<p>This article will analyze the content and learning process of the <em>tahfidh hadith</em> in Integrated Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIT) Nurul Islam Ngaliyan Semarang related to the cultivation of tolerance values. This study uses content analysis and in-depth interviews. The results of this study are <em>that first</em>, most of the contents of the tahfid hadith package contain ghairu mahdlah (social) worship which reaches 83%, in which there is a tolerance value, while the hadith about worship is 17%. <em>Second, the</em> <em>tahfidh </em>learning process uses a variety of methods, namely writing, reading, memorizing, translating and monitoring the application of the values contained in the hadith in everyday life.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Artikel ini akan menganalisa isi dan proses pembelajaran hadis tahfidh di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu (MIT)  Nurul Islam Ngaliyan Semarang terkait dengan penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa <em>pertama,</em> sebagian besar isi paket <em>hadis</em> <em>tahfidh</em> memuat ibadah <em>ghair</em><em>u</em><em> mahdlah</em> (sosial) yang mencapai 83%, yang di dalamnya terdapat nilai toleransi, sedangkan hadits tentang ibadah <em>mahdhah</em> 17%. <em>Kedua,</em> Proses pembelajaran tahfidh menggunakan berbagai variasi metode yaitu menulis, membaca, menghafal, menerjemah dan pemantauan penerapan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam hadits dalam kehidupan sehari-hari .</p><p> </p>

Previous literature has focused on investigating the use of sources in the classroom and how much they contribute to building a coherent mental representation of the texts. These studies explain how integration from multiple document sources occurs; however, their results are limited to the first language and do not inform about the types of these sources or how they are used. In this sense, the objective of this case study is to identify the types of sources used in four courses of a student exchange program in a Chilean University. The data was collected through focus groups with sixty students and in-depth interviews with four professors to determine in what sense the type of document selected could contribute to the learning process. A content analysis was carried out using Nvivo 12 to report on the pedagogical implications of using these sources in a Spanish L2 teaching setting.

O objetivo é averiguar a correlação dos fatores motivacionais e produtivos no contexto institucional da Polícia Civil. O estudo de caso foi conduzido por entrevistas em profundidade com um Delegado de Polícia, um Investigador de Polícia, e um Escrivão de Polícia. A análise de conteúdo foi utilizada. Conclui-se que há evidente correlação entre o desenvolvimento de artefatos motivacionais, sejam eles de ordem ambiental ou individual, com a produtividade na instituição da Polícia Civil. Destaca-se também, que apesar do controle e avaliação dos índices de produtividade serem predominantemente burocráticos, institucionalizados e legitimados, a ligação que se estabelece com a manifestação dos artefatos motivacionais é subjetiva, relacional e intangível nas normas institucionais. Destaca-se este evento neste artigo, porque como foi visto anteriormente, tanto a natureza do trabalho, quanto o ambiente da Polícia Civil, estão em total desencontro ao desenvolvimento de produtividade e motivação no sentido clássico destas vertentes. The aims is to determine the correlation of the motivational and productive factors in the institutional context of the Civil Police. The case study was conducted by in-depth interviews with a Chief of Police, Police Investigator, and Actuary Police. The content analysis was used for fixed grid. It is concluded that there is clear correlation between the development of motivational artifacts, whether environmental or individual order, with productivity in the civil police institution. Also noteworthy is that despite the control and evaluation of productivity indexes were predominantly bureaucratic, institutionalized and legitimized, the connection that is established with the manifestation of motivational artifacts is subjective, relational and intangible assets in the institutional rules. It highlights this event in this article, because as discussed above, both the nature of the work, as the environment of the Civil Police, are in complete disagreement with the development of productivity and motivation in the classical sense of the aforementioned areas.

This paper is a contribution to the debate about how people in Central Asia recall Soviet ethnic policies and their vision of how these policies have shaped the identities of their peers and contemporaries. In order to do so, this paper utilizes the outcomes of in-depth interviews about everyday Soviet life in Uzbekistan conducted with 75 senior citizens between 2006 and 2009. These narratives demonstrate that people do not explain Soviet ethnic policies simply through the “modernization” or “victimization” dichotomy but place their experiences in between these discourses. Their recollections also highlight the pragmatic flexibility of the public's adaptive strategies to Soviet ethnic policies. This paper also argues that Soviet ethnic policy produced complicated hybrid units of identities and multiple social strata. Among those who succeeded in adapting to the Soviet realities, a new group emerged, known asRussi assimilados(Russian-speaking Sovietophiles). However, in everyday life, relations between theassimiladosand their “indigenous” or “nativist” countrymen are reported to have been complicated, with clear divisions between these two groups and separate social spaces of their own for each of these strata.


This article advocates a new agenda for (media) tourism research that links questions of tourist experiences to the role and meaning of imagination in everyday life. Based on a small-scale, qualitative study among a group of seventeen respondents of diverse ages and backgrounds currently residing in the Netherlands, we offer an empirical exploration of the places that are of importance for people’s individual state of mind and investigate how these places relate to (potential) tourist experiences. The combination of in-depth interviews and random-cue self-reporting resulted in the following findings: 1) all our respondents regularly reside in an elaborate imaginary world, consisting of both fictional and non-fictional places; 2) this imaginary world is dominated by places which make the respondents feel nostalgic; 3) in this regard, the private home and houses from childhood are pivotal; 4) the ‘home’ is seen as topos of the self and contrasted with ‘away’; 5) the imagination of ‘away’ emerges from memories of previous tourist experiences, personal fantasies and, last but not least, influences from popular culture. We conclude that imagining and visiting other locations are part of a life-long project of ‘identity work’ in which personal identities are performed, confirmed and extended. By travelling, either physically or mentally, individuals anchor their identity - the entirety of ideas about who they are, where they come from and where they think they belong - in a broader, spatial framework.

<p>No matter what century we live in, even though the tools we use change from age to age, man is not a creature who can be considered or understood without the concept of values. Although we have different religions, languages, races and cultures, the personality of man is always constructed through values. Values are factors that directly influences human life and society in a positive or negative way. This study suggests that values education aimed at teaching individuals certain values is not sufficiently practiced by families in Turkey. In order to address the problem, this study aimed to increase the awareness of family members regarding values and help them turn values into behavior in everyday life. To this end, a 24-month “values education program” involving a set of activities was carried out. Every month, a specific value was chosen taking into account the needs of family members and “value booklets” were prepared using four sub-dimensions of the chosen value. 10 families participated in the program and the data was collected from 25 individuals. The resulting data was subjected to content analysis. 3 main themes were found to be important in the light of the data: moral development, development of communication skills, and religiousness. These themes were thought to be beneficial in terms of understanding the effectiveness and importance of family members’ internalizing values and turning them into behavior in everyday life.<strong></strong></p>

This research paper inspected the role of Pakistani media to protect indigenous languages and culture in Pakistan. The study examined the situation; if Pakistani media outpours concern with the native languages or not. The article also checked the media landscape, its language-wise segregation and scenario of literacy in different areas of the country. The outcomes of the study showed that Pakistani media is neglecting the indigenous languages. The study results exhibited clearly that media houses’ focus on protecting native languages, is not profound. The findings also showed that foreign ownership of Media houses plays a role in neglecting indigenous language promotions. The current study presented that Pakistani mainstream media is damaging the local and native languages. The study was the outcome of qualitative content analysis and in-depth interviews of senior communication experts.

Este trabajo pretende desvelar cuál es la percepción del profesorado acerca de la práctica educativa musical, así como describir la metodología que se utiliza en el aula, con el objetivo de identificar los factores que influencian la puesta en práctica de tendencias metodológicas actuales. La información se ha obtenido a través de entrevistas en profundidad tanto al profesorado de Música como a tutores. Se ha realizado un análisis de contenido con la ayuda de un sistema categorial. Los resultados muestran que la asignatura de Música está infravalorada con respecto a las demás y que el profesorado tiene dificultades para implementar las metodológicas actuales. Como conclusión se subraya que existe la necesidad de una implicación de la administración para ofrecer cursos formativos relacionados con este tipo de tendencias, tanto musicales como generales.ABSTRACTThis paper intends to reveal the teachers' perception about the current practice in musical education, and to describe the teaching methodologies used in classroom, with the aim of identifying the factors that influence the implementation of current methodological trends. Information was obtained through in-depth interviews with music teachers and tutors. Data have been classified according to a categories’ system, and a content analysis of these data was performed. The results show that the subject of Music is undervalued compared to other subjects. Also, teachers find difficult to implement current methodological trends. The main conclusion is that there is a need for educational administration’s involvement providing training courses on current trends in teaching methodologies.

Abstract This paper introduces a bibliometric review of the scientific literature on social media and journalism published by journals indexed by Journal Citation Reports until 2017 (n=213). Besides descriptive measurements, it provides a co-citation and co-word analysis. A quantitative content analysis complements the bibliometric approach. Thus, the paper offers a conceptual and structural analysis of the field of study. Results show that the number of articles on the topic is growing steadily since 2014. United States, Australia and England stand as the most productive countries. Studies are based mostly on data from Europe and North America. Three conceptual clusters are identified: audience participation, user generated content and the influence of social media on journalistic professional values and practices. Most of the studies did not consider specific services but focused on the general concept of “social media”. Twitter was the most analyzed platform until recent years, when scholarly attention changed towards Facebook. Research has preferred focusing on political information in detriment of other branches of journalism. The most employed methods are content analysis and in-depth interviews. Further use of surveys and social network analysis, as well as stronger focus on visual studies, is suggested.

Textbook is one of learning components that plays an important role in determining the success of learning. Textbook as a media and one of main resources in the learning process has a strategic role to be developed to improve the quality of learning and cultivate religiosity of the students. The cultivation of religious characters will be effective, efficient, and interesting if the available textbooks are combined with the Islamic education and characters contents. Those contents will create religious atmosphere and familiarize the students in practising their religiosity in everyday life. In this way, the competency of Islamic education and characters are combined with the competency of other subjects that are packaged in a learning experience. Thus the Islamic values will be formed in students characters.

[TAFSEER LEARNING METHODS IN 'ULUM AL-QUR'AN BASED SCHOOL]. This paper is aimed to respond to the lack of formulation of tafsir learning methods at schools. This study shows that the learning method with the basis of Ulum al-Qur’an consists of three aspects, i.e. the foundation, learning material, and method. The foundation of tafsir learning comprises three elements; it must be based on the function of the Qur'an, gradual, and not burdensome. Then, the learning materials of tafsir can use the stories contained in the Qur'an, asbab al-nuzul (reason of revelation), and the main themes of the Qur'an. Meanwhile, the tafsir learning process uses the ijmali method. This is a library based study with data sources from books, especially ‘Ulum al-Qur'an Mabahits fi 'Ulum al-Qur'an by Manna' al-Qathan, 'Ulum al-Qur'an by Nuruddin' Itr, Kaidah Tafsir by M. Quraish Shihab, and Membumikan Ulumul Qur’an by Ahsin Sakho Muhammad as well as research results in the form of journals and others in the field of education. In the process, this study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a content analysis approach and contextual interpretation.
