The results of research on the influence of the elaborated complex immunotropic drug containing butafosfan, interferon, thistle and fat-soluble vitamins A, D3, E in the form of a liposomal emulsion on the activity of T- and B-cell chains of immunity in rats under the conditions of action on the body of oxidative stress are presented. It has been established that the introduction of 50% tetrachloromethane into the rats of the first and second experimental groups, with a dose of 0.25 ml per 100 g of body weight, causes oxidative stress in them which negatively affects the cellular immunity and functional activity of immunocompetent blood cells. Immunosuppressive effects of oxidative stress were manifested by a decrease in the blood of rats in the first and second experimental groups of the number of T- and B-lymphocytes and their regulatory subpopulations mainly on the 2nd and 5th day of the study. At the same time, in the blood of rats of the first experimental group in all research periods a decrease in the relative number of common, active and theophylline-resistant T-lymphocytes, as well as B-lymphocytes was observed with a noticeable increase in the number of their undifferentiated forms. At the same time, the obtained data suggest the positive effect of butafosfan, interferon, thistle and vitamins A, D3, E in the liposomal preparation on the relative amount of T- and B-lymphocytes and on the redistribution of avidity in the direction of strengthening the receptor field of plasma membranes immunocompetent cells. It was found that the normalization on the 2nd day of blood level in the second experimental group of common T-lymphocytes occurred due to the secondary forms of the blood and active T-lymphocytes by changes in the number of low-avid forms. In addition to the indicators characterizing the cellular immunity of rats, the components of the liposomal preparation showed regulatory influence on the humoral link of the immune response. In particular, on the 10th day of research in blood of rats of the second experimental group a tendency towards an increase in the relative number of B-lymphocytes and an increase in the number of cells with low and medium density of receptors was found, which, under the conditions of oxidative stress, indicates an increase in the body's ability to actively synthesize protective antibodies

Despite a huge number of studies, the uniqueness of antiparasitic immunity is so great that there is still insufficient knowledge of the factors contributing to the manifestation of the characteristics of immunity in mixed parasitic diseases of rabbits. Therefore, the question of the influence of the association of pathogens Treponema cuniculi and Eimeria sp. on indicators of cellular immunity of rabbits is relevant. The study was conducted on 59 male rabbits age 3–5 months of the Californian breed, selected by analogy. Animal were separated into two groups: healthy animals (control group) and sick animals (research group). Intensity of invasion was determined by the method of the Mac-Master. It has been established that the level of damage of rabbits by spirochetosis and eimeriosis was, on average, 1155.17 ± 184.87 and 6668.97 ± 284.16 pathogens in 1 g of feces. The count of T- and B-lymphocytes was determined by the method of spontaneous rosette-formation with sheep erythrocytes. Parasitizing the association of pathogens Treponema cuniculi and Eimeria sp. was revealed a high number of leukocytes (1.22 times, P < 0.001), which increased mainly due to lymphocytes, which were 1.45 times higher (P < 0.001), as well as neutrophilic metamyelocytes – 1.48 times (P < 0.05), eosinophils – 1.68 times (P < 0.001) and basophils – 1.57 times (P < 0.001) compared with similar blood parameters of healthy animals. In the blood of sick rabbits, the absolute number of T-lymphocytes (1.56 times, P < 0.001) and B-lymphocytes (3.02 times, P < 0.001) was significantly higher in comparison with a low number of O-lymphocytes (3.46 times, P < 0.001) compared with the control. This indicates the redistribution of lymphocytes to cells that carry T and B lymphocyte receptors on the plasma membrane. The absolute number of T-lymphocytes became high due to T-helpers, which in these animals were higher both in absolute (1.87 times, P < 0.001) and percentage (by 9.18%, P < 0.001) compared to control. Moreover, the percentage of T-suppressors in the blood of rabbits of the experimental group was significantly lower on 5.46% (P < 0.05) compared with the same blood count of healthy animals. Such a redistribution of the T-cell population in the peripheral blood of this group of rabbits led to an increase in the immunoregulatory index by 1.64 times (P < 0.01) than in healthy ones. High IRI and the number of T-active lymphocytes (by 28.23%, P < 0.05) in the blood of rabbits with parasitism of the association of pathogens Treponema cuniculi and Eimeria sp. indicate increased immune system tension.

This article presents the results of research into the influence of the complex liposomal preparation Butaintervit on protein synthesis function in the livers of rats under the influence of carbon tetrachloride poisoning. Intramuscular injection of carbon tetrachloride into rats at a dose of 0.25 ml per100 gof body weight causes antigenic load on the body and leads to disruption of protein synthesis function in the liver. This is shown by reduction in blood levels of total protein and its fractions. Thus, the level of albumin in the serum of rats under the conditions of oxidative stress was 70% lower than in clinically healthy animals. However, the level of total protein in the serum was only 10% lower. This is because, along with the decrease of albumin content in the serum, the levels of globulin protein fraction increased by 8.8%. This has led to albumin/globulin disparities in the serum of sick animals. As a result, the value of A/G coefficient was 0.28 ± 0.03, compared to 0.52 ±0.02 inclinically healthy rats. For the normalization of functional state of the liver under oxidative stress it is advisable to apply the liposomal preparation Butaintervite, which in its structure contains butafosfan, interferon, thistle and vitamins A, D and E. Under conditions of oxidative stress and under the action of the liposomal preparation in the rats from the second experimental group we have found significant increase in the levels of total protein and albumins and a decrease in serum globulin in the animals on the fifth and tenth days of the experiment. On the fourteenth day of the experiment under the conditions of oxidative stress and under the action of the liposomal preparation in the rats from the second experimental group the normalization of protein synthesis function in the liver was observed. The level of indicators of total protein, albumin, globulin and the coefficient of albumin/globulin compared with the control group of animals were within normal values.

The article presents data on the influence of the complex of micro elements (Fe, Cu, Zn, Co, Mn) in the form of aquacitrate on the indices of non-specific and cellular immunity in chicken broilers. The poultry received a fodder, balanced by nutrients, according to its type, age and productivity. Control group of chickens were added standard mineral premix (SP) from inorganic compounds of bioelements. Broilers of experimental groups were given water with a complex mineral additive of aquacitrates. In particular, the chickens of the first experimental group – in the amount corresponding to their content in the standard premix (SP), and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th experimental groups – in the amount equal to 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10 of the content of mineral elements in the standard premix. It was found that bactericidal and lysozyme activity of blood serum (BASB and LASB) were the highest in broiler chickens of the third and fourth experimental groups and exceeded the control values by 5.7 and 5.3%, respectively. In the bird of the second and fifth groups, the studied indicators were closer to the ones in control. However, in the chickens of the group D1, giving them the highest studied dose of aquacitrate of micor elements, the values of BASB and LASB tended to decrease. Concerning the level of CIC in serum, it was the highest in the chickens of the second, third and fourth groups, the lowest in the group D1. A similar pattern is also characteristic for phagocytic activity of pseudoiesinophils (PhA). The bite of half and even the quaternary amount of citrates of micro elements, compared with the amount of bioelements in inorganic form, provided an increase, compared to control, of PhA. At such a dose of micro elements in the nanoform in the blood of broilers, the number of T-total and T-active lymphocytes increased, including T-heeler cells and decreased the relative number of T-suppressors. The bird of the first experimental group was characterized by a decrease in the percentage of T-heeler against the background of a slight increase of T-suppressors. Thus, the results of studies of indices of nonspecific and cellular immunity suggest that micor elements in the nanodisperse form, due to better bioavailability and high bioactivity, have a positive effect on the formation and development of the immune system in broiler chickens at a dose corresponding to 25 and 50%, from recommended quantity of biometals in the standard premix.

The paper deals with researching of T- and B-lymphocytes relative quantity and functional activity in broiler chicken blood after using of animal origin immunomodulators in conditions of pre-slaughter stress. The authors determined the relative amount of T- and B-lymphocytes and their individual populations in the reaction of spontaneous rоsetting with the sheep erythrocytes in blood. Besides, the differentiated count of rоsetting lymphocytes with the various degree of functional activity was conducted. The spleen extract (70% alcohol solution in volume of 1.4 ml per chicken) was added to the diet of broiler chicken of experimental groups by aerosol method. This extract was obtained with/ without ultrasound application. 70% alcohol solution in the same volume and using the same method was added to the diet of broiler chicken of the control group five days before slaughter. The authors have not established probable increase of T-lymphocytes general quantity in broiler chicken blood in both experimental groups. It is shown that pre-slaughter stress in broiler chicken caused by weaning has immuno-suppressive effect on T- and B-lymphocytes in blood, which is accompanied by their quantity and functional activity decrease. T- and B-lymphocytes amount and functional activity of T- and B-cell immunity was stimulated after adding immunomodulators of natural origin to broiler chicken diet. Spleen extract polyamines as immunomodulators and antistressors most effectively influenced on some of cell immunity indices before slaughter – it is necessary to note the increase in T-helper lymphocytes in the broiler chickens blood caused by lymphocytes with medium (6–10) – by 18% (Р < 0.05) and high density receptors (М) – by 35% (Р < 0.05) compared to the control. It is shown that decrease of T-lymphocytes quantity in broiler chicken blood is caused by lymphocytes with law (3–5) – by 22% (Р < 0.01) and high (M) – by 11% (Р < 0.05) density receptors with increase of medium density receptors (6–10) – by 15% (Р < 0.05) compared to the control. The results obtained in the experiment can be used in the investigations of cell immunity indices of farm animals in order to increase the organism resistance and to correct their pre-slaughter stress.

The physiological state of animals is to a certain extent characterized by hematological indicators, since blood occupies a special place in the body. By transferring nutrients and biologically active substances, the blood performs the general regulation of vital functions of the body. The use of Vitartil as a feed additive in the diets of animals leads to an increase in glycolytic processes and a decrease in the body’s need for oxygen delivery, which contributes to the growth of the animal body. The purpose of the research was to study the changes in blood parameters taking into account the age of Hereford steers against the background of the use of Vitartil feed additive to the main diet and its effect on the productive traits of animals. In order to carry out the experiment two groups of steers-analogs of Hereford breed have been formed at the age of 6 months per 10 heads in each. The difference between the groups was that the steers of the experimental group have been received the feed additive Vitartil in addition to the main diet. The greater yield of the meat part was in the steers of the experimental group in comparison with the herdmates of the control group. This indicator in the experimental group was 78,9 %, while in the control group it was lower by 1,6 %. The animals of the experimental group were superior to their herdmates in terms of meat weight by 1,4 kg or by 8,8 %. The relative number of bones was lower in the experimental group and amounted to 18,4 %, and in the control group 19,2 %. The meat content index was high in the steer have been received the biologically active additive Vitartil and was 4,3, and in the control group 4,0. It has been found that the use of Vitartil feed additive to the main diet of Hereford steers increases the blood content of hemoglobin and glucose, which has a certain effect on the morphological and chemical composition of meat, as well as increases its energy value.

The aim of the study – to evaluate changes in cellular immunity in rhesus-sensitized women in response to IVIG administration and the prognostic effectiveness of a method for the prevention of isoimmunization in the next pregnancy. Materials and Methods. The study was performed on the basis of City Maternity Hospital No. 7" (Odesa) in 2014–2019. 37 rhesus-sensitized women were randomly splited in two clinical groups: main clinical group (n=19) where patients received human immunoglobulin for intravenous administration, and control group (n=18) where patients did not receive IVIG. Results and Discussion. The state of cellular immunity in rhesus-sensitized women is characterized by a moderate decrease in the absolute and relative indices of T-lymphocytes while increasing the number of B-lymphocytes. The NK cell population did not differ from the control group. When analyzing subpopulations of T-lymphocytes, it can be concluded that the number of T-helper cells is increased and the number of T-suppressors is proportionally reduced. These changes explain the increase in the number of B-lymphocytes as a result of increasing antigenic load on cell receptors. In the group of women who received IVIG therapy, the ratio of chances of normalization of cellular immunity was 18.41 (95 % CI 2.62–166.74), T-helper – 14.93 (95 % CI) 2.45–107.8), T-suppressors – 14.57 (95 % CI 2.13 –127.57) and B-lymphocytes – 31.87 (95 % CI 4.1–333.41). According to the ROC analysis, the quality of the statistical model of IVIG application corresponds to AUC = 0.843 (95 % CI 0.689–0.941) According to the ROC analysis, the level of β-lymphocytes in the compared AUC groups = 0.58 (95 % CI 0.405–0.742).

Objective: to evaluate changes in T- and B-lymphocyte subpopulations at different stages of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Patients and methods. The study included 53 patients with a definite RA diagnosis according to the 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria (mean age 54.2 [47; 62] years). Group 1 included 27 patients (25 women and 2 men) without history of synthetic disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (sDMARDs) intake, group 2 included 26 patients (22 women and 4 men) receiving sDMARDs (methotrexate or leflunomide). The control group consisted of 29 healthy volunteers (23 women and 6 men), the median age was 58.5 [53; 62] years. In all participants flow cytofluorometry according to the standard technique with immunophenotyping of T- and B-lymphocytes was performed. Results and discussion. Compared to controls, patients in group 1 who had not previously received sDMARDs showed a transient increase in "switched" memory B-cells, transient B-cells, and plasmablasts, which was not observed in patients of group 2 (on sDMARDs therapy). Patients with advanced RA showed a statistically significant decrease in the absolute and relative number of memory B-cells, the absolute and relative number of "switched" B-lymphocytes, as well as the number of plasmablasts and transient cells. In RA patients, a statistically significant rela tionship was established between the number of swollen joints and the level of plasmablasts (r=0.51), memory cells (r=0.54), and "switched" B-cells (r=0.41), p< 0,05 in all cases. There were no statistically significant changes in other subpopulations of B-lymphocytes and the profile of T-lymphocytes.Conclusion. Changes in the B-lymphocyte profile are characteristic of different stages of RA. At an early stage, there is an increase in the number of transient B-lymphocytes, plasmablasts and plasmocytes, and in the advanced stage, a decrease in the level of certain populations of B-lymphocytes, such as memory B-cells and "switched" B-lymphocytes. It can be assumed that the ineffectiveness of sDMARDs is associated with a change in the population composition of B-lymphocytes, which requires further study.

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles (EV) of endosomal origin (multivesicular bodies, MVB) constitutively released by many different eukaryotic cells by fusion of MVB to the plasma membrane. However, inducible exosome secretion controlled by cell surface receptors is restricted to very few cell types and a limited number of cell surface receptors. Among these, exosome secretion is induced in T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes when stimulated at the immune synapse (IS) via T-cell receptors (TCR) and B-cell receptors (BCR), respectively. IS formation by T and B lymphocytes constitutes a crucial event involved in antigen-specific, cellular, and humoral immune responses. Upon IS formation by T and B lymphocytes with antigen-presenting cells (APC), the convergence of MVB towards the microtubule organization center (MTOC), and MTOC polarization to the IS, are involved in polarized exosome secretion at the synaptic cleft. This specialized mechanism provides the immune system with a finely-tuned strategy to increase the specificity and efficiency of crucial secretory effector functions of B and T lymphocytes. As inducible exosome secretion by antigen-receptors is a critical and unique feature of the immune system this review considers the study of the traffic events leading to polarized exosome secretion at the IS and some of their biological consequences.

The aim of the work was to study the influence of stimulant drugs – the regenerating biological stimulant (RBS) and Imunolac on the immunological state and productive qualities of piglets. RBS is a complex of organic compounds of animal tissue that stimulates nonspecific immunity and increases the protective functions of the body. Imunolac is a preparation of enzymatic hydrolysis of the cell wall of Lactobacillus, activating the cellular and humoral factors of non-specific animal resistance. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to find out the microclimate condition and sanitary regime in the boxes in which the experimental animals were kept; – to study the influence of immunostimulating drugs on the growth and intensity of the test pigs, their safety; to study the dynamics of immunological parameters (circulating immune complex (CIC), T-and B-lymphocytes), the content of immunoglobulins (Jg G, Jg M and Jg A) while using RBS and Imunolac. The research was carried out in the pedigree plant «Stepnoy» of the Zaporozhye region on pigs of the Large white breed × Landras. Piglets of the control group were injected with 0.9% sodium chloride solution at a dose of 1 ml/head. During the experiment, the microclimate was monitored for temperature, relative humidity, air speed, carbon dioxide, ammonia, air contamination with microflora. Cellular indices were determined from the ratio of neutrophils to E. coli according to VG Gostivu, 1956, bactericidal activity of blood serum (BASK) – according to the method of O.V. Smirnova and TA. Kuzmenoy, 1966, lysozyme activity of blood serum (LASK) according to V. Dorofeychuk, 1968. The content of T lymphocytes was determined according to M. Jondal, 1973, B-lymphocytes – according to N.S. When piglets were grown at the temperature lower than 3,5–8 °C, humidity – by 5–8% higher, the parameters of NH3 and CO2 higher by 0.8–1.2%, the contamination microflora was twice as much as recommended by the sanitary norms the genetic productive potential of the animals is not fully realized, while – the highest daily average weight gain was in the pigs, which were injected intramuscularly with RBS growth stimulant. They exceeded the animals from the control group on the 20th and 30th days of the experiment – by 24.3% and 14.4%, live weight – by 15.3% (P < 0.05). The growth rate in the animals that were injected with imunolac was less expressed; the diseases with the symptoms of dyspepsia and bronchopneumonia were registered in 5–10% of the pigs from the experimental groups that received RBS and imunolac that is 10–12 times less as compared to the control group; in the pigs from the experimental group 1, the BASK was at the level of the average values of 56.52 ± 2.03%, from the experimental group 2 – 59.48 ± 1.80%, by 5.2% higher (P < 0.05); LASK indices in the animals of the experimental group tended to increase but the differences were not trustworthy (P < 0.5); the cell indices of resistance in the pigs that received RBS were higher: the phagocytic activity of blood serum – by 4.3% (P < 0.05), phagocytic number – by 9.7% (P <0.05); the highest concentration of immunoglobulin of class Jg G (21.82 ± 0.3 mg/ml) was revealed in the animals that received RBS preparations, the concentration of the above immunoglobulins was slightly below – 19.86 ± 0.18 mg/ml in the pigs that received imunolac (0–1). For immunoglobulins of class Jg M and Jg A, the fluctuations  between the experimental groups were within the limits of 2.23 ± 0.01 and 2.36 ± 0.09 mg/ml.

The immune system of 90-day old piglets of SM-1 Novosibirsk breed piglets depends on sex and stress-reactivity. Stress-reactivity was measured using halothane test. The immunologic testing was performed 30 days after weaning. Our results show that overall piglet immune system demonstrated high proliferative activity of T- and B- immunocompetent cells with active formation of mature active T-and B-lymphocytes and did not show signs of immunosuppression. Compared to guilts, barrows had higher concentration of leucocytes, T-and B-lymphocytes, killer-supressor T-cells, activated and poorly differentiated T-lymphocytes. Gilts had higher production of inductor-helper T-cells, IgM and IgG when compared to barrows. Stress-resistant piglets had higher concentration of B-lymphocytes, IgM and IgG whereas stress-sensitive piglets had higher concentration of T-lymphocytes, supressor-killer T-cells and thymus T-lymphocytes. Gilts had higher concentration of inductor-helper T-cells than killer-supressor T-cells. Gilts overall had intensive antibody synthesis, however, stress-resistant gilts had higher IgG synthesis compared to stress-sensitive gilts. In barrows immature T-lymphocytes differentiated mainly into killer-supressor T-cells. The adaptivity of barrow immune system was characterized by high circulatory B-lymphocytes and IgM. Stress-sensitive barrows had lower antibody synthesis levels and higher T-lymphophoesis compared to stress-resistant barrows.
