Motivasi adalah hal yang menyebabkan, menyalurkan, dan mendukung perilaku manusia, supaya mau bekerja giat dan antusias mencapai hasil yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja  secara bersama-sama dan parsial terhadap kinerja guru SD di Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, penarikan sampel menggunakan Proportional Cluster Random Sampling dan Analisis data  dengan Analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi  secara parsial terhadap kinerja guru, disiplin kerja secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, dan  terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SD di Kabupaten Cilacap. Upaya meningkatkan motivasi dan displin kerja perlu dilakukan secara bersama-sama dalam meningkatkan kinerja guruKata kunci:  motivasi, disisplin kerja, kinerja guru EFFECT OF MOTIVATION AND DISCIPLINE WORK ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN CILACAP DISTRICTAbstractMotivation is the thing that causes, distributes, and supports human behavior, in order to work hard and enthusiastically achieve optimal results. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline together and partially to the performance of elementary school teachers in Cilacap regency. This research includes ex post facto research with quantitative approach, sampling using Proportional Cluster Random Sampling and Data Analysis with multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that there is a positive influence of partial motivation on teacher performance, work discipline partially does not affect the performance of teachers, and there is a significant influence simultaneously motivation and work discipline on the performance of elementary school teachers in Cilacap regency. Efforts to improve motivation and work discipline need to be done jointly in improving teacher performance.Keywords: motivation, discipline work, teacher performance

This research is motivated by poor teacher performance. For this reason the aim of this research is to improve teacher performance by carrying out academic supervision. This study uses a school action research design that has stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was conducted at the target schools in Dumai city from March 4 to April 27. The subjects of this study were grade IV elementary school teachers totaling 11 people. Data analysis instruments use observation sheets that are analyzed and described according to the criteria set. The results showed that the teacher's performance in the first cycle had an average percentage of 65% with sufficient criteria, classically the number of teachers who achieved the indicator of success was 3 people (27%). After repairs with academic supervision, the performance of teachers in the second cycle increased with a percentage of 81% with sufficient criteria. Classically the number of teachers who achieved good performance was 9 people (81%). The conclusion of this study is the implementation of academic supervision can improve the performance of elementary school teachers in the city of Dumai.

The purpose of this study is mainly to describe the performance of primary school teachersin the unit of education technical implementation in Banyumanik, Semarang. This researchwas conducted in January- August 2017. The sample of this research is 162 primaryschool teachers selected by random sampling technique in order to get the same opportunityas sample. The instruments used in this study were the assessment sheets, the RatingSheet consisted of 64 items of question, and 3 indicators of Primary School TeacherPerformance. The results show that each of Implementation of lesson plans is categorizedvery well (90, 9%), the execution of the learning is 83.4%, assessment of learning is good(82.8%). The Overall performance of primary school teachers is categorized good( 85 , 7 % ). In other words, the primary school teachers of the unit of education technicalimplementation in Banyumanik Semarang can arrange the lesson plans, carry out learningand teaching process and assess the learning process in elementary school.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan: budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan komitmen; komunikasi dengan komitmen, komitmen dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan kinerja melalui komitmen; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru melalui komitmen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 250 orang guru di 100 Sekolah yang dipilih secara stratified proporsional random sampling dari populasi sebesar 2.276 orang guru yang tersebar di 274 SD Negeri di Kota Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftip dan analisi jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komitmen memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru, komitmen merupakan perantara hubugan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru dan hubungan komunikasi dengan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: budaya sekolah, komunikasi, komitmen, kinerja THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL CULTURE, COMMUNICATION, AND COMMITMENT AND THE STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the relationship between: school culture and tea- chers’ performance; communication and teachers’ commitment; school culture and commitment; communication and commitment; commitment and teachers’ performance; school culture and performance through commitment; communication and teachers’ performance through commitment. The sample consisting of 250 teachers from 100 schools was selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique from a population of 2,276 teachers teaching in 274 state elementary schools in Banjarmasin Municipality. The data were collected using an instrument which had been validated and which was reliable. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis and the path analysis. The findings showed that there was relationship between: school culture and teachers’ performance, communication and performance, school culture and commitment, communication and commitment, commitment and teachers’ performance. Commitment became an intervening variable between school culture and teachers’ performance and between communication and teachers’ performance. <em>The purpose of this service is to train primary school teachers in Surakarta city to have the ability to optimize the role of a teacher to involve parents and the community in the implementation of learning so that specifically this activity aims to train teachers to have the ability to compile contact books and worksheets. The method used in this service begins the Workshop, Practices, and Implementation. In conducting this training, subjects were asked to work on tests related to the preparation of connection books and worksheets for elementary school teachers. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The results of this activity were an increase in teacher's knowledge and understanding of the preparation of connection books and worksheets</em>

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work discipline on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Cluster I, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. This type of research is quantitative. The sample in the study was 55 respondents with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results showed that: 1) there is a significant influence of leadership on teacher performance, 2) there is a significant effect of work discipline on teacher performance, 3) there is a significant influence between leadership and work discipline on teacher performance.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan pemahaman guru pada pembelajaran transisi dan regulasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 1 SD di daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ex post facto dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang dalam bentuk skala likert dan skala gutmen. Analisis data menggunakan anava dua arah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika anak yang diajarkan oleh guru dengan pemahaman guru pada pembelajaran transisi tinggi dan pemahaman guru pada pembelajaran transisi rendah, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika anak yang memiliki regulasi diri tinggi dan regulasi diri rendah, ada pengaruh interaksi pemahaman guru pada pembelajaran transisi dan regulasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika.

Penelitian ini berdasarkan fenomena motivasi belajar siswa yang masuk pada kategori rendah yang dipengaruhi oleh bebrapa faktor seperti; pola asuh orang  tua, konsep diri, serta kontrol diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 313 siswa yang diambil dari tiga SMA Negeri di Kota Malang (SMA Negeri 4, SMA Negeri 7, SMA Negeri 10) dengan menggunakan  teknik sampel multistage cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data multiple linear /regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya kontribusi  yang signifikan variabel pola asuh orang tua dan kontrol diri terhadap motivasi belajar. Namun variabel konsep diri tidak berkontribusi secara parsial terhadap motivasi belajar. The contribution of democratic parenting pattern, self-control and self-concept on the students' learning motivationAbstractThis study is based on the phenomenon of student learning motivation that entered in the low category influenced by several factors such as; parenting patterns, self-concept, and self-control. This research uses quantitative research design with ex-post facto design. Samples in the study amounted to 313 students taken from three SMA Negeri in Malang (SMA Negeri 4, SMA Negeri 7, SMA Negeri 10) by using multistage cluster random sampling technique. This study uses multiple linear data analysis / multiple linear regression. The result of this research is the existence of significant contribution of parenting pattern of parents and self control to motivation learn. However, self concept variables do not contribute partially to the motivation to learn.

The research is aimed at determine the  relationship of  achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism on the teacher’s teaching ability. The research was done in Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The number of population is all elementary school teachers, while the number of the samples is 50 teachers taken using simple random sampling. The instruments used were: (1) observation checklist for getting the data of teacher’s teaching ability, and (2) questionnaires for achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using simple and multiple correlation and regression.  The result showed that: there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation (X1) and assessment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism (X2) simultaneously and teacher’s teaching ability (Y), (ry12 =0.62 and r2 =0,38 ). Based on the results, it can be stated that the ability of teachers can be improved by improving achievement motivation and developing the assessment of the professional teachers.

The present study was conducted to analyze the assessment models employed by Indonesian elementary school teachers in the context of assessment models as suggested by the curriculum in 2013. The analysis includes the selected assessment models and their implementation in real classroom settings to assess the students’ attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This study made use of a qualitative research design in which the data were analyzed by means of deep argumentation and presented descriptively. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with the selected elementary school teachers. The collected data were analyzed in an analytical manner to obtain the findings.   The findings of the present study indicated that primary school teachers employed various models of assessment based on the aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Assessment of the students’ attitude includes observation, self-assessment, peer assessment, and teachers’ records. Assessment of the students’ knowledge includes a written test, an oral test, and assignment.  Assessment of the students’ skill includes performance, portfolio, and project. Meanwhile,  the scores of the students’ achievement were analyzed based on the scores of the students’ attitude obtained by using the instruments, such as observation blank sheet, Self-assessment, peer assessment, and teacher’ records. Self-assessment and peer assessment were also used as a confirmation of the scores for the report card and the teachers’ records were mainly used to provide the suggestions for the students’ improvement.
