Batik Nau Subdistrict has the largest rubber plantation in North Bengkulu Regency, namely 3,779 hectares, but much of it has been converted to oil palm plantation. The conversion occurred quite massively, namely 393 hectares or 10.4 percent in 2019. The research was conducted in three rubber production center villages in Batik Nau Subdistrict from January to March 2021 through in-depth interviews with 10 key informants. The data extracted relates to the patterns and factors causing the conversion of rubber to oil palm. In addition, secondary data collection and field observations were also carried out to confirm the results of the interviews. The data were processed descriptively. The results showed that there were two conversion patterns, namely direct conversion and gradual conversion. The main causes of conversions are low rubber prices and inefficient use of labor. In developing rubber farming the people must pay attention to the availability of labor in the family.

This study analyzes the "single candidate" in the simultaneous local elections in Indonesia 2018, the case of Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency (Banten Province) and Makassar City (South Sulawesi Province). The method used is qualitative with descriptive explanatory research type. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and library research (library research). Research findings, the problem of "single candidate" occurs from the nominating stage (nomination threshold and conditions of support for individual candidates), which causes political parties to be pragmatic because they do not have the ability to compete openly, so they choose to build coalitions to meet the conditions or vote in the nominating process. Empirically found factors that encourage the occurrence of "single candidate" in Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency are incumbent candidates who have high electability so that political parties count to be pragmatic by conducting coalitions. In the case of Makassar City a "single candidate" occurred because the competitor was disqualified. The problem of "single candidate" is an empirical phenomenon of the weakness of political regeneration by political parties from the center and the regions, as well as the high dowry requirements of the bearers of the candidates. The vote recapitulation results in three regions (Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency) were won by the dominant "single candidate", while in Makassar City the "single candidate" was defeated by an empty box.

The main of this article to be expressed are Cultural Values and the Religiosity Behind the Skills (Kepanritaan) of Pinisi Boat Making in a very well-known community of boat makers in Ara, Bira and Tanalemo Villages, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. This research uses the verstehen method (Weber in Ritzer and Goodman, 2004 and Kaelan, 2005) on Pinisi Boat Making Activities and Changes from the beginning to the era of shipping modernization. The data was collected by combining comprehensive data collection techniques (observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation: Sugiyono, 2007) and analyzed using interpretive post positivistic qualitative descriptive analysis method (with systemic complementary analysis procedures: Data Collection), Grouping, Categorization, and Discarding Insignificant Data (Data Reduction), Mapping Data on Causality between Data Categorization, and Conclusion: Miles and Huberman, 1995). The results of the research show that the professionalism in making pinisi boats is built on the basis of assessment with the underlying occult values. A cultural value that tends to be ecologically oriented in the sense of keeping the relationship harmonious with the natural ruler in a magical way. These values tend to weaken amid the development of shipping modernization and the development of the boat-making industry.

Ideally, the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia runs significantly, but the facts show that the market share of Islamic banks is still relatively small. This article aims to analyze the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data collection method used is the non-communication method, namely in the form of observation, literature review and experimentation through secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it shows that the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia is still relatively low. The factors causing the low market share of Islamic banks and the improvement strategy are focused on three sides: Islamic banks' internal elements, aspects of government, regulators, and characteristics of society.
