In an interface between psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics, considering stylistic monitoring (speech à oral activities à reading aloud) and the necessary conditions for early literacy, this paper presents the reading profiles of 3rd grade students from elementary school and relates them to performance on a reading comprehension test and to the occurrence of variable features of speech in reading aloud. The results show that the reading aloud which presents variable features of speech cannot be considered “inaccurate”; instead, these features occurred only in proficient and word-to-word types of reading, and only by students who reached higher levels on the test.

The present article aims to compare the performance in students with Attention Deficit Disorder to those who do not present it, in tasks of reading comprehension and text production carried out by students attending the fourth grade of primary education. This quantitative, non-experimental comparative study aims to provide evidence regarding the way in which this condition limits the learning outcomes in the tasks of comprehension and production of texts, language, and communication. One the main findings of this research was that students with attention deficit disorder showed lower reading comprehension performance than their peers who do not presented this diagnosis. This same tendency was observed in the results of the texts production tasks. This implies that the disorder affecting the attention in students with it interferes in the process of language learning. This generates challenges and new questions for those who do research in this topic; and for the case of teachers, it presents new challenges when planning the teaching in order to adapt it to the specific requirements of these students in the area of language.

Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar pemahaman                     membaca bahasa Inggris Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the results of studying reading Comprehension for students who are taught by media computer based learning is higher than  audio visual media, (2) the results of learning Reading Comprehension for students who have the high creative thinking ability is higher than low ones and (3) interaction between learning media and creative thinking skills in influencing students’ learning outcomes of Reading Comprehension. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with 2 x 2 factorial. The analysis technique using the analysis of variance of two lanes (Two Way Anova 2 x 2) with significance level a = 0.05 using the Test-F, a further test testing use Tuckey test. The findings show: (1) there is a significant difference between the results of studying Reading Comprehension for the students who are taught by media computer based learing and audio visual media , (2) there is a significant difference between the results of studying Reading Comprehension for students who have the creative thinking ability  higher than the low ones, and (3) there is no interaction between the learning media and creative thinking ability, then media computer based learning can be used for the students that have  high creative thinking ability or the low ones to give the effect in mastering the learning material then the learners' could get the high achievement in Reading Comprehension.  . This study aimed to examine the development of Mandarin learning models using AKK (Active, Creative, Communicative) based on cartoon media for reading comprehension learning, which contains (1) the process of developing the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media, ( 2) the quality of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media, (3) the effectiveness of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin text for tenth graders. This developmental research uses the Research and Development (R&D) model proposed by Borg and Gall. Based on the use of this R&D model, the data collection of this study used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language gets some results (1) the process of developing the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media runs smoothly and appropriately, (2) the quality of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language is very suitable as seen from the results of the RPP validator, material, instruments, and media validation, (3) the effectiveness of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative , Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language, obtained results for products of 5.77 with a significance level of 5% and for the results of observations made continue to increase from 85%, 82.5%, 95%, and 97.5% based on Likerrt scale is very strong. The AKK Learning Model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language is very appropriate to be used in the learning process and there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class X IPS 1 of SMA Khadijah Surabaya.

The purpose of this study is to make improvements in the learning process and improve learning outcomes Indonesian fourth grade student at Arrayaahiin Elementary Islamic School west C ikarang Bekasi District using the PQ4R method (Preview, Question, Read, Recite, Reflect and Review.) This research was conducted in SDI Arrayaahiin Bekasi Regency. This research method is a class action research that uses a spiral or cycle model from Kemmis and Taggart. The cycle is carried out twice with four rounds of each cycle, namely planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. That is, in the first cycle, the percentage of reading comprehension reached 67%, with a teacher observation size of 93%. In the second cycle, the percentage of reading comprehension reached 80%, and observation measured 94% of teachers. Once discovered, there is a gradual increase in learning after the action. The PQ4R method not only helps students in the skills expected in the learning process at school. However, it is very important to equip students with a systematic learning method. The method of use for the benefit of the studio will produce supported understanding, not memory. Understanding that discuss relative will last longer in the brain, than just remembering the facts.
