The present research article contains the legal analysis of prescription of the procedure and levels of law making in the field of civil and town planning legislation. The authors have explored their nature and origin, which will help fill the gaps in legislation and eliminate the existing conflicts of law. The current town planning legislation is of complex nature, so it cannot be applied without taking into account civil law, which directly influences town planning relations. It is worth mentioning that both town planning and civil law relations depend on the set of other constitutional principles related to the right of ownership, right of undertaking entrepreneurial or other economic activities, intellectual property right, etc. Interrelation and differentiation of regulations of town planning and civil legislation are currently essential. Civil legislation is manifested mainly by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, which regulates property and some non-property yet associated relations that concern town planning activities. For the last years, the Russian legislation has paid much attention to statutory regulation of town planning relations, passing the way from federal laws to codification. The present paper focuses on the social and economic role of town planning and its place in current times.

This article analyses in four stages the potential of unconditional access to resources in the conformation of free (re)productive relations. Firstly, it defends a notion of (economic) democracy requiring the presence of unconditionally predistributed resources. Secondly, it explores the link between predistribution and bargaining power. Thirdly, it presents the right to existence as a condition for an effective social cooperation worth taking care of. Fourthly, it discusses the role of basic income in processes of nationalisation of economic life understood as the expression of the democratic will of citizenry.

The aim of this study was to present the implications of the use of herbs during pregnancy, pointing out those that should be avoided during this condition because of their abortifacient and/or teratogenic potential. We carried out searches in the databases ScienceDirect, Scielo and Google Scholar, adopting as criteria for inclusion: book chapters and/or complete articles (with abstract), available in English, Portuguese or Spanish, published from 1996 to in 2011. After a pre-selection of 83 articles, 49 bibliographies were used in the manufacturing end of the article, where 25 were from the Scielo database, 18 from ScienceDirect and 6 from Google Scholar. From the articles studied, we identified the four most commonly used plants as emmenagogue/abortifacient agents by patients of the Department of Prenatal SUS: senne, arruda, boldo and buchinha-do-norte or cabacinha. Thus, we conclude that people often adhere to the maxim "if it's natural, it does no harm" in their rational use of natural products, without the right guidance, believing that these products are safe to use. This usage is even more worrisome among the elderly, pregnant women and children. Regarding the safety of these products, some information and reliable data are scarce or contradictory.

We are reporting a case of a 91-year-old male with a primary malignancy of the right parotid gland with radiographic thrombus extension within the right external jugular vein. He was treated with palliative radiation therapy to the right parotid mass with a marked clinical response. The rarity of this occurrence as documented in the review of the literature provides for uncertainty with regard to proper management. Radiographic evidence of thrombus in the absence of clinical manifestations, the role of anticoagulation, and the proper radiation target delineation were all challenges encountered in the care of this patient. Our case represents a rare occurrence with unique radiologic findings that has implications for management.

This chapter compares defense rights, duties, norms, and practices in common law and civil law jurisdictions. It first provides an overview of international norms regarding defense rights, focusing on the elements of the right to fair trial that are substantially reflected in international normative instruments. It then examines the “role” of the suspects and the accused in common law and civil law systems, along with the range of defense rights, at both the investigative and trial stages, and how they may be articulated, using the European Union’s procedural rights program as an exemplar. It also highlights the challenges to implementation across both adversarial and inquisitorial jurisdictions. Finally, it asks whether normative standards may be meaningfully applied across jurisdictions in the context of different procedural traditions, and the significance of criminal justice processes in the development and confirmation of national identities.

The development of the economy of shared consumption (sharing economy) is recognized as one of the markers of the digital economy. Innovations and advances in digital technologies contribute to the creation of a large number of IT platforms that bring together an unlimited number of participants able to share resources. In what organizational and legal form is the activity within the framework of sharing economy permitted? Today, business and non-profit entities work in the field of sharing economy. The participation of business entities reflects the ideas of access economy, within which the features of a market economy are preserved. Associations of persons that do not seek profit may be formed in the form of a non-profit organizations or act as a civil law community with the right to make decisions incurring legal consequences on behalf of the associations without the status of a legal entity. The role of civil law communities for the development of models of sharing economy is great, so the rules governing their activities need further improvement.

Lung cavities are not typically associated with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). CAP due to P. aeruginosa is rare and even less commonly causes necrotizing pneumonia. We report a case of P. aeruginosa CAP that progressed to necrotizing pneumonia and was eventually fatal. Procalcitonin (PCT) has been well investigated in guiding antibiotic therapy (especially CAP) in adults. In this case, PCT at presentation and sequentially was negative. We discuss this caveat and present hypotheses as to the sensitivity and specificity of PCT and C-reactive protein (CRP) in these patients. To better characterize P. aeruginosa CAP, we undertook a review of cases indexed in PubMed from 2001 to 2016 (n=9). The data reveal that risk factors for P. aeruginosa CAP include smoking, alcohol use, obstructive lung disease, sinusitis, and hot tub use. The route of infection for P. aeruginosa CAP remains unknown. One of the most interesting findings on reviewing cases was that P. aeruginosa CAP involves the right upper lobe in the vast majority. We suggest that when physicians in the community see patients with distinctly upper lobe necrotizing or cavitary pneumonia, they should consider P. aeruginosa in their differential diagnosis. Further studies are needed to clarify route of infection, role of PCT and CRP, and optimal therapy including drug and duration.

Abstract: Pregnant women are susceptible to various diseases, such as infectious diseases because fetus identified as a foreign object to immune system. Body will accommodate this situation with the immunosuppression process. Cellular immunity is last line of defense in pregnant women that susceptible to infection, researchers interested to conducting a literature review about role of cellular immunity in pregnant women. This study aims to determine role of cellular immunity in pregnant women. Collecting data use three databases, namely: Sciencedirect, Pubmed and Google Scholar. Ten literatures met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. It consists of various types of research designs: three cross-sectional studies, three article review studies, two case control studies, one systematic review study and one longitudinal study. The results of the literature review showed: Decreased number of T cells; CD8+ and Th1 cells activity is increased in viral infections; Th1 / Th2 shifting occurs during pregnancy; Infection that occurs during pregnancy likely to have a negative impact on the mother and the fetus; and Vaccination can increase immunity of the mother and fetus against infectious diseases. Cellular immunity maintains the stability of the functions of mother and fetus during pregnancy by adjusting the quantity between Th1 and Th2 cells. Keywords: Cell-mediated Immunity, Pregnant Women, Pregnancy   Abstrak: Wanita hamil rentan terhadap berbagai macam penyakit, seperti penyakit infeksi karena janin dianggap sebagai benda asing oleh sistem imun tubuh.

Abstract. This contribution consists of a critical review of the literature about the articulation of two traditionally separated theoretical fields: social representations and commitment. Besides consulting various works and communications, a bibliographic search was carried out (between February and December, 2016) on various databases using the keywords “commitment” and “social representation,” in the singular and in the plural, in French and in English. Articles published in English or in French, that explicitly made reference to both terms, were included. The relations between commitment and social representations are approached according to two approaches or complementary lines. The first line follows the role of commitment in the representational dynamics: how can commitment transform the representations? This articulation gathers most of the work on the topic. The second line envisages the social representations as determinants of commitment procedures: how can these representations influence the effects of commitment procedures? This literature review will identify unexploited tracks, as well as research perspectives for both areas of research.
