The character of students in class can be shown through the attitude of talking to others. The politeness of using the language is something that must be considered when someone interacts. However, the facts that occur in the world of education show that there are still students and teachers who do not pay attention to the politeness of the language while the lesson is taking place. This shows the lack of awareness of educators to apply and educate the character of students' politeness in the class. The purpose of this paper is to explain the important role of Christian teachers in educating the character of politeness in students' language use based on a review of Christian ethical philosophy. This writing is reviewed using the literature review method. The teachers as the example of morals, ethical mentors, and effective givers are responsible for educating the character of students holistically, in fulfilling God's calling to clarify the values of God's giving to the lives of each student. The politeness of the language is one realization of obedience to an ethic. Christian teachers need to have perspectives that refer to truth to avoid moral relativism. Through this perspective, the teachers are able to help students to have the right motivation in applying politeness in language, which are the response to the salvation of Christ and the tools for them to grow more like Christ. Suggestions for the teacher, it is better to develop sensitivity to the condition of students 'politeness of the language use and explore the principle of the language use politeness, and innovative ways to educate the character of students’ politeness in using the language.

Discovering biological diversity is a fundamental goal—made urgent by the alarmingly high rate of extinction. We have compiled information from more than 100 000 type specimens to quantify the role of collectors in the discovery of plant diversity. Our results show that more than half of all type specimens were collected by less than 2 per cent of collectors. This highly skewed pattern has persisted through time. We demonstrate that a number of attributes are associated with prolific plant collectors: a long career with increasing productivity and experience in several countries and plant families. These results imply that funding a small number of expert plant collectors in the right geographical locations should be an important element in any effective strategy to find undiscovered plant species and complete the inventory of the world flora.

Conventional tourism had opened a “window” for Islamic tourism to operationalize which at present is expanded throughout the world. As the Muslim population is rising rapidly, Muslim consumer market should be critically concerned by tourism businesses to satisfy the needs and wants of the consumers. This paper attempts to explain the concept of Islamic tourism in the context of maqasid shariah – protection of religion, protection of intellect, protection of life, protection of wealth and protection of offspring; discusses the role of Islamic religiosity in shaping tourists’ behaviour, as well as tourism industry’s role in applying Islamic tourism according to maqasid shariah, from the tourism industry’s perspective and tourists’ perspective. To date, there is still lack of knowledge and related literature review on the implementation of maqasid shariah in the concept of tourism industry. The ultimate goals of shariah are vital as the platform in the development of Islamic tourism as well as Islamic religiosity among Muslim consumers because it resembles the value of Islamic concept in tourism perspectives.

The world order based on Yalta and Potsdam decisions as well as on two nuclear superpowers infighting has filed as a history. What is coming up to take its place? A correlation between power and law in international policy, national sovereignty and supranational institutions, territorial integrity of states and the right of nations to self-determination, bloc infighting atavisms, so called "double standard" and international interventions – these are critical debating points that the author develops his own approach to. The role of the U.S. in world policy, and the foreign policy choice of Russia are also examined.

The Hannah narrative bears close affinities to the African context with respect to the problem of barrenness. Hence, employing the exegetical approach and contextual analysis, this article examines the narrative in relation to the attitude of the church in Nigeria towards the problem of barrenness among its members. The suffering of Hannah resonates with the travails of childless African women; yet, beyond the weekly or monthly prayer services for them, the church has not exploited these similarities enough to assist its barren members. This article states that the church can organise regular programmes to address issues such as causes of barrenness as well as the role of male and female cells in the conception process. It also needs to teach the right attitude of friends and relatives towards childless couples so as to reduce the psychological effects of childlessness particularly on the women. The church can also identify with childless couples by introducing them to the practices of child adoption and surrogacy when all efforts to have children by the natural process fail. As there will always be childless persons in spite of all efforts to have children, the church has the responsibility to make its members accept the fact that children are a gift from God, and that matrimony must not necessarily end in parenthood. Finally, the church in Nigeria needs to assure childless members that they can live happy and fulfilled lives despite their situation of childlessness.Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This research involves the disciplines of the Old Testament and Christian Ethics. It examines 1 Samuel 1:1–20 in relation to the attitude of the church in Nigeria towards its childless members, stressing that the church can do more in identifying with them.

How can governments and peoples better hold to account international economic institutions, such as the WTO, the World Bank, and the IMF? This article proposes an approach based on public accountability, advocating improvements in four areas: constitutional, political, financial, and internal accountability. The argument for more accountability is made with two caveats: more accountability is not always good–it can be distorting and costly; and, enhancing the accountability of international institutions should not justify increasing their jurisdiction for the sake of reducing the role of national governments. Constitutional accountability poses limits on how the institutions expand their activities, requiring the active consent of all members and particularly those most affected by their activities. Political accountability requires that those who make decisions in the organizations are directly answerable to all member governments and not just to the most powerful ones. The institutions' uneven record and structure of financial accountability is addressed through a model of mutual restraint. Finally, the internal accountability should ensure that technical decisions are distinguishable from political decisions. A better matching of the right kinds of accountability to the activities of the organizations would improve both their effectiveness and legitimacy.

The teacher is an influential person in the classroom. The magnitude of this influence is because the teacher has the authority to be responsible in the classroom. However, not all teachers can exercise their authority in the classroom properly. Teachers treat students too hard or too softly in class so that it takes the teacher's role to be able to carry out their duties with the right authority. Teachers will be able to exercise authority properly if they have the right perspective on authority. The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of a Christian teacher's perspective in exercising authority in the classroom towards students. The research method used is literature review, using books and journals related to the topic. The teacher's authority is the authority given by God the highest authority. The Great Story is a Biblical framework of creation, fall, redemption, and exaltation. Since the beginning of creation, God has given authority to Adam & Eve to rule and maintain the earth. This proves that the teacher's authority is a gift from God that must be worked out. The result of writing this paper is that the Christian perspective on authority is the basis for teachers to exercise their authority. This perspective helps Christian teachers understand the source and purpose of the authority given, which is for the glory of God so that the teacher can exercise his authority properly.

Social media has become a new revolution in communications and most governments around the world use these platforms as two-way communication between them and the citizens. The Jordanian government started using these platforms early, so this paper came to examine the Jordanian's practice on these platforms. The paper use two way of analysis, the first one was a systematic literature review in the largest two databases (Scopus and Web of Science). After the literature has been analysed and the paper found the best practices for governments around the world, three main determinants were identified for any government to start the use of social media (presence, up to date information and interaction). The most popular Jordanian's social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) have been selected to start the analyses and 52 Jordanian governmental institutions (all the 25 ministries and 27 institutions belong to the prime ministry) have been analysed. After the institutions' websites and their pages or accounts on social media platforms scanned and analysed, most of the institutions have fulfilled the first two criteria (presence) and 77% shows that they have appearances on social media and (up to date information) 67% of the institutions regularly updated their information. But for the last criteria (interaction) we have found that the institutions still need to improve their interactions with the citizens since the results showed only 38% of these institutions have interaction on their pages or accounts on social media.
