawaan, untuk diakui sebagai ahli dalam bidang komentator olahraga Valentino Simanjuntak masih membutuhkan waktu dan proses lagi untuk memenuhi kriteria kewibawaan</strong><strong>.</strong></p><p><em>Abstract -<strong> </strong></em><strong>This research is a qualitative research on "Personal Branding Valentino Simanjuntak as Sports Commentator on Television Media". The purpose of this research is to analyze the way of applying personal branding carried out by Valentino Simanjuntak as a sports commentator on television media. This study uses qualitative methods with a type of descriptive analysis research. The paradigm used in this research is post-positivism because researchers want to prove and analyze the phenomena that occur in the subject of research by referring to existing theories and sticking to a theory.</strong><strong> </strong><strong>In the research object, the author cho</strong><strong>o</strong><strong>se Valentino Simanjuntak as the key informant, then cho</strong><strong>o</strong><strong>se Ary</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Sapari and Petrus</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Tomy</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Wijanarko as supporting informants and chose Dra. The result of this research shows  that in conducting personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak was present as a sports commentator on television media who has a uniqueness of language variation like slang, jargon , akrolek, and ken with</strong><strong> </strong><strong>eleven personal branding characteristics namely authenticity, integrity, consistency, specialization, authority, distinctiveness, relevant, visibility, persistence, goodwill, and performance. It is good enough and in harmony. This study aims to see the community participation in the satellite area in the construction and maintenance of Drainage in the Village Marindal II District Patumbak Deli Serdang. The research method used to answer the problem in this research is the method of qualitative research approach. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, literature study and documentation. Informant research comes from the elements of sub-district government and community. The results of the research show that the participation, involvement and utilization of drainage facilities are running well.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand the values consumers pursue and roles consumers partake in selfie practice. Design/methodology/approach A qualitative research method was adopted. In-depth interviews were conducted with selfie enthusiasts. Data were analyzed with grounded theory approach. Findings Diverse activities and reflections pertaining to selfies were analyzed, which uncovered three consumer roles departmentalized and the nine values that selfie practice generates for consumers. The three roles are subject, photographer and user of selfies, and the roles are orchestrated together or selectively performed if necessary. In consequence of the interplay of performances and expectations of the roles, consumers pursue and gain four collaboratively created values and five individually created values. Originality/value Findings of the study expand the understanding of values of selfie practice and consumer roles in Web 2.0.

This research was conducted with a view to ascertaining the perceptions, feelings, and thoughts of the women who care for patients with schizophrenia regarding the challenges they face and stigma. This research was conducted by using qualitative research method. To this end, in-depth interviews were made with 10 women who care for schizophrenia patients. As a result of the research, it was found out that the women who care for patients often care of the patient on their own, and thus, they have some psychosocial challenges. The disease negatively affects family relationships, but some families, on the contrary, have positive changes in their relationships. The parents accuse themselves as they are the cause of the disease and they are accused by the social circles. The women who care for patients are exposed to stigma during almost the all processes of the disease and some women internalize being stigmatized and they mostly tend to hide the disease in order to cope with the stigma.

This article has two objectives. The first is to study the concepts of Competitive Intelligence and Dynamic Capabilities, aiming to verify if the stages of the competitive intelligence cycle can constitute stimulating elements for Dynamic Capabilities in organizations. The second goal is to understand how the competitive intelligence process is dealt with in medium- and large-sized companies in Brazil, grounded on opinions by specialists on the topic (scholars, researchers and consultants). For its consecution, besides the literature review on the subject, information was collected by means of in-depth interviews and, seeking triangulation of data, a comparative research was conducted on similar studies. It is a qualitative research that applies content analysis as its technique for investigation. The study supports that the routines in the stages of the competitive intelligence cycle and the abilities required for its operationalization foster the mobilization of Dynamic Capabilities in organizations. Competitive Intelligence, through a suitable development of the activities established in its phases, promotes the perception for change (sensing) and provides the necessary intelligence for the acquiring of the knowledge which will be the foundation for action (seizing), thus contributing for the continuous reinvention of the business (transforming). On the other hand, evidences suggest that Competitive Intelligence practices are still in their embryonic stages of application in Brazilian companies, and therefore need efforts for further qualification and consolidation.

Actually, disruption era showed the birth of a new spirit of national progress. However, it is evident that not entirely a positive influence and still high unemployment. From the beginning people must be able to educate themselves as creative and innovative people. It is not easy to create entrepreneurial characters, through entrepreneurship development in schools, entrepreneurial mentality is instilled. Business incubators has been widely applied to universities and has not been widely applied in schools. This study aims to explain how the implementation of the incubator as a vehicle to foster entrepreneurial character in middle school students. Using a descriptive qualitative research method with in-depth interviews with the incubator program presenters and the results of polls of several participants, it can be seen that the findings of this study demonstrate entrepreneurship in "entrepreneur passion" class incubators who are able to increase student entrepreneurship spirit and skills. The result shows that there are still limitations in managing entrepreneurial incubators in schools.

Road projects are experiencing huge delays in Sri Lanka due to utility relocation, delays in releasing payments, design changes during construction phase, price escalation and land acquisition to accommodate utility relocation. In some instances, contract of utility projects was awarded when road works were nearing completion. There is no sound legislation that exists defining the powers, rights and obligations of Roads and Utility authorities. As a result, Roads Authorities in Sri Lanka are obliged to pay all costs associated with the above impacts, along with extension of time due to such delays from the allocated funds for road works. This has been causing burden to the project scope and impacting the economy of Sri Lanka. As such, it is important to identify suitable remedial measures to mitigate such impacts during the design and construction stages. Qualitative research method was adopted through the inductive process by selecting purposive samples of experts for semi structured in-depth interviews. In addition, more data was collected through documents review. This study revealed that the knowledge gap in the sector to identify and recommended remedial measures for impacts caused by utility works in road projects in Sri Lanka.
