Objective: to analyze the perception of nursing students about the care given to the persistent family aggressor. Method: a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach. Madeleine Leininger’s Theory of Diversity and Universality of Care was used as a theoretical reference. The data collection took place with 37 in the last year of at a public university in Southeast Brazil. We used the technique of Projective Design with a Topic and semi-structured interview. The data were analyzed with the content analysis. Results: the examination of the narratives underpinned the construction of four categories: The care of the aggressor with the family, Recognition of family values and culture, The search for knowledge to care for the aggressor and family, Multidisciplinary and intersectoral care to confront violence. Conclusion: there is an acknowledgment that the care for the aggressor should not only be individual but should involve all those affected. For this, multidisciplinary work is important, and the search for knowledge on the subject is essential for culturally significant care.

RESUMOObjetivo: Identificar o significado para o enfermeiro em prestar cuidados para pacientes com Depressão.  Materiais e métodos: Estudo exploratório e descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, a amostra foi de 12 enfermeiras, o cenário de estudo foram Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estratégias de Saúde da Família, urbanas da cidade de Itajubá-MG. A coleta de dados foi por meio do roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada composta por questionário contendo uma pergunta inerente ao assunto. Resultados: Encontramos oito categorias como estigma da depressão, suicídio, dificuldade em lidar, tempo escasso, envolvimento familiar, aceitação da doença, acolhimento e dar medicamento, de acordo com os discursos dos sujeitos coletados na entrevista. Conclusão: Os enfermeiros não estão em contato direto com portadores de depressão no seu trabalho, não entendem que é sua tarefa identificar e encaminha-los para tratamento especializado. Sugerimos que outros estudos sejam desenvolvidos sobre essa temática.Palavras-chave: Depressão. Relação Enfermeiro-Paciente. Materials and Methods: exploratory and descriptive study with qualitative approach, the sample consisted of 12 nurses, the study scenario was the urban Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estrategia de Saúde da Família, in the city of Itajubá. Data collection was done through semi-structured interview guides consisting of a questionnaire containing a question related to the subject. Results and Discussion: we found eight categories as stigma of depression, suicide, coping difficulties, scarce time, family involvement, acceptance of the disease, host and give medicine, according to the speeches of the subjects collected in the interview. Conclusion: nurses are not in direct contact with individuals with depression in their work, do not understand that it is their job to identify and refer them to specialized treatment. ABSTRACTObjective: to understand the nurses’ feelings who care for patients that are dying at Intensive Care Unit. Method: this is about an exploratory-descriptive study from qualitative approach, which had as principal question: How do you feel taking care of patients outside chance of cure Intensive Care Unit? The sample was composed by ten nurses. It was used as a scenario, the Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital in Salvador city. Data collection occurred from August to September 2008, with recorded interviews using a semi-structured script. The content analysis proposed by Bardin was the reference used for the analysis of data, which defined the categories of analysis. Results: two categories emerged: feelings related to the patient and feelings related to with the family. Conclusion: the death is considered by nurses who deal with it in the Intensive Care Unit, as an experience of conflicting emotions, sometimes painful. Participaram desse estudo, dez enfermeiras. Utilizou-se, como cenário, a Unidade de Terapia Intensiva de um hospital público da cidade de Salvador. A coleta de dados aconteceu entre os meses de agosto e setembro de 2008, a partir de entrevistas gravadas com roteiro semi-estruturado. A Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin foi à referência utilizada para a análise dos dados, onde se definiram as categorias de análise. Resultados: emergiram duas categorias: sentimentos relacionados ao paciente e sentimentos relacionados à família. Conclusão: a morte é tida pelas enfermeiras que com ela lidam no espaço da Unidade de terapia intensiva, como uma vivência de sentimentos conflituosos, por vezes dolorosos. La muestra estuvo compuesta por diez enfermeras. Se utilizó como escenario, la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un hospital público en la ciudad de Salvador. La recopilación de datos ocurrieron entre los meses de agosto y septiembre de 2008, registrada a partir de entrevistas semi-estructuradas con el guión. El análisis de contenido propuesta por Bardin fue la referencia utilizada para el análisis de los datos, que definen las categorías de análisis. Resultados: surgieron dos categorías: los sentimientos relacionados con el paciente y los sentimientos relacionados con la familia. Conclusión: la muerte es considerada por las enfermeras para hacer frente a ella dentro de la Unidad de Tratamiento Intensivo, como una experiencia de emociones en conflicto, a veces doloroso. O presente estudo teve como objetivo conhecer a percepção de trabalhadores do sistema socioeducativo sobre o adolescente em cumprimento da medida de internação, considerando que essa percepção influencia diretamente na maneira como a medida é executada. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório de campo, com abordagem qualitativa, que utilizou como instrumento para a coleta de dados uma entrevista semiestruturada, na qual os resultados foram tratados com a análise de conteúdo na modalidade temática. Como resultados foram elencadas três categorias temáticas: 1) Motivos que levam ao ato infracional e os responsáveis por esses adolescentes; 2) O trabalho nas medidas socioeducativas de internação; 3) Entre a vítima e o vilão: A percepção dos trabalhadores sobre a efetividade das medidas socioeducativas de internação. Os trabalhadores percebem o adolescente sob a ótica do estigma de infrator. Acredita-se que essa percepção, que destacou a família como a grande responsável pelo rompimento social do adolescente, influencia diretamente no curso do cumprimento da medida, inclusive na efetivação.  É necessário ampliar essas discussões sobre os trabalhadores que participam da execução da medida socioeducativa de internação, para contribuição e reflexão sobre o seu processo de trabalho e sua interferência no direcionamento de vidas. AbstractThe present study had as objective to know the perception of workers of the socioeducative system on the adolescent in fulfillment of the hospitalization measure considering that this perception directly influences in the way the measurement is executed. It is an exploratory field study, with a qualitative approach, which used as a data collection instrument a semi-structured interview, in which the results were treated with the content analysis in the thematic modality. As results were listed three thematic categories: 1) Motives that lead to the infraction and those responsible for these adolescents; 2) Work on socio-educational measures of hospitalization; 3) Between the victim and the villain: The workers' perception about the effectiveness of the socio-educational measures of hospitalization. The workers perceive the adolescent from the perspective of the stigma of the offender. It is believed that this perception, which highlighted the family as the major responsible for the social disruption of the adolescent, directly influences the course of compliance of the measure, including its effectiveness. It is necessary to broaden these discussions on the workers who participate in the implementation of the socio-educational measure of hospitalization, for contribution and reflection on their work process and their interference in directing lives.Key words: Perception; Adolescent; Justice; Occupational Therapy. ResumenEl presente estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer la percepción de trabajadores del sistema socioeducativo sobre el adolescente en cumplimiento de la medida de internación considerando que esa percepción influye directamente en la manera como la medida es ejecutada. The male participation in the process of breastfeeding needs to be encouraged as it can contribute significantly to the prevention of early weaning. In this sense, this research aimed to identify a parent's knowledge about breastfeeding. This is an exploratory and descriptive study with a qualitative approach, performed in the Family Health Strategy in Bom Jesus, Rio Grande do Norte State, Brazil. Data were collected through semi-structured interview with the guiding question: what is your understanding of breastfeeding? The population was 15 men with aged over 18 years old and preserved mental faculties, who lived with his wife and the child under one year of age and performed development and growth consultations in the Family Health Strategy. The interviews were conducted in place previously defined parent. The information was organized as content analysis Bardin, giving rise to two categories and analyzed according to the symbolic interacionism. It was observed that parents of participating antenatal clinics have more knowledge about it and recognize the benefits of breastfeeding in this way can encourage their wives in order to exclusive breastfeeding.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the feelings of suffering that Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurses experience, and the strategies they use to face these feelings. It is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach and based on content analysis. The study used previous studies on Work Psychodynamics as complementary groundwork. Data collection occurred by means of semi-structured interviews, which were transcribed, categorized, and subcategorized. Results showed that suffering is related to: taking care of a young patient in critical condition, taking problems home, the patient's family, the team's work, and technology at work. As for the defense strategies used, emphasis is given to the search for strength in religion, promoting inter-relationships among team members, engaging in physical activity, and withdrawing from the patient.

OBJECTIVE: to understand the contributions of ludic care in nursing by stimulating the acceptance of chemical detoxification from crack on the perception of people in the detoxification process. METHODS: an exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative approach, performed with five people hospitalized for chemical detoxification from crack, from March to July 2013 in a chemical detox unit of a midsize hospital in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul. Data was collected using a semi-structured interview and was subjected to content analysis. RESULTS: Two categories emerged: Ludic care in nursing as a stimulus to the acceptance of chemical detoxification; Ludic care in nursing in the promotion for healthy living after chemical detoxification. CONCLUSION: ludic care in nursing proved to enhance the acceptance of chemical detoxification from crack in the reality investigated.

The purpose of this study was to describe how to implement the REACT strategy to develop students’ mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study was grade 8 junior high school student in Bandung. Data collection techniques in this study with observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on data analysis results, it could be concluded that REACT strategies can be applied to develop a mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability that engages students actively. Implementation of the REACT strategy runs smoothly and gets enthusiastic responses from students. The application of REACT strategies should be undertaken sustainably so that the learning objectives can be achieved by integrating various mathematical skills that were capable.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui kebutuhan program eduwisata TBM Teras Baca Guyub Rukun dan diperoleh rencana program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata TBM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Pengelola TBM, tutor, masyarakat, dan ahli. Setting dalam penelitian adalah aktivitas TBM. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data didukung oleh triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kebutuhan program eduwisata TBM berupa pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdawis). (2) diperoleh rencana program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata yang terdiri dari (a) input (b) proses (c) output, dan (d) outcome. Oleh karenanya, perlu ada tindakan pemberdayaan TBM dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terutama program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata.Kata kunci: Kebutuhan, program, eduwisata, TBM AbstractThis research aims to: find out the needs of the program Eduwisata TBM and obtained the Plan education program Pokdarwis based Eduwisata TBM. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study is the management of TBM, tutors, local community and expert. The Setting in the study is TBM.  Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models, namely the reduction of the data, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The validity of the data is supported by the source triangulation and method. The results of this research show that: (1) the need of program eduwisata TBM in the form of tourism Conscious Group (Pokdawis). (2) obtained the Plan of Education program Pokdarwis based eduwisata TBM consisting of (a) inputs (b) process includes (c) outputs and  (d) outcomes. Aim: to determine the viewpoint of professors on developing managerial skills inundergraduate nursing students. Methods: an exploratory and descriptive study, using a qualitative approach, undertaken with nine professors of a higher education institute located in Guarulhos, between the months of January and May 2013. The data were systematically evaluated using content analysis. Results: five major topics emerged: The development of an academic approach to nursing care; the importance of acquiring techno-scientific knowledge; student’s struggles regarding managerial subjects; teaching strategies for bringing theory and practice together; professional managerial skills to be developed in the future. Conclusion: the professors made use of the connection between theory and practice to facilitate the process of teaching and learning.  They acknowledged the importance of developing managerial competencies, although they could only designate three of them. They point to them as being vital for the development of managerial activities.

Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, involving 14 families of children with mental disorders assisted at the Psychosocial Child Care Center of Maringá, Paraná, Brazil. The objective was to understand the experiences, feelings and reactions of families of child with mental disorder. Data were collected from January till April 2013 through open interviews and then analyzed using thematic Content Analysis. Two categories emerged "Living with mental disorder in childhood: a daily battle" and "Feeling and reacting: experiencing the mental disorder in childhood". It is concluded that the family needs to understand the disease to accept it and thus learn how to live with it, and it is up to the nurse to provide support in order to face the difficulties.
