The results obtained by the projective method "color test of relations" in comparison with the data of survey methods presented earlier are presented. The theoretical basis of the study was the value-normative theory of the offender A. R. Ratinov, so the main attention was paid to the analysis of the value system of corrupt officials. Features of realized and unconscious valuable preferences of corruption criminals and law-abiding citizens were revealed, their comparison is carried out. The most and least significant values, defects of legal consciousness are defined.

The article presents the first part of the study of psychological characteristics of persons who committed crimes of corruption. Law-abiding civil servants acted as a control group. The theoretical basis of the study was the value-normative theory of the criminal A. R. Ratinov's personality, so the main attention was paid to the analysis of the value sphere of corrupt officials. The systems of value orientations of corruption criminals and law-abiding citizens were analyzed and compared, the most and the least significant values for both groups and some individual features were determined. The results contradict the widespread traditional ideas about corrupt officials as Mercantile, self-interested people, who put material values in the first place. So, for corruption criminals the most important are the values: freedom, family, love, children, health, education, new knowledge, expanding horizons. Similar value preferences are typical for law-abiding citizens. The least significant values for corrupt officials are material security, entertainment, public recognition, experience of beauty, high demands and power.

The paper describes the evolution of the views of Soviet criminologists on such element of its object as the personality of a criminal. As the anthropological approach to the personality of a criminal was dominant in the criminology of the pre-Soviet period, the first Soviet criminological studies of criminal personality were based on viewing a criminal as a person with metal deviations which should be corrected therapeutically. It is noted that the social character of the Marxist doctrine, its understanding of crime as a legacy of the exploitative society, as well as the fallacy of substituting the personality of a criminal by a that of a person who committed publically dangerous acts due to mental deviations in the early Soviet criminological studies led to the termination of such research. After the renaissance of criminological studies in mid-1960s, the personality of a criminal was not immediately included in the object of criminology as an independent element. The author singles out three approaches to researching the personality of a criminal in Soviet criminology: the psychological approach that identifies certain psychological features in the personality of a criminal (defects of legal consciousness, distortions of the value system, etc) or defines a criminal as a person alienated from society; the bio-social approach that characterizes a criminal as person who is genetically or psycho-pathologically predisposed to crime and who acts on this predisposition in an unfavorable social environment. It is concluded that, in the modern period, these approaches have created a basis for a complex study of the personality of a criminal, according to which it is viewed as an aggregate of social, biological and psychological features.

the article presents data from an analytical review of civil cases related to the protection of the rights and interests of minors in disputes over the right to raise children. The main purpose of the study is to justify the need for a significant correction of the procedure for participation in them by a specialist psychologist. The article shows that a large number of conclusions of psychologists have procedural, methodological and ethical errors. The expert's conclusion, which is accepted in the case as evidence, is not evaluated for completeness, validity and correctness of conclusions. However, the presence of a conclusion of a specialist psychologist in some cases is seen by the judge as a reason for refusing to appoint a forensic psychological examination, in cases where it is clearly necessary. At the same time, in order to ensure a comprehensive assessment of the psychological components of legally significant circumstances that need to be established and proven in disputes over the right to raise children, it is important to apply a more formally defined forensic psychological study. In our opinion, if the parties submit to the court a specialist's opinion based on the conclusions of a pre-trial psychological study, it is necessary to subject it to mandatory review by specialists of state and non-state expert institutions.

The article studies of criminals who have committed unlawful acts against children. In particular, the article examines the behavioral characteristics of criminals who have committed offences described in articles 152-156, 301, 304 the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely: infringe on sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child; pornography manufacture, sale or distribution; involvement of minors into criminal activities, drunkenness, begging, gambling. The most common features of criminals who have infringed on sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child are: egoism, often turns into egocentrism, when an individual act only to fulfill his/her own interests, desires and inclinations. Criminals by chance and persistent (“evil”) criminals are distinguished. Crimes by chance are predominantly committed under alcoholic intoxication or drug agitation. The persistent type is characterized by persistent aggression, the tendency to resolve conflicts with physical strength, cruelty. People infringing on sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child are often also characterized by mental abnormalities of varying degrees. These abnormalities are also revealed in peculiarities of criminals’ value orientations: norms governing sexual relations, humanistic values are ignored by them. Criminals involved in pornography manufacture, sale or distribution of are divided into: pornography authors, manufacturers or distributors. It is almost impossible to detect such criminals; they do not show their sexual deviations in everyday life. A random thing in a frame can become a clue revealing such criminals. Pornography manufacturers have some knowledge and skills in computer technology and in printing industry, own audio and video recording equipment. As for pornography distributors, such people, as a rule, do not suffer from any sexual or mental abnormalities, do not receive obvious satisfaction from being engaged in such activities, and consider their activities only as a job, a way of money earning. As the court practice shows, minors are involved in criminal activities mainly by their family members (parents, siblings, uncles or aunts, and others). Children see criminal examples - drunkenness, fights, begging, etc. - and learn such behavior, consider them as normal or are afraid to complain, so that, join criminals. People consistently involving minors into criminal activities are characterized by developed antisocial features, deformed moral and legal consciousness. The presented criminal types and their behavior are not comprehensive; the article presents only overview.

The article presents the results of the clinical and psychological study of the styles of psychosomatic behavior and psychological defenses. Patients with confirmed diagnosis of syphilis (30 people) took part in the research. The following methods were used: questionnaire “Lifestyle index” by R. Plutchik, H. Kellerman and H. R. Conte; questionnaire of psychosomatic behavior styles by V. М. Byzova, A. E. Loviagina, E. I. Perikova; “Individually typological questionnaire” by L. N. Concentric dot is formed by dividing round AM dot into thin concentric rings, which has not only the shape characteristic of AM and FM dots, but also the features and advantages of the two dots. The Concentric Screening is a new halftone screening technology which breaks through the traditional model of reproduction image information by solid dot. To use concentric screening technology in offset printing, the first step is running single color print test to determine concentric screening parameters for the given printing condition. which is unique to concentric screening compare with solid dot printing. Through analyzing and evaluating the printing characteristics of single color print test, the paper provides the method to determine screening parameters such as screening rulings、CTP precision、the width of Ring and Space; Designing and running the four color test based on the first step is aimed to study the reproduction characteristic of concentric dot about gamut、definition、chroma, tone, compared with solid dot. The research shows that the parameters of concentric screening should be determined according to the specific production condition in offset printing. Concentric screening can obtain high saturation and present large color gamut. Also, concentric screening is suitable for high-quality products, which can accept high screen rulings and high-definition. This paper contains experimental study on the correlation between concentric screening parameters and color reproduction. The basis for evaluating concentric screening parameters is offered, and a comprehensive evaluation of its reproduction characteristics is done. This study provides a theoretical basis for the application of the concentric screening technology in offset printing.
