The aim of this study was to present the implications of the use of herbs during pregnancy, pointing out those that should be avoided during this condition because of their abortifacient and/or teratogenic potential. We carried out searches in the databases ScienceDirect, Scielo and Google Scholar, adopting as criteria for inclusion: book chapters and/or complete articles (with abstract), available in English, Portuguese or Spanish, published from 1996 to in 2011. After a pre-selection of 83 articles, 49 bibliographies were used in the manufacturing end of the article, where 25 were from the Scielo database, 18 from ScienceDirect and 6 from Google Scholar. From the articles studied, we identified the four most commonly used plants as emmenagogue/abortifacient agents by patients of the Department of Prenatal SUS: senne, arruda, boldo and buchinha-do-norte or cabacinha. Thus, we conclude that people often adhere to the maxim "if it's natural, it does no harm" in their rational use of natural products, without the right guidance, believing that these products are safe to use. This usage is even more worrisome among the elderly, pregnant women and children. Regarding the safety of these products, some information and reliable data are scarce or contradictory.

Background: Every woman has the right to have children. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the Jurisprudence study of the importance of the role of a woman right to have a child. Methods: A review of the literature with keywords of motherhood. The viewpoints of the jurists, jurisprudent law, right contraception and breastfeeding, spiritual rewards, pregnant women, instinct of having a child and the Quran. The Information Centers such as Scopus and Iranmedex, Magi ran SID, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Pub med, and in the returns without any time limitations up to 2018. Therefore, Qur'anic verses based on the topic and authentic Hadith texts as well as authoritative, authentic scientific articles. Results: Narrations and Quran verses on greatness and respect of a mother show the importance of the maternal role. The maternal role is a fabulous facet of perfection of a woman and Islam has considered spiritual rewards for it. In the Quran, many biological changes such as pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and taking care of a child and spiritual characteristics of mothers as the instinct seeking a child or generosity towards child have been mentioned. Islamic rules have a duty to extend this culture and aid mothers to achieve this right. Nobody can deprive a woman of it. Conclusion: In view of jurisprudent rules in Islam, if there is no limitation or natural barrier for a woman to have a child but her husband’s illogical unwillingness for having a child; this is, according to article 1130 of civil law, a kind of distress and embarrassment and the woman has the right to divorce.

: Alzheimer's disease (AD) affects the elderly and is characterized by progressive neurodegeneration caused by different pathologies. The most significant challenges in treating AD include the inability of medications to reach the brain because of its poor solubility, low bioavailability, and the presence of the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Additionally, current evidence suggests the disruption of BBB plays an important role in the pathogenesis of AD. One of the critical challenges in treating AD is the ineffective treatments and its severe adverse effects. Nanotechnology offers an alternative approach to facilitate the treatment of AD by overcoming the challenges in drug transport across the BBB. Various nanoparticles (NP) loaded with natural products were reported to aid in drug delivery for the treatment of AD. The nano- sized entities of NP are great platforms for incorporating active materials from natural products into formulations that can be delivered effectively to the intended action site without compromising the material’s bioactivity. The review highlights the applications of medicinal plants, their derived components, and various nanomedicine-based approaches for the treatment of AD. The combination of medicinal plants and nanotechnology may lead to new theragnostic solutions for the treatment of AD in the future.

Dengue Fever is a disease that often attacks the community. Sufferers of Dengue Fever are increasing every year. In this case natural treatments are still widely found drugs that can cure Dengue Fever and Typhoid Fever (tipes), to produce which medicinal plants are good, and examples according to Dengue Fever and Typhoid disease (typhus) still experience trouble. To overcome the selection of the right medicinal plants, a decision support system was created using Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy Mamdani using Matlab system test aids. The method used in decision making is the fuzzy method. The method is because the fuzzy method can be used in making multi-criteria decisions and quite well in solving identification problems that require many criteria. On the results of testing existing data obtained data by comparison between data and processes in the matlab application, the valid level of application testing is 94.4%. Based on the results of the test carried out in this study, the Decision Support System is expected to help the community to determine the symptoms that arise so that it can be known about the fever between dengue fever and typhoid (typhus) so that the selection of medicinal plants is appropriate and can be used.

Antenatal care (ANC) is an attempt to prevent the causes of morbidity and mortality in pregnant women and children. During pregnancy various physiological changes occur in pregnant women, this certainly has an impact on the psychology and health of pregnant women. TOGA (Family medicinal plants) can be used to help overcome this uncomfortable situation. Plants that can be used by pregnant women include, such as ginger, red spinach, red betel, green betel, tomatoes, and broccoli. There is a possibility of abnormalities such as bleeding, preeclampsia, and infection during pregnancy. Therefore there is a need for monitoring in the form of Antenatal Care during pregnancy and the mother’s understanding of early detection of the risk of abnormalities during pregnancy. This community service is carried out to increase community knowledge around the Sawangan Depok Community Health Center about the importance of ANC and the use of TOGA in pregnant women as well as training in the introduction of several abnormalities and emergencies during pregnancy through counseling with lecture media, pamphlets and pocketbooks on ANC and the use of TOGA. Sustainability in forest and society despite “overmaturity” and “lack of regeneration” (essay) This essay compares efforts to move towards sustainability in the forests with those in the care for the elderly in Switzerland, and tries to draw conclusions which may promote sustainability. It is wrong, for forests and human populations, to talk of “overmaturity”, as this assumes the primacy of economic reasoning. To guarantee sustainability, the balance between all aspects is crucial. To attain true sustainability, we need binding guidelines and the “right” scale of implementation programme. Civil society organisations have been working for decades – often longer than the state itself – to improve sustainability. In many different areas, good cooperation and effective distribution of tasks between these institutions can be observed. This is important, among other things, because the ever greater speed of technical progress may overwhelm the adaptive capacity of both forests and people, which would influence sustainability in a negative way.
