Learning Social Studies (IPS) is a compulsory subject taught. Learning IPS has a very wide range of material. Reality on the ground results of test scores of fourth grade students of SDN Babakan Tarogong 5 in social studies subject of natural resources, economic activity and technological advances in the district / city and province is still very low. This is due to social studies learning not meet minimum completeness, because the strategy used so far have not matched the learning process. The purpose of this study to determine the activities of students in participating in learning by using learning strategies of problem solving. The results of this research has reached the average value of the class.Keyword : Natural resources, economic activities, technological progress.

Learning in class IV on PJOK subject matter, Basic Engineering Material, Herding Ball in Soccer Games, mastery of the material is still very low. Of the 20 number of students only 7 students (35%) who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) were set at 6.5 with an average value of 61.5. To overcome the above problems, the steps that need to be implemented are using the approach to field outside the school. In application, the researcher tried on the subject of PJOK about the concept of "Basic Technique of Dribbling Ball". The subjects in this study were 20 students consisting of 13 men and 7 women. To achieve the results in accordance with what the researcher expects, the researchers implement them with II  cycles. Each cycle is 2  meetings for 3 months. In the first  cycle the average score of students was 68.3 and learning completeness reached 70%, whereas in the second cycle the average score of students was 77 and learning completeness reached 85%. The conclusion of this study is to use the field approach outside the school in the PJOK lesson on material Natural Resources and their use for economic activities can improve learning skills

ABSTRACTIn planning a lessons, teachers have the authority to develop learning strategies, one of the way is by developing lesson plans. The result of observations and interviews done in SDIT Gilmani Surabaya, shows the information stating that teachers one still using the BSNP minimum standard of lesson plan without any developments. Meanwhile, the teachers in the school are still facing difficulties in combining the knowledge and character building in the students daily lives. Therefore, this research aims to develop character based lesson plan. The lesson plans are expected to increase this students learning achievement especially on the material of natural resources of grade four elementary school. This research applies Kemp’s model. Of research and development, the developed lesson plans, consist of Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Students Worksheet, and Achievement test. The purpose of this research and development is to measure the validity of the developed lesson plan and the effectivity of of Social Studies lesson plan on natural resources material based on character building as well. The results data analysis of social sciences education materials with contextual and character approach revealed to: (1) Learning materials is got valid acknowledgment from experts, (2) Learning materials effective in improving student learning outcomes (cognitive, affective and psychomotor). Based on the result of this research, Researcher concluded that the quality of learning using developmental Social Studies on natural resources with based on character building is valid and effective. Keywords: Lesson plan, Character building based, Learning achievement. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, guru punya kewenangan untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, salah satu caranya dengan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di SDIT Gilmani Surabaya, diperoleh informasi bahwa guru masih menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran dengan standar minimal BSNP tanpa pengembangan. Sementara itu, di sekolah tersebut guru masih sulit memadukan pengetahuan dan pendidikan karakter dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Oleh Karena itu, dikembangkan suatu perangkat pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar, khususnya pada materi sumber daya alam pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan Kemp. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri atas Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), dan Penilaian Hasil Belajar (PHB). Tujuan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran IPS materi sumber daya alam berbasis karakter dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis data pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran terungkap bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid oleh ahli, (2) perangkat pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas perangkat pembelajaran IPS materi sumber daya alam berbasis karakter yang dikembangkan adalah valid dan efektif. Kata Kunci: Penelitian pengembangan, berbasis karakter, Learning achievement.

When teaching using the lecture method, students are less active in learning, after taking the scores of students' Social Studies learning outcomes, no student has scored according to the standards of maximum completeness criteria. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of learning models Examples Non Examples on Social Studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 25 Perimpah. The method used in this study is the experimental method,the type of research used is quantitative and the model used is the examples non examples model. The average student learning outcomes before being given treatment (pretest) was 46 and after being given treatment (posttest) 71.33, the value of students' social studies learning outcomes increased which means there is an influence of using the learningmodel. From the results of hypothesis testing using the T test, it is obtained thtable table that is 9.714> 2.048, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The use of non examples examples learning model has an influence on students' Social Studies learning outcomes in material recognizing the types of natural resources (NR) in SDN 25 Perimpah.

This study aims to determine the differences between cooperative learning methods of bamboo dance type on critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in social studies learning. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population used in this study were all fourth grade students, amounting to 85 students. By taking a sample of 10% of the members of the population, the sample was 40 students, 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. The technique of collecting data through tests of critical thinking skills of class IV students in social studies learning. Data analysis techniques to test hypotheses are done by calculating the statistics of independent sample tests. The results showed that the values of the experimental class and the control class were different. With the average value of the end of the experimental class 57.75 higher than the final value of the control class of 47.60. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test shows that the probability value (significance) is 0,000. Because the significance value of 0,000 <α = 0.05, meaning that this proves that there are differences in the use of the method of cooperative learning type of bamboo dance on critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in social studies learning.

The problem in the classroom is the low learning outcomes of students social studies learning. Where to solve this problem researchers apply approach with image media so that it is expected to improve results learning fourth grade students of SD Sejahtera Way Kandis in social studies learning. Method The research used is classroom action research with a groove action planning, action, observation and reflection. Subject The research was the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Palembang. The material taught in the first cycle is various ethnic groups, and the second cycle is cultural diversity. Data collection was carried out in each cycle. The data collected in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. Data collected in three ways, namely tests, observations, interviews. The results obtained on cycle I, namely from 20 students 14 students experienced completeness of learning with the percentage of classical completeness 70% and the percentage of classical absorption 77.75%, This result is still in the sufficient category so that there are still shortcomings that must be fixed. The results obtained in cycle II experienced increase, all students experience learning completeness, with a percentage 100% classical complete and 86% classical absorption. Average value teacher activity in cycle I is still in good category and cycle II is very good, and the average value of student activity in cycle I is sufficient and cycle II is located in either category. Based on predetermined indicators, it can be concluded that by using a group learning model student mastery of the material continues to increase so that it has an impact on increase in social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN 2 Palembang.

<p><em>This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in science material The Impact of Uncontrolled Utilization of Natural Resources in everyday life through Problem Based Learning. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted on the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sokaraja Wetan with a total of 15 students. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Sokaraja Wetan, Sokaraja District, Banyumas Regency. The research was conducted from October to November 2020. The results of the study showed that student learning outcomes in science materials had an increase in the impact of uncontrolled use of natural resources in everyday life. This can be seen from the average value of learning outcomes in cycle I of 62, increasing to 78 in cycle II. And in cycle III the average value rose to 78.7. The number of students who completed the first cycle was 47%, in the second cycle it increased to 87% and in the third cycle it became 93%. So it can be concluded that using the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sokaraja Wetan in science material The Impact of Uncontrolled Utilization of Natural Resources in Daily Life.</em><em></em></p>

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to improve student activity and the value or learning outcomes in social studies subjects at SMPI Bani Hasyim Singosari obtained when the teacher implements the Index Card Match strategy. The method used by researchers is classroom action research, whose research consists of 2 cycles, and four stages including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. According to the pre-cycle percentage of student activity in social studies subjects only 45% of students are active in participating in the learning process with a score that is less than KKM. After carrying out the first cycle, obtained an increase in the percentage to 68% and the average learning outcomes obtained by students are 75 in accordance with KKM standards. Then the second cycle is carried out to maximize learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This cycle began a significant increase in the percentage of student activity to 90% and students were able to reach an average value of 85, which on average has exceeded the KKM standard. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Index Card Match can be used sustainably in order to increase the activity and student learning outcomes.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><strong><em>learning strategies; active learning; educational goals</em></strong></p>

<span class="fontstyle0">The purpose of this research is: to improve understanding of social problem concept of<br />social studies through applying cooperative learning model type think-pair-share in the<br />students of Elementary School. This is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles<br />performed. Each cycles consist of four steps, there were planning, implementation of<br />action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research is fourth grade students<br />in Elementary School State 2 Kedungputeri Ngawi. Data collecting techniques in this<br />research was observation, test, interview and documentation. For data analyzing<br />techniques was reducing data, presenting data, and taking research conclusion or<br />verification. The research result can be conclude that there is an improvement<br />understanding of social problem concept of social studies in fourth grade students of<br />Elementary School State 2 Kedungputeri Ngawi. On initial conditions, the class average<br />value is 61,31 by the number of students who complete learned is 11 students (40,74%).<br />In cycle I, the average value is 79,51 with students who complete learned is 22 students<br />(81,48%). In cycle II, the average value is 91,26 with students who complete learned is 25<br />students (92,59%).</span>

The purpose of this study was to improve social studies learning outcomes by doing online learning. This research is a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) in which teachers and researchers work together. Action / effort research in the learning process in order to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 005 Kempas Jaya, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The results of this study show that teacher activities in online learning in the first cycle of meeting 1 with 76% increase in the second meeting 76.16%, in the second cycle with the percentage of activities at the first meeting of 80.33% increasing to 85.5% at the second meeting. It can be seen that the teacher's activities carried out in online learning on social studies subjects with repeated examinations were carried out with student social studies learning outcomes by implementing online learning had increased, starting from the basic score or before implementing online learning the average social studies learning outcomes obtained by students was only 56.53, At the end of the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes increased at the end of the first cycle the average value of student outcomes increased to 65.77 with an increase of 9.24 points. If you pay attention to the condition of student learning outcomes on the basic score and final test of the first cycle, because students are still not familiar with implementing online learning because this learning provides more opportunities for students to be able to use technology in the form of smartphones as a learning tool. Meanwhile, at the end of the second cycle test, the average score of student learning outcomes increased to 69.03 with an increase of 12.5 points. There has been an increase in student learning outcomes by implementing online learning.

The background of this study is the lack of IPS students' learning outcomes, from 22 students only 36.36% or 8 students who managed to achieve a minimum completeness criteria (KKM) established school with a class average value of 61.75. Based on this the researchers conducted a classroom action research with the aim to improve learning outcomes IPS students through the application of methods of discussion. This research is a class act, who performed a total of two cycles consisting of two meetings, the data of this study focuses on the data increase learning outcomes and increase student mastery learning outcomes IPS. The study states that the results of social studies students has increased in each cycle, the initial data is the number of students who completed 8 students (36.36%) with an average of learning outcomes at 61.75. In the first cycle has increased the number of students who completed up to 16 students (72.73%) with an average of learning outcomes at 73.90, and the second cycle the number of students who pass the increase to 22 students (100.00%) with a mean -rata learning outcomes at 87.75. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the method of discussion to improve learning outcomes IPS students of class V A SD Negeri 004 Tembilahan Kecamatan Tembilahan.
