Evaluasi pelaksanaan teaching factory SMK di Surakarta bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan teaching factory SMK di Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan evaluasi model formatif-sumatif oleh Scriven yang menekankan pada evaluasi formatif. Populasi penelitian adalah semua SMK di Surakarta yang menjalankan teaching factory berjumlah 9 sekolah dan respondennya adalah 81 guru pengampu kompetensi keahlian yang menjalankan teaching factory di sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan teaching factory SMK di Surakarta ditinjau dari kegiatan pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat baik (17,28%) oleh 14 guru, baik (39,51%) oleh 32 guru, tidak baik (25,93%) oleh 21 guru, dan sangat tidak baik (17,28%) oleh 14 guru. Sedangkan hasil pelaksanaan teaching factory SMK di Surakarta ditinjau dari proses produksi dinyatakan sangat baik (14,81%) oleh 12 guru, baik (27,16%) oleh 22 guru, tidak baik (44,44%) oleh 36 guru, dan sangat tidak baik (13,58%) oleh 11 guru. AN EVALUATION OF SMK TEACHING FACTORY IN SURAKARTAAn evaluation of the teaching factory implementation in vocational high schools (VHSs) in Surakarta aims to find out he teaching factory implementation process in VHSs in Surakarta. This was a descriptive study with the formative-sumative evaluation model by Scriven emphasizing on the formative evaluation. The population comprised all 9 VHSs in Surakarta carrying out the teaching factory. The respondents were 81 teachers involved in the teaching factory. The results of the evaluation show that the teaching factory in VHSs in Surakarta for the learning activity component is very good (17.28%, 14 respondents), good (39.51%, 32 respondents), poor (25.93%, 21 respondents), and very poor (17.28%, 14 respondents), and for the production proccess component it is very good (14.81%, 12 respondents), good (27.16%, 22 respondents), poor (44.44%, 36 respondents), and very poor (13.58%, 11 respondents).

Evaluation is divided into several kinds, one of which is formative evaluation. Formative evaluation is appropriately used because the process involves students directly in the learning process and is able to improve students' conceptual understanding. The qualitative data were taken from a field research consisting of: 1) observations, observing the students' activities during teaching-learning process and their learning activities while doing evaluation; 2) Interviews, the techniques used were open interview, the interview conducted with the informants using interview guides and documentation analysis. From the results of the case study, some problems were found. To overcome the problems, a model of formative evaluation needs to be developed in order to provide fast feedback for the students and the teachers. The purpose of this research is to make formative evaluation model for ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning in Vocational High Schools. The design of the research was research and development of a formative evaluation model. The instruments used were questionnaires for product feasibility tests including book review validation, pre-learning quiz instruments, post-learning quiz instruments and product-segment models. Based on the results of qualitative data, interviews were conducted to both students and ICT teachers, and documentation recorded. It was found that 90% teachers had not done formative evaluation system well. On one hand, the results of quantitative data analysis show that the results of student learning, especially ICT subjects were still relatively low. From the above data, it can be concluded that it is necessary to do research on the development of formative evaluation model to improve student learning outcomes in Vocational High Schools.

This research aimed to find out the difficulties faced by the English teachers in Vocational High Schools in designing a lesson plan (RPP) based on KTSP. It employed a descriptive quantitative method. The population of this research was 23 respondents, from all teachers which have followed KTSP training. The sample was taken by using total sampling techniques. To collect the data, the researcher used the questionnaire. It was consist of 37 questions that it was divided into 9 aspects in a lesson plan namely; standard of competence, basic competence, indicator, the aims of learning, teaching material, the methods/techniques, the steps of learning activity, the tools/sources of material, and evaluation. It used the percentage formula and weighted mean formula to analyze data. The result of the research showed that there were not any significant difficulties in designing a lesson plan (RPP) based on KTSP faced by the English teachers in Vocational High Schools because all aspects were in sometimes/moderate predicate. It indicated that in designing a lesson plan (RPP) based on KTSP was not significant difficult. Beside that, according to the result above, the most difficult aspects were none aspect because it also with sometimes predicate. It indicated that the English teachers in Vocational High School did not find any significant difficulties in writing all aspects of the lesson plan.

This study aims to produce ICT-based learning media for Vocational High Schools (VHS) in the form of ICT-based accounting multimedia application, named “Multimedia Akuntansi” (MAKSI) on bank reconciliation material. The development of learning media is done because of the limited number of innovative learning media available for VHS students, especially in the accounting field. The condition is influential on the students' low level of understanding. This research was research and development using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The use of the ADDIE model is because the model is flexible, so it can be used for learning instrument development. At each phase of development, evaluation and revision were conducted so that the resulting product became a valid and reliable product. This development resulted in MAKSI proven to be suitable for use in accounting learning. The feasibility of MAKSI was evaluated from the average score of product feasibility validation from the material expert by 87%, from the media expert of 96%, and the result of the students' evaluation by 88.7%. MAKSI can help the learning process more enjoyable so that the media is interesting and proven to improve students' understanding significantly. MAKSI can be a complement, alternative, and variation of learning media in VHS. This product can be operated via laptops/computers as well as smartphones through free downloads in Play Store. The utilization of MAKSI is in accordance with the curriculum demand on the utilization of ICT in the learning process to support independent and student-centered learning.

Muhammadiyah High Schools in Sidoarjo Regency has become as a pilot project education researchers in the scheme organized by PP Muhammadiyah’s Diktilitbang Assembly. This research aims to study and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Holistic-Integrative-based ISMUBA curriculum in Muhammadiyah High Schools in Sidoarjo Regency with the context, input, process and product (CIPP) evaluation model. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interview and documentation techniques. Then the researchers analyzed the data using the Miles & Hiberman design, namely data reduction, presentation, conclusion and verification. ISMUBA curriculum implementation process in accordance with the guidance of the Dikdasmen assembly based on a comprehensive and integrated holistic curriculum base through curriculum content standarts, centered on the potential, development, needs of students, combining knowledge and Islam, and forming and instilling habits of Islamic values in school, and a small note related to Arabic learning of Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan high school and Muhammadiyah 4 Porong high school are still classified as using the classical system.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran seni tari di sekolah menengah atas Negeri di Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah evaluasi formatif yang dikembangkan oleh Scriven. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua guru dan 59 murid dari dua SMA Negeri di Sleman, Yogyakarta yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui dan mengukur perencanaan pembelajaran dan cara mengajar guru. Observasi dilakukan untuk pengecekan kesesuaian antara RPP dan silabus dengan kegiatan pembelajaran. Wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperdalam informasi. Validasi instrumen yang digunakan adalah validasi expert judgment, dan teknik triangulasi data digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pemahaman guru terhadap Kurikulum 2013 dalam kategori sangat cukup, ini dibktikan dari jawaban interviuw yang memuaskan; 2) perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di dalam kelas sudah sangat sesuai dan hal ini dapat terlihat dari rata-rata penilaian angket yang diberikan, yaitu 80,3; 3) dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat sesuai dan hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata penilaian angket siswa terhadap berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran yaitu 80,59.Kata kunci: evalusi pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013, seni tari THE EVALUATION OF CURRICULUM 2013 IMPLEMENTATION ON ART DANCE SUBJECT IN STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLSIN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTAAbstract The objective of this research is to describe the evaluation of the implementation of Curriculum 2013 on the art dance subject in state senior high schools in Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research was evaluation research with qualitative descriptive approach. The evaluation model was a formative evaluation which was developed by Scriven. The subjects of this research were two teachers and 59 students of two states senior high schools in Sleman, Yogyakarta which were selected by using the random sampling technique. The instruments were a questionnaire, observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. The questionnaire was used to know and to measure the lesson plan and the procedure of the teaching and learning process. The observation guide was used to check the compatibility among lesson plans and syllabus with the teaching and learning process. The interview guide and documentation were used to deepen the information. The instrument validities used were expert judgment and triangulation. The triangulation was used to analyze the data, consisting of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The result of this research shows that 1) the teachers’ comprehension of Curriculum 2013 is defficient enough 2) the planning of the teaching and learning process is very suitable, which could be seen from the average result of the questionnaire which is 80,3; 3) the implementation of the teaching and learning process is very suitable. Which could be seen from the average of students’ questionnaire result of the teaching and learning process, which is 80,59.Keywords: development, method, sight reading, rhythmic

The research aims to describe the effectiveness of computer laboratory management on Computer and Networking Engineering program at Vocational High Schools in Wonogiri Regency from Context, Input, Process and Product aspects. This was an evaluation study employing the quantitative approach. The evaluation model employed was the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) that was suggested by Stufflebeam. The respondents consisted of 9 headmasters, 9 infrastructure vice principals, 9 heads of program, 4 heads of the computer laboratory, 3 technicians, 21 teachers and 225 students of class XI. The data analysis technique used was the descriptive statistics using the SPSS software IBM 23 version.The results of the research show that: (1) based on context aspect, the effectiveness of computer laboratory management on Computer and Networking  Engineering program at Vocational High Schools in Wonogiri Regency is good with a score 84.19%; (2) based on input aspect the effectiveness of computer laboratory management on Computer and Networking  Engineering program at Vocational High Schools in Wonogiri Regency is good with a score 79.69%; (3) based on process aspect  the effectiveness of computer laboratory management on Computer and Networking  Engineering program at Vocational High Schools in Wonogiri Regency is good with a score 84.17%; and (4) based on product aspect  the effectiveness of computer laboratory management on Computer and Networking  Engineering program at Vocational High Schools in Wonogiri Regency is good enough with achievement a score 69.41%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi secara komprehensif tentang implementasi pendekatan keterampilan proses (PKP) dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMAN Kota Semarang, dan mengungkap berbagai faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi kesenjangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan pendekatan mixed-method, diawali dengan penggunaan metode kuantitatif dilanjutkan dengan metode kualitatif. Data kuantitatif tingkat penggunaan keterampilan proses oleh peserta didik dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner dikembangkan dengan memodifikasi langkah Madaus et al., Claeys et al., dan Wheeler, melalui tahap review literatur, mengkonstruksi instrumen, menetapkan validitas isi dengan cara validasi pakar, dan uji coba lapangan. Data kualitatif tentang proses pembelajaran biologi dan data kualitatif lainnya, diperoleh melalui observasi, pembuatan catatan lapangan, kategorisasi catatan lapangan, dan wawancara mendalam. Seluruh data dianalisis dengan explanatory mixed-method analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas implementasi PKP dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMAN kota Semarang belum mencapai kategori baik. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat utamanya adalah tinggi dan rendahnya komitmen guru untuk mengimplementasikan PKP dalam pembelajaran biologi.Kata kunci: evaluasi implementasi kurikulum, pendekatan keterampilan proses, pembelajaran biologi, mixed-method______________________________________________________________ AN EVALUATION OF THE PSA IMPLEMENTATION IN BIOLOGY TEACHING AT STATE HIGH SCHOOLS IN SEMARANG CITY USING THE MIXED-METHOD APPROACH Abstract This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the process skill approach (PSA) in the biology teaching at state high schools in Semarang City,  and reveal the various supporting factors and the constraints. The study used a discrepancy evaluation model. The data were collected using a mixed-methods approach, initiated with the use of the quantitative method followed by the use the qualitative method. The quantitative data about the level of the process-skill use by the students were collected using questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed by referring to the steps of Madaus et al., Claeys et al., and Wheeler, through reviewing literature, constructing instruments, and determining the content validaty  through expert validation, and conducting  field trials. The qualitative data about the biology teaching process and the other qualitative data were collected through  observation, the preparation of field notes and categorization of field notes, and in depth interview. The whole data were analyzed using the explanatory mixed-method analysis. The result shows that the quality of the implementation of the biology curriculum at state high schools in Semarang City is not in a good category yet. The main supporting factors and the constraints are the the teachers’ high and low commitment to implement the PSA in the biology teaching.Keywords: evaluation of curriculum implementation, process skill approach, biologi learning, mixed-method

This study aims to determine the roles and obstacles of school librarians in providing services during the Covid-19. This descriptive study used a qualitative approach. The researchers selected 13 representatives of high schools, vocational high schools, and madrasah aliyah at the same level as public and private. The data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation. The study found that school librarians have provided certain library services during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely providing direct services by implementing health protocols, providing digital information sources or e-books, disseminating information via WhatsApp, improving and fixing library infrastructures. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by school librarians were unpreparedness to face the pandemic, lack of technology facilities and internet access, lack of competency, and minimum library budget.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan keefektifan pengelolaan lab komputer di sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri se Kota Banjarbaru, menggunakan pendekatan deskritif kualitatif, bertempat di SMK negeri se Kota Banjarbaru. Populasi sekaligus menjadi sampel penelitian adalah tiga orang kepala sekolah, 15 orang guru, tiga orang laboran, 30 orang siswa kelas XII. Objek penelitian adalah lab komputer. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dan observasi di lapangan. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara membandingkan antara rerata skor observasi dan norma yang telah ditentukan. Pengelolaan lab komputer secara umum kurang efektif, perencanaan yang tidak terstruktur dan kurang melibatkan pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan, pengorganisasian yang tidak maksimal, pelaksanaan yang masih kurang sesuai dengan perencanaan, dan pengawasan yang dilakukan secara tidak terencana dan tidak ada tindak lanjut yang jelas. Untuk itu pengelolaan lab komputer memerlukan strategi dalam melaksanakan fungsinya sebagai salah satu sarana dan prasarana kegiatan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan sumber daya yang ada, memperbaiki kelemahan, dan tanggap terhadap peluang serta mencari solusi untuk setiap hambatan yang ditemukan. Untuk meningkatkan keefektifan pengelolaan lab komputer dilakukan dengan konsultasi dan komunikasi dua arah dengan pihak yang terkait dalam upaya memberdayakan dan mengembangkan sumber daya serta memberi solusi dan arahan penyelesaian masalah yang tepat. Kata kunci: keefektifan, pengelolaan, lab komputer THE MANAGEMENT OF COMPUTER LABORATORIES IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Abstract This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the management of computer labs in state vocational high schools in Banjarbaru. This study used the qualitative descriptive approach, held at all vocational high schools in Banjarbaru. The sample of the study which was also the population consisted of three principals, 15 teachers, three laboratorians, and 30 students of class XII. The objects were computer laboratories. The techniques of collecting the data were structured interviews and field observations. The research instruments were in the form of questionnaire and observation sheet. The data were analyzed by comparing the mean of observation score with the predetermined norm. The research results were as follows. The management of computer labs was generally not effective. This could be seen from the unstructured planning and a lack of involvement of the related parties, the organization which was not maximum, the implementation which was still not in accordance with the planning, and the unplanned supervision without any clear follow-up. Therefore, computer lab management needed strategies to carry out its function as one of the learning activity infrastructures by making use of existing resources, improving weaknesses, being responsive to the opportunities, and finding solutions to any obstacles found. Improving the effectiveness of the computer lab management should be done by conducting two-way communication and consultation with relevant parties in an effort to empower and develop resources and provide solutions and guidance to solve problems accurately. This study aims to (1) describe supporting and inhibiting factors in blended learning implementation for the students of computer and network engineering expertise program and (2) describe the accomplishment level of the implementation. This study is designed as a descriptive study with quantitative approach. The research object is the blended learning implementation in computer and network engineering expertise program in SMK N 1 Baureno Bojonegoro. The research subjects consist of teachers, facilities, materials and applications and students in the blended learning implementation process. The data was collected using observation, surveys and interviews. It was analyzed using percentages and classification analysis. The results reveals that the blended learning has been appropriately implemented. It is proven by the analysis result of supporting and inhibiting factors including facilities, teachers’ skill, materials and applications and blended learning accomplishment. The result is also supported by the description about blended learning activity, the use of facilities, blended learning composition and the impact of implementing blended learning. The weaknesses in the implementation process are the low quantity and quality of personal computers and inadequate internet connection. Teachers and school boards are expected to work collaboratively to solve the problems thus the implementation of blended learning can be maximized.
