The students problem in understanding the electron configurations was caused by the ineffective learning media which is used by the teacher didn’t fit the student’s characteristic. Therefore, it is important to develop media of Lego Chemistry games for electron configurations class. The validation of the media is validated in three aspects. They were validity from the results of the game, practicality from the results of the questionnaire, and the effectiveness from the results of the pre and post tests. This study used a Research and Development (R & D) model of Borg and Gall conducted in seven stages. The study showed that media of Lego Chemistry games was suitable for teaching learning process. It can be seen from the results of the material and media aspects by 0,83 and 0,94 which was valid. The results of the practicality of the questionnaires on the small and main tryouts were 92,50% and 90,66% and were considered practical. The results of the effectiveness of the N Gain on the small and main tryouts were 0.74 and 0.92 (high). Therefore, media of Lego Chemistry games was valid and effective. It is suitable to be used as the learning media in Chemistry class.

The students problem in understanding the covalent bonds was caused by the ineffective learning instructional media which is used by the teacher didn’t fit the student’s characteristic. Therefore, it is important to develop instructional media of Petalen for covalent bonds class. The validation of the media is validated in three aspects. They were validity from the results of the game, practicality from the results of the questionnaire, and the effectiveness from the results of the pre and post tests. This study used a Research and Development (R & D) model of Borg and Gall conducted in seven stages. The study showed that instructional media of Petalen was suitable for teaching learning process. It can be seen from the results of the material and media aspects by 1,00 and 1,00 which were valid. The results of the practicality of the questionnaires on the small and main tryouts were 94,55% and 92,81% and were considered practical. The results of the effectiveness of the N-Gain on the small and main tryouts were 0,77 and 0,66 (high category). Therefore, instructional media of Petalen was valid and effective. It is suitable to be used as the learning instructional media in Chemistry class.

ABSTRAKProses pembelajaran memerlukan tambahan referensi selain buku paket dan LKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran modul animalia, yang memenuhi aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, respon positif siswa dan keefektifan media tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pengembangan (R&D) model 4-D, meliputi tahap Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran), tetapi tahap Disseminate (Penyebaran) tidak dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kevalidan dan kepraktisan pada aspek bahasa sebesar 90% (sangat valid dan sangat praktis), aspek materi sebesar 86,33% (sangat valid dan sangat praktis) dan aspek kegrafikan sebesar 90% (sangat valid dan sangat praktis). Berdasarkan uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala besar, respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran modul positif, sehingga media dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kefektifan media pembelajaran diperoleh berdasarkan nilai postest. Ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen sebesar 83% dan ketuntasan klasikal kelas kontrol sebesar 61%, yang menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran modul animalia dinyatakan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran modul layak digunakan untuk siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi materi animalia.Kata kunci: Pengembangan, media pembelajaran, modul, animalia ABSTRACT Learning process needs a learning reference such as modul. This study aimed to develop modul which concist of Animal content. Decent Modul if it meets the criteria of validity, practicality, student’s positive response and effectiveness. This study is Research and Development (R&D) method with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop without Disseminate). The result showed that the validity and the practically to language was 90% (very valid and very practical), to material was 86,33% (very valid and very practical), to graphical aspect was 90% (very valid and very practical). Based on the try out with small scale and large scale, student’s response to the media was positive, so modul can be used in the learning process. The effectiveness of the media was obtained from post test, with a percentage of 83% classical completeness in experiment class and a percentage of 61% classical completeness in control class. This result indicate that the modul fit for use as a learning reference in the material of animalia.Keyword: Development, learning reference, modul, animalia

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Think berbasis media I Spring suite 8 bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) dengan model 4 D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap define yaitu mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep material yang harus terkandung dalam media. Mendesain lebih lanjut model pembelajaran Think berbasis media pembelajaran I Spring suite 8. Setelah media dirancang dan dibuat maka dilakukan tahap pengembangan yaitu validasi produk oleh ahli dan uji coba produk pada proses perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas ahli materi dalam kriteria valid dengan persentase 88 persen, hasil validitas ahli media dalam kriteria valid dengan persentase media pembelajaran sebesar 89 persen. Dari uji kelayakan diperoleh hasil uji kelayakan. Disimpulkan bahwa media termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.Asbtract. This study aims to develop I Spring suite 8 learning media based Think learning model for Biology Education college students. The type of this research was Research and Development. The development of  learning media uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with the 4 D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate). This research starts from the define stage that was identificatethe material concepts that must be contained in media. Furthermoredesign the I Spring suite 8 learning media based Think learning model. After media has been designed and created, the development stage was carried out, namely product validation by experts and product testing in the lecture process. The results showed that the validity of the material experts was in valid criteria with the percentage of 88 percent, the results of validity by media experts were in valid criteria with the percentage of learning media as much as 89percent. From the feasibility test, it was concluded that the media is included in the categoryvery good.

In the learning process in the classroom, students often find it difficult to understand the material being taught because the use of learning media is not optimal. This study aims to develop pop-up book learning media and to determine the feasibility of the developed pop-up book learning media. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with research and development procedures from Borg and Gall. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet for expert validation and student responses. Based on the data analysis, the material expert's assessment was 95.6% in the "Very Good" category; the linguist's assessment of 87.5% is categorized as "Very Good"; the media expert's assessment of 94.3% is categorized as "Very Good" and the assessment of the response of students in class IV SD Negeri Secang by 99% is categorized as "Very Good". So that the pop-up book meets the criteria to be used as a learning medium.

This research is a type of research and development that aims to produce products in the form of multimedia powerpoint-based learning media in Learning Competency courses. This development research is a Research and Development research method with the 4D (four-D) model. This research is basically done through four main stages, namely define process, design process, develop process, and disseminate process. However, the research only reaches the stage of the development process. This study uses a questionnaire as a tool to test the feasibility of the media through the validation of media experts and material experts. The results of development are multimedia powerpoint-based learning media products. Assessments by material expert lecturers get scores 4,27 categorized as "Very Good". An assessment by a media expert lecturer got a score of 3.31 which was categorized as "Quite Good". The results of the average assessment from material and media experts get the value "3,79" means that multimedia-based learning media is categorized as "Good.".

Interactive learning media facilitate students to be understand and comprehend certain contents of engineering subjects. Therefore, this study aimed to develop e-instructional multimedia for students in the subject of basic electronics and electricity using adobe flash CS 5.5. This subject was selected to support the teaching-learning process at the Vocational Secondary Schools. There were five stages during the development of the learning media, including (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation (ADDIE). Furthermore, 30 students in total were selected to test the media practicability. The results revealed that this multimedia is acceptable based on five criteria: creativity, affectivity, efficiency, interestingly, and interactivity with the scores of 76.8, 76.8, 71.5, 77.4, and 74.4 respectively. This study suggested the implementation of the e-instructional multimedia for further understanding its empirical application.

 Abstract: This article is a result of an R&D (Research & Development) study which used a 4-D model to develope a teaching material in the form of student’s work sheet that based on science process skill. A valid teaching material has been developed in 2015. The framework of the work sheets was composed of identify (core competence, basic competence, topic, objective), inquiry question, analytical question, and conclusive question. The framework could minimalized the guiding expalanation as often found in experiment manual books. The result showed that the students’ performance in practicing the experiment given was in sufficient category, all of the student were responded positively and all of the activities expected in the learning process were impelemented.  Key words: work sheet, science process skill. Abstrak: Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian R & D (Research and Development) dengan mengngunakan model pengembangan perangkat 4-D yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Pada tahun 2015 telah dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid. Kerangka lembar kerja terdiri dari identitas (Kompetensi Inti, Kompetensi Dasar, judul, tujuan), pertanyaan penyelidikan, pertanyaan analisis, dan pertanyaan penyimpulan. Kerangka ini meminimalkan pernyataan tuntunan seperti dalam penuntun praktikum (yang  mirip ”resep kue”). Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan kinerja praktikum siswa berada pada kategori cukup, semua siswa merespon positif dan semua aktivitas yang diharapkan muncul dalam pembelajaran terlaksana seluruhnya.  Kata kunci: lembar kerja (LK), keterampilan proses sains.

This research aims to develop a "model of educative and attractive physical activity" (Majeda) based on children play as a mean for optimize kindergarteners’ growth and development. This research was using research and development of Borg and Gall. The research will be conducted in three stages: developing model, pilotting models, and the operational testing and dissemination of models. First phase of research to develop the model implemented by the following activities: preparing the model design, reviewing aspects of the teaching learning process in kindergarten, characteristics of kindergarterners, and the values and elements of motion in children play, choosing the format of Majeda, and validating the draft of Majeda. The result of analysis showed that the design of Majeda based on children play can be arranged, then validated by experts and practitioners.

Media is an important role in the learning process which will give effect to the understanding of the concepts and the learning result of students. Expected with the development of animation media based macromedia flash containing music and image features can provide a learning environment that is different from the usual. The purpose of this research is to develop an optical media-based animation tools of Macromedia Flash on the subjects of Physics Optical. The method used in this research is a method Research and development (R & D). The results show the development of media-based animation Macromedia Flash is needed creativity that generated media interest. The contents in the media based on the assessment of the three experts said optical media content animation tools are very good and worth using.

This study explores Android-based mobile learning media design on electrical content. The Media is designed to contain electrical content that is abstract and can not be seen with the naked eye. The content is depicted in a tangible and easily understood by students. The methods used in the development of the research media are Research and Development (R&D), and the development model conducted in this study is the IDI (Instructional Development Institute) Model of research results shows that the media Learning on electrical content is considered valid and the media is easy to use for students and teachers in the learning process.
