Cyber Security Deficiencies in the Education Environment

Information technologies have already radically transformed the communications and information technology sectors, trade, media, and the education sector, especially education, which is on the top priority. Digital technologies will radically change the way data is sent and retrieved, will allow immediate and real-time feedback from students, will facilitate access to education through distance learning, will allow new service providers to enter traditional markets education. Thus, a diligent and well planned implementation of cyber security, as well as information security of information networks of educational institutions will provide a definite competitive advantage in the information environment. In the context of a dynamic information environment prone to large-scale cyber-attacks, in which cybercriminals are using increasingly advanced methods to implement attack vectors that are undetectable and difficult to neutralize, this scientific study is designed to protect data and security of your institutions as well as to ensure the confidentiality of your students and teachers. Whether we are talking about large or small educational institutions, this study provides a series of recommendations on the secure use of social networks with a minimum set of measures needed to prevent cyber-attacks as well as reduce the damage caused in case of attacks. At the same time, it will examine the best practices in the online environment, effectively analyze the privacy settings of mobile devices and present some top tips for the secure use of social networks. The study aims to comply with the following minimum set of measures in order to prevent cyber-attacks in educational institutions, and reduce the damage caused in the event of attacks. Zatem rzetelne i dobrze zaplanowane wdrożenie cyberbezpieczeństwa, a także bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego sieci informacyjnych placówek oświatowych zapewni zdecydowaną przewagę konkurencyjną w środowisku informacyjnym. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie środków zapobiegawczych przeciw cyberatakom w placówkach edukacyjnych i ograniczania szkód wyrządzanych w przypadku takich ataków.

Wypalenie zawodowe nazywane jest chorobą XXI wieku. Nie ma jednej, ogólnej, międzynarodowej definicji tego zjawiska. Przyczyn wypalenia doszukiwać można się w sferze indywidualnej, interpersonalnej oraz organizacyjnej. Syndrom wypalenia zawodowego niesie za sobą negatywne konsekwencje nie tylko dla samej jednostki, ale także dla jej rodziny i przyjaciół. Przedmiotem badań w poniższym artykule są przyczyny i skutki wypalenia zawodowego wśród osób wykonujących zawody służebne. Causes and effects syndromeof burnout among people to perform profession servants The syndrome of burnout is called a disease of the 21st century. There is no one general, international definition of this phenomenon. The causes can be found in the individual, interpersonal and organizational sphere. Burnout syndrome has negative consequences not only for the individual, but also for his family and friends. The subject of the research in the article below are the causes and effects of burnout among people working in the profession service.

Value Orientations of Adolescents and Youth: Review and Current Situation

This article reviews a number of theoretical and scientific approaches in respect to specifics of value orientation formation and manifestation in adolescents and youth. The study of value orientations was carried out by review of the scientific positions on describing the process of values formation in ontogenesis, the need of implication in different human activities for development of value orientation in childhood, the impact of the broad range of factors that shape the value orientations, the correlation of values with structural elements of the personality etc. The experimental study initially undertaken in 2015 and repeated in 2019 reflects the specifics of the value orientations dynamics in adolescents and young people within the pre-university and university levels of education system. The content shows up-to-date nature of the research and outlines prospects for further priority in investigative area. System wartości nastolatków i młodych ludzi: przegląd i obecna sytuacja W niniejszym artykule dokonano przeglądu szeregu podejść teoretycznych i naukowych w odniesieniu do specyfiki kształtowania i manifestacji systemu wartości wśród nastolatków i młodych ludzi. Badanie orientacji wartości zostało przeprowadzone poprzez przegląd stanowisk naukowych dotyczących opisu procesu kształtowania się wartości w ontogenezie, potrzeby implikacji w różnych działaniach ludzkich dla rozwoju orientacji wartości w dzieciństwie, wpływu szerokiego spektrum czynników kształtujących orientacje wartości, korelacji wartości z elementami strukturalnymi osobowości itp. Eksperymentalne studium, rozpoczęte w 2015 roku i powtórzone w 2019 roku, odzwierciedla specyfikę dynamiki orientacji wartości u nastolatków i młodych ludzi w ramach systemu edukacji przeduczelnianej i uniwersyteckiej. Treść pokazuje aktualny charakter badań i zarysowuje perspektywy dalszych badań w tym obszarze.

Dilemata sociálních pracovníků s ohledem na práci s romským etnikiem

V tomto textu nejprve vymezíme dilemata a popíšeme proces jejich vzniku. Budeme se věnovat popisu dilemat v historii a to prostřednictvím šesti hodnotových a etických směrů. Nastíníme etická dilemata neboli problémy sociálních pracovníků tak, jak jsou pojímány v Etickém kodexu Společnosti sociálních pracovníků České republiky. V další části se budeme věnovat dilematům současné sociální práce. Zvlášť pak ve zkratce popíšeme dilema mezi právem a etikou. Celkem vymezíme osmnáct dilemat a ke každému uvedeme, jak se eventuálně mohou promítnout do práce s romským etnikem. Jedná o osobní zkušenosti autora a také o zkušenosti sociálních pracovníků. Také zde navrhneme možnosti, jak s těmito dilematy pracovat. Dylematy pracowników socjalnych związane z pracą z romską grupą etniczną W tym tekście w pierwszej kolejności zdefiniujemy dylematy oraz opiszemy proces ich powstawania. Skoncentrujemy się na opisie dylematów w historii za pośrednictwem sześciu wartości i kierunków etycznych. Zarysujemy dylematy etyczne oraz problemy pracowników socjalnych tak jak są ujęte w Kodeksie Etyki Pracowników Socjalnych Republiki Czeskiej. W części dalszej zajmiemy się dylematem współczesnej pracy socjalnej. Zdefiniujemy osiemnaście dylematów i podamy jak każdy z nich może rzutować na pracę z romską grupą etniczną. Przedstawione zostaną osobiste doświadczenia Autora jak i doświadczenia pracowników socjalnych. W tej pracy sugerujemy różne możliwości radzenia sobie z dylematami. Dilemmas of social workers with regard to work with the Roma ethnic group In this paper we will first define the dilemmas and describe the process of their their formation. We will describe dilemmas in history through six ethical value and ethical orientations. We will outline the ethical problems of social workers as they are included in the Code of Ethics of the Society of Social Workers oft he Czech Republic. In the next part of we will deal with the dilemmas of contemporary social work. We will define eighteen dilemmas and statefore each of them how they may eventually be reflected in work with the Roma ethnic group. The author’s personal experiences as well as the experiences of social workers will be presented. In this paper we suggest different options for dealing with dilemmas.

Pozytywne skutki pandemii COVID-19 w obszarze ekologicznych ruchów społecznych

Niniejszy artykuł podejmuje temat sytuacji ruchów społecznych, fundacji i grup, które za cel postawiły sobie dbanie o środowisko w mieście, a także zapewnienie swoim członkom ekologicznej żywności, od lokalnych sprzedawców, w dobie pandemii. Opisano w nim rezultaty badań przeprowadzanych na przełomie sierpnia i września 2020 na terenie Krakowa. Respondentami byli członkowie takich grup jak Krakowski Alarm Smogowy, Fundacja Otwarty Plan, Wawelska Kooperatywa Spożywcza oraz Akcja Ratunkowa dla Krakowa. Poruszony w nim zostaje wpływ izolacji na funkcjonowanie wyżej wymienionych ruchów społecznych, fundacji i grup. Ponadto poruszona w nim została tematyka więzi typu communitas oraz trwałości grup opartych na tym typie więzi społecznych. Znaczną część artykułu zajmują także prognozy i przypuszczenia co do tego, jak zmienić się może życie w miastach i jaki wpływ na samą miejskość ma kryzys branży usług. Positive effects of COVID-19 pandemic in the area of ecological social movements This article decscribes the situation of social movements, foundations and groups that have set themselves the goal of taking care of the environment in the city as well as providing their members with organic food, from local farmers, in the time of a pandemic. It describes the results of research carried out at the turn of August and September 2020 in Cracow. The respondents were members of groups such as the Krakowski Alarm Smogowy, Fundacja Otwarty Plan, Wawelska Kooperatywa Spożywcza and Akcja Ratunkowa dla Krakowa. It addresses the impact of isolation on the functioning of the above-mentioned social movements, foundations and groups. Moreover, it deals with the subject of communitas ties and the durability of groups based on this type of social ties. A significant part of the article is also devoted to forecasts and assumptions as to how life in cities may change and what impact the crisis in the service industry has on the city itself.

Działania powiatowych centrów pomocy rodzinie w obszarze wsparcia cudzoziemców

Niniejszy artykuł podejmuje rzadko opisywany w literaturze temat indywidualnych programów integracji cudzoziemców w Polsce. Scharakteryzowano teoretyczne aspekty pojęć cudzoziemcy oraz uchodźcy. Poruszono także kwestię prawną ubiegania się oraz udzielania ochrony międzynarodowej w Polsce, a także uprawnień do pobierania świadczeń pomocy społecznej. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych wśród pracowników socjalnych z wybranych powiatowych centr pomocy rodzinie. Konkluzją rozważań są wnioski dotyczące realizacji indywidualnych programów integracji jako formy wsparcia cudzoziemców. The actions of District Family Support Centres within the scope of support for foreigners This article refers to the subject of individual integration programs for foreigners in Poland, which is rarely described in the literature. It pertains to theoretical aspects of the terms of foreigners and refugees. The issue of legal regulations on applying for and administrating international protection in Poland as well as entitlement to receive social welfare benefits are presented. The article displays the results of research conducted among social workers from selected District Family Support Centers. In the summary, the author indicates conclusions regarding the implementation of individual integration programs as a form of aid for foreigners.

Program SAP ma na celu zapobieganie przedwczesnemu kończeniu edukacji, zachowaniom dewiacyjnym nieletnich oraz wzmocnienie rodziny jako instytucji mającej największy wpływ na rozwój dziecka.

Provisions of Polish Law Concerning Interventions Against a Family Affected by Violence – The „Blue Cards” Procedure, its Legal Nature and Practical Problems and Related to Application

The subject matter of this article is the analysis of the provisions of the “Blue Cards” procedure initiated in the case of obtaining information about the use of domestic violence. The introduction presents the implementation thereof on the basis of the Act on Counteracting Domestic Violence. Next, the normative definition of domestic violence and family member and problems related to their practical application are discussed. The final sections illustrate the legal nature of the “Blue Cards” procedure, its course and legal steps that may be taken by a person suspected of using violence and family members affected thereby. Przepisy prawa polskiego dotyczące podejmowania interwencji wobec rodziny dotkniętej przemocą – procedura „Niebieskie Karty”, jej charakter prawny i praktyczne problemy związane z jej stosowaniem Przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza przepisów procedury „Niebieskie Karty”, inicjowanej w przypadku powzięcia informacji o stosowaniu przemocy w rodzinie. Na wstępie przedstawiono genezę wprowadzenia tej regulacji na grunt ustawy o przeciwdziałaniu przemocy w rodzinie. W dalszej kolejności przybliżono normatywną definicję przemocy w rodzinie i członka rodziny oraz problemy związane z ich praktycznym stosowaniem. W kolejnych częściach przedstawiono charakter prawny procedury „Niebieskie Karty”, jej przebieg oraz kroki prawne jakie może podejmować osoba podejrzana o stosowanie takiej przemocy oraz członkowie rodziny dotknięci taką przemocą.

Użyteczność, empowerment i praca socjalna

Użyteczność pracy socjalnej można uznać za wartość przydatną w realizacji założeń i celów stawianych przed systemem pomocy społecznej w społeczeństwie współczesnym. Z kolei idea empowermentu interpretowana w duchu samostanowienia jednostek i w duchu wrażliwości społecznej nie pozwala zapomnieć o tym, że brak uznania społecznego jest pozbawianiem podmiotowości i samostanowienia jednostek o sobie. W artykule zostały zaznaczone wzajemne powiązania pomiędzy użytecznością i empowermentem na obszarze pracy socjalnej, które mogą przyczyniać się do rozpoznawania kwestii społecznych w ich etycznym wymiarze oraz mogą pomagać w podejmowaniu i rozwiązywaniu problemów socjalnych odnoszących się zarówno do całości systemu pomocy społecznej, jak i do rozwiązywania problemów lokalnych z poszanowaniem wolności indywidualnej jednostek. Dzieje się tak wtedy, gdy użyteczność jest definiowana w duchu przydatności i praktycznego zastosowania powiązanych z działaniem na rzecz dobra dla innych, a idea empowermentu określa, że w pracy socjalnej nie można rezygnować z takiej wartości, jak upodmiotowienie jednostek i grup społecznych w kontekście ich samostanowienia o sobie i usamodzielniania. Utility, Empowerment and Social Work Social work utility can be considered a value helpful in achieving principles and objectives set forthe social assistance system in contemporary society. The concept of empowerment, on the other hand, interpreted in a spirit of individuals’ self-determination and social sensitivity, reminds us that lack of social recognition deprives individuals of subjectivity and self-determination. The paper points out interrelations between utility and empowermentin the field of social work, which can contribute to identification of the ethical dimension of social issues and help address and deal with social problems both in the overall context of the entire social assistance system and in local settings with respect for individual freedom. This occurs when utility is defined in a spirit of usefulness and practical application associated with action for the good of others, while the concept of empowerment insists that social work practice should not lose sight of the subjectivity of individuals and social groups in the context of their self-determination and self-direction.

Considerations Regarding the Reserch of the Relationship between the Communications Style and the Degree of Conflictuality at the Young Age

The article highlights the relationship between the communication style and the degree of conflictuality at the young age. There are presented the experimental data regarding the communication style, the degree of conflictuality expressed by young people, the results obtained regarding the relationship between the degree of conflictuality and the communication style of the young people. The experimental approach and the results of the research showed that there is an interdependence relation between the communication style and the degree of conflictuality at the young age, and the high level of the assertive communication interrelates with the low level of conflictuality manifested by the young people, while the aggressive communication style relates at the level of strong and medium intensity with the high level of conflictuality. Rozważania dotyczące badania związków między stylem komunikacji a stopniem konfliktowości w młodym wieku W artykule podkreślono związek między stylem komunikowania się a stopniem konfliktowości w młodym wieku. Przedstawiono dane eksperymentalne dotyczące stylu komunikowania się, stopnia konfliktowości wyrażanej przez młodzież, przedstawiono uzyskane wyniki dotyczące relacji między stopniem konfliktowości a stylem komunikowania się młodych ludzi. Podejście eksperymentalne i wyniki badań wykazały, że istnieje współzależność między stylem komunikowania się a stopniem konfliktowości w młodym wieku – wysoki poziom asertywnej komunikacji wiąże się z niskim poziomem konfliktowości przejawianym przez młodych ludzi. Z kolei agresywny styl komunikacji wiąże się z wysokim poziomem konfliktowości.
