Abstract: The staff’s professionalism is assumed to be affected by the variation their career Development, organizational climate and their job satisfaction. The aim of the experimental study reported here was to test the hypothesis. The causal study was conducted in Makassar State University, from June to October 2009, involving a sample of 120, which had been selected from the overall 566 staff members of the university, by using the simple random sampling technique. Data of each variabel were collected through a survey and analysed descriptively and inferentially through the path analysis. Results show direct and positive effects of career development and organisational climate, respectively, on their job satisfaction. Result alto show indirect effects of the staff’s career development on the professionalism through job satisfaction, and of organizational climate on the staff’s career development, job satisfaction, and their perception of the organizational climate in the strategis Plan of Makassar State University to improve profesional human resource.       Abstrak: Keprofesioanalan staf diasumsikan dapat dipengaruhi oleh variasi pengembangan karier mereka, iklim organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja merak. Tujuan dari penelitian eksperimen ini adalah untuk menguji hipotesis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Negeri Makassar, dari bulan Juni hingga Oktober 2009, yang melibatkan 120 sampel, yang dipilih dari 566 anggota staf Universitas, dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dari masing-masing variabel dikumpulkan melalyi survey dan analisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial melalui path analysis.  Hasil menunjukkan secara langsung dan positif pengaruh dari pengembangan karier dan iklim organisasi pada pengembangan karier staf, kepuasan kerja, dan persepsi mereka terhadap iklim organisasi dalam rencana strategis dai Universutitas Negeri Makassar untuk meningkatkan sumber manusia yang profesional.

This study aims to: 1) analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on motivation 2) analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on job satisfaction, 3) analyze the influence of motivation on job satisfaction, 4) analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on job satisfaction through motivation. The research was conducted at PT CIPTA TPI (MNCTV) with a sample of 92 employees. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results show that: 1) there is an influence of leadership and work environment on motivation, 2) there is an influence of leadership and work environment on job satisfaction, 3) there is an effect of motivation on job satisfaction, 4) motivation does not play a role in improving leadership and work environment on job satisfaction at PT CIPTA TPI (MNCTV).

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of stress and job satisfaction toward the Authorities of Education, Youth and Sport of Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Employee’s absenteeism. The research was conducted by using survey method with quantitative approach and path analysis technique. The population of this research is 103 personnel. Research samples selected as much as 82 personnel using simple random sampling technique. The data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed by using path analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis in this research it is concluded: (1) stress has direct positive effect to absenteeism; (2) job satisfaction has direct negative effect to absenteeism; (3) stress has negative effect to job satisfaction

The shortage of professional nurses in a hospital is to threaten service quality and patient safety. Inadequate compensation, no career development, and dissatisfaction can increase turnover intention. Increasing professional nurses' resilience is better than recruiting new nurses from an economic perspective. The research analyzed the effect of compensation and carrier development on job satisfaction and the impact on nurses' turnover intention in a private hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design with the cross-sectional approach was used. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The samples consisted of 47 nurses who made a self-reported by filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis used Partial Least Square. The study found that compensation and career development had direct and significant effects on Turnover Intention. Moreover, compensation and career development also had indirect and significant Turnover Intention effects through job satisfaction as the intervening variable.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMP Yayasan Budi Mulia Lourdes Jakarta. Metodologi penelitian adalah survei yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis dan interpretasi data menunjukkan bahwa (1) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, (3) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap efikasi diri.KATA KUNCI: efikasi diri, kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja.  THE EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND SELF EFFICACY OF THE JOB SATISFACTION TEACHERABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of transformational leadership and self efficacy of the job satisfaction teacher in Junior High School of Budi Mulia Lourdes Jakarta.The research methodology was survey which was selected by simple random sampling technique. Analysis and interpretation of the data indicates that (1) transformational leadership of a positive direct effect on job satisfaction, (2) self efficacy positive direct effect on job satisfaction, (3) transformational leadership positive direct effect on the self efficacy.

This research objective to determine the satisfaction, discipline, and motivation of employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi, and also to determine satisfaction and discipline of influence on work motivation the employee of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi. There are 90 employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi as a sample in this study. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling techniques. Observation and questionnaire methods are used in collecting the data. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis show the good realization of job satisfaction (average score 3.63) and employee work discipline (average score 3.61) so that it has a positive impact on employee work motivation (average score 3.57). These results are supported by Bekasi Tirta Bhagasasi PDAM data in 2018 which obtained a level of realization of workforce satisfaction of 61.38% (sufficient category), the value of realization of employee work discipline at 5.80% (sufficient category), and the level of realization of labor motivation of 60.71% (sufficient category). t value calculated job satisfaction (b1) = 9,133 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees. T value is calculated work discipline (b2) = 5.535 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that work discipline has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees.

This study investigated the influence of emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication and job satisfaction on the job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited, Warri. Four null hypotheses guided the study. The correlation research design was adopted in the study. A sample of 400 was selected by the researchers using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a validated and reliable questionnaire. Regression statistics was used to test the stated null hypotheses, at 0.05 level of significance. The findings in the study showed that the four null hypotheses were rejected which is an indication that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction and job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited.

ABSTRAK Kegiatan Outdoor Based Character Building (OBCB) merupakan kegiatan kemahasiswaan yang rutin dilaksnakan di Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga Universitas Negeri Jakarta (FIO UNJ). Kegiatan OBCB diharapkan memberikan dampak positif pada sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab mahasiwa sehingga juga diharapkan akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar, dalam hal ini indeks prestasi akumulatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi sikap disiplin dan bertanggung jawab terhadap indeks prestasi mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan OBCB tahun 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan Teknik Analisa data uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji korelasi. Teknik populasi dan sampel menggunakan Teknik simple random sampling dari 300 populasi didapat 37 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga UNJ peserta OBCB tahun 2016. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara sikap disiplin dengan indeks prestasi akumulatif mahasiswa peserta OBCB 2016, terdapat hubungan antara sikap tanggung jawab dengan indeks prestasi akumulatif mahasiswa peserta OBCB 2016 dan terdapat hubungan antara sika disiplin dan sikap tanggung jawab secara bersama dengan indeks prestasi akumulatif mahasiswa peserta OBCB 2016. Kata kunci      : Disiplin, Tanggung jawab, Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif ABSTRACT The Outdoor Based Character Building (OBCB) activity is a student activity that is routinely carried out at the Faculty of Sports, Jakarta State University (FIO UNJ). OBCB activities are expected to have a positive impact on the attitude of discipline and student responsibility so that it is also expected to have an impact on learning achievement, in this case the accumulative achievement index. This study aims to determine the correlation of disciplined and responsible attitudes towards the student achievement index who participated in the 2016 OBCB activities. The method used was a survey method with data analysis techniques of normality test, homogeneity test, correlation test. Population and sample techniques using simple random sampling technique from 300 populations obtained 37 students of the Faculty of Sport UNJ OBCB participants in 2016. The conclusions of the study show that there is a relationship between discipline attitudes and the accumulative achievement index of OBCB 2016 participating students, there is a relationship between attitude of responsibility and achievement index accumulation of 2016 OBCB participant students and there is a relationship between discipline discipline and joint responsibility attitude with the accumulation achievement index of OBCB 2016 participating students Keywords: Discipline, Responsibility, Cumulative Achievement Index

Abstract: The objective of the research was to find out the empirical information of the effect ofintention, motivation, and teacher understanding on the implementation of inclusive education.The research used path analysis techniques. It conducted the elementary-school-teacher in EastJakarta, Indonesia. The simple random sampling technique is applied, which 50 teachers involvedas the research sample. Empirical findings of the research revealed that: 1) There is no directpositive effect of intention to the implementation of inclusive education; 2) There is no directpositive effect of motivation to the implementation of inclusive education; 3) There is no directpositive effect of teacher understanding to the implementation of inclusive education; 4) There isno direct positive effect of intention to the teacher understanding; 5) There is direct positive effectof motivation to the teacher understanding; 6) There is direct positive effect of intention to themotivation. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari informasi empiris tentang pengaruh intensi,motivasi, dan pemahaman guru terhadap implementasi pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian inimenggunakan analisis jalur. Penelitian ini mengukur perilaku guru SD di Jakarta Timur,Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan melibatkan 50guru. Temuan empiris mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Tidak ada pengaruh langsung positif langsungintensi terhadap pendidikan inklusif; 2) Tidak ada pengaruh langsung positif motivasi terhadappendidikan inklusif; 3) Tidak ada pengaruh langsung positif pemahaman guru terhadap pendidikan inklusif; 4) Tidak ada pengaruh positif langsung intensi terhadap pemahaman guru; 5) Adapengaruh langsung motivasi terhadap pemahaman guru; 6) Ada pengaruh langsung intensiterhadap motivasi. This study investigated job satisfaction and qualification as a determinant of teachers’ job mobility in primary schools in Oyo State. The study employed the descriptive research design of the survey type. The population consisted of all teachers from the public primary schools in the state. The sample for this study was 300 teachers which were selected from 20 public primary schools using multi-stage sampling procedure. The first stage involved the use of simple random sampling technique to select 10 Local Government Areas from the thirty- three Local Government Areas of the State. The second stage involved the selection of 20 public primary schools using purposive random sampling technique. Also, 15 teachers were selected from each of the public primary schools using simple random sampling technique at the third stage to make the total of 300 teachers as a sample for the study. A self-structured questionnaire tagged Teachers’ Questionnaire on Job Mobility, Satisfaction and Qualification (TQJMSQ) was used to elicit relevant data for the study. The face and content validity of the instrument was ensured. A reliability co-efficient of 0.69 was obtained for TQJMSQ using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Research questions were answered using simple percentage, mean score and standard deviation while the hypothesis was analysed using t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe posthoc test at 0.05 level of significant. The study shows that job satisfaction and teachers’ qualifications determines job mobility in primary schools in Oyo State. The researchers recommended that government and other school owners should encourage teachers on the job by giving them necessary remuneration and teachers should be encouraged to update themselves to acquire higher qualifications so that they can be fixed to relevant position. This study aims to determine the effect of investment knowledge and investment motivation on investment interests of students Economic Education, Economics Faculty, Padang State University. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The population of this study were 411 students from the Economics Faculty, Padang State University, 2016-1018. The sampling technique is Propositional Random Sampling with a sample of 80 students. The analysis technique used is path analysis "Path Analysis". The results showed that: 1) Investment knowledge has a significant effect on investment motivation of students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang 2) Knowledge of investment has a significant effect on investment interests of students Economics Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang 4) Investment knowledge and investment motivation have a significant effect on the investment interests of students of Economic Education at State University of Padang. Keywords: investment knowledge, investment motivation and investment interest
