Peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan dan penggunaan instrumen diagnostik three-tier dengan tujuan untuk megidentifikasi miskonsepsi yang dimiliki siswa pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 4 MAN 3 Malang. Instrumen yang dikembangkan adalah instrumen diagnostik three-tier berjumlah 24 butir soal dengan 4 alternatif jawaban, 4 alternatif alasan pemilihan jawaban, dan keyakinan jawaban (yakin / tidak yakin) dengan 3 rentang tingkat keyakinan. Seluruh butir soal dinyatakan layak pada ranah materi, konstruksi, bahasa, dan kemampuan identifikasi miskonsepsi menurut penilaian ahli dengan nilai rata-rata diatas 3,26. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dan bahkan tidak memiliki konsepsi pada materi fluida statis masih cukup besar. Beberapa jenis miskonsepsi yang ditemukan diantaranya, siswa beranggapan bahwa (1) luas bejana mempengaruhi besarnya tekanan hidrostatis, (2) gaya yang diberikan pada fluida akan diteruskan ke segala arah sama besar, (3) gaya Archimedes dipengaruhi kedalaman benda dalam fluida. The researcher do research about development and application of three-tier diagnostic instrument to identify misconceptions within static fluid material. This research is due to research and development. The subject of the research is the student of 10th grade of mathematics and science 4 MAN 3 Malang. The instrument is three-tier diagnostic instrument that consist of 24 questions with 4 alternative answers, 4 alternative reasons, and the sureness of every answer (sure/not sure) with three different levels. The material, construction, language, and misconception identificational ability on every question are valid according to experts judgement with average score over 3,26. Identification's result shows that many students still get in misconception on understanding the static fluid material, even some of them don't understand at all. Sort of misconception's types that found are student belief that (1) area of the container has an effect on hydrostatic pressure, (2) force given to the fluid will be transferred in all direction propotionally, (3) Archimedes's force is influenced by the depth of object on fluid.

Arguing ability was a part of critical thinking skills which important to be mastered by the students. In fact, students’ ability to argue was still relatively low. This referred to the TIMSS report (The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) in 2011, and showed that Indonesian children’s level in science was positioned in 42 from 45 countries. One kind of efforts to improve the quality of the ability to argue was applying the model of guided inquiry. This study was aimed to develop inquiry-based learning tools (PPBIT) and analyzed its effectiveness in developing the ability to argue of students at SMAN 2 Taliwang-West Sumbawa. PPBIT was carried out by applying 4D procedure. Then, pretest posttest control group design also completely concerned in determining the effectiveness of PPBIT. There were 66 students as the sample which was scattered from two classes and was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that PPBIT was appropriately to be used for students argumentation  skills’ activities by an average of feasibility syllabus 78.71%, RPP 83.5, LKITS 75%, and Instruments KB 80.25%, and effective in improving the ability to argue the class X SMAN 2 Taliwang, particularly on the subject of environmental pollution and recycling of waste by the average score of the students' ability from 48.22 up to 85.08Keyword: PPBIT, Argument

The purpose of this study were (1) Produced a design and implemented the development of e-learning learning media with Edmodo-based Flipped Classroom model in Informatics subject of class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Mengwi, (2) Determined the subject teacher and students’ responses towards the development of e-learning learning media with Edmodo-based Flipped Classroom model in Informatics subject of class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Mengwi. The study was a Research and Development (R&D) research with ADDIE development model. This study involved students from VII A class and teacher of Informatics subject in SMP Negeri 2 Mengwi. The method of data collection was questionnaire. The result of the study showed that (1) The design and the implemented e-learning media were success implemented based on validity test from content experts, design experts, and learning media experts with Aiken's V coefficient average score  0,89 and very valid, (2) The teacher and students’ responses showed the average score were 40 for the teacher and 61,8 for the students, meaning that it was included in very positive category with very practical criteria.

Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Untuk menghasilkan rancangan dan mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan pengembangan e-modul berbantuan media CAI pada mata pelajaran Desain Grafis Bitmap Berbasis Project Based Learning Kelas X Multimedia Di Smk Ti Bali Global Singaraja, (2) Untuk mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap pengembangan e-modul berbantuan media CAI pada mata pelajaran Desain Grafis Bitmap Berbasis Project Based Learning Kelas X Multimedia Di Smk Ti Bali Global Singaraja. Model pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam pengembangan modul elektronik ini adalah model pembelajaran project based learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X Multimedia di SMK Ti Bali Global Singaraja tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Untuk mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap e-modul desain grafis bitmap diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil rancangan dan implementasi e-modul berbantuan media CAI yang telah dikembangkan pada mata pelajaran Desain Grafis Bittmap Berbasis Project Based Learning Kelas X Multimedia Di Smk Ti Bali Global Singaraja dinyatakan berhasil diterapkan berdasarkan beberapa uji yang dilakukan. (2) Hasil analisis data respon guru menunjukkan bahwa, didapatkan rata-rata skor respon sebesar 39, jika dikonversikan ke dalam tabel penggolongan respon maka termasuk pada kategori positif. Sedangkan untuk respon siswa terhadap pengembangan emodul didapatkan rata-rata skor respon sebesar 69,38, jika dikonversikan ke dalam tabel penggolongan respon siswa termasuk pada kategori positif. The learning model applied in the development of this electronic module is a model of learning based learning. The type of research used in this study is research and development (Research and Development) with the model of ADDIE development. The subjects of this study are students of class X Multimedia at SMK Ti Bali Global Singaraja academic year 2017/2018. To find out teach and student response to e-module of bitmap graphic design obtained by using questionnaire method. The results showed that: (1) Results of design and implementation of CAI media-aided e-modules developed in the subject of Graphic Design Bitmap Based Project Based Learning Class X Multimedia At Smk Ti Bali Global Singaraja declared successfully applied based on several tests conducted. (2) The result of data analysis teacher response showed that got the average score of response equal to 39, if converted into table classification of response then included in positives category. This research has aims to develop English speaking materials for grade X culinary study program at SMKN 10 Medan, first this research was conducted by Research and Development through has Six stages, they are: gathering information and data, analyzing data, designing new materials, validating by the experts, revising and the last was Final product. The subject in this research was students grade X boga 3 at SMKN 10 Medan where the students consisting of 36 students, the instrumentations for data collection  were giving a questionnaire and interview, questionnaire was administrate and it answer by the students to get the students need, and the interview was administrate to the English teacher, the result of the questionnaire and interview prove that the student need some appropriate speaking material in descriptive text that has relation with their program study, that is culinary. Thus, developing English speaking materials consist of three units: lets’ talk about chef Juna (describing People), how the smell, taste and texture of your favorite food? (Describing things) and the last units was talk about famous restaurant (Describing Place). The product has been validated by two experts, and the average score are 4, 75 are coming from English Lecture’s, the second average score 4, 89 are coming from English teacher. From the score above, it means that the product categorized as relevant for grade X students of culinary study program.Key words: R&D, English for Specific Purposes, English speaking materials, culinary study program.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis learning cycle 5-e pada pokok bahasan laju reaksi yang valid berdasarkan kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, kegrafisan, dan penyajian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan R and D (Research and Development) dengan model 4-D.  Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan angket respon guru serta angket respon peserta didik. LKPD yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh 2 orang validator yaitu dosen Pendidikan Kimia FKIP UR, kemudian diuji coba kepada guru dan 30 peserta didik dari dua sekolah di pekanbaru. Skor rata-rata validasi aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, kegrafisan, dan penyajian terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan masing-masing adalah  95,83%, 87,5%, 97,5%, dan 87,5% dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 92,08% (valid). Sementara dari uji coba terbatas pada guru dan peserta didik melalui angket diperoleh skor rerata guru 84,9% dan skor peserta didik 88,8% dengan kategori layak.   The purpose of this research has been to produce LKPD based on learning cycle 5-e on the subject of valid reaction rate based on feasibility of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation. Research is done by research and development research and development (R and D) with 4-D model. Instrument of data collection in this research is validation sheet and questionnaire response teacher and learners. The LKPD that has been developed is validated by 2 validators namely the lecturer of Chemistry Education FKIP UR, then tested to the teacher and 30 students from two schools in Pekanbaru. The average scores of validation of feasibility aspects of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation of LKPD developed were 95.83%, 87.5%, 97.5%, and 87.5%, respectively, with an overall average of 92, 08% (valid). While the trial is limited to teachers and learners through the questionnaire obtained the average score of teachers 84.9% and 88.8% of learner score with decent categories.

The objective of this study is to develop suitable procedure text materials for reading skill, for Beauty program students. It was found that procedure text materials provided in the students’ textbook were not suitable to the needs and interests of Beauty program students. This research was conducted based on educational research and development (R&D) through six steps, namely: gathering data, analyzing data, developing procedure text materials, validating procedure text materials, revising procedure text materials and final product. There are some instruments that were applied in this research namely questionnaire and interview .The subject of this study was XI Grade of Beauty program. Based on the needs analysis conducted there were 4 procedure texts related to Beauty program developed. The researcher developed the text by selecting and adapting relevant procedure texts related to Beauty program from internet and book as the sources. Then, the selected texts were adapted based on the principles of materials development in order to present well organized suitable procedure text materials. These developed procedure text materials had been validated by two experts and the average score gotten is 4.07. It is categorized “Good” since the mean is within the interval 3.40 < ≤ 4.19. It means that the developed procedure text materials for reading skill are suitable for the eleventh grade students of Beauty program. Key words: research and development (R&D), procedure text, Beauty program

The objective of this study is to develop suitable procedure text materials for reading skill, for computer and network engineering students. It was found that procedure text materials provided in the students’ textbook were not suitable to the needs and interests of computer and network engineering students. This research was conducted based on educational research and development (R&D) through five steps, namely: gathering data, analyzing data, developing procedure text materials, validating procedure text materials, and revising procedure text materials. The subject of this study was XI-3 TKJ students at SMK Harapan Stabat and the instruments used to collect the data were observation list, questionnaire, and interview. Based on the needs analysis conducted there were 6 procedure texts related to computer and network engineering developed. These texts were accompanied by vocabularies and 12 varied exercises. These developed procedure text materials had been validated by two experts and the average score gotten is 4.18. It is categorized “Good” since the mean is within the interval 3.40 < ≤ 4.19. It means that the developed procedure text materials for reading skill are suitable for the eleventh grade students of computer and network engineering.

This study aims to develop animation media using Macromedia flash based on the conceptual understanding of the subject of rectangle and rectangle. The research and development method used is 4D model proposed by Thiagarajan consisting of 4 stages, namely: (1) define; (2) design; (3) develop and (4) disseminate. Researchers use data collection techniques is a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale for the response of learners. The result of the research is the animation media using Macromedia flash based on the concept of the subject of rectangular and rectangle that is suitable for learning media. The feasibility of learning media obtained from the validation of material experts with an average score of 3.40 is categorized valid and validation of media experts with an average score of 3.32 are categorized as valid. Student response to learning media obtained in small group test is very interesting with an average score of 3.64. In the large group, test obtained criteria attractiveness is very interesting with an average score of 3.47.

Universally, the need for translator keeps increasing. This is due to the wider contact globally among countries. More common issue are also faced by countries in general. Therefore translation is required to transfer the meaning of how one issue is handled in one country and how is it in another. Based on these universities try to accommodate these needs by providing the subject of Translation in the curriculum. The objective of this study is to find out the prespective of prospective English teachers on the materials needed for Translation as Profession Subject.This research utilized Research and Development design implemented in 3 stages. First stage is identifying existing situation. The second stage is developing the material.  The third stage validation of  the product. The result of the validation shows that the book is valid with the average score is 4.30. The material was uploaded to Faculty of Languages and Arts Online System to be use din the teaching and learning process.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran animasi PowToon pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV, khususnya materi keliling dan luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, development, and disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Karangtumaritis yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, 1) skor rata-rata dari validasi ahli dengan persentase sebesar 88% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”; 2) skor rata-rata kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 93,33% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat praktis”; 3) skor rata-rata dari respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 94,73% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”; 4) skor rata-rata dari post test sebesar 76,14 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran animasi PowToon dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa kelas IV mengenai mata pelajaran matematika pada materi keliling dan luas bangun datar.This research aims to develop PowToon animation learning media on mathematical subjects in grade IV, especially on the material circumference and area of plane. This research was the kind of Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D model (define, design, development, and disseminate). The subject of this research was the grade IV SDN Karangtumaritis with totalling 22 students. Data collected with the tests, observation, question form, and documentation. Data analysis was done with a descriptive analysis. The research results obtained, 1) the average score of validation experts with percentage of 88% that are included in the category of "highly feasible"; 2) the average score of practicality with a percentage of 93,33% is included in the category of "very practical"; 3) score the average of the percentage of students with response 94,73% are included in the categories "excellent"; 4) the average score of the post test of 76,14 are included in the categories “good” so it can be concluded that the PowToon animation learning media can give insight to grade IV on subjects of mathematics on the material circumference and area of plane.
