This paper examines the validation instrument used to measure the psychometric status of the self-employment intentions. Self-employment intentions are crucial to identify the university students in order to confirm their decision making. They are a questionnaire to measure graduation in university to start choice on their careers. This instrument is composed of 11 items and was carried out to 115 international students studying in one Indonesian higher education. There were 49 male and 66 female respondents involved in this study. The Cronbach’s Alpha value was .94 which strongly suggest that the instrument has an excellent reliability. This study points out that self-employment intentions are suitable to be used by college personnel and counselors to examine and identify self-employment intentions among international students in Indonesian higher education. Implications for future study will also be discussed.

The world’s economic development has demanded a university to produce more skilful and competitive students. Therefore, the university has played a significant role in designing the best curriculum which is in line with the market need. Fulfilling those demands and needs, students must meet all the requirements stipulated by the curriculum but somehow, some of the students are experiencing stress due to their inability to meet the university's curriculum requirements. Although the students are under pressure they are still able to control it by using humour. Based on a study conducted on 200 university students, the results showed that the level of stress among students was a moderate level with symptoms such as dry mouth and hands shaking. In addition, the findings indicated that academic factor has a strong influence on students’ stress rather than financial and family factors. However, the results also indicated that students are able to control their stress levels based on their own attitude of humour namely; the affiliative humour and the self-enhancing humour.

ABSTRACT The present article analyses the paraense student movement during the military regime from 1964 to 1985, as well as its alternative press, an important channel of communication through which strategic information of mobilizations and actions of the category, contrary to the new established order, circulated. While no statistical change was observed in line with the age and accommodation factors, statistical significant changes were identified in the case of self-respect, anxiety and Depression levels in line with the gender and the type of sports done (p<0.05). It is contemplated that the changes between the female and male students stem from the cultural structure in addition to the social structure, social responsibility, and duties, and it can be said that the reason for the values of self-respect, anxiety, and Depression in students performing team sports are more positive than those of the students doing individual sports arises from the specific structure of the sportive branches. Keywords: University Student, Anxiety, Self-respect, Depression, Sports

ABSTRACTThe interest of this work focuses on the great importance of emotional intelligence has gained in recent years and as, according to Goleman (1996), the union of reason and emotion is fundamental to understanding the development of human intelligence.
