One of the developments experienced by early childhood is the ability to speak and speak the language. This can be stimulated by using learning media that can generate children's interest in learning. Modern wayang is a learning medium that can improve children's speaking and language skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of early childhood speech skills using modern wayang media. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were children in the Ngaliyan District of Semarang. The results of this study are that children's language skills, creativity and innovation increase after being given learning through modern puppet media. Improved children's abilities include listening, responding to comments, speaking more clearly, sorting ideas, discussing and expanding vocabulary.

The undeveloped social and emotion of early childhood, especially group B students of Kindergarten As-Salam Pekan Arba Tembilahan takes a serious teachers intention since it is one of many success factors in the future. There needs an extra-efforts to develop from teachers. This research is to discover the teachers’ efforts and factors that follow the development of social-emotional of group B students of TK As-Salam Pekan Arba Tembilahan. This is qualitative descriptive research. The data were collected over interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analyzing technique was triangulation data. The findings showed that the teacher already did many efforts to develop the students’ social and emotions, such as (1) putting attention to them, (2) introducing positive and negative, and its impact on storytelling, (3) giving a comfort zone, (4) practicing positive attitude in the school, (5) reinforcing students by giving salutations and rewards, (6) giving facilities to choose and actualize their hobby, and (7) doing communication between teacher and students.

Indonesia as an archipelagic country, geographically has a long coastline (lk 81,000 km) and a vast ocean (5.8 million km2) with a wealth of marine biological resources would require human resources to maintain and preserve it. Coastal children are the generation that will develop the marine biological resources. They need knowledge and insight into maritime that is channeled through education. The archipelago of Nusantara is present as a moving community to develop and raise children's competitiveness through education. Offers 3 peogram excellence namely, Inspirative Talk Show, Character Building Training (CBT), 3 B (Play, Read, Learn). Through qualitative descriptive research, the researchers see how Cakralawala Nusantara plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of coastal children of Pulau Untung Jawa, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Based on research, more than 50% of early childhood, primary and junior high school children are motivated to achieve goals and develop their marine environment better, this is a form of generating their competitiveness.

Student experiences information process causing particular behaviors while studying. Neuroscience is a study to understand behavior and mental process based on brain activity. In Indonesian, collaborative study between education and medicine on preschool-aged children’s neuroscience is still scarce. In fact that using this collaboration, some elements related to student’s behavior and information process can be seen. This paper spells out potential collaborative studies on neuroscience of preschool-aged children. This study is categorized into qualitative descriptive research. The data were collected through an in-depth interview with the head of education and research section of UNS Hospital and document study. The result of the study found a number of potential collaborative studies between UNS Hospital and ECE department of UNS, namely: 1) Assessing level of stress using Bio-neurofeedback; 2) Assessing Learning comfort using Electroencephalograph; 3) Assessing Interest and Aptitude using Electroencephalograph; and 4) Therapy on Gadget Addiction using Bio-neurofeedback. Those findings can be used as a basic for further research about neuroscience in early childhood.

This research aims to know and describe a good textbook in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammatical rules to non-native speakers. As for the type of this research, it is qualitative descriptive research using the office method by analytical study on a textbook "The Grammar Book in the Arabic Language Teaching Series" with finding On resources to collect information. The results of this research indicated that the textbook in the grammar book in the series of teaching the Arabic language is a good textbook for teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar rules to non-native speakers, and the quality of this book is as follows: (For the first) this book uses the direct method in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar rules to non-native speakers, (second) this book uses the audio-verbal method with a multiplication of mechanical exercises through listening and speaking, in order to form the habit of students while learning the grammar rules Through Alsaqq, (the third): This book uses the inductive method, which is the method that made the dialogic text the focus of language activities in speech or reading related to grammatical rules, with the use of the three language exercises based on the axial or reciting text, which are the (mechanical), semantic and communicative exercises, taking into account Theoretical grammar and (Fourth) Use the communicative method in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar.

Semurup Hamlet is a tourist village located in the Rawa Pening area of Semarang Regency. As a tourist village with a large number of visitors, it has an influence on the character development of early childhood. This study aims (1) to know and describe the character of independence, responsibility, religion, and courtesy of early childhood, (2) to find out and describe the efforts of parents and the community in educating the character of early childhood, and (3) to know and describe the obstacles faced by parents and the community in educating the character of early childhood in the Semurup Hamlet, Semarang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The obtained data is examined for the validity of the data by triangulation of data sources and methods. The results showed that (1) early childhood in Semurup Hamlet have the character of positive and negative independence, positive responsibility, positive religious, and positive and negative manners, (2) efforts made by parents in educating the character of children early by habituating, giving examples, and giving rewards, while community efforts are to provide advice and support for every educational activity, (3) obstacles that are experienced by parents in educating the character of the age child are internal factors including busyness of parents and the age of child, external factors include the influence of the environment around the residence and the development of information and communication technology, while the obstacle faced by the community is communication with parents.

The success of managing early childhood education institutions is determined by management aspects such as curriculum, infrastructure, marketing, students, supervision and educators. One of the most important management is management that regulates education personnel because this management determines how educators provide facilities to develop children's abilities so that they can achieve the expected educational goals. This study aims to improve PAUD (Early Childhood Education) Management by identifying institutional problems. This study used a qualitative descriptive research model. The research sample was teachers in Kindergarten AULIA Surakarta. The results showed that the observation, attention, communication, personality of the teacher and the child was good and the teacher always conducted consultations on children's problems. It showed that the average AULIA Surakarta kindergarten teacher had done their job well.

<p><em>Learning activities with the stortelling methood is a learning process that teachers try to develop children’s language skills. Storytelling can foste courage in children by continuing to provide stimulation from direct experience that involves children in learning activities, so it is necessary to prepare storytelling themes so that learning is more creative. The benefits of storytelling are that it helps children’s ability tio listen, children’s imagination power is trained, adds a sense of joy, children will be active and dare to appear in learning. Storytelling is one of the ways children communicate with their peers. The problem in this study is that the child has not paid attention to the words of others, has not been able to understand the contents of the reading that is told, the child has not retold the story that has been heard. This study aims to describe the implementation of language skills through the storytelling method for early childhood friends. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews, documentation. The results of data analysis show the implemetation. The results of data analysis show the implementations of the storytelling method in improving children’s language, namely by making lesson plans that can make teaching, directing and educating and stimulating, motivating, by setting a good example to children so that they have languange skill and can increase children’s self-confidence</em></p>

Language skills affect each other. Before the child is able to speak, read, and write the child first listens. Listening is the earliest ability a child learns among the three other abilities. This is explained also by Tarigan (2008: 2) "in childhood we learn to listen to language then speak, after that we read and write". PPT activities that are able to develop the ability to listen to children through storytelling activities. By telling a child's hearing can be functioned well to help the ability to speak, by increasing vocabulary vocabulary, the ability to say words, train stringing sentences in accordance with the stage of development. The research design used is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were children aged 3-4 years in PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya. From the results of research the ability to listen is the ability that can be possessed by children through guidance, in group A PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya children the ability to listen to children based on research results is still in the developing stages. To reach the stage it has developed and is developing very well the teacher must guide and train the child. The data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model consists of 3 steps namely, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The conclusion of this study is that the child is in the stage of developing according to the expected indicators. Situation factors are the factors that most influence the ability to listen to children in storytelling activities. The method used by teachers in PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya is the method of recounting, working on it, answering questions and paraphrase

Background: This study aims to describe: (1) English Club background at SDIT (Islamic Elementary School) Az-Zahra Sragen (2) English Club planning, (3) English Club implementation, (4) English Club implementation constraints, (5) Solutions to overcome English Club implementation constraints, (6) Evaluation of English Club at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen. Method: Types of research this is qualitative descriptive research with a case study design. The informants of this research are the principal, English Club supervisor, English teacher class 3,4,5, English Club students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources. The data were analyzed through data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. Results: This shows various information about the English Club at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen in developing English language skills. The data obtained include The background of the English Club, namely so that students can speak English fluently and communicate correctly using English. In addition, it is also motivated for competition. English Club planning includes socialization, ideas and financing, planning before implementation, and student preparation. Implementation of the English Club includes materials, media, techniques, and activities. Meanwhile, English skills that are more prominent are speaking skills. There are still obstacles to be faced. The obstacles and solutions include: when making materials, designing activities, media, implementation, in developing English skills.

The importance of English has an impact on the needs of future generations to learn English from an early age especially in Early Childhood Education and vocabulary is an important component that can support the mastery of all four language skills. Facing the difficulty of learning vocabulary, a method that is appropriate for the age of child development is needed. One of methods that could be used is story telling. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The sample in this study was six early childhood education teachers in Sukabumi. Data collecting techniques were presentations and questionnaires. The presentations were held twice, in front of peers of early childhood education teachers and in front of students of early childhood education. After presentation, the questionnaires were conducted related to the implementation of the story telling method to the teacher. Based on the data collected, Teaching English with  Story Telling Method give a good response with indicators shows that  the content of the story, the properties used, the variety of vocabulary taught, moral values based on the stories and the ability of delivering the English vocabulary were good and suitable with the age of early childhood education.
