In general, students with visual impairment are often described as individuals with disabilities. Limitations will make they feel embarrassed, insecure and not confident. Therefore, the role of parents in the success of them is great. One effort to improve their independence is through activity of daily living (ADL) skill. ADL skills or self care include the ability to eat, dressing, and toileting. For the sighted people, that ability is an informal ability. However, for students with visual impairment, these activities become formal learned at school. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents in improving their children's ADL skills at home. Because, togetherness between parents and children more done at home than at school. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach, which try to describe the object under study based on reality. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation study. Subjects in this study were 5 parents of students with visual impairment and 1 teacher. The results of the study found that parents were willing and able to train ADL skills, although not yet optimal and in accordance with the norms and practices prevailing in the community.

The Covid 19 pandemic led to the issuance of learn from home rules for school children and work  from home for teachers, including those who work in PAUD institutions. The current situation demands maximum parental involvement and restores the nature of children's education in the family. This article will discuss the role of parents in accompanying children at home during a pandemic. The method used is the literature study method with data collection using documentation from theoretical studies obtained from books and journals. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, children's education has been carried out remotely. Learning carried out at home makes the role of parents very important. During the Covid-19 pandemic, parents not only functioned as the first and foremost place for children's education in shaping character, religious values and character but now have an additional role as second teacher for children in learning at home. Accompanying children when learning is something that is very important for children, namely to build closeness between parents and children. As for the important role of parents in accompanying children, namely children feel not alone, parents as encouragement, facilitate children's needs, a place to discuss and ask questions, help identify.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents and strategies in improving moral education in adolescents in Muslim families in the industrial era 4.0. The focus of this research problem is on how the concept of the role and strategies of adolescent moral education carried out by Muslim families in the industrial era 4.0. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that parents' understanding of adolescent moral education is still very lacking, parental understanding of Islamic religion is still minimal so that adolescent ahklaq education in Muslim households or families is very limited and the concept of family education for adolescents in moral education is to provide role models and provide knowledge of intolerance to individual teenagers at home.

Learning for students in the new normal period requires the main role of parents and teachers. The role of both determines interest in memorizing the Qur'an for students in the new normal period. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents and teachers during tahfiz learning for students, the role of parents and teachers in an effort to foster interest in learning tahfiz students, forms of collaboration between parents and teachers in order to foster interest in learning tahfiz and the level of memorization of participants. Studied at MTsN 2 Pasaman. This research method is based on a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research in this thesis are determined by the level of knowledge, the presence of parents, and interactions. So, students who have parents with good insight into tahfiz knowledge, and are more at home, then the role of parents can be given in full in tahfiz learning. On the other hand, students who have parents with less knowledge or knowledge of tahfiz, and are busy working, have a limited role in their children's tahfiz learning activities. Parents provide encouragement, messages, advice, sanctions and rewards to their children. This is done in order to foster interest in learning tahfiz students who study at madrasas or at home. Therefore, parents have performed their roles as motivators, educators, discipline enforcers, and regulators or controllers. The role of parents depends on the level of knowledge and basic tahfiz, as well as the intensity of the meeting between parents and students in interacting while at home.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana peran orangtua dan wali kelas dalam pembentukan afektif siswa dan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dan wali kelas di Sd negeri Nusa harapan permai kota Makassar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dalam penelitian ini berupa data dari hasil wawancara dengan informan dan dan hasil observasi/pengamatan, pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pedoman wawancara dengan orangtua dan wali kelas dan lembar observasi afektif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sudah ada peran orangtua dengan cara mengasuh dan mendidik anak, bekerjasama dengan wali kelas, kendala yang dihadapi orangtua adalah karena kesibukan dalam bekerja sehingga sulit dalam membagi waktu dalam mendidik anak sedangkan kendala guru adalah masih banyak siswa yang malas dan masih ada orangtua yang tidak memperdulikan kesiapan anak ke Sekolah.   The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents and homeroom teachers in the affective formation of students and to determine the obstacles faced by parents and homeroom teachers in SD Negeri Nusa Harapan Permai, Makassar City. This type of research is qualitative research. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data in this study are in the form of data from interviews with informants and observations. Data collection uses interview guidelines with parents and homeroom teachers and student affective observation sheets. The results show that there is already a role of parents by caring for and educating children, in collaboration with homeroom teachers, the obstacles faced by parents are due to busy work so that it is difficult to manage time in educating children, while the teachers' obstacles are that there are still many students who are lazy and there are still parents who do not care about children's readiness to go to school.

<p>Entrepreneurship is very important to instill independence in the younger generation. There are a number of things that have an important influence on a child's soul, including family, school and the environment. The role of the family, especially mothers as early educators who put the most important foundation for the growth of the personality and maturity of children's thinking. There are several research focuses that exist in, among others, (1) to know parents in instilling entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang. (2) to knowing the form or result of the cultivation of entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang (3) to knowing the obstacles in cultivating entrepreneurial education values in the Tempe chips industry center in Sanan, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research of community phenomena because researchers take data directly in the field. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The conclusion of this study is the role of parents in instilling entrepreneurial values is to guide and support the activities of their children in the field of entrepreneurship. The results have been well implemented through habituation. The obstacle in implementing entrepreneurship for children is the lack of parental trust so that it is difficult to teach entrepreneurship, it is difficult to determine which products are sold because they are too expensive, and the difficulty of the child to divide time.</p><p class="CPKeyword"><em><strong>Keywords: the role of parents; entrepreneurship</strong></em></p>

Perkembangan moral pada masa kanak-kanak masih dalam tingkat yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena perkembangan intelektual anak-anak belum mencapai titik di mana ia dapat mempelajari atau menerapkan prinsip-prinsip abstrak tentang benar dan salah. Orang tua merupakan tempat pertama terbentuknya moral anak. Kasih sayang yang diberikan orang tua terhadap anak, membangun sistem interaksi yang bermoral antara anak dengan orang lain. Hubungan dengan orang tua yang hangat, ramah, gembira dan menunjukkan sikap kasih sayang merupakan pupuk bagi perkembangan moral anak. Dengan demikian, maka penting sekali peranan orang tua di keluarga dalam perkembangan moral anak, karena orang tua merupakan pendidik pertama yang diterima anak ketika mereka terlahir kedunia. Adapun peran orang tua dalam pembentukan moral anak dilihat dari pegembangan pandangan moral, perasaan moral dan tingkah laku moral. Ketiga unsur tersebut terbentuk dari interaksi orang tua anak dalam keluarga yang berlangsung dari anak-anak hingga dewasa. Oleh karena itu, sudah seharusnyalah orang tua berperan sebagai teladan yang baik di keluarga untuk menjadi contoh bagi anak-anaknya.Kata Kunci: Moral, Peran Orang Tua Moral development in childhood is still in a low level. It is because of the children’s intellectual development has not already reached the level where he is able to learn or apply the abstract principles about right and wrong things. Parental is the first point of children’s moral formation. Parents’ Affection toward children, build their moral interaction systems. A warm, friendly, happy relationship and affection between parents and children are children’s moral development fertilizer. Thus, parents’ roles toward children’s moral development are very essential, because parents are the first educators for children when they got born into the world. Parents’ roles toward children’s moral formation are viewed from children’s developing moral vision, a sense of morality and moral behavior. These three elements were formed from parents and children’s interaction in a family since childhood to adulthood. This research is done because the number of students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses semester II and IV academic year 2017 - 2018 have low nationalism.. This was seen from the results of tests that showed that there were still many students of the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017-2018 academic year who did not memorize the Pancasila and Indonesian Raya, and did not understand the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of the low sense of nationalism of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018 academic year and to find out the role of lecturers of PPKn courses in increasing the nationalism feeling of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach with data collection techniques using test techniques, observation and interviews. Subjects of this study are lecturers of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses and students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in second and fourth semester of academic year 2017 - 2018. The results of this study indicate that the role of the PPKn lecturer can increase the sense of nationalism of students in the PPKn UNBAJA courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017 - 2018 academic year, such as before the teaching and learning activities are conducted in class, the lecturer always instructed everyone to pray.

Sexual violence in children case happens most in age 6-12 years. Impact of sexual violence in children is post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and revictimizations in adulthood. Role of parents in prevention sexual violence is very important because parents is the people closest to the child. The Purpose of this study is to get an overview of parents roles to prevention sexual violence in children at SDN 061 Cijerah Bandung Kulon Bandung. This study used quantitative descriptive method with samples 141 of parents at SDN 061 Cijerah from populations 530 students and used accidental sampling method.  The instrument used is a quistionnaire by researcher combined prevention sexual violence based on government program PANTS with role of parents based on BKKBN. Reability of this study has a alfa cronbach of 0,918. Data analysis used with calculate cut of point from each role of parents and categorize to good roles or less good roles. The results of this study showed that of  141 parents in general that is 93,6% had good roles. The role of parents as educators 88,7% parents had good role as educators. For incentive 90,8% had good role as incentive. For role models, 91,5% parents be a good role models.  As supervisor 85,1% parents be a good supervisors. For counselor 91,5% parents had good role as counselors. For comunicator 72,3% had good role as comunicators.

<p class="abstrak">Technology helps people. It makes it easier for them to find and use information. It also helps schools in educating children and this study focuses on the Anak Bangsa elementary school in Manado. Technology, and audio-visual media, help students learn, and it is the role of teachers to guide students in understanding technology and provide direction to them in using it well. It is also the role of parents to guide and direct their children in using technology and to help them avoid abusing technology. Addiction is one of the things that adversely affects the development of a child, therefore good cooperation between parents and teachers is needed to help develop children, both in school and at home, to be wise users of technology and audio-visual media. </p><p class="abstrak"><strong>ABSTRAK </strong>Teknologi membantu masyarakat sebagai kebutuhan kehidupan mereka, dimana kecanggihan teknologi memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi serta mengembangkan diri mereka, begitupun dalam pendidikan, dalam penelitian ini ialah sekolah dasar karya anak bangsa di Manado. Adapun audio-visual dalam dunia pendidikan untuk membantu para murid dalam pembelajaran, karena itu peran guru sangat diperlukan dalam membimbing para siswa untuk mengenal teknologi dengan baik, serta memberikan arahan kepada mereka untuk bisa memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik, begitupun peran orang tua dalam perkembangan anak sangat diperlukan untuk memberikan mereka arahan serta perhatian yang baik, karena peran orang tua memberikan nilai yang baik untuk mengindari anak dengan penyalahgunaaan teknologi. Kecanduan ialah salah satu hal yang berdampak buruk untuk perkembangan seorang anak, oleh karena itu diperlukan kerja sama antara orang tua dan guru yang baik untuk mambantu perkembangan seorang anak baik dalam dunia pendidikannya, serta kesharian nya. Karena itu akan sangat mempengaruhi masa depan mereka.</p>

This study aims to determine the strategies of teachers, especially teachers in anticipating violence against students.One of the phenomena that has caught the attention of the world of education today is violence that occurs in the school environment. Violence between students will certainly affect the learning conditions in the classroom. Students who experience physical and verbal abuse will certainly feel psychologically disturbed. Disturbed psychological conditions will also trigger disruption of the enthusiasm and interest of students in learning.The role of the teacher is very necessary to reduce even if it can eliminate the condition. Based on these problems, this study aims to: (1) determine the role of PPKn teachers in anticipating violence against students; (2). Knowing the obstacles of PPKn teachers in anticipating violence against students; (3). know what efforts are made by the PPKn teacher in anticipating violence against students. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documentation conducted in the environment of SMK 17 Serang City. The research results obtained in the field show that the PPKn teacher's strategy in anticipating violence in children is to provide understanding related to norms about diversity, fostering character to care for each other, carrying out positive activities in the school environment such as extracurricular or social activities. others in the classroom environment and broadly in the school, and invites parents to control the activities of children in their environment.the strategy carried out by the teachers is done as an effort to prevent and deal with violence against students.
