Moreover, the head of a particular non-profit social-oriented organization engaged in social work must develop the unique strategy of professional and personnel risks management, taking into account its specific conditions.

Psychological readiness is a complex phenomenon that includes a variety of motivational and regulatory components, a system of cognitive patterns of future activities and working conditions, predictive assessments, as well as managing your own emotional reactions. In the professional field of «Man-Technique», the subject of labor, managing a complex technical system, must have a high level of stress tolerance and self-regulation, which gives particular importance to the problem of professional diagnosis and selection. Subjective criteria can catch the «subtle» emotional experiences, the nuances of cognitive-affective processes that simultaneously occur in the psyche of the individual. Objective criteria — often require a rather expensive research procedure. In this regard, diagnostic techniques that combine efficiency and short duration with validity criteria are most in demand. To test the assumptions of their effectiveness, a study was conducted of psychological readiness for professional activity among novice drivers, as well as among cadets-pilots of civil aviation who begin training flight training. Samples «Falling words», «Manifest words» study the perceptual mechanisms underlying the subject’s interpretation of the situation as potentially stressful, diagnosing perceptive alertness / protection. A professional who has a high willingness to interpret the received signals as stressful will recognize these words faster, which will be reflected in the objective criterion — a short signal recognition time. A comparison of the data with the results of the coping tests revealed that for novice drivers, perceptual vigilance prevails over perceptual protection. More experienced drivers often discharge suppressed emotions (usually hostility, anger), directing them to objects that are less dangerous or more accessible than those that caused negative emotions and feelings. The psychological readiness for training flights among cadets needs an additional study of perceptual and emotional components that will be used in self-regulation of resistance to emotional and psychological stress associated with upcoming professional activities.

This article provides a theoretical analysis of the conditions and specifics of the consideration of criminal cases with the participation of jury. The aspect of the provision of psychological influence by the participants in the trial on the jury by means of a system of psychological techniques that form the prejudice of the jury against the defendant is disclosed. Currently, the selection of candidates for jurors does not include psychological evaluation criteria. But, in order to avoid making erroneous decisions by the jury, they need to be prepared to confrontation psychological pressure from opposite sides, to teach them the ability to resist manipulation. During the trial the defense and prosecution parties try to form the attitude of the jury towards the defendant, which corresponds to their position. The methods of forming the convictions of jurors correspond to the modern direction of applied psychology. The degree of awareness of the jury about the evidence examined and the rules for its assessment is a cognitive condition for overcoming the formation of the necessary conviction in the jury, because the defendant and the prosecutor and defense parties of the trial use manipulative techniques as methods of influence, mechanisms of covert control: deception, intimidation, etc. It is advisable, prior to participating in a trial, to give the jury the foundations of the psychological knowledge they need. At the same time, it is hardly realistic, in the existing normative conditions, to form their knowledge of the general laws of the functioning of mental processes, the characteristics of the individual’s activity and his personal characteristics that determine the productivity of the implementation of mental cognitive processes in the framework of a specific situation that has legal significance. But you can pay special attention to the emotional stability of the individual, aggressiveness, introversion, rigidity in the spheres of interpersonal relationships and the resolution of difficult situations of professional activity.

Social worker‘s professional activity has been analysed from different viewpoints: the complexity of professional activity in the socio-cultural context of Lithuania is reflected by a complex character of clients' problems, multiple dimensions of the empowerment process, the novelty and the status of the profession in the community, public culture, etc. Social work is included in the list of risk professions, therefore, new and innovative ways of professional support are sought with the aim of professional risk prevention. One of them is supervision, or a professional relations counselling service. The service was first provided in the field of social work, which reflects the world tradition. The article aims to disclose the risk of professional stress in the social work process by actualizing the prospect of the use of supervision. The article presents an analysis of the data of the representative qualitative research. The research findings revealed that the process of social work was complex and full of surprises and tensions. Therefore, the line between good self-regulation skills and a burnout syndrome was unpredictable. The stages of planning, testing, and the review of the outcomes were identified as the most difficult, because they required reflection skills. Continuous improvement of self-regulation skills was necessary, which was the function of supervision as a form of professional competence improvement. Supervision cannot substitute for the support provided by one‘s colleagues, administration, the closest environment, or a priest, however, it can help to restore harmony, to reflect on one‘s professional experience, to name and to reconsider the stages of the process, to express the feelings experienced in the past and being experienced in the present, and to name the tensions arising between the professional and personal identities in the situation of intervention.

Introduction. Post-graduate education of residents is the basis of the professional activity of doctors. Therapeutic activities involve emotional load and a lot of stress factors. Emotional burnout syndrome (EBS) is the response of the organism to prolonged negative exposure to professional stresses. Psychological overwork is considered to be the main cause of EBS. This article is devoted to the study of resource possibilities of the individual and to the search for ways to prevent the development of EBS in residents at the postgraduate stage of education. Materials and methods. The EBS analysis (V.V. Boyko’s method), conflict competence (method "Diagnostics of leading type of response" by M.M. Kashapov and T.G. Kiseleva), communicative competence (method "Professional communicative competence of the doctor" by N.V. Yakovleva and L.P. Urvantsev), creativity (test "Creativity" by N.F. Vishniakova) and creative characteristics of personality (Questionnaire of abilities of creative personality by O.A. Shliapnikova and M.M. Kashapov) were used to examine 130 persons (100 residents of surgical and therapeutic specialties and 30 doctors of general practice) in comparison groups with correlation analysis. Results. The obtained data support the hypothesis that 1) differences in the choice of conflict resolution strategy contribute to the development of EBS symptoms; 2) residents experience a shortage of professional communicative competence, which leads to the development of EBS; 3) there are relationships between the parameters of creativity and the expression of EBS; 4) the chosen medical specialty is related to the degree of expression of creative abilities of the individual. Discussion and conclusion. The reasons for the identified psychological disadvantage are analyzed. A comparative analysis of conflict and communication competencies, as well as creative characteristics of the person, which play a role in the development of the EBS has been carried out. It has been established that creativity and creative abilities manifest themselves as resource opportunities whose targeted development can serve as a means of preventing EBS in residents.
