AbstractMathematical literacy (ML) skill is important because the activities of everyday life are related to mathematics and require prompt and in-depth understanding. Therefore, this study aims to examine the ML skill of madrasah students in Indonesia both as a whole and based on the level of madrasah (MI, MTs, and MA). The sampling technique was then adopted Random Assignment, which obtained a total of 3,285 students from 26 regions in Indonesia. Furthermore, a qualitative descriptive method with a survey technique was used. The instrument used for the was the PISA design with an Islamic context in the form of a description. The results showed the ML skill of madrasah students in Indonesia has an average of 17.23%, with Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) having 6.39%, Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) with 20.01%, and Madrasah Aliyah (MA) with 25.29%. The low ML skill is because most of the students do not understand the context in the questions. The context in the assessment of this skill is important because it helps students to remember what they have learned, relate them to the problems, and offer a solution that fits the given context. Another cause is the lack of using problems that have the characters of PISA questions in the learning process. Therefore, the students are less trained in working on contextual questions and require high-level thinking.AbstrakKemampuan literasi matematis sangat penting karena kegiatan yang dilakukan manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari banyak sekali yang berkaitan dengan matematika dan memerlukan pemahaman literasi dalam penyelesaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan literasi matematis siswa madrasah di Indonesia baik secara keseluruhan maupun berdasarkan tingkat madrasah (MI, MTs, dan MA). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 26 wilayah yang ada di Indonesia dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Random Assignment dan diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 3285 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik survey.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes kemampuan literasi matematis menggunakan desain PISA dengan konteks keislaman yang berbentuk uraian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis siswa madrasah di Indonesia memiliki rata-rata 17, 23%. Kemampuan literasi matematis untuk siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) sebesar 6,39%, untuk siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) sebesar 20,01% dan untuk siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA) sebesar 25,29%. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa madrasah di Indonesia dikarenakan kebanyakan siswa tidak memahami konteks dalam soal. Konteks dalam penilaian literasi matematis merupakan hal yang sangat penting, sebab konteks membawa pola pikir siswa untuk mengingat ulang konsep-konsep yang telah dipelajarinya, menghubungkan dengan permasalahan yang ada dalam konteks, kemudian memformulasikan suatu solusi yang sesuai dengan konteks yang diberikan. Penyebab lain adalah kurangnya penggunaan masalah yang memiliki karakter seperti soal PISA dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa kurang terlatih dalam mengerjakan soal yang kontekstual dan menuntut untuk berpikir tingkat tinggi.  How to Cite: Kurniawati, L. Management by Values is an important management concept that operates an organization in going through changes and ordeals. Management approaches continuously evolve through time but often disregarded one vital organizational aspect, values. The Philippines is preparing itself on the challenges that ASEAN integration will bring to the country in the academic sector. This study evaluated the level of management by values of industrial technology teachers in the College of Industrial Technology of Bulacan State University. The descriptive method of research was used to describe and quantify the profile, level of management by values of industrial technology teachers in the College of Industrial Technology of Bulacan State University. Convenience sampling, a non-probability sampling technique, was used. Findings of the study uncovered that industrial technology teacher profiles of the College of Industrial Technology in Bulacan State University confirmed that teachers were comparatively in their middle ages, male dominated, by and large married, and commonly with Master’s degree. The level of management by values in terms of ethical-social values, economic-pragmatic values, and emotional-developmental values were all perceived at a high level. There were significant differences in the perceptions of students and industrial technology teachers on the level of management by values. AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi untuk mendeskripsikan nilai estetis pada kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar Di Medan Perjuangan.Pembatasan masalah dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan nilai estetis dan hasil karya kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar di Medan Perjuangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil teknik sampling jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel sebanyak 8 karya kerajinan miniatur kapal. Dalam hal ini penulis akan meneliti karya kerajinan miniatur kapal tersebut berdasarkan aspek proporsi, keseimbangan, kesatuan, dan finishing. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh, maka semua hasil penilaian dari ke dua ahli secara keseluruhan pada kerajinan miniatur kapal karya pengerajin Kriya Asmidar ditinjau berdasarkan aspek proporsi, keseimbangan, kesatuan, dan finishing, secara umum dikategorikan baik dengan jumlah nilai = 703 dan rata-rata (r) = 88 (baik). Kata Kunci:analisis, kerajinan, miniatur kapal.AbstractThis research is in the background to describe the aesthetic value of miniature craft shipments at the craftsmen of Asmidar craft in Medan Perjuangan. The problem limitation in this study focuses on the application of aesthetic values and the work of ship miniature crafts to the craftsmen of Asmidar craft in Medan Perjuangan. The population in this study is all miniature craft of craft in the craft of the Asmidar craft. In this study the author takes a saturated sampling technique, which is a sample determination technique if all members of the population are used as a sample of 8 ship miniature craft works. In this case the author will examine the ship's miniature craft based on aspects of proportion, balance, unity and finishing. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. Based on the data that has been obtained, all the results of the assessment of the two experts as a whole on the miniature craft of the work of the craftsmen KriyaAsmidar are reviewed based on the aspects of proportion, balance, unity, and finishing, generally categorized as good with a number of values = 703 and average ( r) = 88 (good).Keywords:analysis, crafts, miniature’s ship.

This study aims to determine students’ mathematical literacy skills in solving PISA mathematical problems. Mathematical literacy is the capacity of individuals to formulate, use, and interpret mathematics in various contexts. Students’ mathematical literacy skills can be seen in the way students work in solving PISA questions. This study is qualitative descriptive research. Data from the analysis of students’ mathematical literacy skills were obtained through tests in the form of descriptive questions adopted from PISA questions, analysis based on indicators of mathematical literacy skill according to PISA, and the interview results with students who worked on the PISA questions. This study shows that students’ mathematical literacy skills were in the medium to the low category; this can be seen from the percentage of students’ answer scores in working on PISA questions. Therefore, it is necessary to provide reasoning questions such as PISA questions to help students improve their mathematical literacy skills.

The purpose of this research was to describe results evaluation of implementation halal slaughter vocational training at International Livestock Training Center Batu East Java using a qualitative descriptive method. The selection of informants was carried out by using purposive sampling technique. Data is tabulated from interviews with informants. Data analysis was carried out by classifying and taking the connection between the interview data. Validity of the data was tested by using triangulation technique data sources based on interviews with informants.

This study aims to determine the branding strategy at MTsN Purbalingga Regency and to determine the level of effectiveness of branding management strategies at MTsN Purbalingga Regency in 2018 to 2020. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to describe and analyze branding management strategies at MTsN in Purbalingga Regency and describe user responses to branding management strategies at MTsN Purbalingga Regency. The places chosen to conduct the research were MTsN 01 Purbalingga, MTsN 02 Purbalingga, and MTsN 03 Purbalingga. Informants from this research are principals, teachers, staff, and students. Then to select and determine the informants in this study, the researchers used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research are using content/document analysis techniques, in-depth interviews, and events/observations. The method used to check the validity of the data is the triangulation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive model analysis. The stages in analyzing the data in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1). the branding strategies that have been carried out by MTsN in Purbalingga Regency between one MTsN and other MTsN are the same and some are different, this of course depends on the branding management carried out by each school. MTsN 1 Purbalingga, namely by improving the quality both in terms of achievement and non-academic namely character building, MTs Negeri 2 Purbalingga emphasizes efforts to attract interest in terms of performance and community service, while MTs Negeri 3 Purbalingga in an effort to attract interest by achieving good academic achievements and non-academic and performance services for both teachers and employees; 2). The effectiveness of the branding strategy carried out at MTs Negeri Purbalingga Regency in 2018 to 2020 is quite effective in increasing public trust.

This research aims to know the motivation of parents to include their children in Mataram Soccer Academy., IN Mataram. This research was conducted in Mataram Soccer Academy.field, GOR Turida Mataram from December 2th to December 9nd 2019. This research used descriptive method by using survey technique in the form of questionnaire. The sampling technique was taken from 60 parent’s samples who involve their children in Mataram Soccer Academy City Mataram. The instruments used were questionnaires and Likert Scale for choice category. The testing of instrument validity used Product Moment for motivation variable. The reliability for variable motivation used Alpha Cronbach formula. The research result showed that the highest motivation of parents to involve their children to Mataram Soccer Academy city Mataram is motivated by the factor of appreciation needs by 29%. Therefore, the appreciation factor is the important thing for parents to involve their children to the academy.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terhadap hasil belajar menggambar flora. Objek yang digambar adalah pohon. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII SMP Swasta AL-ULUM Medan dengan sampel 3 karya siswa dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel yang akan diambil dengan menggunakan Pretest dan Posttest agar dapat terlihat perbedaan dengan penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan gambaran yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa yang telah ditentukan yaitu garis, bentuk, warna, gelap terang, proporsi dan karakter objek. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan  karya yang dihasilkan berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dilihat dari hasil karya Pretest dan Posttest.Kata Kunci: prinsip, unsur, seni rupa.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts on flora learning outcomes. The object drawn is a tree. The population in this study is grade VII Medan AL-ULUM Junior High School with a sample of 3 student work using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Samples to be taken using Pretest and Posttest so that differences can be seen with the mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing the images studied and assessed based on predetermined fine art principles and elements, namely lines, shapes, colors, light darkness, proportions and character of objects. The findings of this study indicate that overall the work produced is based on the principles and elements of art there is a significant influence seen from the work of Pretest and Posttest.  Keywords: principles, elements, fine art.

<p><em> </em><em>LAWANG SEWU IN GEOMETRY VIEW. Mathematics and culture are two things closely related. But sometimes mathematics is seen as something that is not connected to everyday life. Infactthe environment can be a source of mathematical problems in real life. The environment is one of culture, one of which includes historic buildings. Mathematics in culture is referred to by the term ethnomatematics. Lawang Sewu is one of the historical buildings located in the city of Semarang. The purpose of this research is to know the geometry structure of Lawang SEWU building. This building can be used as a research object with qualitative descriptive method, with data collection using direct observation on research object, interview with speaker, and using library study related to research This. Through research that the authors have done, it can be concluded that Lawang SEWU building has a geometry structure of space, namely cube, beam, Limas, and Octagonal prism.</em></p>

Nowadays, moral decadence is a serious handling requires the formamation of character and dignity of the nation depended on the establisment of the man himself. The efforts can be done in the educational environment that is built the character of learners by developing an attitude of spiritual and social components used in this study. The goals of this study are to describe of spiritual and social attitudes on science learning activities on fourth grade that use KTSP and 2013 curriculum. The study was conducted with qualitative descriptive method and purposive sampling technique. Instruments used in the form of observational learning activities to analyze the emergence of the spiritual and social attitudes using videograph. Based on the results of the average total spiritual and social attitudes acquired elemtary used 2013 curriculum get bigger results. Expected from this research can serve as a basis for further research and as a motivation for teachers to be able  to  bring  up  an  spiritual  and  social  attitudes,  especially  in  science  learning.

Abstract: Due to the advancement of economic era, inflation is an entity that cannot be avoided. However, in order to elude the reducing of the currency purchasing power as an effect of e inflation is by investing. An alternative way for investment is by purchasing shares of companies listed on the Indonesian Share Exchange. In fact, it require smart selection of Shares Company which provide growth returns above inflation. This study aims to scrutinize the company's shares as a basis for investment through the analysis of financial statements and share returns. This research employed qualitative descriptive method by using purposive sampling technique and it took seven companies as the research object. Then it analyzed the corporate financial statements for the period of 2011-2016 by using the liquidity ratio, solvency ratio and profitability ratio approach while in analyzing share returns, the researcher employed realized return approached. The finding showed that not all companies have a good performance or provide a positive return. The companies which is considered appropriate for investment meets the following requirements, namely, firstly, it has an average liquidity ratio above one and it increases in the subsequent year. Secondly, it has a solvency ratio of less than one and it consistently decreases. Thirdly, it has an increased level of profitability in each year. Fourthly, it has a linear price progress with the company's performance. Fifthly, it distributes dividends annually. The Sixth is the investment return is above inflation value. The seventh requirement is the investment return above the deposit interest rate.Abstrak: Pada era perekonomian saat ini, inflasi merupakan salah satu hal yang tidak bisa dihilangkan. Walaupun demikian, untuk menghindarkan berkurangnya daya beli mata uang karena inflasi adalah dengan melakukan investasi. Salah satu alternatif untuk berinvestasi ialah berinvestasi pada saham perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tetapi dengan banyaknya jumlah perusahaan di Bursa Efek Indonesia maka dibutuhkan alternatif pemilihan saham perusahaan yang mampu memberikan pertumbuhan return di atas inflasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah saham perusahaan sebagai dasar berinvestasi melalui analisis laporan keuangan dan return saham. Berdasarkan penelitian ini yang menggunakan metode kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, menghasilkan tujuh perusahaan yang menjadi objek penelitian. Berdasarkan tujuh perusahaan kemudian di analisis laporan keuangan perusahaan periode 2011-2016 dengan menggunakan pendekatan rasio likuiditas, rasio solvabilitas dan rasio profitabilitas sedangkan return saham menggunakan penedekatan realized return. Berdasarkan metode ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua perusahaan mempunyai kinerja yang baik dan tidak semua perusahaan memberikan return yang positif. Berdasarkan sampel perusahaan dengan menggunakan dua alat analisis laporan keuangan dan return saham menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang layak dijadikan investasi adalah perusahaan yang memenuhi karakteristik berikut, pertama, mempunyai rasio likuiditas rata-rata di atas satu dan mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Kedua, mempunyai rasio solvabilitas lebih kecil dari satu dan konsisten mengalami penuruanan. Ketiga, mempunyai tingkat profitabilitas yang meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Keempat, mempunyai pergerakan harga yang linier dengan kinerja perusahaan. Kelima, perusahaan membagikan dividen setiap tahunnya. Keenam, return investasi di atas nilai inflasi. Ketujuh, return investasi di atas bunga deposito.
