Islam diturunkan ke dunia hanya untuk membebaskan manusia dari semua bentukketidakadilan. Dalam hubungan laki-laki dan perempuan, keadilan mensyaratkan tidak adadiskriminasi, tidak ada kecenderungan mengistmewakan jenis kelamin tertentu danmerendahkan jenis kelamin yang lain. Keadilan memberikan bobot yang sama dalam hakdan tanggung jawab baik perempuan maupun laki-laki. Keadilan tidak menempatkanperempuan sebagai subordinasi laki-laki. Ada prinsip-prinsip keadilan dalam hubunganlaki-laki dan perempuan yang terkandung di dalam nilai-nilai Islam universal. PendidikanIslam sebagai proses transformasi nilai-nilai Islam mempunyai peran penting dalammembentuk masyarakat agar memiliki kepekaan sensitive gender. Posisi tidak setaraantara peran laki-laki dan perempuan bukanlah bagian dari pendidikan Islam. Oleh karenaitu, perlu dikembangkan konsep pendidikan Islam responsif gender yang memberikankesempatan sama baik bagi laki-laki maupun perempuan untuk mengembangkan potensidirinya secara optimalIslam was revealed to the world only to free humanity from all forms of injustice. In therelationship of men and women, justice requires no discrimination, there is no tendency tolet down certain sexes and demean other sexes. Justice provides equal weight in the rightsand responsibilities of both women and men. Justice does not place women as subordinateto men. There are principles of justice in the relations of men and women contained inuniversal Islamic values. Islamic education as a process of transforming Islamic values hasan important role in shaping society to have gender sensitive sensitivity. The unequalposition between the roles of men and women is not part of Islamic education. Therefore,the concept of gender responsive Islamic education needs to be developed which providesequal opportunities for both men and women to develop their potential optimally

This article shows that: the concept of Quran about the veil not only instructs women to wear the hijab, but also to the believing men and women of Muslims to adorn themselves with piety jewelry. The concept of the veil was ordered not to say in a voice seductive, stimulating and provoke lust, stay indoors, not out except in a situation that really needs, not tabarruj, not open-aperture, establish prayers, pay zakat, submit and obey all which Allah recommended to His Apostle to what came to him. The relevance of the concept of Qur'an about the veil with the goal of Islamic education is its compatibility in the formation of human morality that leads to the personality of Islam by always strengthening the faith and piety, so as to be useful human beings for the state, religion and achieve happiness of the world and the hereafter. Vocabulary education is philosophically oriented towards Islamic values based on three dimensions, (a) inculcating a balanced and harmonious relationship with God, (b) establishing a harmonious, harmonious and balanced relationship with the community, (c) developing the ability to explore, managing, and utilizing the natural wealth for the benefit of the welfare of his life with a harmonious attitude.

The unpresendented presence of Pandemic Covid 19 in the beginning of 2020 has almost paralyzed the world of global education, including Indonesia’s Islamic education as one of the biggest Islamic education systems in the world. Anticipating the possibility of similar incidents in the future, the Indonesia’s Islamic education needs to redesign its learning approach in order to create a new learning model that is more resilient, and meet the needs and the demands of Industri 4.0: Education 4.0. Unlike the conventional approache having been used so far, this new desired approach departs from a paradigm that places the students at the center of learning with the involvement of the use of on-line classes to explore them to the fullest. Philosophically, there is a resemblance of Education 4.0 orientation to the Islamic education’s concept of ‘cradle-to-grave learning’, which emphasizes the creation of life-long learners and teachers to enable them to play positive and constructive roles in today work environment and in the innovative society in general. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this paper seeks to examine the the urgency and the readiness of the Indonesia’s Islamic Education to tansform into education 4.0 and its crusial challenges in facing this demand.

Education is a powerful tool to change the world by changing the behavior of society to be better. In Islamic education, one most important thing is the education of faith or belief, because it all starts from it. Faith is the foundation of knowledge and value. Islam emphasizes how important it is to teach values to kids in primary school level and how important is the role of parents and teachers. This method is very essential to build strong values for kids so that those values which are taught from that age would last forever. This happens because kids have powerful memory to remember everything. This paper explaines the importance of teaching values to primary school students and the best methods to instill Islamic values related to “akidah” in age 7 – 13 years old by using axiology theory and trying to relate it to philosophy. Axiology is one of philosophy study which focuses on the theory of values. Its study contains about how to reach knowledge to get values in ethic, logic and aesthetic ways. The result of this paper explaines that there are some steps which can be used for teachers in primary school to educate students about values in general and about Islamic values which most of students have the foundation before from their parents. The problems in Islamic education today can be said to be confronted in terms of quality and poor cycles. Several studies have resulted in his analysis which has shown that leadership is the most important fact in an effort to change the cycle for the better. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a paradigmatic science, especially in the framework of the epistemology is able to bring strong leadership. This effort is intended to be carried out in developing and strengthening Islamic education with better management and in which there are Islamic values ​​as elan fundament of education management. Where these values ​​can build motivation and work performance that results in two goals, because the process developed is not only aimed at satisfaction and productivity, but also oriented towards values transcendental-eschatological (worship and the pleasure of God). The leadership is a visionary leadership and is able to build effective, efficient and productive organizational processes in conducive learning. This leadership model is none other; spiritual leadership that is able to give birth to the sun in the world of education. Keywords: epistemology, spiritual leadership, Islamic education   Problematika dalam pendidikan Islam saat ini bisa dikatakan berhadapan dalam masalah kualiatas dan siklus yang kurang baik. Dari beberapa penelitian telah mengahasilkan analisisnya yang telah menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan adalah fakta paling penting dalam upaya mengubah siklus yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya konstruks paradigmatik keilmuan terutama dalam kerangka epistemologi yang mampu melahirkan kepemimpinan yang kuat (strong leaderhip). Upaya ini guna dilakukan dalam membangun dan memperkuat pendidikan Islam dengan pengelolaan yang lebih baik dan didalamnya terdapat nilai-nilai Islam sebagai elan fundamen pengelolaan pendidikan. Yang dimana nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membangun motivasi dan performa kerja yang mengahasilkan dua tujuan, karena proses yang dikembangkan tidak hanya bertujuan pada kepuasan dan produktivitas, melainkan juga berorientasi pada nilai-nilai trasendental-eskatologis (ibadah dan keridhaan Allah). Kepemimpinan terebut merupakan kepemimpinan yang visoner dan mampu membangun proses organisasi yang efektif, efisien dan produktif dalam pembelajaran yang kondusif. Model kepemimpinan ini tidak lain adalah kepemimpinan spiritual yang mampu melahirkan surya dalam dunia pendidikan. Kata Kunci: epistemologi, kepemimpinan spiritual, pendidikan Islam

The issue of renewal will always be associated with the advancement of science and technology as well as the changing demands of the times. Modernization or renewal can be an attempt to improve the situation both in terms of ways, concepts, and a set of methods commonly applied in order to deliver better circumstances. In the context of renewal education is the absolute thing to be done because part of maintaining the existence of education itself. Islamic education is uniquely different from other types of educational theory and practice largely because of the all-encompassing influence of the Qur’an. The renewal of Islamic education is an attempt to actualize the great values of religion in the form of an empirical and historical life. Nurcholis Madjid and Kuntowijoyo are two great Islamic thinkers of Indonesia who seek to actualize Islamic values in everyday life. Although not specific in the world of education, but what is done in Islamic renewal can be used in renewal in education. The values of religion that are still normative and subjective must be transformed into theories that can be translated in the empirical world and become objective. This paper aims to explore the thinking of Islamic renewal of these two figures and find its relevance to the development of Islamic education.

This research was conducted to review various problems in the world of education and solutions in dealing with them. The purpose of this research is to explore Islamic and western sociological theories as a basis for spiritual pedagogic development. This study uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. The results in this study indicate that Islam pays special attention to human potential as social beings. In the Quran, there are three sociological concepts, namely tadafu, ta'aruf, and ta'awun. The three of them are the foundation that strengthens that humans have a natural tendency to defend the truth and oppose evil, and live amid the diversity of characteristics of fellow humans. With various studies on sociology, inclusive Islamic education needs to be applied in order to foster students in caring for their relationship with God and with fellow humans. Thus, religion plays a role as a solution in the midst of human life to form a civil society, which promotes the values ​​of monotheism in its social interactions.

Islam was born as a religion in the middle of the socio-cultural of Arab society full of dynamics and social problematics. Discrimination and crime continue to blanket the lives of people at that time. Islam as a living system containing several sub-systems of aspects, and among them is a sub-system in the education sector. Through aspects of doctrine and education, Islam asserts that the urgency of science has never looked at economic, social and even racial differences. Speaking of the world of education, especially education in Indonesia today has faced various problems and challenges very heavy. Among the challenges are, cultural, ethical and moral globalization, as a result of technological advances (transport and information), and low levels of social-capital, low quality of education in Indonesia, and national macro issues, involving multidimensional crises in both fields economic, political, moral, cultural and so forth. In addition, there is an indication that the world of Islamic education is failing, which failed to humanize human (humanization), failed to form human in accordance with the vision and mission of creation. This failure has implications for the process of maternalistic education, away from Islamic values and weak character.

The Spread of the Western feminism movement in parts of the world including Indonesia has had a fairly risky impact on Indonesian society, especially among women. The influence of western feminism is the equalization of positions between men and women in all respects so that not women in Indonesia forget their nature as women both when they become daughters, wives, and mothers so that this often leads to conflict in the family that are contrary to Islamic teachings. This article aims to find the real concept of feminism in Islam. To obtain answers to these problems, the researchers used literature studies namely reviewing various scientific articles related to Western and Islamic feminism as well as reciting verses from the Quran related to equality of men and women. The result obtained from the study stated that the concept of feminism in Islam aims to make women knowledgeable and insightful and not narrow their space of movement. But not just standing alone without needing a partner or a man. Both are creatures of Allah who need each other and were created to perfect each other. In Islam, the nature of men and women is different and there is a nature that can only be done by men or women. Therefore, feminism in Islam only demands equality of rights such as the right to study, the right to work, and the right to a career, not demanding gender equality.
