Information and communication technology in its development has an effect on human life covering social, economic, cultural aspects, including libraries.Libraries are required to provide up to date information and in diverse forms. There are differences in information behavior of University Students of Lampung on searching collections of scientific paper and circulation collections. The aims of this research are  to find out the information behavior of students of Lampung University in the process of tracing collections of scientific works and circulation collections, and mention the similarities and regulations of information behavior in the search of collections of scientific works and searches of circulation collections. This research methode uses qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, documentation data and literature study. The results obtained  are :  information behavior University Student of Lampung on searching collections of scientific papers are: most students of Lampung University on searching collection of scientific papers using a laptop to access on the link: digilib.unila.ac.id., log in, search the faculty, study programs, published years and titles of scientific paper, do the citation, and save cited to file work. Information behavior University Students of Lampung on searching   circulation collections are: most University Student of Lampung on searching circulation collections using the computer library provided, access on the link: opac.unila.ac.id (online catalog), write down the name of the author or the title of book, record the call number of the circulation collections of interest, to the circulation collection shelves, take circulation collections to read or borrow to take home. But there are also similarities in the behavior of information in the process of disseminating the collection of scientific works and tracing the circulation collection, namely both the search process is done online and search for information by writing the title of the work both books and scientific works.Keywords: information behavior, University Student of Lampung, scientific paper                   collections, circulation collections, University Library of Lampung

This study aimed to find out the use of open library digital library services  in meeting the information needs of Telkom University students. The study used the qualitative method with case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews with Telkom University students, observation, and literature study. Study results showed that the initial stage was based on the motivation and goals arising from self-awareness and the need to increase knowledge in completing tasks and scientific works (thesis/TA). Browsing began with authentication using an SSO account (Igracias), and information retrieval began with using a simple search facility. Students also used the internet to access various other sources with the Google search engine to further enrich the required information. Then, At the formulation stage, students conducted brainstorming by learning and understanding the problem-solving process related to the appropriate topic and discussing it with friends, lecturers, or people who were considered understandable and could be invited to discuss related topics that were being deepened. The collection stage was done by downloading the file and storing it in their laptop folder. At the presentation stage, students would feel satisfied after getting the information so it is possible to do monitoring.  The presentation was performed in the form of writing a new document or as a complement in both the completion of lecture assignments (proposal and paper) as well as the writing of scientific papers (thesis/TA).

Conflict is one of the social phenomena that continues to exist in human life. Conflict usually comes from several aspects such as social change, differences in authority (authority), differences in interests and cultural differences. Because Indonesia is a very diverse country of pluralism it is a variety of ethnic and ethnic diversity. Such diversity and diversity can lead to ethnic conflict. Simply put, this article will analyze the causes of conflict between ethnic Dayak and Madura in West Kalimantan, especially in Samalantan sub-district, how the impact will be caused by the conflict between Dayak ethnic with Madura in Samalantan, and also the attitude or action of the government to the conflict. In writing this scientific paper the author uses the method of literature study that comes from books or various articles that according to the author can support this writing. And based on the author’s analysis of the conflict between Dayak ethnic with Madura in Samalantan. Apparently the conflict in Samalantan has happened more than ten times, can not be added with certainty. The background of the conflict occurred because of the lack of government role in providing information to the Madura who will migrate to the island of Borneo about the customs, culture, and things that are not liked by the Dayaks when incoming by ethnic immigrants. The government's action to resolve the conflict is to facilitate the meeting between the two Dayak ethnic groups with Madura. But the impact of the conflict is certainly there are positive and negative, the positive Madurese become independent, and the Dayak negatively arise casualties. Konflik merupakan salah satu fenomena sosial yang terus ada dalam kehidupan manusia. Konflik biasanya bersumber dari beberapa aspek seperti adanya perubahan sosial, perbedaan kewenangan (otoritas),perbedaan kepentingan dan perbedaan kultural. Karena indonesia merupakan sebuah negara yang sangat majemuk dari kemajemukan itu adalah adanya berbagai keragaman etnis dan suku bangsa. Dari keberagaman dan perbedaan tersebut dapat menimbulkan terjadinya konflik etnis. Secara sederhana, tulisan ini akan menganalisa penyebab terjadinya konflik antara etnis dayak dan madura di kalimantan barat khususnya di kecamatan samalantan, bagaimana dampak yang akan ditimbulkan dari konflik antar etnis Dayak dengan Madura di Samalantan, serta bagaimana sikap ataupun tindakan pemerintah terhadap konflik tersebut. Dalam penulisan karya ilmiah ini penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang bersumber dari buku-buku atau berbagai artikel yang menurut penulis dapat mendukung penulisan ini. Dan berdasarkan hasil analisa penulis terhadap konflik antar etnis Dayak dengan Madura di Samalantan. Ternyata konflik di Samalantan sudah terjadi lebih dari sepuluh kali, tidak bisa dijumlahkan dengan pasti. Adapun latar belakang dari konflik tersebut terjadi karena kurang adanya peran pemerintah dalam memberi informasi terhadap orang Madura yang akan bertransmigrasi ke pulau Kalimantan mengenai adat istiadat, budaya, serta hal-hal yang tidak disukai oleh orang-orang Dayak ketika di datangi oleh etnis pendatang. Tindakan pemerintah dalam mengatasi konflik adalah dengan memfasilitasi pertemuan antara kedua etnis Dayak dengan Madura. Tetapi dampak yang di timbulkan dari konflik itu tentu ada yang positif dan negatif, positifnya orang Madura menjadi mandiri, serta orang Dayak negatifnya timbul korban jiwa

The scientific hypothesis about the influence of the components of the informational environment on the expansion of human development is tested. The trends in the Ukrainian information space on the level of implementation of informational technology in human life are revealed. The sample survey about living conditions of households in Ukraine in general and the oblasts of the Carpathian region, in particular, is conducted. The ways of use of Internet services by households for involvement of the population in various spheres of public activity and their influence on human development of the oblasts of the Carpathian region are analyzed. The analysis showed a significant reduction in the share of households by objectives: education and training (formal education in school and higher education, distance education, including online activities); software download. The search for information related to health issues and interaction with public authorities has great potential for human development. The paper concludes that the population of the Carpathian region is insufficiently involved in the use of Internet services. Based on the analysis of indicators of the Global Competitiveness Index, the problems in the field of expanding human development opportunities in Ukraine are described. There is mainly a downward trend in the development of areas involved in expanding human development opportunities in the transition to the information economy - education, health, labor, science and innovation. Relevant guidelines for the implementation of state social policy in this area are identified. Social policy as a direction of state regulation of the economy requires a transition from mostly passive to active and effective state social policy. It is necessary to update the mechanisms for conducting active social policy at the level of the state, various administrative, public organizations, and enterprises. Social policy must be closely linked with the implementation of internal reforms in the country (education, health, pensions, taxes and wages, etc.). Social policy measures should be coordinated with measures of other types of state policy - migration, the formation and development of the middle class, the policy of investing in human capital.

This article aims to put forward the learning design so that learning runs well, accompanied by anticipatory steps to minimize the gaps that occur so that learning activities achieve the goals set. The writing of this article uses the literature study method taken from various sources about learning. A teacher needs to have the ability to design and implement a variety of learning strategies that are considered suitable with the interests, talents and in accordance with the level of student development, including utilizing various sources and learning media to ensure the effectiveness of learning. The essence of learning design is the determination of optimal learning methods to achieve the stated goals. There is no learning model that can provide the most effective recipe for developing a learning program. The determination of the design model to develop a learning program depends on the designer's consideration of the model to be used or chosen. The educational process is a series of efforts to guide, direct the potential of human life in the form of basic abilities and personal lives as individual and social creatures and in their relationship with the natural surroundings to become responsible individuals.

UNSTRUCTURED Over half of Americans report looking up health-related questions on the internet, including questions regarding their own ailments. The internet, in its vastness of information, provides a platform for patients to understand how to seek help and understand their condition. In most cases, this search for knowledge serves as a starting point to gather evidence that leads to a doctor’s appointment. However, in some cases, the person looking for information ends up tangled in an information web that perpetuates anxiety and further searches, without leading to a doctor’s appointment. The Internet can provide helpful and useful information; however, it can also be a tool for self-misdiagnosis. Said person craves the instant gratification the Internet provides when ‘googling’ – something one does not receive when having to wait for a doctor’s appointment or test results. Nevertheless, the Internet gives that instant response we demand in those moments of desperation. Cyberchondria, a term that has entered the medical lexicon in the 21st century after the advent of the internet, refers to the unfounded escalation of people’s concerns about their symptomatology based on search results and literature online. ‘Cyberchondriacs’ experience mistrust of medical experts, compulsion, reassurance seeking, and excessiveness. Their excessive online research about health can also be associated with unnecessary medical expenses, which primarily arise from anxiety, increased psychological distress, and worry. This vicious cycle of searching information and trying to explain current ailments derives into a quest for associating symptoms to diseases and further experiencing the other symptoms of said disease. This psychiatric disorder, known as somatization, was first introduced to the DSM-III in the 1980s. Somatization is a psycho-biological disorder where physical symptoms occur without any palpable organic cause. It is a disorder that has been renamed, discounted, and misdiagnosed from the beginning of the DSMs. Somatization triggers span many mental, emotional, and cultural aspects of human life. Our environment and social experiences can lay the blueprint for disorders to develop over time; an idea that is widely accepted for underlying psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. The research is going in the right direction by exploring brain regions but needs to be expanded on from a sociocultural perspective. In this work, we explore the relationship between somatization disorder and the condition known as cyberchondria. First, we provide a background on each of the disorders, including their history and psychological perspective. Second, we proceed to explain the relationship between the two disorders, followed by a discussion on how this relationship has been studied in the scientific literature. Thirdly, we explain the problem that the relationship between these two disorders creates in society. Lastly, we propose a set of intervention aids and helpful resource prototypes that aim at resolving the problem. The proposed solutions ranged from a site-specific clinic teaching about cyberchondria to a digital design-coded chrome extension available to the public.

Abstract Limited research has directly addressed the challenges of higher education for students with autism, who face additional difficulties in navigating social, personal and academic obstacles. With more students experiencing mental health difficulties whilst at university, therapeutic interventions on offer need to be suitable for those accessing support. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is widely used to support university students, as it is firmly established as an effective treatment for a range of issues, including social and generalised anxiety in typically developing populations (NICE, 2013; NICE, 2019). However, the efficacy of CBT for individuals with autistic spectrum condition (ASC) is less well known, despite the high prevalence rates of anxiety in this population. This paper seeks to address a gap in the literature and uses a single-case (A-B) experimental design over 16 sessions to reduce co-morbid social and generalised anxiety in a university student with high-functioning ASC. Clark’s (2001) cognitive model of social anxiety and Wells’ (1997) cognitive model of generalised anxiety were employed to formulate anxiety experienced in this case. Standardised outcome measures were used for social anxiety, i.e. the Social Phobia Inventory (SPIN), and generalised anxiety, i.e. the Generalised Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), in conjunction with idiographic ratings to assess the impact of therapy. Findings indicate that CBT was an acceptable and useful intervention with mixed results; discrepancies were found between clinical change recorded on standardised measures compared with idiographic ratings. This paper discusses the use of standardised measures of anxiety for individuals with ASC and identifies directions for further research. Key learning aims (1) To appreciate the unique mental health challenges of university students with ASC. (2) To identify psychological interventions that are suitable for individuals with ASC. (3) To consider the value in employing more than one evidence-based cognitive model of anxiety when clients present with co-morbid mental health issues. (4) To question the utility of using standardised outcome measures compared with idiographic measures in therapy.

Advances in technology have led to a spurt in tech-savvy consumers displaying increasingly complex behavior. In the past, consumers concluded their search and purchases at a single physical store. Nowadays, however, they possess a number of digital devices (desktops and/or mobiles) through which they can switch channels seamlessly to search for information and make a purchase. There are very few studies that investigate desktop and mobile channels separately; this is perhaps the first study that examines the effect of chronotypes (evening- and morning-type individuals) on a sample of Chinese university students using online and mobile channels in the omnichannel process. The results from a sample of 311 digital shoppers (desktops and/or mobiles) confirm that the mobile channel offers greater task-technology fit to evening-type respondents and desktop channels present better task-technology fit to morning-type respondents to engage in the omnichannel process. Furthermore, this study discussed contributions and insights for managers to develop an effective omnichannel strategy.

A report of the developments that stemmed from initial observations in time-limited psychotherapy with University student patients. These led to the conceptualization of the process not in terms of focal conflict but in the development of the relationship itself. Autonomy came to be seen as the central issue and a similarity was noted between the pattern of the relationship in therapy and a proposed developmental model of the growth of autonomy. Within this framework reciprocity became the focus of the relationship dimension. A case illustration is given the significance of time and separation discussed and some therapeutic and theoretical implications considered.

BackgroundThe aim was to determine the extent, characteristics and timing of suicide in Oxford University students.MethodStudents who died from suicide or undetermined cause between October 1976 and September 1990 were identified through University records and individual colleges. Information about each student was sought from coroners, college staff, general practitioners and hospital case notes.ResultsThere were 21 suicides (16 men and 5 women) and one open verdict (female). The observed number of suicides (0) was greater than the number expected (E = 11.09) on the basis of mortality statistics for England and Wales (O/E = 1.89; 95% CI 1.17 to 2.90). When deaths due to undetermined cause were included, however, the difference between O and E (17.03) was much reduced (O/E = 1.29; 95% CI 0.81 to 1.95). There was no evidence of an association with the Finals examination but two-thirds of the students had been worried about academic achievement or their courses. Nearly half appeared to have had a psychiatric disorder (mostly depression).ConclusionsThe much publicised apparent excess of Oxford University student suicides may be partly artefactual. Measures for preventing student suicides include careful induction upon arrival at university, means of alleviating academic stress and worries, and readily available and closely associated student counselling and psychiatric services.

Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Bible perpsektif about children's education? The purpose of this study is to outline perpsektif Bible about children's education. Types of research in this paper is the qualitative research literature. The object of this study is a biblical perspective on the education of children. In this study, researchers conducted a literature study to be able to explore and understand the biblical view of children's education. In this study, the authors sought feedback from a grasp of Hebrew and Greek. This is to avoid the use of verses in Hebrew and Greek avoid deviations. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan studi literatur untuk dapat menggali dan memahami pandangan Alkitab tentang pendidikan anak. Dalam penelitian ini penulis meminta masukan dari seorang yang memahami tentang Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar penggunaan ayat-ayat dalam Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani tidak terjadi penyimpangan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil yaitu (1) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman iman; (2) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses transfer pengetahuan; (3) pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman nilai.
