The aims of this research were to design the integrated-skills materials for the four grade students of Islamic elementary schools, and to find out the appropriateness of the materials developed. The type of this research was Research and Development (R & D). The research model followed the Dick and Carey model in developing the materials which simplified into six steps. This research employed three techniques in collecting the data namely survey, interview and observation. Based on the techniques, the instruments of the research were questionnaires, the guideline for interview and observation sheets. The result of this study is the integrated-skills materials for the students of Islamic elementary school entitled “Let’s learn English” which consisted of integrated-skills activities and some Islamic values in every unit. The unit design of the materials presented the warming-up activity, the main activity including integrated skills activities, games, and grammar notes, glossary, reflection and general knowledge containing Islamic values. The appropriateness of the learning materials was shown in terms of content, language, presentation, and graphics. The developed materials were categorized as “very good” based on the expert evaluation. It achieved a final mean score of 3.7 which was in the range of 3.25 < x ≤ 4. The results of materials evaluation based on the students’ evaluation were categorized as “very good” which achieved 92.25%.

This study aims to develop a Serli Practicum Module (Discovery Learning) for Science learning in Class VI Elementary Schools that has met valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in Science learning in elementary schools. This type of research is research and development that uses the Peffers et al development model. The type of development research includes six phases, namely: (1) identifying problems that motivate research, (2) describing research objectives, (3) designing and developing products, (4) testing products, (5) evaluating trial results, and (6) ) communicating results. The results of the study show that the Serli Practicum Module (Discovery Learning) for Science learning in Class VI Elementary School has been valid, practical and effective. Validity values obtained are 61 with very valid criteria. Practical value of 65.73 or very practical. And the acquisition of effectiveness value is 0.70 with effective criteria.

Abstract: This research and development aims to develop application learning media about variations of volleyball games for the KKG PJOK Elementary Schools in Senduro District, Lumajang Regency. The method used is the Research and Development approach with a development research model with the steps (1) needs analysis, (2) doing product design (design), (3) product development (development), (4) implementation or (implementation), and (5) product evaluation (evaluation). The results of the whole product trial involved 22 teachers of KKG PJOK, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency. The results of the study showed the product was included in the very valid category with a percentage of 80.2 percent in small group trials with 8 activity participants and 80 percent in large group trials with 14 activity participants. So it is concluded that the product development of learning media variations of volleyball games based on the articulate storyline application has very valid criteria and is suitable for use in learning activities. Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran aplikasi tentang variasi permainan bola voli untuk KKG PJOK Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Senduro Kabupaten Lumajang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan Research and Development dengan model penelitian pengembangan dengan langkah-langkah (1) Analisis kebutuhan (analysis), (2) melakukan desain produk (design), (3) pengembangan produk (development), (4) pelaksanaan atau (implementation), dan (5) evaluasi produk (evaluation). Hasil uji coba keseluruhan produk melibatkan 22 guru KKG PJOK Kecamatan Senduro Kabupaten Lumajang. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan produk termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dengan hasil persentase 80,2 persen pada uji coba kelompok kecil dengan jumlah 8 peserta kegiatan dan persentase 80 persen pada uji coba kelompok besar dengan jumlah 14 peserta kegiatan. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan media pembelajaran variasi permainan bola voli berbasis aplikasi articulate storyline memiliki kriteria sangat valid serta layak dipakai pada kegiatan pembelajaran.

The implementation of the newest curriculum (Curriculum 2013) leads some elementary schools to finally exclude English from the schools subjects. However, some elementary schools that keep teaching English as a subject still cannot provide appropriate English teaching media, especially to teach vocabulary. In this study, the researchers aimed to know the problems faced by the English teacher and the fourth grade students of SD N 2 Sekaran in the vocabulary teaching and learning, and also to know how to develop teaching media of Kangaroo Smart Frieze. The Research and Development (R & D) approach was adopted by conducting the preliminary survey, designing and developing the prototype of the product, conducting limited testing and product validation, having a revision process and describing the research result. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sekaran in the academic year of 2013/2014. The instruments used were questionnaires, interview guideline and test. According to the interview to the English teacher and students, it can be concluded that the vocabulary teaching media of Kangaroo Smart frieze needs to be developed with the focus on the quality of the media and also the variety of games played. The development of Kangaroo Smart Frieze was started by observing and interviewing the English teacher and students. After doing that, the process was continued by planning the data collecting instrument of vocabulary teaching media. The main consideration was based on the English curriculum (syllabus) of the fourth grade students of elementary school and also some related theories. Moreover, the data collecting instrument was arranged into two main parts which included the need analysis of the students and English teacher. The further step was designing the prototype. The development process was then followed by other steps; product validation, try-out (limited testing) and revision of Kangaroo Smart Frieze. The results of the students’ test by using Kangaroo Smart Frieze as the vocabulary teaching media, and also the assessment from the experts were very good. Therefore, it could be concluded that Kangaroo Smart Frieze has a good prospect to be used in the vocabulary teaching and learning process. As suggestion, the teachers should always try to choose appropriate vocabulary teaching media, and the future researchers should conduct better research and development to develop better vocabulary teaching media for elementary school students.

The purpose of this research is to clarify the characteristics of industrial learning in Japanese elementary school social studies and to compare viewpoints on social studies in Indonesia. The following three points have become clear as a result of this research, as part of industrial learning in elementary school social studies in Japan, at the class practice level. First, in industrial learning in elementary school social studies in Japan, a unit design was conducted using factories in the area as teaching materials. Second, lessons were conducted through factory tours from the perspective of increasing awareness of the efforts of those working in factories. Third, learning processes involving learners were developed, such as research, visit activities, and discussions centered on children’s problem awareness. The above three points are considered in order to make suggestions for the improvement of industrial learning in the social studies of elementary schools in Indonesia.

Abstract: A Model for the Supervision in the Learning of Physical Education in Elementary School. This study aimed to optimize the functions of principals and supervisors in the improvement of physical education teachers’ performance. It was a research and development study in which the preliminary steps employed the qualitative approach to obtain information on the existing models at present and attempts to develop one. The result of this study showed that the model for the supervision in the learning of physical education significantly affected the performance of physical education teachers in elementary schools. In other words, the model was effective to improve the quality of teachers’ performance and students’ achievement. Keywords: supervision model, performance, physical education

This research is motivated because of the problems found in schools, namely, the LKPD used in schools is generally less attractive, both in terms of the space for filling in the less extensive answers, the color of the LKPD which does not have an attractive color, the structure is incomplete and the supporting images for the LKPD are inadequate. This research is a development research, namely Research and Development (R&D) which consists of four stages, namely: define, design, development, disseminate. in this development research using the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan (in Ratumanan, 2019: 61). The results showed that the development of discovery learning-based LKPD collected through a validation questionnaire was used to measure the feasibility of student worksheets (LKPD). The results showed that the discovery learning-based student worksheets developed were feasible and valid for learning. This is evident from the results of obtaining questionnaires by expert experts and educators who state that the development product is feasible based on the results of the linguist expert's validity test (92.5%) is categorized as very valid, aspects of rpp Validator 1 (92.5%) are categorized as very valid, Validator 2 (95.00%) which is categorized as very valid, expert design expert (98.07%) is categorized as very valid. This proves that the Integrated Thematic Student Worksheet Development (LKPD) with the Discovery Learning Model in Class IV of Elementary School is stated very valid.

This research aims to analyze the problem of the development of integrated Islamic elementary schools and madrasah in purwodadi village. The approach used is a descriptive approach to analysis of qualitative data. In addition, the data collection techniques used in the study used observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this study is the problem of the development of Islamic-based school trends (SDIT) that have an impact on madrasah. Purwodadi Village has 1 General Kindergarten and 2 TKIT, elementary school consists of 2 State Elementary Schools and 2 SDIT and Madrasah Ibtida'iyah (MI) only 1. So that the total elementary school age education institution in one village has 4 elementary schools. The development of an Integrated Islamic school in purwodadi village had an impact on madrasah. One of the advantages of SDIT has learning programs such as memorization of quran and hadith, sunnah Dhuha prayer before starting learning activities, murojaah, dzuhur prayer before school, Friday almsgiving, and other activities. These activities are then a special consideration for parents in choosing educational institutions for their children. While madrasah does not have an activity program that supports learning such as in SDIT. One of the effects is the reduced interest of students who attend madrassas. This is because of the trend of Islamic schools that develop in the village with a variety of learning programs offered.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter di SD yang valid, reliabel, dan cocok secara statistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model research and development dari Plomp dengan lima fase, yaitu: investigasi, desain, realisasi, tes, dan implementasi. Subjek  penelitian yaitu  siswa kelas V SD di DI Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, wawancara, FGD, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, formula Aiken’s V, EFA dan CFA. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu konstruk penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter telah memenuhi syarat validitas, reliabilitas, dan goodness of fit statistic; dan panduan penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter di SD dinilai komprehensif, mudah, dan praktis oleh para guru selaku pengguna.Kata kunci: keterampilan intrapribadi, keterampilan antarpribadi, pendidikan karakter.______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING OF ASSESSMENT MODEL OF INTRAPERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS BASED ON CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Abstract The objectives of this study is to develop the assessment model of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills in character education of elementary school students that fit into the criteria of validity, reliability and goodness of fit statistic. This study used plomp’s research and development model which consisted of five phases, namely: investigation, design, realization, testing, and implementation. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of the elementary schools in Yogyakarta Special Region. The data were collected using a questionnaire, documentation, interview, focus group discussion, and observation, and analyzed using the descriptive analysis, formula aiken's V, Exploratory FactorAnalysis (EFA), and  Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results of this study are as follows, (1) the assessment construct of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills based on character education for elementary school students has fulfilled  the criteria of validity, reliability, and the goodness of fit statistic. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the product of developing thematic learning media Fun Thinkers Book on the theme of various fourth grade elementary school jobs. This research used research and development methods used to produce products and test the feasibility of media Fun Thinkers Book. This study used the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The problem was the lack of thematic learning media, when learning only used student books and LKS only so students are less interested, feel bored and make concentration The students only lasted a little while.The data were obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews.This study was conducted at the fourth grade in 3 elementary schools in the District of Pucakwangi, Pati, this study produced valid media with appropriate criteria in accordance with the results of the teacher response questionaire the percentage is 97.5% with very decent criteria and the results of the student questionaire responded 98.6% with very feasible criteria.
