Social Sciences is a subject that studies and discusses social issues in society. The learning process of a subject will take place well and smoothly if the teacher in delivering the material has strategies and methods in delivering it to the students. The purpose of this article is to describe the social science learning methodology from literature review analysis. The method used is to use various literature review on the social science learning methodology. The social science is a field of study in the learning process is expected to provide students to be responsible in social life. Somesocial science learning methodologies are tailored to the conditions of students and facilities available so as to provide good learning outcomes with indicators of mastery and student learning achievement.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen murni (True Eksprimen). Contextual teaching learning (CTL) dapat menghubungkan kemampuan yang diharapkan apda suatu mata pelajaran dengan pekerjaan atau kehidupan sehari-hari. Peneliti membatasi masalah yaitu siswa merasa bosan ketika belajar, kurang berpartisipasi, dan rendahnya perhatian siswa ketika pelajaran IPS, sehingga hasil belajar yang didapat masih dibawah nilai KKM. Tujuan Penelitian penulisan ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) memperoleh gambaran tentang penerapan model pembelajaran CTL dalam pembelajaran IPS (2) memperoleh gambaran tentang hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar menggunakan Model Pembelajaran CTL. (3) mengetahui pengaruh tentang hasil belajar IPS antara yang diajar dengan model Pembelajaran CTL. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CTL berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai hasil belajar IPS siswa. Setelah dianalisis pengaruh tersebut disebabkan oleh: Pertama peserta didik kelas eksperimen proses pembelajaran lebih aktif dan bermakna daripada kelas kontrol. Kedua, penerapan model pembelajaran (CTL) dikelas tiga pada penelitian ini membuat peserta didik lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Ketiga salah satu prinsip pembelajaran CTL adalah konstruktivis. Esensi dari proses konstruktivis adalah bahwa peserta didik harus dapat menemukan dan mentrasformasikan suatu informasi ke situasi nyata. keempat adalah kegiatan diskusi yang dilaksanakan dikelas eksperimen.  Kegiatan diskusi dalam pembelajaran CTL membangun terciptanya Learning Community, sehingga siswa yang memiliki kemampuan lebih akan membantu peserta didik lain yang kurang dalam kekompaknya. This research is a pure experimental research (True Experiment). Contextual teaching learning (CTL) can connect the skills expected in a subject with work or daily life. Researchers limit the problem to students who feel bored when learning, lack of participation, and lack of student attention during social science lessons, so that the learning outcomes obtained are still below KKM score. The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to obtain an overview of the application of CTL model in social science learning; (2) to obtain a description of the social science learning outcomes of students who are taught using CTL model; (3) to determine the effect of social science learning outcomes of those taught using CTL model. The findings of this study indicate that CTL model has an effect on increasing the students' social science learning outcomes. After analyzing the effect, it is caused by: First of all, in the experimental class, the learning process of students is more active and meaningful than the control class. Secondly, the implementation of CTL model in third grade in this study makes students more active during the learning process. Thirdly, one of the principles of CTL model is constructivism. The point of the constructivistic process is that students must be able to find and transform information into real situations. The fourth reason is a discussion activity carried out in the experimental class. Discussion activities in CTL model build the creation of community learning so that students who have more abilities will help other students who are less capable.

The background of this research is the issue of globalization that impact on society's lives, especially school-age children (students) who started to use the technology in every activity. The problem in this study is whether the method of inquiry – based on Science Technology and Society has a significant effect on social science learning outcomes of students in SMPN 1 Bandung. This study use quasi-experimental approach, with nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) the Control Group Design. The average result of experimental class’ pre-test is 59.72, and the post-test average is 77.08, the gain is 0, 46, While in the control classroom the average of pre - test is 56.81, and the post-test is 68.75, and the gain is 0, 28. There seems to be a significant improvement between the experimental class and the control class. The results were analyzed using the data analysis software called SPSS 16 for windows shows the sig is 0.000 < α 0.05, which means the test results showed that Ho strongly rejected, means that there are some learning outcomes distinctions between the student who get a method of inquiry -based learning with Science Technology and Society Methods with those who received conventional learning at the post-test. Post-test results of the students who received inquiry -based learning with the Science Technology and Society Methods is better than the students who received conventional learning. It can be seen from the motivation to learn, learner inquiry frequency, the students learning outcomes in land use and settlement patterns material based on the physical condition of the earth's surface. The recommendations were based on the research findings and the discussion of the effect of the use of inquiry -based science technology society method. It is expected that schools, Social Sciences’ MGMP, social science Teacher and the next researcher can use and develop the inquiry -based science learning technology methods community in the social science.

This research aims to find out the Social science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Sungai Sandung 1 by implementing picture and picture learning model. The type of research was classroom action research consisting of two action cycles. The research sampling technique was cluster random class. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Sungai Sandung 1 in academic year of 2018/2019 consisting of 19 students by implementing picture and picture learning model. The research data collection instruments were tests in the forms of multiple choices and observation sheets. Based on the research data, the result of pre-cycle showed that 3 students got score of ≥70 with completeness percentage of 16%. The result of cycle I showed that there was no difference (improvement) on student’s learning outcomes that number of students who passed the completeness criteria in the cycle I was equal to one in the pre-cycle which was only three students got score of ≥70 or the completeness percentage was 16%. The result of cycle II showed that students who got score of ≥70 increased significantly which were 16 students with learning completeness percentage of 84%. The result shows that there is a significant difference (improvement) on the Social science learning outcomes of students by implementing picture and picture learning model in the fourth grade of SDN Sungai sandung 1.

The process and student learning outcomes in science learning material properties of light is a problem faced by class IV SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. Student activity and learning outcomes have not been maximized because the teacher delivered science learning materials using the lecture method. This is the background of the researchers to conduct research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science with material properties of light with learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, amounting to 27 students consisting of 14 female students and 13 male students. The implementation of this study used 2 cycles. Instruments used to collect data are observation sheets, interviews, documentation and test questions. The results of this study indicate that science learning outcomes with material properties of light using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi have increased in two cycles with quite satisfactory values. There was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 an average value of 68.51 to 75.37 in cycle 2. In addition, there was an increase in the learning process of students in science learning carried out by teachers using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. There is a tendency in the education field today to return to the idea that children will learn better if the environment is created naturally. Learning will be more meaningful if children "experience" themselves what they are learning, not 'knowing' it. Target-oriented learning of material mastery proves to be successful in short-term 'remembering' competitions, but fails to equip children to solve problems in long-term life. The problems that would to be studied in this study are: (a) how is the improvement of Social Science learning outcomes by applying the Make A-Match Model to it? (b) how does the Make A-Match Model apply towards the learning motivation? The objectives of this study are: (a) want to know the improvement in Social Science learning achievement after the implemetation of the Make A-Match Model. (b) want to know the effect of Make A-Match Model towards students’ motivation of the subject after it is applied. This research is used two rounds of action research. In each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection and revision. The target of this research is the fourth grade students of Mongodow. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of analysts obtained student achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle II namely, cycle I (65%), cycle II (83%). The conclusion of this research is the Make A-Match Model of Social Science learning could positively influence the motivation of learning of central students, and this learning model could be used as an alternative to Social Science learning.

This research is based on the learning process carried out by the teacher who seems improvised. This is proven by the teacher teaching without using models, approaches, or strategies that can make the learning process more effective. The teacher also does not prepare before starting the lesson, this is evidenced by the absence of media used by the teacher to assist the learning process. the purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes by applying constructivism learning. This research was conducted at 003 Benai Kecil Elementary School with 22 students as research subjects. This study uses classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The results of these two cycles of research prove that, in the initial data of students who completed as many as 10 people with a percentage of completeness of 45.5% with incomplete categories. In the first cycle, students who finished as many as 17 people with a percentage of 77.2% with a complete category. Whereas in the second cycle, students who have returned have increased to as many as 22 people with a percentage of 90.9% with the category of completion. The results of this study prove that the kontriktivism learning model is effective in improving science learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SD Negeri 003 Benai Kecil, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the STAD model aided by Scrapbook media in theme 7 "The Beauty of Diversity in My Country" in the content of Indonesian Language and Social Sciences subject of fourth grade of elementary school. The method used in this study was classroom action research conducted in fourth grade of elementary school, which numbered 19 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was obtained through tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that an increase in students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect of cycle I gained a classical completeness of 63.16%, then an increase in cycle II gained a classical completeness of 78.95% in Indonesian Languange Subject.  In the Social Science subject,  cycle I received a classical completeness of 52.63% and increased in cycle II gained 73.69% classical completeness. Psychomotor domain of students’ learning outcomes also experienced an increase when Indonesian Language cycle I gained an average of 72.28% and increased in cycle II by 77.31% with good criteria. In the Social Science, cycle I obtained an average of 72.63% and increased in the cycle II by an average of 80.94% with good criteria. It can be concluded that the application of the STAD learning model assisted by Scrapbook media can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains.

Abstrak Kritik sosial sebagai sebuah ide atau berbagai bentuk gagasan yang bertolak belakang dengan kenyataan yang tidak sesuai dengan tujuan dan harapan dari tatanan dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas aspek sosial yang meliputi struktur cerita, masalah sosial dan kritik sosial bermuatan lokal Bali yang tercermin dalam kumpulan cerita pendek berbahasa Bali Nguntul Tanah Nulengék Langit karya I Made Suarsa. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik interpretatif. Dalam pengolahan data dilakukan tahapan klasifikasi, pendeskripsian, penerjemahan, dan penganalisisan data. Untuk mengetahui masalah sosial dan kritik sosial dalam cerpen tersebut, digunakan teori sosiologi sastra dan teori struktural untuk mengetahui struktur formal yang membangun cerita tersebut. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kritik sosial yang dapat terhimpun dalam cerita tersebut adalah kritik sosial terhadap kemiskinan, kritik sosial disorganisasi keluarga dan kritik terhadap adat dan tradisi serta serta kehidupan sosial masyarakat Bali. Dengan demikian, lahirnya cerpen karya I Made Suarsa ini memperlihatkan kemegahan pariwisata, masih terdapat ketimpangan sosial dalam masyarakat Bali. Kata kunci: cerpen, kritik sosial, masalah sosial, muatan lokal Bali Abstract Social criticism as an idea or various forms of ideas that are contrary to reality is not in accordance with the goals and expectations of the order in society. This study aims to discuss the social aspects which include story structure, social issues and social criticism with local Balinese content as re ected in a collection of short stories in Balinese language “Nguntul Tanah Nulengék Langit” by I Made Suarsa. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and note taking techniques. In data processing, the stages of classi cation, description, translation and data analysis are carried out. To nd out the social problems and social criticism in the short story, the sociology approach of Sapardi Djoko Damono’s view is used and is assisted by a structural approach to determine the formal structure that builds the story. The results of the study show that the social criticisms that can be collected in the story are social criticism of poverty, social criticism of family disorganization and criticism of customs and traditions as well as the social life of Balinese people who seem famous by tourism, but in fact there are still social inequalities in Balinese society.
