Penalizing children who commit crime is actually intended for their-own sake. This kind of penalty has been created in such a way to suit the children. Therefore, the investigation carried out by the authorities before imposing the penalty should not eliminate the aspect of guidance and protection. The punishment formulations that give deterrent effect to those juvenile criminals should be the best effort through non-formal processes that have an optimal role to develop, such as families, schools, or social monitoring institutions. Namely: a). Informal warning; which involves the police to warn the children that they have done the wrong thing and make them not to do it again. There will not be any criminal minutes for this kind of punishment. b). Redeem mistakes with good deeds/ restitution: the children are asked to redeem their mistakes with good deeds, for example by paying compensation to the victim according to the children's capability. c). Community service: those children are ordered to do serve the community or fulfill certain tasks for several hours.

As the name implies, the Tourist Destination Sosok Hill (Jabal Kelor) provided many plants of Moringa leaves that brought several benefits and considerable selling value, only if the community or traders could manage them well. The fact showed that the management of Moringa leaves production into food product had not been conducted optimally. Nowadays, the Moringa leaves were only processed as a complement vegetable dish for Sego Wiwit menu, which was commonly sold, by one of the traders in that location. According to that problem, University of Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Yogyakarta, majoring hotel management study program took the initiative to hold a training or community service to make use Moringa leaves into more valuable products that were chips products. It was seen that the participants’motivation in joining the training of Moringa leaves chips production was significantly high. Thus, it was expected that the training of the Moringa leaves might contribute positively to the participants, by giving benefits to the issues dealing with health and economy condition. Moreover, Moringa leaf was also possible to be made as a meal or typical souvenirs from Jabal Kelor tourist destination. Besides, the participants could also creatively modify the product of Moringa leaf chips with various tasty flavors. At last, the participants expected to get further training on primary food production for edible tubers that were hugely available around the Puncak Sosok tourist area (Jabal Kelor).

Abstract:COVID-19 outbreak had changed the order of social life in Indonesia. As school isshutting down, many teachers face the hardship to observe the students’ activity. Many studentsseen active by online but they didn’t give their best effort to join the learning process. One waycould be used to overcome this problem is by conducting the interactive learning process thatenabled the realtime interaction between teacher and students. This community service activitywas held in SMP Al Furqan MQ located in Tebuireng that involving 33 participants. The usedmethod was lecturing dan direct implementation. This training enhanced the participants’information and insight so it could be used in online learning process.Keywords: Online learning process, interactive learning processAbstrak: Wabah COVID-19 banyak mengubah tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat di Indonesia.Dengan ditiadakannya cara tatap muka dalam sistem pembelajaran di sekolah, guru memilikikesulitan untuk memantau aktivitas siswa. Sering terjadi siswa aktif secara maya namun padakenyataannya siswa tidak mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara yang bisa digunakanuntuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan mengadakan pembelajaran daring yangmemungkinkan adanya interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepadaMasyarakat ini dilakukan di SMP Al Furqan MQ Tebuireng dengan total 33 peserta. Metode yangdigunakan adalah pelatihan dan praktik. Abstrak Sebagai agent of change mahasiswa dituntut tidak hanya memiliki ilmu dan keahlian sesuai dengan bidangnya, tetapi juga siap untuk terjun ke dalam masyarakat mengimplementasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang mereka milliki, membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan riil yang sedang dihadapi masyarakat atau memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat supaya mereka bisa hidup lebih baik. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut institut teknologi sepuluh nopember (ITS) menyelenggarakan program kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) kepada mahasiswa. Sesuai dengan wilayah keilmuan mahasiswa yang berbasis pada teknologi dan aplikasinya, maka kegiatan KKN juga bertema teknologi serta aplikasinya sehingga kegiatan-kegiatan KKN di dalam masyarakat juga tidak lepas dari tema teknologi dan aplikasinya. Dengan demikian, KKN ITS menjadi sarana yang tepat untuk membantu masyarakat menghadapi era revolusi industri sekarang ini di mana teknologi dan aplikasinya menjadi inti keberlangsungannya. Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, KKN tematik, penerapan teknologi, revolusi industri Abstract As agents of change, students are required not only to have knowledge and expertise in their fields, but they must also be ready to be in the community to implement the knowledge and skills they have, help solve real problems faced by the community or provide knowledge and skills to the community so they can lead better life. To meet these goals, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS) conducted community service program (KKN) for students to communities. In line with ITS students’ background, the themes of KKN were related with technology and its applications, so that the KKN activities in the community were also inseparable from the theme of technology and its application. Thus, KKN ITS is the right medium to help the community in facing the current era of the industrial revolution in which technology and its application serve as its core. This community service activity discussed the introduction of Islamic Banking in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic at the Nuruddin Mosque, Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an introduction to Sharia Banking to the people of Gelebak Dalam Village with the hope that the community or socialization participants can understand the current existence of Islamic banking which is everywhere both in villages and in urban areas. The socialization participants can also find out that sharia talks are currently being discussed by many people. Sharia banking is a banking system developed based on sharia or Islamic law.

[Bahasa]: Persoalan radikalisme dan terorisme di Indonesia sudah sangat nampak kian berbahaya. Bahkan, aksi tersebut sudah menyeret anak-anak di dalamnya. Misalnya saja bom bunuh diri di tiga gereja Surabaya pada tahun 2018 silam yang juga melibatkan empat orang anak yang notebenenya masih sekolah, bahkan yang menyedihkan dua diantaranya masih berada pada tingkatan Sekolah Dasar. Pengabdian ini berupaya untuk turut berkontribusi dalam menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut dengan bentuk pengabdian di lembaga pendidikan dasar Islam, yakni Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an (TPQ) dengan kerangka besar moderasi beragama. Kegiatan yang dijalankan ada dua, yakni parenting yang bernuansa wasathiyah dan perpustakaan Qur’ani. Dengan metode  Participatory Action Research (PAR) dan dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu tiga bulan, yaitu Juli sampai September 2020, pengabdi sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa dua kegiatan tersebut cukup bisa membangun pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat TPQ menjadi lebih moderat, atau paling tidak, bisa lebih memperkuat moderasi beragama yang sudah mereka yakini. Mereka menyadari bahwa harus adanya kecintaan terhadap Indonesia dan adanya kesadaran bahwa perbuatan radikalisme dan terorisme merupakan perbuatan yang keji. Meskipun demikian, pengabdi menyadari bahwa perlu waktu yang jauh lebih lama untuk bisa merubah pemahaman ke arah yang benar-benar moderat. Kata Kunci: moderasi; parenting wasathiyah; perpustakaan; Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an [English]: The problems of radicalism and terrorism in Indonesia have become increasingly dangerous. The actions have already dragged children into it. For example, the suicide bombing in three churches in Surabaya in 2018 involved four schoolchildren; sadly, two of them were still at the elementary school level. This community service program seeks to resolve these problems by implementing religious moderation in Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an (TPQ). The program comprised two activities; parenting with wasathiyah nuances and the Qur'anic library and applied Participatory Action Research (PAR). It was implemented within a period of three months, from July to September 2020. The results show that both programs are able to construct a moderate religious understanding of the TPQ community, or at the very least, reinforce the existing religious moderation they already have. They realized that people must love their homeland (Indonesia) and that radicalism and terrorism are heinous. Nonetheless, it will take much longer to change their understanding into a truly moderate one. Keywords: moderation; parenting wasathiyah; library; Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an

Nowadays, the problem of teachers in Economics is how a teacher should teach not only cognitive abilities but the ability to apply Economics in daily life. This community service program aims to provide skills for Economics teachers in teaching financial literacy to students. The method of implementation in this activity is training and mentoring in the implementation of financial literacy books. This program is intended for Economics/Accounting teachers at MGMP Malang City. This program was carried out in four stages, namely socialization and discussion, implementation of problem-solving, training and mentoring, and evaluation. The implementation of this life-based “financial literacy” book provides insight to teachers about the implementation of financial literacy and learning innovations that can be applied to Economics learning in schools in the future. This activity is a forum for the development of learning innovations in the Economics/Accounting Subject Teacher Community or Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP).

ABSTRAK: Kampung Batu Busuk Kelurahan Lambung Bukit Kecamatan Pauh merupakan salah satu sentra produksi buah durian di Sumatera Barat.Walaupun nama durian Batu Busuk sudah terkenal dan banyak dicari oleh pencinta durian pada saat musim durian, namun belum ada upaya untuk mengangkat durian Batu Busuk untuk bisa dikenal lebih luas. Langkah awal untuk mengangkat nama durian Batu Busuk adalah membenahi identitas varietas durian Batu Busuk, karena sampai sekarang karakteristik dari durian Batu Busuk yang sesungguhnya tidak jelas.Tanaman yang sudah dikarakterisasi juga perlu diperbanyak agar kedepan, buah yang dihasilkan oleh kelurahan Batu Busuk adalah buah dengan karakter unggul tertentu. Masyarakat atau petani yang menanam durian juga perlu memiliki keahlian memperbanyak durian unggulnya. Penerapan ipteks yang dilakukan pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini menggunakan beberapa metode antara lain penyuluhan, demonstrasi aplikasi dan demplot pembibitan durian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat Batu Busuk mengenai arti penting pendaftaran varietas durian. Kegiatan demplot pembibitan durian dan demonstrasi teknik sambung meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai propagasi durian. Although the Batu Busuk durian is already well-known and is sought after by durian lovers during the durian season, there is no attempt to lift the Batu Busuk durian to be known more widely. The first step to lifting the Batu Busuk durian is to fix the varieties identity of the Batu Busuk durian because until now the characteristics of the real Batu Busuk durian are not clear. Plants that have been characterized also need to be propagated so that in the future, the fruit produced by the Batu Busuk village is a fruit with certain superior characters. The community or farmers who plant durian also need to have the expertise to increase their superior durian. The application of science and technology conducted in community service activities uses several methods including counseling, demonstrations of applicationand demonstration plots of durian nurseries. The results of the activity showed the extension activities conducted succeeded in increasing the knowledge of the Batu Busuk community regarding the importance of registering durian varieties. The activities of the durian nursery demonstration plot and demonstration of connection techniques can increase the knowledge and skills of the community regarding the propagation of durian.Keywords: Superior durian, Varieties registration, Appropriate technology, Connection technique

The month of Ramadhan is the month of education (tarbiyah), which runs every year for a month. Ramadhan educates students to carry out fasting and practices that bring their advantages. The month of Ramadan is always awaiting by Muslims around the world. Ramadhan, its various functions and consequences, effected teachers' roles and responsibilities that must also deliver educating and guiding their students during the school day so that someday they become someone who can control their desires and have high motivation to do good deeds. The purpose of this community service was to increase students' motivation to worship through the Pesantren Kilat program. This activity was carried out at SMPN 3 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir, Riau, Indonesia. The pesantren kilat activities were important, to maintain the enthusiasm of student’s worship.

The area of open land in the City of Surabaya is decreasing from year to year. This is influenced by the number of settlements and housing that have begun to emerge and develop, thus increasing the population level in an area. Humans are by nature social creatures. Can not be separated from other individuals and need each other. Individual someone indirectly lives together with the surrounding environment. This is what triggers that each individual must be social to one another. However, along with the times and technological advances today, many individuals often forget this and think more about their respective interests. Time to gather and meet face to face with neighbors, chat with each other directly or with the surrounding environment is also very minimal. Broadly speaking, the Babatan Pilang community is individual. The background to the problems that have been previously described is the basis for this community service to be able to provide input to the community of Babatan Pilang RT. 003 RW 005. The purpose of this community service is to help the community or housing residents to restore and create a social society. This community service program is carried out by creating and arranging common spaces for socializing.

Majority of people in Kelambir V Kebon, Hamparan Perak Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency work as farmers. Farmers in this area have been experiencing obstacles in marketing their yields if the results are abundant. To solve this problem, some activities will be conducted in the form of: (1) transfer of knowledge, such as lecture and discussion, (2) training, and (3) assistance on the corn processing techniques. The objectives and targets to be achieved through these activities including: (a) the farmers community or group can process their yields optimally, so that the quality is improved and food diversification program can run well, (b) the farmers and the local community in Kelambir V Village can perform the processing techniques of yields skillfully, so they can obtain additional income through the resulting products, (c) the farmers and the local community in Kelambir V Village can maintain health by making corn as an alternative main food product, (d) creating a cooperation between university and community in the form of community service, and (e) being a partner of government in the processing of crops (i.e. corn) into corn processing products to increase income of the farmers. The activities which have been done were location survey, lecture, the implementation of corn processing techniques into processed corn products named dodol, sustainable monitoring, and product marketing guidance.
