The purpose of the research was to find out correlate between learn time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th  grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta. The genre of this research is descriptive researchment. The population in this research were all students of 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta with amount 593 students and the samples taken at proportional random sampling with amount 113 students. Data collection method used was a questionannaire and a test technique. Analysis using descriptive analysis of data, multiple regression, and partial correlation. In the major hypothesis test is obtained R = 0,747 and R2 = 0,558 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. Then in the first minor hypothesis test is obtained ry1-23 = 0,443 with         sig=0,000 < 0,05; the second minor hypothesis test is obtained ry2-13 = 0,370 with sig=0,000 < 0,05; and the minor third hypothesis test is obtained ry3-12 = 0,344 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. So there is a positive and significant correlation between learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta as collective and partial. It is expected that students care about learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities to  mathematics learning achievement increasingly.

This paper discusses the development of collaborative learning models in modification by means of active learning, in this development to follow up P1, where in P1 there are still many weaknesses weakness after identification on its application, it is hoped that this P2 can cover all the weakness and can cover the deficiencies in every development, hope development that will be done so as to create a new model of learning and can be applied to learners on mathematics. Learning activities of learners are seen before and after the development of active collaborative learning model (KA). By increasing the learning activities of PKBM environmental learners in Cengkok Village, Ngronggot District Nganjuk Sub-Province, it can be useful to motivate and increase learning activities so that the learning achievement of Mathematics is conducive for students who are trying to get C package.   Makalah ini membahas tentang pengembangan model pembelajaran kolaboratif di modifikasi dengan dengan cara belajar aktif,  dalam pengembangan ini untuk menindak lanjuti P1, dimana pada P1 masih banyak kelemahan kelemahan setelah dilakukan identifikasi pada penerapannya, dihaharapkan pada P2 ini dapat menutupi segala kelemaahan dan dapat menutupi kekurangan-kekurangan pada setiap pengembangan, harapan pengembangan yang akan di lakukan sehingga menciptakan suatu model pembelajaran yang baru dan dapat di terapkan pada peserta didik pada matapelajaran Matematika. Aktivitas belajar peserta didik dilihat sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan pengembangan model pembelajaran kolaboratif aktif (KA). Dengan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik lingkungan PKBM di Desa Cengkok Kecamatan Ngronggot Kabupaten Nganjuk, dapat bermanfaat untuk memotivasi dan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar sehingga tercapai pembelajaran Matematika yang kondusif bagi peserta didik kejar paket C.

<pre>This research aims at revealing the effect of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy towards learning achievement of the 8th grade students in SMP Islam Terpadu Ar-Rahman south of Jakarta. This type of research is a survey method. Data instruments are emotional intelligence questionnaires and self-efficacy questionnaires, the mathematics learning achievement data from the daily test scores of students through the description questions. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis of significance between emotional intelligence on mathematics learning achievement showed the results as much as 0,551 (0,551 &gt; 0,05), self-efficacy towards mathematics learning achievement as much as 0.333 (0.333&gt; 0.05). The significance of variance analysis was obtained at 0.350 (0.350&gt; 0.05). The results of this data analysis show that emotional intelligence and self-efficacy together no meaningful affect the learning achievement of mathematics. The implication of this study is that students who have high and moderate emotional intelligence and self-efficacy do not have a significant effect on improving learning achievement, thus emotional intelligence and self-efficacy are not the main factors that influence student learning achievement.</pre>

This research aims to find out the influence of the cooperative learning model of STAD type toward mathematics learning achievement of 8th grade student in SMPN 7 Mataram first semester academic year 2019/2020 on the subject matter of relations and functions. This true experiment research was designed using pretest-posttest control group design. Two classes were selected as a research subject with cluster random sampling technique, namely class VIII-B as the experimental class and VIII-C as the control class. Data collection tehniques were used observation and tests. The statistical analysis used was t-test gain and effect size to see the influence of using the STAD type cooperative learning model toward students' mathematics learning outcomes in SMPN 7 Mataram. The results showed there were differences in the improvement of mathematics learning achievement of mathematics between students who obtained learning with STAD type cooperative model and students who learned with direct learning model. The contribution of the STAD type cooperative learning model to students' mathematics learning achievement was in high category. This showed that learning using STAD type cooperative learning model had a positive influence toward mathematics learning achievement for students of grade 8th in SMPN 7 Mataram.

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning achievement for students who are subject to the Problem Based Learning model assisted by CD Learning and CD Interactive as well as Conventional learning models on flat-build material. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta Timur in the academic year 2017/2018. By using selected cluster random sampling techniques VII 3 as the control class, VII 6 and VII 7 respectively as the experimental class PBL models assisted CD learning and assisted PBL models CD Interactive. Data were obtained by documentation and tests, then analyzed by Normality, Homogeneity, One-way Variant Analysis (ANOVA), Two-party and One-party Similarity Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by learning using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive, PBL models assisted by CD learning and conventional learning. Learning achievement of students who get learning using CD Interactive media is better than students who get conventional learning. Likewise, the learning achievements of students who get learning using CD Learning, media are better than students who get conventional learning. In addition, there were no significant differences between the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive and students using PBL models assisted by CD Learning.

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious.As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013           Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics.               The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?       The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. This team relationship is a partnership, meaning that the position of team members with each other is the same that aims to think about the issues to be studied in classroom action research. In this case the researcher serves as a teacher. Action will be done is in order to improve the results of teaching mathematics at class VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat.               The data in this study were collected with observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Observations were made to the activities of the students and teachers during the learning process for each meeting by filling out the observation sheets that have been filled in by observing the observation sheets of each teacher and student behavior on the observation sheet. While data is about mathematics learning result collected through daily test (UH1) and daily test (UH2) which contains problem based on indicator that will be achieved based on lattice test result of learning.               The data obtained in this research is then analyzed through descriptive analysis.Descriptive data analysis aims to describe data about student learning outcomes on subject matter using in problem solving.               Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student learning achievement at VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat class on the subject matter using fractions in problem solving.

Pessimism is the attitude or perspective of an individual who is depicted by uncertainty, despair, and there is no hope for something faced. Conversely, optimism is the attitude of someone who sees things positively. This study aims to find out how students who have optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, and find out the differences in students' mathematics achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students, and if there are better ones. This research was conducted in 4 (four) State High Schools in Semarang City, and 498 XII graders has been chosen randomly. The result is that 55% of students are pessimistic, and 45% are optimistic. The research hypothesis that there are differences in mathematics learning achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students has been proven in the results of this study. Significant differences were also confirmed through the results of statistical calculations, and can be indicated by the average score of the optimistic students is higher than pessimistic students. Further discussion is needed on the implications of the results of this study on mathematics education broadly.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON LESSONS OF LIMIT THROUGH VARIATION PEER-TEACHING MODELSThis research aims to improve Mathematics learning activities and improve mathematics learning achievement of the Limit material through the variation peer-teaching models model for class XI MIPA 3 students in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Bogor. This research was conducted from January 2019 to June 2019. The subjects in this Classroom Action Research were students of SMA Negeri 9 Bogor in class XI MIPA 3, totaling 35 students consisting of 13 male students and 22 female students. Data collection techniques with written tests and observations. Data analysis using comparative description analysis and qualitative description. The results of this Classroom Action Research are: students' mathematics learning activities in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II have increased. The average score of student learning activities in the initial conditions of 2.74 increased to 3.77 in the first cycle and increased to 4.30 in the second cycle, while the mathematics learning achievement of students in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II increased. The average value of student achievement in the initial conditions of 39.13 increased to 71.17 in the first cycle and increased to 88.13 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who completed also increased, in the initial condition, students who completed learning were only 17.14%, increasing to 50% in cycle I and increasing to 80% in cycle II. This increase is due to the variation peer-teaching models learning method, all students can be actively involved in learning. Students who are appointed as tutors are active in helping their group members overcome learning difficulties. Students who have difficulty learning actively ask questions and discuss with tutors who are their own friends.

This research aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the creative problem-solving learning model in 8th grade of mathematics learning. The assessment of the effectiveness of learning model was reviewed based on three aspects, namely students’ activities, students’ responses to the learning model, and students’ learning outcomes. The type and approach, which used in this research, were quantitative descriptive with the research subjects of 8th-C class; moreover, the subjects consisted of 32 students. The instruments used to assess the effectiveness of the learning model were the students’ activity observation sheet, students’ responses questionnaire, and test sheet. The results of the research showed that the students’ activities were categorized as very good, in which the percentages were 84.38%. The students’ responses were categorized as very good with a percentage of 82.53%. The students’ learning outcomes in a classical manner could be said as complete with the completeness of 71.88%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of creative problem-solving learning model in mathematics learning can be said as effective.
