In the article the authors consider modern approaches to the formation of the content of training of engineering specialists on the example of modelling the syllabi of academic disciplines. A comparative analysis of current trends in the content of professional training of engineering personnel in institutions of higher technical education in Ukraine, Western Europe and China. It is noted that one of the main shortcomings of domestic higher education is still its inconsistency with the requirements of the labour market and the lag of technical training from scientific and technological progress. The latter encourages the revision of another strategic involvement of training – the formation of professional competencies of future professionals, and hence the formation of a new content of training for future engineers. An example of such attempts is the introduction of syllabuses in the educational process of higher education. The creation of information and educational networks has globalized this problem and led to the need to realize it at a new innovative level. The article focuses on the definitive analysis of the researched problem and on the basic principles of syllabus construction, which are based on the competence approach. It is noted that the main task of this analysis is to study the substantive nuances between the syllabi of academic disciplines and their work programs, why and for whom this document is prepared and whether it is right at all. Emphasis is placed on the basic principles of construction of syllabi of academic disciplines, according to which they can be distinguished from work programs. As a fundamental principle, access to learning outcomes is highlighted, which should be expressed through the levels of competencies of graduates. Thus, through educational activities, the opportunity to design the future professional activity of the student is realized, and as a result to consider the competence acquired in the learning process. The structural components of syllabuses of academic disciplines are considered. The structure of the syllabus of the discipline in terms of components and a specific example of its modelling have been provided.

On the one hand, training of highly qualified personnel should meet the modern  requirements, and on the other hand, lecture remains the main form of  holding a tutoring at university. An analysis of attributes of higher education  modern pedagogical system, such as a purpose of system functioning,  subjects (students, teachers, etc.), content of training, made it possible to  conclude about qualitative changes in their nature, characteristics,  requirements related to the new realities of modern society. The old  stereotypes and attitudes which have been being formed for centuries and  have already lost their value, but continue to dictate forms, means and  methods of educational process organization are a hindrance to the  development of higher education. The need of society and state for qualified personnel has led to introduction of competence-based approach in  training of specialists who have an activity orientation, an ability to fulfill  functional duties, to solve professional problems. Development of  professional competences is possible only in the conditions of the  implementation of practice-based educational/professional activity, specially  organized students’ self-reliant work, immediate application of knowledge  acquired for the solution of various tasks.

Introduction. In the context of the instability of the labor market affected by the pandemic, the interest of the state and society to the problem of deregulation of labor relations is increasing. One of the most vulnerable social groups is young professionals who have just graduated from university and do not have significant experience of interacting with employers. The purpose of the article is to study the processes of precarization of youth employment by assessing and identifying the orientation of professional and educational trajectories of university graduates belonging to the precariat in the context of their failure or success. Materials and methods. The monitoring of university graduates employed in the Ural region and beyond in 2018-2021 is used. The empirical material includes survey data (5213 full-time bachelors and masters) and administrative data. Methods of classification and factor analysis (allocation of the principal components) are applied. Results. The classification of the precariat (34.3% in the graduation structure) is proposed, including freelancers (0.9%), IT specialists (6.9%) employed on a part-time basis (6.5%), foreign students (1.5%) continuing their studies from among the unemployed (7.0%), unemployed graduates (8.6%), graduates employed in outsourcing and a mixed type of the listed groups (2.9%). Three groups of factors determining the specifics of the formation of the precariat among young professionals were identified: external factors – (1) the rate in the behavior strategy for rapid integration in the labor market (the significance of the high salary factor = 0.683); (2) the development of a career trajectory (the significance of the factor of having subordinates = 0.784, significance of having a managerial position = 0.722); internal factors – (3) orientation to self-realization in professional activity, deepening of competencies (the significance of the factor of continuing training = 0.648). Secondary employment at the university helps graduates immediately after graduation to reduce the risk of unemployment, to achieve faster integration in the labor market (among employed precariates – 85% combined work and study at the university, among the unemployed the share was 63%), but it is not a differentiating factor in determining the principal components. The focus of higher education (in particular, IT specialties, mathematics and engineering) largely determines the financial success in the group of unstable employees. Conclusions. In the modern conditions of the labor market, the precariat cannot strictly be called an unsuccessful social group. The advantage of the unstable employed graduates is that they are able to adapt to the uncertainty of the labor market by choosing flexible forms of employment, sometimes even without losing in wages, career trajectory, enhancement of their competencies, constantly updating knowledge, skills, self-realization in professional activity.

The scientific publication examines the theory and practice of assessing the performance of teachers, features of technical education, innovative technologies for assessing the effectiveness of teachers performance and the department of a technical university, including methods for assessing the quality of current student training, the quality of education of university graduates and the qualifications of teachers, and the conditions for implementing the proposed technologies. The article analyzes modern methods of interactive teaching of humanities in higher education institutions. A characteristic feature of interactive learning is the constant, active interaction of all participants in the educational process (teacher - student, teacher - students, students - students). It focuses on the fact that student-centered learning requires teachers to use the latest methods, providing the maximum connection of theoretical information with its practical application, the development of professional skills by directly solving cases and problematic situations. Characteristic of modern higher education is the development of critical thinking of students using such methods as "Fish bone", Bloom's daisy, Bloom's cube, Brainstorming, six hats of de Bono thinking and more. Interactive learning is based on a personal-activity approach that focuses on the use of both situational and nonsituational learning methods. Extremely important for professional activity and team work is the ability to express their own ideas and prove their viability. For this purpose, teachers of higher education institutions use such methods as debate, aquarium, PRES method, discussions, "Choose/change position", etc. The creative component of education is an integral part of professional development. With this in mind, the article analyzes such forms of student work as writing essays, syncveins, diamonds, portfolios, etc. Interactive learning methods motivate participants in the learning process to learn, stimulate their independent thinking and decision-making, develop imagination and cognitive interest. These methods can create an educational environment in which theory and practice are acquired simultaneously, contributing to critical and logical thinking, the formation of personality.

In the context of dynamically updated professionally oriented information, the "erasure" of interdisciplinary boundaries, the demand for metasubject competencies the modern higher education system faces the need not only to choose innovative forms, methods and means of organizing the educational process, but to update the content of education taking into account the requirements for a modern graduate whose personal subject position in the process of his professional activity should be clearly "formalized" upon receiving his diploma. The theoretical study confirmed the demand for updating the content both on the behalf of the pedagogical community, and the employers who note the lack of readiness of most university graduates to make independent decisions in real professional situations and be responsible for them. This fact actualizes the need to study the problem of updating educational content through strengthening interdisciplinary links in the process of integrated language-professional training from the position of a subject-centered approach.
