Abstract- This study aims to determine the level and factors that cause student anxiety during the Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents in this study were 1.013 students from five universities in three provinces in Indonesia, i.e., Lampung, Special Region of Yogyakarta, and South Sulawesi. The data were collected from 24th to 29th of April 2020. The data were obtained using a Covid-19 anxiety survey and a questionnaire about the factors causing student anxiety, which were distributed by utilizing google form. The results indicated that there were 222 students at a high and very high anxiety level with physical, cognitive, and emotional symptoms. Student anxiety was triggered by two main factors, i.e., social limitation and coursework. To reduce their anxiety, the majority of respondents chose a religious approach rather than a cultural approach. Recommendations are given to counselors to include religiosity values in helping student anxiety. The university is also expected to be able to support students by providing internet quota assistance, organizing online lectures on an asynchronous model and allowing longer deadline for submission of coursework. In recent years an increasing emphasis has been placed on the study of high temperature intermetallic compounds for possible aerospace applications. One group of interest is the B2 aiuminides. This group of intermetaliics has a very high melting temperature, good high temperature, and excellent specific strength. These qualities make it a candidate for applications such as turbine engines. The B2 aiuminides exist over a wide range of compositions and also have a large solubility for third element substitutional additions, which may allow alloying additions to overcome their major drawback, their brittle nature.One B2 aluminide currently being studied is cobalt aluminide. Optical microscopy of CoAl alloys produced at the University of Missouri-Rolla showed a dramatic decrease in the grain size which affects the yield strength and flow stress of long range ordered alloys, and a change in the grain shape with the addition of 0.5 % boron.

This study aims to analyze the mathematical disposition and self-regulated learning of online lectures with the help of Google Classroom. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This study's subjects were 34 students of the first semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program consisting of 11 male students and 23 female students determined by the saturated sampling method. From the research results, it can be concluded that students' mathematical disposition through learning assisted by Google Classroom has high criteria. The mathematical disposition of male and female students through learning assisted by Google Classroom has high criteria. Still, the level of mathematical disposition of male students is slightly higher than female students. Meanwhile, student self-regulated learning with the help of Google Classroom obtains very high criteria. This study focuses on the assessment of flood-vulnerable areas in the Minraleng watershed, Maros Regency, where the area experiences floods every year. Spatial analysis in the Geographic Information System (GIS) environment has been applied to estimate flood-vulnerable zones using six relevant physical factors, such as rainfall intensity, slope, Elevation, distance from the rivers, land use and soil type. The relative importance of physical factors has been compared in paired matrices to obtain weight values using the Spatial Multi-Criteria Evaluation (SMCE) method. The result showed that the areas located in Camba sub-district had the high vulnerability. The region with a high and very high vulnerability to flood were spread with an area of 436 ha (0,84 %) and 6.168 ha (11.8%).

A broad research of the impact of PTSD diagnosis and presenting symptoms of this disorder on social reactions to persons with PTSD has been undertaken to test the prediction that the relative absence of fairly recognizable symptoms of this disorder promotes less positive social evaluation. This paper presents the effects of manipulating with the PTSD label and the recognizability of presented symptom pattern on ratings of the target person responsibility and elicited affective reactions and support giving intention in subjects.Three vignettes, differing in recognizability of presented symptoms of PTSD, were given to the subjects (228 students at the University of Mostar), and about a half of the subjects in each of these symptom pattern conditions was told that the target is a PTSD casualty. Subjects responded to the vignettes by rating target’s responsibility and their own reactions to him (pity, anger and willingness to give him support) on a five-point scale.The results showed significant effect of the symptom pattern manipulation, which was most pervasive in responsibility judgments and reported support intentions. The pattern of differences in judgments of responsibility suggests that the prevalence of less recognizable symptoms of PTSD might result in ascription of some responsibility to a target person for causing actual conditions. The relative absence of these symptoms appears to reduce, in particular, the variability in the subject's willingness to give support to the person, which is generally reported as being very high. Unlike these responsibility and support ratings, the effects of the symptom pattern on reported affective experiences of pity and anger do not match the pattern predicted from the attribution model of B. Weiner and an extension of this model made by Lopez and Wolkenstein. The absence of the predicted Label x Symptom pattern interaction was explained in terms of some drawbacks in the construction of the stimulus material.

In 2004 the University of Nottingham opened its branch campus, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). Degree-awarding powers for UNNC remain with the UK, but there is recognition that Nottingham must understand the specific context of its Chinese branch; provision therefore operates according to the principal of equivalence rather than of replication. This paper explores stakeholder attitudes towards the university's Nottingham Advantage Award. This is an extra-curricular programme designed to support students in the development of their 'employability'. Launched in the UK in 2008, it was piloted at UNNC in 2010-11 and is now nearing the end of its first full year of operation. Twenty-three interviews were conducted with staff and students at UNNC. These were analysed alongside interviews carried out in the UK and with reference to the research literature. This provided an understanding of the role of the Award overall and in the UNNC context. The study shows that while stakeholders hold broadly similar views in the UK and China, there are subtle differences of emphasis concerning the understanding of, and responsibility for, learning for employability. In addition, a group of China-specific themes emerged from the UNNC interviews that indicated recognition of the need to differentiate priorities and provision for each site. The paper concludes that the challenge for the Award at UNNC is to serve both global and local agendas and that it should strive to reduce the 'information asymmetry' existing between stakeholders to promote effective graduate employability.

Many universities around the world have now initiated wellbeing strategies that encompass psychological wellbeing. These resources can be leveraged for change to better support students. Associate Professor Lydia Woodyatt from Flinders University, Adelaide and Dr Abi Brooker from the University of Melbourne are guest editors for this very special issue which includes a collection of articles from scholars and practitioners in Australia, Canada, the US, UK and Germany addressing student (and staff) psychological wellbeing in higher education. Broadly, articles discuss the scope of  mental wellbeing and psychological distress, identify specific cohorts (including international students and refugees), profile targeted means of support (via the curriculum, the co-curriculum and strategic policy and planning initiatives) and also identify the need for ‘psychological literacy’ via leadership.

The Language Zone at the University of Leeds, UK, is well established as a hub for language learners across the campus, both those on language courses and those studying languages independently for a variety of reasons. It has been operating entirely online since March 2020 and will do so until the campus fully re-opens. This written account gives a brief overview of the changes made to the Language Zone’s services and provision of learning materials in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, including how the team members’ roles were adapted to ensure staff skills were taken into account. In addition to showing how services were maintained when the campus was closed at short notice and teaching was moved online until further notice, the study outlines how the Language Zone developed a platform to support the 2020 summer pre-sessional programmes to be delivered completely online. Finally, reflecting on the recent achievements and considering how to support students in the future, it aims to inspire other self-access centres to think about what they can do to develop their services in response to the crisis and beyond.

<p>Adopsi Kapas transgenik yang diinlroduksi secara terbatas sejak tahun 2000 di tujuh kabupaten di Sulawesi Selatan perlu dicvaluasi kebcrlanjutannya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi peluang keberlanjutan petani dalam mengadopsi kapas transgenik di daerah introduksi yaitu tujuh kabupaten di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kerangka penelitian yang digunakan adalah peluang keberlanjutan adopsi dipengaruhi oleh karaktcr subyek, karaktcr inovasi, dan lingkungan fisik dan sosial. Dengan kriteria sebaran dan luas kapas transgenik, pola sebaran curah hujan, dan waktu panen maka daerah yang terpilih adalah Kabupaten Bantaeng, Takalar, Gowa, dan Bulukumba, dan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus-September 2002. Metode pengambilan contoh petani digunakan metode acak sederhana, karena homogenitas Icarakter yang diinginkan relatif tinggi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda yang pendugaannya dengan metode maximum likelihood. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lebih dai 50% petani berpeluang untuk bcrhenti mengadopsi. Hal ini antara lain disebabkan ketidakmampuan petani untuk menanggung resiko usahatani kapas transgenik yang tinggi, sedang pendapatan yang diharapkan kurang stabil. Selain itu adopsi berpeluang besar akan berlanjut di daerah yang iklimnya sesuai dan kompatible dengan musim dan pola tanam yang ada.</p><p>Kata kunci: Kapas transgenic, adopsi, keberlanjutan, resiko usahatani, pendapatan</p><p> </p><p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><strong>Analysis of sustainability of transgenic cotton adoption in South Sulawesi</strong></p><p>The adoption of transgenic conon that has been introduced since 2000 in seven regencies of South Sulawesi need to be evaluated further. The objective of the study was to analyze factors which influenced the adoption of transgenic cotton by the farmers in the introduction area. The research frame used is sustainability of adoption depend on characteistics of subjects and innovation and physical and social environment. Citeia used to determine research area were distribution and coverage of transgenic conon farms, distibution pattern of rainfall, and time of harvest. The area chosen were Regency of Bantaeng, Takalar, Gowa, and Bulukumba. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, since the population was relatively homogen. The results of the analysis indicated that more than SO % of the farmers had a chance to stop adopting the transgenic conon. Il happened because the farmers were uncapablc to take the isk of transgenic coton farming which was very high, while the income rom this farming was not stable. However, the adoption of transgenic cotton is potential in the area where the climate is suitable and compatible with the seasons and existing farming system.</p><p>Key words: Transgenic coton, adoption, sustainability, farm risk, income</p>

El estudio de los perfiles motivacionales proporciona información detallada sobre los hábitos de los grupos de personas hacia la práctica de la actividad física, permitiendo poder fomentar una motivación más positiva y conseguir una mayor adherencia a la práctica. Así el objetivo de este estudio ha sido clarificar cuáles son las motivaciones frente a la práctica de actividad físico-deportiva de una muestra de jóvenes universitarios, incidiendo especialmente en las actividades náuticas. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 1011 estudiantes de la Universidad de Almería (España). El instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario de hábitos físicos-deportivos y de práctica de deportes náuticos. Los resultados obtenidos apuntan que los principales motivos para desarrollar la práctica deportiva fueron la flexibilidad horaria y una adecuada a la disponibilidad de su tiempo libre, seguido de la cercanía a su domicilio de las instalaciones. Otros motivos son por diversión, o estar con su grupo de amigos. Respecto a las actividades náuticas, se decide practicar o no sólo porque les gustan, seguido del interés por estar en contacto con el medio natural y acuático. Las modalidades náuticas más practicadas son el piragüismo y la natación. En relación al abandono de la práctica deportiva, claramente se produce por la falta de tiempo por el estudio o el trabajo. Es evidente que la falta de tiempo por los estudios o por el trabajo, perjudica gravemente la adherencia a la actividad física, pero existen porcentajes muy altos de personas (62%) que admiten no practicar por pereza y desgana, por lo que se deben buscar nuevas estrategias de motivación para que aumente la adherencia a la actividad físico deportiva.Palabras clave: Motivación, práctica de actividad física y deportiva, actividades náuticas, hábitos físicos y deportivos, universitarios. Motivations of the University students in the physical and sports practice of free time. The nautical activitiesABSTRACTThe study of motivational profiles provides detailed information on the habits of groups of people to the practice of physical activity, allowing fostering a more positive motivation and achieving greater adherence to practice. So the aim of this study was to clarify the motivations are against the practice of physical and sporting a sample of university students, with special emphasis on water sports activity. The sample consisted of 1011 students from the University of Almeria (Spain). The instrument used was the questionnaire physical - sporting habits and water sports. The results indicate that the main reasons for developing sport and flexible hours were adequate to the availability of leisure, followed by proximity to your home facilities. This article discusses some of the most important prerequisites for building and organizing the didactic structure of music education at the university level in the midst of a pandemic. The emphasis is on the methodology in designing online learning. The principles of carrying out the preliminary preparation for the transition to the new synchronous1 and asynchronous2 training are described. The basic rules for building and organizing online lectures in the conditions of distance learning are systematized. Models for asynchronous lectures according to already established principles are presented. An analysis of the difficulties and dangers of constant home office work has been performed. The authors of this article share their pedagogical experience regarding the specifics of conducting individual and group music disciplines in the context of distance learning, giving basic recommendations on the structuring of the learning process, which can be used not only in a pandemic situation, but also in the future for more flexible, modern and effective education related to constantly improving technologies.
