Abstract The paper examines the use of Google Translate as an Alternative tool for assisting students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia to translate and develop their knowledge and skills in doing Translation. The participants of the study were 36 students at the Applied Linguistic of Doctoral Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta who had registered of the year 2017. Based on literature  review, analysis of the collecting data, and an assessment of the course content and activities inside and outside the learning process, the findings suggest that most Applied Linguistic of Doctoral Program students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta recognize Google Translate as  an Alternative tool for doing references book translation. In fact, some students reported that they could optimally ,benefit from self-learning if they were assisted to use Google Translate effectively. Moreover, using Google Translate for doing classroom tasks and reference books translation encourage students to study independently, and to shape their own strategies for solving language problem. This study was aimed at analyzing and interpreting the instructional media existing in the classical period of the Hindu - Buddhist kingdoms. The object of the study was inscriptions found on the Semeru Slope, inclduing Widodaren, Pasrujambe, and Gerba. This study employed a qualitative method with an archeological-historical framework. The data was collected through a literature review and in-situ research of the inscriptions. The collected data was analyzed using a structural analysis in the forms of transliteration of the contents and meaning written at the inscriptions. The study found that there is evidence of the use of instructional media in teaching process. This finding is also supported by the Nāgarakṛtâgama and Bujaņga Manik manuscripts which narrate educational and moral values as one of the characteristics of instructional media. In addition, the instructional media serve as a tool support the teaching and learning process at that time.

In this chapter, the guiding principles of the modularization content arrangement that some instructors use is offered. Eight planning steps in module instructional design are summarized. A general strategy of these principles and applications in a case study is discussed in this chapter as well. A new modularization approach in instructional design, defining the course goals and arranging the course content, are two important issues for instructors. The author hopes the process of the module instructional design through essential knowledge and skills in the computer literacy course development will not only be a valuable synthesizing experience for instructors, but also the modularization approach may be preferable to students with a variety of backgrounds.

This article discusses the readiness of students to activate their cognitive activity in the study of electrotechnical drawing, using programmed lessons to acquire new knowledge and skills to work with the software product CADdy ++ Electric. The lessons developed in this way enable the learners to look at the material selectively, depending on their needs and to determine the pace of their progress. The use of a computer system as a tool for self-learning is directly related to increasing the quality and efficiency of the independent work of learners, which contributes to increasing their responsibility and motivation in the learning process.

Abstract Purpose: This study aims at describing the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Research methodology: This research uses a literature review method to describe the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Results: The results show that (1) the principals’ efforts to make changes include catalysts, creators, facilitators, and stabilizers, (2) the supporting factors are the principals’ efforts to make changes and support from teachers and parents to make these changes, and (3) there are several factors, including inhibiting factors. These factors are unfolding needs which include economy, social needs, self-esteem, and individuals that requirefinding new work methods, new work groups that cause inconvenience and obscurity to achieve, limiting the individuals’ share of information and school organizational resources, and orthodox thinking leading to underdevelopment of knowledge and skills as well as limiting authority, increasing workload, increasing number of rules, and intimidating individual career development. Limitations: This study only focuses on the principle of making changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Contribution: This research contributes to the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors to achieve school goals and a good leader to manage the school.

This study examines the efforts to improve the Multiple Intelligence of children through Self Directed Learning (SDL) in TK Inayah, Sidodadi, Paiton Probolinggo. In learning activities require high motivation and a supportive atmosphere in the learning process. For that learners need classroom of life in which there is a spirit of self-directed learning or self-learning so that the various talents that have children are expected to be exposed well. This research uses qualitative method of case study type by interviewing principal, teacher and ask directly to learners. The results show that Self Directed Learning (SDL) in this institution can improve Multiple Intelligence in children. They freely choose the space according to their talents and interests. Advisor only accompanies and directs according to the potential of the child.

Background: Industry revolution 4.0 (IR.4.0) paradigm, nurses were required to have adequate competencies to carry out their professional duties. Digital information should be mastered by the nursing student. Purpose: This study aims to explain digital literacy competencies on nursing students in the era of IR 4.0 in the Indonesian context. Methode: A literature review was conducted in this study using Rayyan Systematic Reviews Software. Results: There was 14 literature analyzed describing Student’s Information literacy competency and Internet of Thing. Conclusion: Digital literacy for nursing students today is an inevitability, and nursing students who have digital literacy competencies have the potential to be able to increase nursing knowledge and skills as ontological competencies in their learning process.
