The aim of this research was to be able to understand the meaning of the Pura Agung Surya Bhuvana (PASB) for the harmony of religious life in Jayapura in the global era. Lately, people’s lives in Jayapura had been highlighted by frequent turmoil. The research problems were (1) why did non-Hindus in Jayapura often visit the Pura Agung Surya Bhuvana? (2) How did they understand the Agung Surya Bhuvana temple in this global era? This research used a qualitative method. The data source of this research was the life of a multicultural society in the Agung Surya Bhavana temple in the global era. The selected informants included the chairperson of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Jayapura, chairperson of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Papua, stakeholders, pengempon, penyungsung, and temple visitors both Hindus and non-Hindus who often come to visit the temple. All data collected through observation techniques, interviews, FGDs, and documentary studies that were analyzed descriptively interpretatively using religious theory, symbol theory, and structural-functional theory. The results show that (1) Non-Hindus in Jayapura often visit the Agung Surya Bhuvana temple because Hindus at the temple are very kind, friendly welcoming them, often involved in religious activities at the temple, for sightseeing, for meetings between residents. (2) The people in Jayapura in this global era interpret Agung Surya Bhuvana temple as a place of worship, a meeting place for religious followers, a place of art, a place to strengthen multicultural life (multiculturalism), and as a vehicle to strengthen national integration.

This research was compiled from the research results that aimed to understand the meaning of Rejang Pingit dance performance in the global era. This research was conducted because of the imbalance between assumptions and reality in real life. The people who lived in the global era should be more interesting with beautiful performances that were simply performed. However, the fact was different. Although Rejang Pingit dance was very simple, people of Geriana Kangin village preserved it. The question was what was the form of the Rejang Pingit dance performance, what was the meaning contained in the performance? This research used the qualitative method. The data sources of this research were Pingit Rejang dance performance, related informants, journals, and previous research results. All data that had been collected were analyzed using aesthetic theory, religious theory, and the theory of power relations. The results show that Rejang Pingit dance is performed in the form of dance off (with no play). It can be seen from the way of presentation, choreography, performance structure, dressing, makeup, and musical accompaniment of the performance. People of Geriana Kangin village continue to preserve Rejang Pingit dance because it is considered to have the meaning of aesthetic, religious, social, and cultural. Their belief in the myth of the essence of life that undergoes the Rejang Pingit dance is so strong so that they still preserve the dance up to now.

<p><em>Procession mapajejiwan conducted by two people sulinggih by reading the text of sacred dialogue is a real form of application of transcendental communication. Mapajejwan held as the top of the mapaselang ceremony that has the meaning as a process of the creation of the universe performed by God tangible Sang Hyang Semara Ratih. The problems that will be discussed are: 1) How is the transcendental communication process of mapajejiwan in Pura Penataran Agung Pucak Mangu ?, 2) What is the function of transcendental mapajajianwan communication in Pura Penataran Agung Pucak Mangu ?, 3) What is the impact of transcendental mapajajianwan communication in mapaselang ceremony in Pura Penataran Agung Pucak Mangu Temple?. Theories used to analyze problems are (1) S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response), 2) religious theory and 3) structural functional theory. The subject of this research is a transcendental mapajajiwan communication as rangakian from mapaselang ceremony in Pura Penataran Agung Pucak Mangu. This study contains the steps that researchers do in the process of collecting data in order to obtain the correct data. The steps are as follows: (1) interview technique, (2) observation technique, (3) literature study technique.</em></p><p><em>The results showed (1) Transcendental communication process mapajejiwan seen based on series of ceremony mapaselang covering verbal process and nonverbal process. A verbal process that includes all processes that use words and language both orally and in writing. While the nonverbal process includes all the symbols used in the implementation of mapaselang ceremony. (2) The functions of transcendental communication include religious functions, intrapersonal functions and interpersonal functions. Religious function that is to purify and to pay the debt, intrapersonal function is to awaken Pucak Mangu's enforcement krama that everything in this world is a loan that must be returned, while the interpersonal function of transcendental communication is to unify the perception and convince the people that the universe was created by God as well as knowledge of what God has created. (3) The impact of transcendental communication of maps in the mapaselang ceremony includes two effects of positiv and social impacts. Posistivnya impact is to build the concept of sincerity in self, build the spirit of mutual cooperation and foster loving attitude of the universe and its contents in order to obtain the peace.</em></p>

Arca is one of the relics of the classical period that has various forms and is the development of human thought in the field of art and culture. Thought can be seen in Pura Subak Ulun Suwi Sidewaas Bangli which until now still functioned with the statue which amounted to 14 pieces. Some of the problems in this study include the form, function and meaning of archaeological remains in Pura Subak Ulun Suwi Sidewaas Bangli. This study uses data collection methods consisting of several stages of observation, interviews, and literature study. The next stage is the stage of data analysis, this stage using qualitative analysis and iconography analysis. The theory used in this research is the functional theory and the theory of semiotics, which is expected to solve the problems in this research. Archeology in Pura Subak Ulun Suwi Sidewaas Bangli encompasses two statues of bhatari embodiment, four statues of bhatara, one lingga tribhaga, two lingga above lapel and stela and five fragments of the statue. These stalks are believed to be a means to invoke the welfare of the plants that are incomes for the people who depend on the plantations. The holy water obtained from the temple is not only used for self-use, but also used for the fertility of cattle and plants. The residue that is sanctioned by the community of temple penyungsung has meaning as a means of worship, the worship means in question is symbolic of the goddess god or his ancestor in an effort to get closer to his ancestors.

AbstractThe life of the lanting shop merchant along the Nagara River can be seen from the life of the people who use the river to perform the activities of daily life. The development of the era has changed the mindset of people to have a modern life by making business.This study aims: (1). Analyzing Portrait of Life of WarungLanting Traders in Daha Subdistrict of HSS Regency. (2) Analyzing Social Interaction of Warung Lanting in Daha Sub-district, HSS District. This research uses qualitative method. The data source was chosen by purposive sampling. Data collection with observation techniques, interviews, documentation.Testing the validity of data researchers using data triangulation, ie triangulation of sources and time trianggulasi and use extension of observation.The result of this research is life of warung lanting can be seen from physical condition and function of shop of warung lanting include owner's name, building size, origin, business type, age of building, stall status, shape and duration of business in Daha Subdistrict which make lanting stall by forwarding river as place of business. The identity of the lanting stall owner is the owner's name, owner's age, education level, occupation, number of family members, other home ownership and buying and selling process. Economic relations of traders with merchants in keeping customers and buyers in stepping up efforts to give competition to businesses located on the mainland.Keywords: Portrait of life, warung lanting AbstrakKehidupan pedagang warung lanting di sepanjang Sungai Nagara dapat terlihat dari kehidupan masyarakat yang menggunakan sungai untuk melakukan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Perkembangan zaman sudah mengubah pola pemikiran masyarakat agar memiliki kehidupan yang modern dengan cara membuat usaha. Penelitian ini bertujua menganalisis  Kehidupan Pedagang Warung Lanting  di Kecamatan Daha Kabupaten HSS. (2) Menganalisis Interaksi Sosial Warung Lanting di Kecamatan Daha Kabupaten HSS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan trianggulasi data, yaitu trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi waktu serta menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian yaitu kehidupan warung lanting dapat dilihat darikeadaan fisik dan fungsi bagunan warung lanting meliputi nama pemilik, ukuran bangunan, asal mula, jenis usaha, umur bagunan, status warung, bentuk dan lama usaha di Kecamatan Daha yang membuat warung lanting dengan mendepankan sungai sebagai tempat usaha.Identitas penghuni warung lanting yaitu nama pemilik, usia pemilik, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, jumlah anggota keluarga, kepemilikan rumah yang lain dan proses jual beli.Hubungan ekonomi pedagang dengan pedagang dalam menjaga pelanggan dan pembeli dalam meningkatkan usaha untuk memberikan persaingan terhadap usaha yang berada di daratan.Kata Kunci:  Potret kehidupan, warung lanting

<p>One of the ways taken by Hindu people to keep the harmony and prosperity in the world is by performing  <em>yajña</em>. It is being exercised by <em>krama</em> Custom  Banjar of  Gegadon Kapal by conducting a <em>ritual</em> of  <em>pujawali  </em><em> </em>at the Great Temple of Custom <em>Banjar</em> Gegadon. The temple is a small temple but enthroned by Ida Ratu Gede Sakti. The <em>Pujawali  </em><em> </em>is performed exactly on the day of <em>budha</em> <em>kliwon</em><em> </em><em>wuku Pahang</em>.  This research discusses: (1) The form of procession of <em>Pujawali   Mupuk Kembang </em> at the Great Temple of Custom <em>Banjar</em> Gegadon, Village of Kapal, District of Mengwi, Regency of  Badung. (2) The function of procession practice of <em>Pujawali   Mupuk Kembang </em> at the Temple (3) The Hindu religious education valuecontained in the procession.The theories being used in this research includ: 1) Structural functional theory, 2)Religious Theory, 3) Value Theory. The  type  of the research  is descriptive qualitative. The primary sources for the data are  congregation figures,  religious figures andpublic figures, and its secondary sources are in the form of research results of books, articles, which are related with  <em>pujawali  </em><em> </em>practice. The research instrument is interview guideline by using purposive technique, observation and documentation, the analysis technique, descriptive. The result of the research can be concluded as follows: (1) The procession of  <em>Pujawali   Mupuk Kembang </em>  is a series of  <em>pujawali  </em><em> </em><em>ritual</em> from the beginning until the endwhich is closed with <em>nyineb</em> ceremony, (2) The function of  <em>pujawali  </em><em> </em>consists of education, social, and religious function, (3) The values contained within <em>pujawali  </em><em> </em>procession is Hindu Religious education values namely <em>tattva</em>, ethic and ceremony.</p>

This research was aimed to analyze the pragmatic on Social Media. The analysis was focused on the application of cooperative principles. This research was conducted by using qualitative method. The data of this study were the Netizen comments on the influencer account. The account of the influencer was Anyageraldine. The data source is taken from instagram where nowdays many people use instagram for doing communication and interaction. The writers observed and choosed the data. There were some techniques of data analysis performed, namely: determining, observing, choosing, analyzing, and drawing conclusion. Based on the data analysis conducted, it was found that the cooperative principle at 2012 – 2016 are Maxim of Quantity is 4, Maxim of Quality is 2, Maxim of Relevance is 2, and Maxim of Manner is 7. And the writers also found the Cooperative Principles at 2017 – 2020 are Maxim of Quantity is 1, Maxim of Quality is 5, Maxim of Relevance is 7 and Maxim of Manner is 2. This is influenced by the influencer’s (Anya Geraldine) behaviour as we know that our behaviour make the people statements or comments, it means our behaviour also decided what the Cooperative Principles that the people will use.

Rejang Sutri dance is different from other Rejang dances. The Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency has uniqueness that does not exist in other villages, this dance is specially performed at the beginning of the Sasih Kelima to the end of Sasih Kesanga at Pengrupukan and danced by women who live in environment of Batuan Village, Sukawati Gianyar. The dancers have no age limit, have links to Hinduism and are the cultural identity of Batuan Village. In addition, the Rejang Sutri dance is a form of community appreciation of one of the manifestations of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa / God. Traditionally, the Rejang Sutri dance has survived to this day. This research is entitled: Resilience of Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency (Sat, Cit, Ananda Perspective). The problems studied namely Why is the Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency still surviving, Who contributed to maintaining Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, How do you maintain Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The above problems will be examined using several theories. The theories used are religious theory, structural functional theory, and constructive education theory. In addition, in obtaining and analyzing data, several methods are used, namely the method of observation, interviews and document study. This type of research is qualitative and described by descriptive methods, in order to obtain a comprehensive conclusion. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the results of the research, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The persistence of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is inseparable from the beliefs of the people of Batuan Village and making the Rejang Sutri dance 34 Vol. 11 No. 1 Maret 2021 as Sradha Bhakti for the people of Batuan Village where the relationship of belief in God is true truth or Sat or Satyam which is manifested in the form of sacred offerings, namely the Rejang Sutri dance, the people of Batuan Village believe that by making art an offering and its yadnya to get closer to God (Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa). In accordance with the basis of Hindu religious beliefs known as Srada which consists of five parts, namely Panca Srada. One of these srada which is closely related is the first srada, namely believing in the existence of Brahman. The people of Batuan Village believe that the performance of the Rejang Sutri dance is a means of offering that can reject reinforcements or ward off disease outbreaks. So that the Rejang Sutri dance still survives because it embraces Sat or Satyam which means true truth. (2) Contributing to the survival of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is Prajuru Desa Adat Batuan as a supporter of the Rejang Sutri dance, which in an effort to preserve the Rejang Sutri dance has been contained in the Awig-awig of Batuan Traditional Village and has become an agreement with all Krama Batuan Traditional Village and its members. the community as supporters of the Rejang Sutri dance in its sustainability. Because the Rejang Sutri dance is a cultural heritage of sacred arts in Batuan Village. So with the performance of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village, the people of Batuan Village have supported the sustainability of the Rejang Sutri dance as a sacred and sacred offering that places Siwam or Cit which means purity, honesty, honesty as very important things and cannot be separated from Satyam or Sat who meaning true truth as well as related to Sundaram or Ananda which means beauty, happiness which the people of Batuan Village manifest in the Rejang Sutri dance performance. (3) The way to maintain the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is by means of inheritance from generation to generation because the Rejang Sutri dance contains aspects of repelling reinforcements, aspects of ritual / ceremony, and aspects of beauty related to movement, composition, costumes, arenas and aspects of happiness in survival. Rejang Sutri dance where the people of Batuan Village still maintain the Rejang Sutri dance because it is closely related to aspects of Satyam or Sat (truth), Siwam or Cit (holiness) and Sundaram or Ananda (beauty / happiness). Because in sacred offerings towards the truth a happiness is achieved from the people of Batuan Village, so that they live in safety, prosperity and peace.

This research is to  analyze  the bravery of a woman in facing gender inequality in Danielle Steel's Novel The Right Time. Alexandra Winslow is a young woman who has a dream to be a crime thriller story writer. During the journey of realizing her dream as a writer, she should be brave to face discrimination from male crime thriller writers and gender inequality from society. This research is completed by the use of descriptive qualitative method. The data are obtained by quoting related quotations from the story of the novel. Then, the data analysis is conducted by classifying the data related to the research problems of this study. The results show that there are three types of bravery done by the main character: bravery to fight against marginalization, abolish stereotype and thwart violence. Winslow's ability to write is not in doubt. Those who know Winslow closely and have read her writings find Winslow's writing to be extraordinary. Thanking to the support of the people around him, Winslow dares to continue her dream of becoming a famous writer even though she has to hide behind the identity of a man.

<p><span lang="EN-US">One of the various illegal jobs in Indonesia is being a prostitute. It is commonly addressed to a woman, who engages in sexual intercourse for money as the source of livelihood. One of the local prostitution in this country is Argorejo Prostitution at Srikuncorostreet, Argorejo village Kalibanteng, West Semarang, Central Java. What remains unique is that the main activity of prostitutes is not only to serve and to satisfy costumers but also to do some religious activities, such as praying, reciting al-Quran, Fasting and others. The questions of this research are: What is the patterns of religiosity of Muslim prostitutes in Argorejo prostitution and Are there Impact of religiosity understanding pattern to their attitudes and deeds of prostitutes. This research produces the data in the form of notes or verbal words from the people or behaviors that can be observed, with the aim to describe the target's condition of the research according to the real source. Using the Phenomenology approach with a source of research data in use is the primary data source in the form of information from the field by direct observation at Argorejo Prostitution about activities implemented, then secondary data sources such as books, documentation data Argorejo Prostitution and activity report data Argorejo Prostitution. For data collection techniques that are used, among others: observation method, interview, and documentation. Data analysis using is descriptive analysis to clarify suitable with the problems are studied and that data is compiled and analyzed. The result of this research is descriptive about responses of prostitutes toward Islam religion, including the worship that they do and the perspective of religiosity understanding. Prospect in the next is all prostitutes be able to more aware with their religion although their job who have implemented in the past was a mistake that could be forgiven</span></p>

This study is discussing about the types of English imperative used in notices, the way of constructing English imperative and Indonesian imperative, and the reason of translation procedure are being applied. A Qualitative method is applied to answer the research problems. Data of the research were taken from some notices as the SL that found around Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School along with their translation into Indonesian text (TL) used as the data source. The result shows that there are three types of imperative sentence of English imperative sentence in notices found in SMAN CMBBS translated from English into Indonesian: negative command, request, and positive command. Seeing from the process of imperative constructions of the SL, it can obviously be stated that it is formed by syntactical process, whereas in TL it is formed by morphological process that is by attaching the marker. The result also shows that there are four types of translation procedure used in this study. All of them are oriented towards the target language. Those procedures are: borrowing, modulation, transposition, and literal translation.
