Introduction: Schizophrenia is a chronic mental illness with symptoms of hallucinations, delusions and inappropriate behavior. Patients require long-term treatment, but many do not adhere to treatment. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was a relationship between family roles and adherence to medication for schizophrenic patients. Methods: The research design used correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was 60 families with schizophrenia who visited the mental polyclinic of Ibnu Sina Hospital on 7-13 July 2019. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with a total sample of 52 respondents. Collecting data on family roles based on Friedman's theory and medication adherence using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale. The research test used the Spearman rank test SPSS. Ethical Approval by Faculty of Nursing Universitas Airlangga number 1601-KEPK, July 17, 2019. Results: The results of this study showed that the role of the good family was 53.8% and the role of the less family was 46.2%. The medium level of adherence to taking medication was 42.3% and less level of adherence to taking medication was 32.7%. The results of the Spearman test are rho count 0.403 > rho table 0.271, which means that there is a significant relationship. Conclusion: The role of the family is related to medication adherence for schizophrenic patients.

Introduction: The supervision model commonly applied in nursing is the 4S model, namely the Structure, Skill, Support and Sustainability (4S) stages. This supervision model can be applied by the head of the room and the head of the shift as a supervisor in overseeing the implementation of Islamic spiritual nursing care in adult inpatient rooms. Purpose: to analyze the relationship between the role of the 4S supervisor model and the implementation of Islamic spiritual nursing care in adult inpatient rooms. Methods: the study used a cross sectional method. The sampling technique with a proportionate stratified random sampling was 62 nurses. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate analysis with Spearman test, and multivariate with logistic regression. Results: showed the role of the 4S supervisor model was good (88.7%), the implementation of Islamic nursing care was good category (52%), there was a relationship between the role of model supervision 4S with the implementation of Islamic spiritual care, with a significance value of <0.0001 and the strongest relationship between the 4S model and the implementation of Islamic spiritual care is the variable skill and sustainability, seen from the significance value for skills of 0.05 (Pvalue ≤0.05), and sustainability of 0.01 (Pvalue ≤0.05). The strength of the relationship is seen based on the OR [EXP {B}] value, respectively, skill (0.194) and sustainability (0.109). Discussion: The probability of nurses implementing Islamic nursing care well is 90% if they provide Islamic spiritual nursing care skills and continuous supervision by the hospital supervisor.

Self-acceptance and adherence to medication are the keys in lupus management. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-acceptance level of lupus patients and their medication adherence level. The study was designed using a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. About 92 lupus patient respondents at Kupu Parahita Indonesia Foundation who went to the Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang were selected using purposive sampling according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Respondents were asked to fill out a modified Acceptance of Illness questionnaire to measure patient self-acceptance level and the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8 (MMAS-8) to assess drug adherence level. From the 92 respondents, it was found that 37% had a high level of self-acceptance, 52.2% were moderate, and 10.8% were low. Adherence medication level in 92 respondents showed 51.1% high, 38.1% moderate, and 10.8% low. Spearman test results showed a significant relationship between self-acceptance level and medication adherence level (p=0.001, r=0.355). This value indicates the strength of the weak relationship and the direction of the positive correlation between self-acceptance and medication adherence. Conclusion, the higher of self-acceptance level of lupus patients, the higher medication adherence level.
