This research talks about the professional profile of the teachers who work with the courses of Financial Education and Sustainability in the municipal teaching network of Chapecó-SC. objective was to problematize the presence of the subject in the municipal basic education and how the teachers make the relation of the socio-environmental themes with the mathematics themes, taking as basis the training area of these professionals, the methodology and the contente taught in the course. For the data collection we used a structured interview with six teachers from three municipal schools, taking as a criterion for the selection of schools the Basic Education Development Index - IDEB. In the study it was noticed that all the interviewed teachers considered the course important for the students, however, they declared that they found difficulties to work the mathematical and social-environmental contents in an interrelated way due to the lack of preparation in the initial training, absence of improvement courses and, mainly, because they are not related areas. It is concluded that there is a need for continuous training for these professionals who are at school, as well as to broaden the curricular greening in the Teaching Training Degree that prepares teachers to work at basic education.

In this paper, the authors discuss on the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and facilitating (TaF) Malay Literature where it plays an important role in keeping with current educational developments. Through the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2013-2025 (Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2013-2025) it appears that efforts to increase ICT in education in preparation for generating human capital that ICT literacy need to be further enhanced. Furthermore, the country is facing severe challenges in its efforts to provide a quality education system. The main objective of this study was to identify the TaF method practiced by the teachers of Malay Literature and how they integrate ICT in TaF. The study was conducted in three selected schools in Negeri Sembilan which offer elective Malay Literature in the fourth grade. A semi-structured interview method for six teachers was conducted. Questionnaire techniques and observations during the TaF process were also implemented. Studies have found that various applications such as Kahoot, Nearpot, Powtoon, Google, animated creativity, audio materials and interactive games have simplified and furthered the TaF method of Malay Literature teachers and made it more effective and engaging. In addition, the animated app was found to be able to attract students to continue their TaF activities in the classroom. This is because animation is a set of graphics that is quickly displayed in a series of frames or objects. It would not be too much to say that TaF Malay Literature-based TaF could transfer information from a static textbook to a pattern. Based on the transformation in the TaF method that the teacher was trying to apply, the study found it had a positive effect. This is because the confidence and success of teachers in integrating ICT in TaF has increased the interest and enthusiasm of students in the subject of Malay Literature.

Talking about information and communication technologies (ICT) in education is not new, much less when it comes to discussions for integrating digital resources. Researchers such as Costa & Prado (2015), Santos & Vasconcelos (2018), Abar (2020) and Santos & Silva (2020), evidence this fact. Faced with this scenario, the following problematic question arises, which digital technologies are being increased more frequently in the teaching of mathematics? Bearing this question in mind, the present study focuses on investigating the frequency with which digital technologies are on school premises in the municipal network of Coruripe-AL, considering that this locus of investigation is a reference in the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB) in the state of Alagoas and Brazil. The research is of the qualitative type using cartographic inspirations; the field diary, semi-structured interview, documents and observations were used for data collection. In this work, it exposes the findings of one of the participants named P6. The findings demonstrate that digital technologies are gradually entering school premises, with emphasis on the use of smartphones and the interactive computer with a digital whiteboard.

Nowadays a wide range of digital tools are used to support the teaching and learning of languages. Their potential positive effects in the learning process can be particularly useful to address the challenges that may arise in approaches such as Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), where students are expected not only to gain mastery in the content of the subject, but also the foreign language that is used as a vehicle of communication. This paper aims to offer a proposal for the ICT-enrichment of CLIL subjects which has beenimplemented in a course of Biology and Geology in English taught in a Spanish Secondary School. A semi-structured interview with the teacher was used to analyse the needs faced in that particular educational setting. The results obtained, together with current literature on CLIL, were subsequently considered as the starting point for the judicious selection of digital platforms and tools to create and curate the supplementary resources from a principle-based approach. This process of ICT-enrichment is presented as a practice that could be applied in different CLIL courses to adapt them to the specific needs of each context.

The recent reprinting of Álvaro de Silva’s 1998 edition of a selection of More’s letters prompts the author to examine the subject of Spanish translations of More, and of de Silva’s general commentary on More’s correspondence and on his relationship to other humanists. The author reflects on aspects of More’s personality as exposed in his letters and uses what he finds as a corrective to several biographical misconceptions. He points out the strengths and weaknesses of de Silva’s work and compares it with that of other translators, particularly Elizabeth Rogers, and notes the particularly Spanish quality of de Silva’s edition.

Abstract In this study, it was aimed to examine the educational problems of basic education students migrating from Syria encountered in the schools. The research study group involved 37 Syrian students, 4 school managers and 18 teachers who were willing to participate to the research from four different secondary schools. The study group was chosen according to accessibility criterion. The data were collected through interviews. Therefore, the data was analyzed according to the qualitative methods. In the analysis of data collected by using face to face interview technique and semi-structured interview form, the content analysis method was used. According to the research results, it was determined that Syrian students have a language problem, especially during their education. They had sufficient knowledge of the Turkish language to manage their daily lives, however, academically the knowledge was concluded as insufficient. The main problems occurring among Syrian students are communication skills and adaptation. Main causes of these two problems are the differences between the ethnic origin among the Syrians students and the integration and communication with Turkish students. The Syrian students can be divided into two group as Syrian Kurdish or Syrian Arab. Both groups indicate that it is hard to communicate with each other due to the language difference. Furthermore, the Syrian girls expressed that they have more difficulties in being accepted and making friends, which causes the feeling that they are left alone. The findings of the research reveal that Syrian parents do not visit the school and that their skills of understanding and speaking Turkish are far behind their children's ability to understand and speak Turkish. According to the students 'views, the main reason for their parents' not visiting the school is the language problem. According to the data obtained from the interviews conducted by the administrators, guidance teachers and class teachers of the schools, it has been determined that some Syrian students have problems in integration during school, lack of motivation for the classes, and a more introvert student profile compared to other students. On the other hand, it was also stated that it was uncommon that Syrian students were included or had caused for any improper circumstances at school or were involved in any disciplinary case.

The teacher is a major milestone in the world of education, the ability and achievement of students cannot be separated from the role of a teacher in teaching and guiding students. Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, in Article 1 explained that teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education and education medium. Whereas in Article 4 of the Act, it is explained that the position of teachers as professionals serves to enhance the dignity and role of teachers as learning agents to function to improve the quality of national education.Decision making is an election process, among various alternatives that aim to meet one or several targets. The decision-making system has 4 phases, namely intelligence, design, choice and implementation. These phases are the basis for decision making, which ends with a recommendation. The Preferences Selection Index (PSI) method is a rarely used decision support system method. This method is a method developed by stevanie and Bhatt (2010) to solve the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). With the right consideration, this method can be one of the tools to determine policies in decision-making systems, especially the selection of outstanding teachers. Determination of policies taken as a basis for decision making, must use criteria that can be defined clearly and objectively. Keywords: Decision Support System, PSI, Selection of Achieving Teachers

This review is devoted to the monograph by Jan Nedvěd “We do not decline our heads. The events of the year 1968 in Karlovy Vary”. The Karlovy Vary municipal museum coincided its publishing with the fiftieth anniversary of the Prague spring which, considering the way of the presentation, turned the book not only to scientific event but also to the social one. The book describes sociopolitical trends in the region before the year 1968, the development of the reformist movement, the invasion and advance of the armies of the Warsaw Pact countries, and finally the decline of the reformist mood and the beginning of the normalization. Working on his writing, the author deeply studied the materials of the local archive and gathered the unique selection of the photographs depicting the passage of the soviet army through the spa town and the protest actions of its inhabitants. In the meantime, Nedvěd takes undue freedom with scientific terms, and his selection of historiography raises questions. The author bases his research on the Czech papers and scarcely uses the books of Russian origin. He also did not study the subject of the participating of the GDR’s army in the operation Danube, although these troops were concentrated on the borders of Karlovy Vary region as well. Because of this decision, there are no materials from German archives or historiography in the monograph. In general, the work lacks the width of studying its subject, but it definitively accomplishes the task of depicting the Prague spring from the regional perspective.

Studying the historical facts of past wars and armed conflicts and natural and man-made emergencies, today in the Republic of Kazakhstan one of the most important security issues is the preparation and organization of the evacuation of the population from possible dangerous zones, taking into account the emergence of new threats to the country’s security. The paper presents an algorithm for constructing universal scales of the distribution function of opportunities by types of support and rebuilding them into subject scales using display functions. The purpose of the paper is to determine the integral indicators characterizing the possibility of accommodation of the evacuated population and the impact on resources during relocation. On the subject scales of cities and districts of the region, indicators of the possibility of relocation of a certain amount of the evacuated population by types of support and indicators characterizing the impact on the district’s resources during resettlement of a certain amount of the evacuated population are determined. It was concluded that the use of integrated indicators allows the selection of areas to accommodate the evacuated population without the use of statistical data, in conditions of incomplete and inaccurate information. The presented method does not replace traditional methods based on classical methods of territory assessment by the level of life sustenance, but also allows their reasonable combination with the experience of specialists in this field, taking into account the incompleteness, uncertainty, and inconsistency of the initial data of the study area, which does not allow the application of existing methods.
