The authors emphasize that the origins of social entrepreneurship in entrepreneurship is a special kind of market behavior. Creating and establishing intersectoral cooperation that will meet economic and social needs will enable success in this area. Our country still lacks a legislative initiative and a clear policy aimed at the development of this phenomenon. Society needs to be prepared for the fact that many social problems can be solved not only by the state, but also by private individuals seeking to make the world at least a little bit better. It`s necessary to form among young people the correct idea of social entrepreneurship and how with their own resources and with the support of specialized organizations one can achieve the solution of many pressing problems of our time. From the standpoint of the formation and development of entrepreneurial qualities, the education system should contribute to a change in value orientations, equip the population with sustainable knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of entrepreneurship, motivate the individual to this activity, which requires finding and implementing new approaches to the content and organization of the educational process for all levels of education. Present society development faces a significant growth in unemployment in all countries around the world, regardless of the level of their development, and a decrease in income. Instability in the economy causes inability to meet population basic needs at the expense of available opportunities. There is a need to expand social entrepreneurship, launching of social enterprises, whose activities are based on innovative business models with a predominant focus on solving social problems. The entities` management requires training of management professionals able to deal with complex economic and social issues, rather than performing certain functions. The authors argue that it is the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship that determines the prospects for its development in a particular country. To test the hypothesis, a questionnaire was developed and a survey of students of different courses in economics and management was conducted. The questionnaire contained questions that allow us to consider the understanding of social entrepreneurship essence, the role of gender in social business, highlight key characteristics of social entrepreneurship and identify prospects for this innovative model through the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship. The study objective is to determine the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship in order to outline the future prospects for the formation of a new business model with value orientations on human resources. The results of the study demonstrated the importance of social entrepreneurship amid economic uncertainty and external threats. The vast majority of respondents have propensity and are ready to do business based on the innovative model of socially-oriented business. However, there is a fundamental belief in the psyche of people in economic benefits, but not the combination of social mission with efficiency, which is the basis of social business. The study could be a starting point for identifying areas to improve managers training through identification of key social orientations, which will help in the future to intensify the development of innovative business models aimed at solving socio-economic problems of a society.

The adoption of the Mu`tazili school of “rationalist” theology and the institution of ijtihad enabled Shi`i legal theory to exhibit vibrancy and made it adaptable to changing contingencies and circumstances. But because Shi`i jurists did not face the challenge of governing a state, their juridical focus and orientation remained fixated on resolving issues confronting the laity or their followers (muqallid) at a personal level and did not provide an ethical framework for the ijtihad process. The establishment of a Shi`i state in Iran in 1979, which forced them to tackle social, political, economic, educational, and cultural issues, demanded a change in orientation – away from the individual and toward society as the unit of analysis vis-à-vis ijtihad. They marshaled various methods, legal devices, and strategies to address contemporary social issues in order to provide pragmatic guidance to the citizens that would be in conformity with the moral and ethical principles laid out in the revelatory sources. This paper examines the writings of Ayatullahs Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, Muhammad Mahdi Shamsuddin, Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Fadlullah, and Ruhullah Musavi al-Khomeini and studies this phenomenon of change from individual-oriented ijtihad to society-oriented ijtihad.

Metacognitive skills refers to individual abilities for regulating and controlling learning behavior. Orientation, goal setting, planning, monitoring, and evaluation are manifestations of those skills. Given that metacognitive skills directly affect learning behavior, they are a strong predictor of learning performance. Students display a huge variation in metacognitive skillfulness, dependent on age and experience. In this article, metacognitive skills are considered to be an acquired program of self-instructions, that is, an orderly series of condition-action rules that contain conditional knowledge about when to apply which skill, and operational instructions for how to implement a particular skill. This notion has implications for effective metacognitive instruction in deficient students. Prior to instruction, on-line assessments of metacognitive skillfulness during actual task performance are indispensable for the identification of deficient students and for tailoring metacognitive instruction to the individual needs of students. Instruction should subsequently address what skill to perform when, why, and how (WWW&H), embedded within the context of a given task. Moreover, instruction should explicitly inform students about the benefits of applying metacognitive skills to make them exert the required effort. Finally, teachers may act as role model to students by including explicit metacognitive instruction in their lessons.

Social entrepreneurship is an activity that is receiving intense scrutiny from scholars, practitioners and policymakers. However, research is only beginning to explore the unique function social entrepreneurs fill in the marketplace. This conceptual article examines if social entrepreneurs indeed represent a novel category of market actor. Building on prior work claiming that the unique function of social entrepreneurs is the creation of positive externalities and generation of spillover benefits for society, we compare social entrepreneurs with conventional entrepreneurs and other entities that seek to increase social welfare, including governments and traditional nonprofit organisations. Specifically, we contend that the strengths of social entrepreneurship are its reliance on voluntary exchange, promotion of dignity and self-sufficiency in beneficiaries, attunement to the signals of the marketplace and ability to tap into consumer spending. We also uncover the limitations of social entrepreneurship, which include the challenge of combining multiple institutional logics, the existence of social issues around which viable businesses cannot be built, dependence on consumer demand and competitive disadvantages relative to conventional businesses. We discuss the implications of our conceptualisation of social entrepreneurship for practitioners, policymakers and future research.
