Kata Kunci: Moral, Peran Orang Tua Moral development in childhood is still in a low level. Several lessons are drawn for future research on parenting and moral formation on the basis of an historical perspective on the moral development research program. One is that sociomoral formation is a special case of personality development that draws attention to the role of attachment, event representations, autobiographical memory, and temperament for organizing dispositional coherence around morality. A second is that research on moral development in the family will be increasingly informed by study of the moral self of infancy and on the importance of early life rearing experience, widely discussed in disparate literatures from object relations to epigenetics. A third line of research might focus on parenting characteristics “beyond parenting style” to include parents’ ideological and faith commitments, their mindsets with respect to children’s personality and capacity for change, and their own sense of generativity.

Abstract  Marriage is a sunnatullah for Muslims with one of its aims to develop Islam at the quantitative level. But the development of Islam qualitatively must also get the attention of various groups (parents, society, and government). Highlighting the importance of the role of parents in children's education as one of the closest figures to children, they need to understand how Islam provides concrete examples in educating children. The role of the family in assisting children to reach the stages of their social-intellectual development requires to be following the educational models contained in the Qur'an (such as Lukman's letter) and also the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Golden age (early age) child development needs to get soft touches of education from both parents, without using physical or psychological violence to create generations of great future Muslims.

The role of parents is very important in building a child's personality. It becomes not easy when the role is only carried out by a single mother. This article aims to examine how the effects of interpersonal communication is done by singgle mother to change the attitudes of children. The importance of doing interpersonal communication is then seen also using nass. The study was conducted on two single mother informants and their children using interview and observation methods. One of the single mother informants became the single mother because of a divorce and the other because her husband passed away. They both chose to raise their children themselves so they had to play a dual role in the family. They become mothers as well as the breadwinners of the family. This fact raises deception, which is the act of avoiding hurting others by lying, between mother and child. The existence of interpersonal communication can then minimize the existence of deceptions in the communication process which can affect the relationship between parents and children.

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that early identification of the child’s psychological characteristics and unfavorable situations of upbringing in the family could contribute to the correction of his asocial behavior, primarily by creating conditions for subject-subject interaction between parents and children, necessary for the formation of a full-fledged personality. The purpose of our study is to study the attitude of parents to psychological training as a condition of subjectsubject interaction, and a way to prevent asocial behavior of adolescents. In the study, first of all, the conditions of subject-subject interaction, such as a set of cognitive, active and experimental role-playing games, were determined and practically confirmed. The conditions should be based on humanistic ideas and aimed at developing the child’s own activity with the help of parents, in the mode of subject interaction. Also, in the system of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents, the leading role of parents through subject-subject interaction is determined. The article analyzes the essence and content of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents from the position of subject-subject interaction with parents. The concept of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents by subject-subject interaction of parents and children was proposed. The analysis of the results of the empirical work allowed us to state the dynamics of value-trust interaction in the family, and the implementation of a set of training exercises, through subjectsubject interaction, ensured the effectiveness of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents. The results of the study can be used by social educators, psychologists, and subject teachers, teachers of pedagogical universities in order to improve the process of subject-subject interaction between parents and children in the prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents.

The purpose of this chapter is to review research on the role of religion in moral development within the family. We first present a model of the processes involved. Parent or family religiosity is the most distal predictor and affects moral development through its influence on parenting as well as child or adolescent religiosity. Additionally, parenting affects moral development directly, but also through its influence on child or adolescent religiosity. In other words, parent or family religiosity dynamically interconnects with parenting styles and practices, and with family relationships, and these in turn influence moral development directly as well as through child or adolescent religiosity. We also discuss how these processes might vary across faith traditions and cultures, and point to directions for future research.
